Loved our stay in Scarborough. A lovely, welcoming house in walking distance of the town and close to the North Bay. Anna sent clear instructions and left parking passes for our stay. We will be back!

Perfect little house for a stay, so close to the beach, shopping centre and the castle so we had a great weekend away! Nice and clean with everything you need.

1A is a credit to both Ian & Sarra. The property is perfect for 4 adults with each bedroom having it's own bathroom with another WC for emergencies downstairs! The presentation of the property is 1st class with you wanting for nothing. Ian & Sarra really have thought about everything. As an EV driver the ability to charge on site at anytime, at a very reasonable rate, was a bonus. The location was perfect for us, just a 10min stroll to the harbour providing your happy to tackle the Khyber Pass!.. a lot easier than the one in Pakistan!! We have no hesitation in recommending this property and it's location to anyone who wants a relaxing enjoyable stay in Whitby.

Wow! What an amazing place this is. Just as seen on the pictures. Beautifully furnished, the hosts have thought of everything you might need for your stay. The location is right on the beach with access to Filey and other places only a short drive away. Vanda is a great host. She was really flexible with our requests for extra time to check out and responds quickly. We will be back!

Great location! perfect for beach, dog walks and bus to Scarborough /Filey etc. if not driving. Caravan had everything we needed including dishwasher/air fryer/microwave and plenty of dishes/cups/glasses/ cutlery etc. Kim was a very responsive host. Situated near shop playground and pool it’s in ideal spot on the site. Car can be parked right across from caravan so easy to walk on grass to/from caravan.

This is a lovely historic cottage at the very bottom of the hill in Robin Hood’s Bay, so literally a stone’s throw from the slipway to the beach. Perfect location to explore this special little place. The cosy living room is well set out then the first floor has the main bedroom (with an antique bed) and a door out to the back area with the picnic table. Lovely to take in the views of the bay in the evening and morning. Top floor has a good shower room and a twin bedroom. Within two minutes of the front door are several nice cafes, shops, a good restaurant, a bookshop and the beach. Hard to beat for location. Walking up the hill is hard work, but you only need to do that if you’re heading off. We had a problem sorting out the right key for the back door and Gordon and the housekeeper sorted it out immediately. It passed my wife’s cleanliness test - a lot of places she cleans herself when we arrive, but no need here. It was spotless.

Great place to stay and Michael was very helpful with local knowledge and information. The Old Scalby Mill was great and only 5 mins walk. Bed was comfortable and pint of Milk in fridge and Coffee pods was a lovely touch. Thanks again.

The cottage is just lovely. It’s obvious that Lynne has thought about every detail. We felt at home immediately on arrival. Lynne took the trouble to contact me directly the day prior to my booking to welcome me and give check in & parking details. We had a wonderful time in this beautiful cottage which is in a prime location.

Maxine was extremely friendly throughout & check-in was seamless. The cottage is immaculate & parking was easy. Loads of games & dvds at the cottage to keep the kids entertained. Great location, with a small shop, pub, pharmacy & leisure centre nearby. Would definitely recommend!!

Wonderful place to relax with friends. Really enjoyed the terrace and the views. Comfortable beds. A very attractive holiday park estate with a great feel. So close to the beaches and beach cafe. Richard very responsive and helpful. A perfect week.

What a beautiful place to stay. We throughly enjoyed our stay, the hosts made everything so clear for us, the house was spotless we couldn’t fault it. It was the little things like having toys for the kids to play with was amazing and the coffee machine with pods was a welcome surprise. We couldn’t recommend this place highly enough, thank you!

The place was lovely, a short walk to the lovely beach was the main draw. A good location to explore nearby towns by car. The additional of the on site swimming pool was great. The house the comfortable and great space for the 4 of us. Andree was very friendly and knew if we needed anything we could get in touch. Thanks.

Everything was perfect! The cottage is cosy and had all the amenities needed. It was clean and just a 30min walk in to Whitby. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at the Photographer’s House! The home was well equipped, especially the kitchen, it had everything we needed to feel right at home. The beds were comfortable, and we really appreciated the lovely welcome basket, thank you. The view is stunning! We spent hours on the patio, soaking up the sunshine and taking it all in. The host, Ashley, was friendly and communicated clearly throughout, making everything smooth and stress-free. We’d love to come back again!

A brilliant stay for 10 of us, 6 adults and 4 children for my Mums’s soon to be 70th birthday. David was an excellent host, clear instructions and answered my parking queries ( ample parking!) Location, couldn’t have been better - 10 mins walk to the beach through Peasholm Park. The house was well equipped with everything from a fully stocked kitchen utensils plates etc, to a PlayStation and 2 boxes of toys for the young ones. Will definitely return and highly recommend.

We have just enjoyed a wonderful stay here as a family of 10 adults and 2 children under 5. The quality of the property and the internal decor was brilliant. We have stayed in large homes before where the plumbing has struggled or the sound proofing is an issue but this is by far the best. The home is tastefully decorated and exactly as described, the sheltered pergola over the seating area was a great touch and really useful to enjoy the lovely weather. The tv and games were all in great condition too. As hosts we found Rob to be very friendly and proactive, though we didn’t need anything during our stay as everything was readily available to us. Would stay again, thank you for a lovely trip

The place is in a fantastic location with beautiful views across the harbour. The rooms are spacious, clean and homely. Great pub The Cod and Lobster has a great selection of beers and a huge Gin list. The food there is fantastic and reasonably priced. We will be going back next year and looking forward to staying at the Old Watch House again!!

We’ve just had two nights here for my mother in laws 80th birthday. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us. The house was spotless upon arrival, very nicely decorated and has everything you could need. The hosts are great at communicating and recommending local places, we had a great meal at San Marco’s which was a 2 min walk. The location was great, just a short walk down to the beach, walking distance to the shops and restaurants and nice and peaceful. We would definitely come back again.

Absolutely amazing views of Whitby from lounge and bedrooms. Beautifully decorated. Had everything you could possibly want and was spotlessly clean.Perfect!

Beautiful home in Scarborough with all the facilities we needed. It’s in a great location as well, easily walkable to the beach! Mark was very helpful and communicative and we had no problems at all. Would definitely come back if we’re in Scarborough again!

Although Whitby is a maze of narrow streets, the instructions we were given made the property easy to find and there was space to park the car temporarily to load and unload. The recommended car park (with permit) was only a pleasant, short walk away. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated and furnished and lived up to the description provided. We could not have been more pleased. The cottage’s cleaner obviously takes a pride in making sure that guests cannot fail to be impressed as they walk through the door. The top floor balcony gives a lovely view of Whitby abbey on the hill above the town and a partial view of the harbour. A lovely spot for an early evening drink. There are quite a number of seagulls around, so we never are up there. The waterfront with lots of great restaurants is a short walk away. I would recommend the Magpie Cafe for a visit for dinner. The bus station is also close by. We used the bus extensively to explore the nearby coastal towns and villages.
