Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Schaffhausen District

Irene is friendly and accommodating. She allows us to check in earlier. Her place is cozy and kitchen is well-equipped. It is a very good choice to stay for visiting Rheinfall

Matthias' house is spacious, nicely decorated, and looks even better in real life than on the photos. It's situated a few mins walk from the forest, and many hiking trails which is a bonus for nature lovers like me. The Rhine Falls is also about 10 mins walk on foot from Neuhausen city center. Matthias is super friendly and easygoing, gives great advice and tips on the Schaffhausen area, hiking trails, things to do around. The kitchen, bathroom, washroom are very well equipped and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The room has a thermostat and you can control the temperature which was much appreciated, especially during the winter months. The nearest bus stop is 5 mins walk from the house which is convenient when getting to work or to the nearby shops. I had a pleasant stay and enjoyed my time at Matthias' house and I would definitely book again with him. You can't find a better spot in the Neuhausen, Schaffhausen, Rhein Falls area. Susanne ist eine sehr hilfsbereite Gastgeberin. Mein Mann hatte ca. 6 km vor unserem Ziel mit seinem Fahrrad einen Platten. Susanne hat uns schnell geholfen und eine Fahrradpumpe gebracht, damit wir weiterfahren können. Die Lage ist super für Radler und wenn man den Rheinfall sehen möchte.

Hübsche und gemütliche, ruhige Wohnung mit allem, was man braucht. Dazu eine unkomplizierte, freundliche und zügige Kommunikation. Herzlichen Dank für diese Unterkunft - ich komme gern wieder!

The room was clean and comfortable. Peaceful location walkable distance to the park and city center. Friendly host, even offering to prolong check out time for free for couple hours. Time of response was quick and clear. I would recommend this house for anyone.

Daniel is one of the coolest host I met. he is very friendly and supportive. I find him as a friend rather than host. I recommended to this place.

On nous avait recommandé ce logement et il était parfait pour notre séjour. Endroit calme, petit village avec commerce et transports publics. Vous pouvez laisser votre voiture devant la maison. Jolie découverte. Merci à Theresia et Martin pour ce petit endroit.

Eine schöne und liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung mit Terrasse, der Rheinfall ist fußläufig erreichbar. Sehr netter Kontakt mit den Vermietern, ich komme gerne wieder! :-)

I was delighted to return again. Christoph was super welcoming and helpful. As with last time, it was super clean. Several charming restaurants are nearby, but I also used the new kitchen to make a simple pasta one evening. With a pharmacy, Coop and Manor just 2 minutes walk (and the main station within 5 minutes) there many convenient amenities. This home is a perfect pied-à-terre while exploring Schaffhausen (and Neuhausen's Rhinefall is only a few stops away by bus or train)

Wonderful, atmospheric apartment in a quiet residential area. On a hilltop, so taking the bus (stop is around the corner) is clearly a necessity, but we did the return to the station on foot (~20 mins). It's her actual home - something very much appreciated! - where Sara has managed to decorate two bedrooms in a boutique hotel style. Great work!

Eine absolut tolle Location welche sofort ein Coming home Feeling vermittelt, keine Wünsche offen lässt und sehr sauber und äusserst gepflegt ist. Susanne ist eine sehr tolle und charmante Gasgeberin, welche sich mit maximalem Herzblut engagiert. Jederzeit und uneingeschränkt weiterzuempfehlen und gerne wieder !

Marc's place is just 30min away from Rhine water falls and his place is neat with all the facilities mentioned

Communication with Thomas was very easy and pleasant, he proactively checked in with me and made sure we had a nice stay. The apartment had everything we needed. The city center is just 5 minutes away by public transportation, while the forest is almost at your doorstep. We had a great time and will definitely come back!

Wir haben uns von Anfang an wie zuhause gefühlt. Frische Bettwäsche + Handtücher also wie zuhause. Ohne Auto dort ist schlecht, es sein denn man ist zum wandern dort.

Catia et Lukas sont des hôtes exceptionnels. J'avais du mal à croire tous les autres commentaires mais ils sont tous fidèles à la réalité✨ Le logement est d'une qualité et propreté que je n'ai jamais vu en Airbnb. Tout est pensé dans le moindre détail, les petites attentions, la déco, la literie de qualité très confortable, le walk-in pour les vêtements, etc. Nous avons séjourné avec nos jumeaux de 2 ans et avons pu profiter des beaux jours dans le jardin où à pied dans le quartier. Les avions qui décollent et les vaches ont été très appréciés 😉 L'environnement est calme et paisible à l'exception peut-être du clocher juste en face qui sonne toute la journée.. et toute la nuit (!!) mais cela fait parti du charme du lieu 🤭 À proximité de Zürich en voiture avec possibilité de se garer juste devant, c'est parfait. Merci encore à Catia et Lukas pour cet accueil chaleureux 😊

The apartment was very spacious, well equipped, clean and very close to the airport. The bus stop to the airport was a five minute ride and the actual stop was only 800 feet from the apartment. The host was very responsive, accommodating and friendly. It was great to be able to do some laundry before we flew home. There were several grocery stores very close to the apartment along with bakeries. I would definitely recommend staying apartment.

Dejlig lille lejlighed for 2 med en pragtfuld beliggenhed. Der er alt, hvad man behøver i lejligheden. Malonda er en meget smilende og omsorgsfuld vært, som endda tilbød at lave mad til os. Der er ca 50 trappetrin ned til lejligheden, så det skal man være opmærksom på. Det var ikke noget problem for os. Vi kommer gerne igen.

Super gelegene Wohnung für einen gemeinsamen Städtetrip 3er Freunde. Nur 200m von der Straßenbahn entfernt ist mit der ZÜRICH Card alles gut erreichbar und erkundbar. Restaurants mit einem guten Preis/Leistungsverhältnis sind fußläufig gut zu erreichen und nahe Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, die Küche und die Einrichtung in der Wohnung, geben auch die Möglichkeit selbst gemeinsame Mahlzeiten zu zubereiten. Die Terrasse oder auch der Esstisch vor dem Fernseher bieten sich für gemütliche gemeinsame Frühstücke, Abendessen und nette Gesprächsabende an. Das Doppelbett und die Schlafmöglichkeit auf der Coach waren komfortabel und dank dicker Wände und gut isolierter Fenster auch sehr ruhig. Ein extra zu bezahlender Parkplatz rundete den Aufenthalt ab, da Abstellmöglichkeiten in der Nähe auf öffentlichen Straßen kaum erkennbar oder nur weiter entfernt vorhanden waren.

Wonderful apartment in a great location, would definitely recommend. Lake Zurich is 1 minute walk, scenery is fantastic.

Had a wonderful stay here. The place is beautiful and feels very homey. The bed was especially comfy and the baby bed was one of the best we’ve had in an Airbnb or hotel. We really appreciated how family friendly it was. We loved our stay here and would definitely come back again!
