Beachfront holiday rentals in Scarborough

We have just returned from 3 lovely nights at the Garden Flat. The photos show you exactly what you're getting. Plenty of space for us 2 and our 4 legged pal. Spent a great couple of hours reading in the sun trap terrace which was for our use only and completely secure for our dog. would not hesitate to recommend and to stay here again.

Harry was the perfect host ! Even though we didn’t meet Harry , We was arriving earlier so asked if we could check in early and it was no problem at all !! The house was perfect for us all including the dog clear instructions on how the heating worked and to get in the property ! Very fast at replying to any questions we had ! Perfect location as it’s only 5/10 mins to the beach/front , We have a lovely New Year’s Eve with our family there in Harry’s lovely home ! Thank you so very much Harry

Really enjoyed our stay. Sandsend is a better choice for us than Whitby as it’s quiet, has a lovely beach and has great variety for places to eat out. Accommodation is great and all restaurants are easily walkable. Great place for dogs as the back garden is fully enclosed. Would definitely recommend this accommodation.

A fantastic stay at The Captain's Quarters . Easy to check in, find and very accessable to all aspects of Scarborough. We were attending a gig at the Spa so it was a perfect base! The View from the window is amazing. Watching the sea early morning to early evening was fabulous.

We loved our stay here as a family with two young children (toddler and under 1) and a dog. The location was perfect, with a short nip up the hill into town and so close to the beach. The house had everything we needed - Joe & Sarah made it very comfortable for us and easy to travel by providing a high chair and travel cot. Parking on the road (in June) was easy during the week, had to wait a little longer for a space close by at the weekend (but we always managed to get one). We hope to return when we visit Filey again.

Two families (4 adults, 3 older teens and 2 very well behaved dogs!) have just had an excellent Easter long weekend in this lovely terrace house. Ellie was a responsive and communicative host making everything very easy. We were touched by the breakfast items and chocolates left to welcome us - a thoughtful gesture! Accommodation was as pictured and described, the house is like a tardis inside - deceptively roomy and spacious! A very well equipped kitchen meant we could easily prepare, cook and eat together. Scarborough South Bay is easily walkable (downhill going but very much uphill coming back! ), the cliff top railway is close by and was working so we made use of that a couple of times, the Italian gardens are beautiful and worth investigating as you’re virtually on top of them. There is a Sainsbury’s local round the corner (very handy) and the Ramshill Hotel was welcoming to us and the dogs for a Saturday late afternoon drink. Would definitely recommend!

Very nice and cosy apartment with lots of space. It felt like home. We got a very sweet welcome letter with lovely flowers. Communication was always just perfect. Never had an host before who was so committed. it was a pleasure to talk to her. We got lots of useful infos and tipps for our stay. The apartment was clean and tidy. the location itself was perfect for us and there are enough restaurants for us and even a sunsbury was right not far away from us. Overall: highly recommended! A+

A lovely stay in Sue's pristine home, a stones throw from the cliffs and beachfront via an easy zig-zag path. Everything was perfectly clean and welcoming, Sue offered detailed and helpful instructions for checking in and left helpful info about the area. We appreciated the extra little touches that made the stay special - a truly lovely stay, and we look foreward to returning on our next visit!

From our first contact until checkout, Ben was so helpful and responsive. The caravan was spotless and had everything we needed for our holiday. The beds were very comfortable and the sofas were perfect for relaxing in the evening, watching TV. The kitchen had everything we needed, including a large fridge-freezer, and it even had an air fryer! Having a shop, restaurant and bar onsite was very handy. We loved that we could walk straight onto the beach, which was so clean and peaceful, well away from the hustle and bustle of Bridlington. The location was perfect for driving out to the coast for bird watching and to Bridlington for an RSPB boat trip to Bempton Cliffs - an experience not to be missed. The cliff walks were beautiful, helped by perfect weather. I would highly recommend Ben's caravan.

This cottage is perfect. We have been coming to the Bay for more than 10 years now and Jill's accommodation is as good if not better than all of them. The Suntrap patio is outside very private, the kitchen is a great size as are the bedrooms. Having 3 bathrooms is also a massive advantage. Taking all this into account plus the extremely competitive price, we will coming back very soon.

We've just returned from a lovely few days at kingfisher cottage. Jo was very helpful in giving us age appropriate recommendations for things to do in the area and allowed us to check in early which really helped in getting us settled for a nice relaxing break. The cottage is beautiful with nice homely touches, comfy beds and everything we needed. Thank you so much Jo. X

Spacious, clean well presented. Facilities were excellent. Great location for being close to all attractions in the area.

Great stay at Tickle Cottage. House had everything we needed. This was our 4th stay at The Bay and would definitely return to Tickle Cottage if we visit again.

We were with the grandchildren for 3 nights. The apartment was so handy to get into Scarborough. We went down the lift and arrived at the spa. Then there were a couple of cafes

Property was as described and in a great location. Lovely view of the sea, hosts were responsive and lots of recommendations in the house manual.

We had a lovely weekend at Jo's place. The location is perfect, walkable to the seafront, the castle and the town and the view from the top bedroom in particular was fabulous. The house is very well laid out and immaculate. The kitchen is very well stocked for cooking and also for socialising whilst eating. The beds were very comfortable and it was quiet. Jo had thought of every detail and the welcome pack was a real treat. Thank you Jo, I don't think this could have been any better.

Anne’s house is a fabulous place to stay. It’s exactly as described and pictured on the listing. We were a group of 9 golfers playing the local courses in the area and was a perfect place for our group. Just a few minutes walk to the beach in one direction and the town in the other. Set over 4 floors there is ample room for everyone in fact we didn’t even use some rooms over our 3 night stay. All showers worked well, plenty of hot water and powerful enough. I have no reservations in recommending this lovely house for a larger group of people. We did not actually speak with Anne but had no need to either as the place was perfect and spotless. If in the area again would definitely use this house.

Great stay and a lovely host. The apartment is lovely and large and the photos don’t do it justice. Just need to find a way to keep the seagulls quiet early in the mornings and it would be perfect! 😀

Very beautiful stay with an amazing location, about 15 minute easy walk down to the beach, grocery, pub, food all basically across the street.

Gill's place was perfect for our group of 6 for a long weekend. Everything is within a short walk and the listing is accurate. Gill sent clear instructions for check in / out and everything was straightforward. The house was well equipped and comfortable. We would stay again next time we visit Scarborough. Thanks Gill.
