Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Schaffhausen District

Irene is friendly and accommodating. She allows us to check in earlier. Her place is cozy and kitchen is well-equipped. It is a very good choice to stay for visiting Rheinfall

Matthias' house is spacious, nicely decorated, and looks even better in real life than on the photos. It's situated a few mins walk from the forest, and many hiking trails which is a bonus for nature lovers like me. The Rhine Falls is also about 10 mins walk on foot from Neuhausen city center. Matthias is super friendly and easygoing, gives great advice and tips on the Schaffhausen area, hiking trails, things to do around. The kitchen, bathroom, washroom are very well equipped and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The room has a thermostat and you can control the temperature which was much appreciated, especially during the winter months. The nearest bus stop is 5 mins walk from the house which is convenient when getting to work or to the nearby shops. I had a pleasant stay and enjoyed my time at Matthias' house and I would definitely book again with him. You can't find a better spot in the Neuhausen, Schaffhausen, Rhein Falls area. a beautiful room in a quiet neighborhood near the Rhine and its famous falls. A friendly hostess, just like her two cats. Be careful not to run over the rabbits in the garden when you put your bike away 😇

Susanne is a very helpful host. My husband had a flat tire about 6 km before our destination. Susanne quickly helped us and brought a bicycle pump so that we could continue. The location is great for cyclists and if you want to see the Rhine Falls.

The room was clean and comfortable. Peaceful location walkable distance to the park and city center. Friendly host, even offering to prolong check out time for free for couple hours. Time of response was quick and clear. I would recommend this house for anyone.

We stayed here right before a flight to the US from Zurich airport and it was perfect!! We slept great- had a nice shower and because there was a fridge and some dishes we were able to have cereal in the morning. We loved our stay! Highly recommended!!!

I was delighted to return again. Christoph was super welcoming and helpful. As with last time, it was super clean. Several charming restaurants are nearby, but I also used the new kitchen to make a simple pasta one evening. With a pharmacy, Coop and Manor just 2 minutes walk (and the main station within 5 minutes) there many convenient amenities. This home is a perfect pied-à-terre while exploring Schaffhausen (and Neuhausen's Rhinefall is only a few stops away by bus or train)

Wonderful, atmospheric apartment in a quiet residential area. On a hilltop, so taking the bus (stop is around the corner) is clearly a necessity, but we did the return to the station on foot (~20 mins). It's her actual home - something very much appreciated! - where Sara has managed to decorate two bedrooms in a boutique hotel style. Great work!

Marc's place is just 30min away from Rhine water falls and his place is neat with all the facilities mentioned

Communication with Thomas was very easy and pleasant, he proactively checked in with me and made sure we had a nice stay. The apartment had everything we needed. The city center is just 5 minutes away by public transportation, while the forest is almost at your doorstep. We had a great time and will definitely come back!

We felt right at home from the beginning. Fresh linens + towels, so like at home. Without a car there is bad, it is bad because you are there for hiking.

Catia and Lukas are exceptional hosts. I had a hard time believing all the other reviews but they are all true to reality✨ The place is of a quality and cleanliness that I have never seen on Airbnb. Everything is thought out in every detail, the little touches, the decor, the quality bedding very comfortable, the walk-in for clothes, etc. We stayed with our 2 year old twins and were able to enjoy the sunny days in the garden or on foot in the neighborhood. The planes taking off and the cows were much appreciated 😉 The environment is quiet and peaceful except maybe the bell tower right in front that rings all day.. and all night (!!) but it's part of the charm of the place 🤭 Close to Zürich by car with parking right in front, that's perfect. Thanks again to Catia and Lukas for this warm welcome 😊

The apartment was very spacious, well equipped, clean and very close to the airport. The bus stop to the airport was a five minute ride and the actual stop was only 800 feet from the apartment. The host was very responsive, accommodating and friendly. It was great to be able to do some laundry before we flew home. There were several grocery stores very close to the apartment along with bakeries. I would definitely recommend staying apartment.

After 7 weeks in Europe, Malonda made our last day a very comfortable and functional departure lodging for a quick drive to ZRH!! She is a great host!! It was one of the best equipped lodgings during our whole time.

Had a wonderful stay here. The place is beautiful and feels very homey. The bed was especially comfy and the baby bed was one of the best we’ve had in an Airbnb or hotel. We really appreciated how family friendly it was. We loved our stay here and would definitely come back again!

A very spacious place, just a 10-minute train ride to the city center/Zurich Main Station and less than a 3-minute walk to supermarkets. Sergio was very responsive to any issues or questions—we got the missing shower gel resolved promptly the next day. Highly recommended!
