We thoroughly enjoyed our stay which wished we could have been here longer. At first we thought the location was a bit off the beaten track but once there were blown away but the peace and quiet and beauty of the location in the middle of the woods. Both Slim and Alexa were very friendly and very helpful with tips etc. Internet connection was great too and well equipped studio. Thank you

This is a great place to stay if you want a slice of life in the picturesque village of South Freeport, Maine. It's a very private location, and convenient for taking walks down to the water and around the village. The Airbnb itself is comfortable, quiet, and well appointed.

The perfect spot for my husband and I and our 3 pups! There were more units but it was still preseason so we basically had the place to ourselves outside of the prep work that was happening to get ready for the summer season. The space was quiet, peaceful, and very comfortable… anything we wanted to do was only about a 10 minute drive away. We cooked a lot of meals in the kitchen and also enjoyed an evening sitting around the fireplace in the outdoor space. I can’t think of a single thing that we were missing! Would 100% stay here again!!

This was the perfect spot for a long weekend with friends and kids! The beach is just steps away, and we loved being slightly removed from the busier area near the pier — it made for a more relaxing stay. The apartment was incredibly comfortable, and the thoughtful touches like free coffee, muffins, and cinnamon rolls were much appreciated. The hosts went above and beyond by providing brand-new sand toys for the kids, which was such a kind gesture. Having a store right downstairs made grabbing anything we needed super convenient. It was an absolute pleasure staying here!

This was the perfect place for my bandmates and I to stay on our weekend trip to Brownfield. I only wish the venue we were playing had placed us there for the night after our performance as well! I will definitely stay here again if I am ever in the area. Thanks so much!

Wonderful place with exceptional hosts. The layout was perfect for our group of two adults and two kids. Easy 2 min walk to the beach. We all agree the best food we had on the trip came from the restaurant and shop downstairs and the best way to start our day was with a homecooked breakfast at Tami Lyns place. We hope to make this our yearly spot and would highly recommend and come again.

Ann was a terrific host. Everything was as described and she was so thoughtful. The breakfast food was not necessary, but very much appreciated.

Great little airbnb on the island. Private and easy to get to! Everything was clean and had the basic necessities. Would definitely visit again!

We came for a cozy ‘writer’s getaway’ vibe and the large windows, forest/mountain views, wood decor and very comfortable couches delivered. We were using this location as a base for hiking mt Washington. Amidst altering our plans for the weather, this provided the perfect level of relaxation to set us up to tackle the mountain the next day. For our uses the location was a little farther away but we opted for this as it had the vibes we were looking for. The host provided clear communication and was very easy to find. Would stay again for sure.

This location is nothing short of beautiful with plenty to do around Freeport and Portland. Kelly’s instructions were clear and we felt right at home during our visit

The place was great and clean and perfect location to walk into town. My only complaint is that it claims to have blackout shades and there were none. Some windows had bamboo shades that light comes through and some windows had nothing so not much privacy and up with the sun but the cottage is lovely. The chairs inside and the porch chairs not comfortable. Hilary was a fabulous host and communicated great!

This space was wonderful- bright and sunny, great location, nice size, felt private and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this to anyone who worries about being too noisy. I was traveling with 4 and 8 year old boys and we could relax and carry on as we do without worrying that we were disturbing other people. Everything was comfortable, in good condition and it was very easy to settle in and enjoy our trip! The washer and dryer was very nice to have, as well!

Tessa’s Airbnb was the perfect home-base for a weeklong Maine getaway! She was so hospitable in finding us a highchair prior to our arrival for our toddler. The location was a short walk to Perkins Cove which was great for afternoon walks to grab a bite to eat.

What a beautiful apartment nestled in the woods of Maine. Still close to the ocean and downtown Freeport. I was there in winter and it snowed. That made me appreciate the cozy comforter.

Already dreaming of returning ! Thank you so much for sharing your peaceful place with us . The bed was possibly the most comfortable in any airbnb I’ve stayed in . Place was immaculate and had everything you could possibly need . Bathroom felt spa like with an abundance of soft fluffy towels , hair shampoo , conditioner , fluffy rugs . Kitchen was very functional & we easily made our breakfast (thank you for the fresh eggs ) . Great place y disconnect but if you’re working on the go you’ll be able to do so comfortably here . Such warm & loving hosts . Our stay felt like a dream .

Awesome place, very nicely furnished, bed was super comfortable (thats important when its not your own bed!) Austin and Renee were very nice people, responsive and very helpful..plus, my dog LOVED the front yard, she was so joyous when we were outside...it was a big plus for her and i to have that run around safe space for her. Will definately be back next time i come up for work!!! Awesome hosts!

We had a great stay at the Barn'acle! Julia's home is located just a short walk from many great restaurants, cafes, and shops, as well as a quick drive from Wolfe's Neck Woods State Park and several other attractions. The space has recently been renovated and was very clean. We would love to stay there again next time we're in Freeport.

We loved staying at this mountain chalet! I loved that they used sustainable materials and foraged wood. It was very peaceful and beautiful. Town is about 11 min away and has everything for food and restaurants, etc. We look forward to staying again one day!
