House holiday rentals in Sao Vicente

The villa was beautiful - stunning location - and perfectly furnished. Lovely walk to Ponta do Sol village but the walk back is not for the faint hearted - Bolt is available :-) Whilst there were a few teething issues on arrival, Rita was super responsive and helpful in sorting any problems and our stay was great. It was a lovely stay in a stunning villa with amazing views and we would love to come back.

We felt very relaxed and comfortable at Antonio’s lovely house and the garden and views were impressive. We appreciated the interesting features in the garden with its nature feel and enjoyed the pool and sauna which we thought was a real asset for the place. The house is interesting and cared about and Antionio was an excellent and helpful host. We were glad of the car we hired to access shops, restaurants, beach and walking areas as without one would be difficult but it suited us really well as 4 adults who wanted a base from which to explore Madeira.

The accommodation is great, everything as described and in the photos. It is a bit dated, but we felt very comfortable there. Bruno gave us a very warm welcome and showed us everything we needed to know. When there was a problem with the water pump on the second day, he sorted it out very quickly. We can highly recommend the accommodation.

Overall 10/10. Nice place, everything as described and one of the best places we rented.

Pedro is the best thing about this place the man is a legend really kind and helpful goes over and beyond. The place is so nice pool is amazing with fantastic views. I can not fault the place. Over three floors we had 12 people in it and didn’t feel cramped. Book this place you will not regret it

We really enjoyed the accommodation! (family of 6 people) This one is well located, a beautiful view, very peaceful and private place. It is very well equipped, heated pool (for €30/day), barbecue available, very spacious and clean. Which makes it a great value. We recommend it!

The space was beautiful. We loved the decor and the large doors that brought brightness with a view of the beautiful courtyard with the pool. We were very well received by a very good host. What a nice touch! Susana also gave us several restaurant recommendations and the communication was excellent. It took 8 minutes to get to the city center. We found all the essentials to cook well. The accommodation was clean, but I can't ignore the shower. There was mold and personally, despite the scent that had been added, I found the smell of dampness and mold unpleasant. Everything else was impeccable!

We had a great stay at Jorge’s place. Beautiful views and the house had everything we needed. Jorge was fantastic host with loads of recommendations and also communication before, during and after our trip. The house was in great location for amazing local hikes, the beach, as well as the natural pools at Porto Moniz.

We just finished 2 magical days at Patricia’s home and cannot say enough incredible things of her place. The house itself is BEAUTIFUL, with an amazing pool and jaw dropping views. In addition to this she was so accommodating to us and made sure we were comfortable the entire time!!! Uber’s and Bolt’s are easy to call and extremely affordable. We did not want to leave and are already planning our next trip to her home!!

We had an amazing time at this beautiful apartment. Every morning, waking up to the stunning views over Funchal and the ocean was a real treat. The apartment itself is stylishly designed and as someone who appreciates architecture and interior design, this apartement is a great choice.

Scott’s place is a great place, not only because the back porch gave an EXCELLENT view, but there was a bus stop right outside the gate! Waking up and coming back to the gorgeous ocean view made our stay worth every penny!

Carla was a wonderful host! She provided detailed instructions, was responsive to our questions, and the apartment was very well appointed. The kitchen had everything you could need! Enjoying coffee on the deck, overlooking the water, was an unforgettable experience.

We absolutely LOVED our stay here! The house is extremely clean and matches the pictures perfectly. We even had freshly stocked groceries when we arrived which was a huge plus after 3 long flights. This location is so close to many delicious restaurants and the beach. We absolutely loved the pool and sun bed. 10/10 recommend!!! We already want to plan another trip back 🩷 THANK YOU!

Absolutely loved our stay here for the week! We loved the ability to walk into town and grab food at any time. We found a number of great restaurants! We also loved being within the energy of the town of Camara De Lobos. It was very warm, welcoming, and vibrant. We loved the home and felt it was clean, beautiful, and the perfect opportunity to slow down life and enjoy the sound of the ocean. The breeze was able to keep us cool (mid February visit for us), the sound of the ocean helped us drift off peacefully, and we enjoyed the opportunity to lounge in the sun on the many decks available. Parking was simple and free right around the house. We had very prompt communication and felt very supported. Overall the location was a great spot to adventure to the rest of the island. If we ever return to Madeira this is where we will be staying!

Svenja and Sanjay met us at a nearby business so we could follow them to the house. It’s a little tricky to find if you don’t know the way. They gave us a complete tour of the Casa Verde and gardens. They even left some food for us to make a simple meal. They were so kind and welcoming. The views from the house are stunning and the gardens are beautiful. They gave us a list of recommendations and were always quick to respond when we had a question.

Clean. Cute decor. Epic view. Provided sufficient towels, kitchen spices, oil and vinegar. Hot water was abundant. No window coverings. Bring eye mask. Lumpy and sloped mattress in main bedroom. Could be a quite a walk from parking especially in high season as you have to park further and further. No toaster. Oven works, it just takes a lot longer. Lighting is a mixed bag. Some stark blue fluorescent, some warm. Poor lighting in bathrooms. Lots of little flies that swarm in a circle inside if you have the doors open. No fans.

Beautiful, newly renovated place. Pleasing and soothing colors. Fabulous view and ocean sound. Excellent water pressure (best shower of the four places we stayed!) and very comfortable bed. Like so much of Portugal, narrow and somewhat steep stairs, but not problematic. Easy walk to market and restaurants. Short drives (20 minutes) to lots of hiking, and about a 35 minute drive to Funchal. We had a great time here, and highly recommend for a couple!

If you want a more authentic/meet friendly local farmers/quiet and extremely awesome host experience. This is it !!! Seriously never encountered a more welcoming experience. The eggs, the cake and fruit that welcomed us was amazing and unexpected. The cleanliness and washer / dryer and all the needed details were covered. This is my favorite air bnb ice ever stayed in! The house is wonderful and the bed is comfy. The pool and the views were out of this world! It was so nice to drink morning coffee and look at the ocean and the mountains. Sophia, who takes care of the grounds and cleaning, was so kind and helpful! The fridge was stocked with eggs, fruits, and cheese and there was a fresh bread delivery every morning. Sophia even did our laundry for us. It was the best stay ever and there are delicious restaurants within walking distance. I had a tricky time getting into the property because my cellphone didn’t have service and I couldn’t connect to the WiFi because I wasn’t in range. So I couldn’t use the app on my phone to get in. The host was very responsive and let me in and I was able to use the house key for the remainder of the trip. Definitely book this place, you’ll love it!

We loved our stay. It felt like our own peaceful oasis, with a stunning view of the ocean and Funchal. Patricia was a great host and we loved chatting with her dad too. Walking distance to Funchal, with great restaurant recommendations from Patricia. Would definitely come back!
