Holiday rentals with a pool in São Simão

Couldn’t have been more perfect for us. Everything was well thought through and Diogo was exceptional as a host, even assisting us when we had lost some headphones! Very grateful we found this place and perfect for exploring Comporta and surroundings

We can highly recommend this accommodation! The house with the pool, great rooms and bathrooms as well as lounges was just wonderful. Everything has been thought of in the furnishings and equipment. We loved everything about this house! The sunset in the nearby lagoon made the stay perfect. Mafalda is a great host and communication was always friendly and extremely helpful. We had a gorgeous stay here with our toddler. The house had everything we needed for traveling with a child and was complete with toys, beach going needs like towels, umbrellas, and beach toys, as well as a crib and high chair. We borrowed their bikes and explored town and loved visiting the gelato place that’s around the corner. At night, we listened to the frogs in the rice paddies behind the house and loved watching the bird life during the day. Getting to the beach was quick and easy and we spent two days there. We enjoyed staying at this house.The decor is beautiful—stylish but still super cozy—and you can tell a lot of thought was put into how the space is set up. The beds were comfy, which made it easy to relax and get a good night’s sleep. One of our favorite parts was the outdoor area. Having both a barbecue and a fire pit made it perfect for spending evenings outside, grilling food, chatting, and just enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The kitchen was also well stocked with all the utensils and tools we needed, which made cooking meals easy and enjoyable. The location couldn’t be better,just a short drive to some of the most beautiful beaches in Comporta, and close to amazing restaurants. Guillerme was a fantastic host. He gave us super clear instructions before check-in, shared great local recommendations, and checked in with us during our stay to make sure everything was going smoothly. He was always quick to reply if we had any questions, which made the experience even better.

Amazing place, the view is so incredible, we spent a really great time at the villa, it is peaceful, beautiful and private! If I come back to Portugal I would definitely want to come back! Thank you again for everything!

Paula was amazing, so helpful, went over and beyond to help us and provide us with lots of info. So friendly, offered to book restaurants for us etc The house is fabulous better than the pictures for location and peacefulness . Swimming pool was lovely all the outside sofas. The view of the mountains was just wonderful. You need a car to drive to village, best village is azetitio, lovely restaurants and shops. Great local cafe and very reasonable compared to london prices. We drove to different places and different beaches. Loved Lisbon 44 mins away. Cascais was a pretty town but too touristy. Comporta was amazing, super special, wonderful place to eat and unusual shops. We drove to it 1hour but you. A get a ferry from Setabul €35 for three people. Thank you Paula for a great stay.

If you want a real local Sintra experience then this is your place. Charming house with a lot of character, charm and history. We were a group of 6 and cooked in for dinner 2 of the three nights. Very close to town center for walking. It’s a very hilly town so if you like walking it’s great for you. Maria could not have been nicer.

A great house in a perfect location - a quick drive away from carvahal and pegos beaches. We extended our stay in Comporta on a whim, and Margarida was super responsive and lovely about accommodating a last minute request. Everything in the house was perfectly clean, the kitchen spotless with coffee and wine ready for us! The back area has a lovely pool with outside seating to hang out. We loved the outdoor shower! A perfect spot to vacation!

We had a great time at Rose’s apartment. It is a very nice spot to explore Lisbon from.

Great stay! The host kindly allowed early check-in, which was a big help after a long flight with kids. The apartment was spacious, cozy, and well-equipped. We loved being within walking distance of shops and main attractions in Cascais. The road in front can be a bit noisy at night if the windows are open (especially for light sleepers). Note: there’s a €4/day per person tourist tax mentioned in the listing—just something to keep in mind as this can be overlooked. Thanks for a lovely stay!

The apartment is perfect for a visit to Lisbon in the summer. Having access to the pool after the long hilly walks makes it a great place to stay. The apartment was well located to walk for food/drink etc . It is up a hill but so is most of Lisbon. Apartment had everything we needed and Natacha was extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely stay here, the apartment was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. August and Teresa were fantastic hosts making sure we were okay and gave us recommendations. The pool was a real bonus, especially on warm days and when the beaches were busy. It’s also in a great location for exploring the area, with easy access to both Lisbon and Cascais. Would happily recommend!

Very cozy apartment. Impeccably clean space with everything you needed. The contact was direct with D. Sidónia, who was very helpful, very attentive and very friendly. Very close to the beach, although with a baby, going by car is more comfortable since the apartment is in a higher area. Pool in very good condition, with sun loungers available and very calm. Quiet nights without noise in the building.

João and Raquel were great hosts! The apartment was super nice and the checkin and checkout process was easy.

This was a great spot for a first visit to both Cascais & Portugal. Everything was walkable, but peaceful. Downtown Cascais (25 min walk) is pretty, but busy even in late May so (boring that I am) I was glad to be farther away. The winner was the green view from the balcony every morning with coffee. The swing chair was a big hit with the teenage kids. The other winner is the ocean side walk nearby...straight to Cascais or minutes to Giua cafes & restaurants which offer some extraordinary outdoor eating venues ($$). Also Cafe Ophelia nearby was sweet. The green space out back & the pool will no doubt work well for younger kids. Maria was a very friendly & engaged host. Tip: Lidl grocery store is an easy 8 min walk & carries a surprising array of good quality, cheap fresh baked breads & sweet pastries.

Great place, with fantastic view of the castle, big clean pool, close to the beach. We had great holidays with friends.

Bernardo and Maria's place was a perfect getaway for ours girls trip. It was peaceful and spacious and we could get into the centre of Lisbon easily with Ubers. The pool was amazing and was a big highlight of our stay! Great sized rooms and bathrooms, lovely patio, really suitable for a group holiday, would highly recommend!

What a joy it is to stay here in this beautiful corner of Portugal. Pictures do not do justice to the beautiful home and its surrounding property. We were in Sintra for our son’s wedding and our hosts could not have been more flexible and helpful. Your hospitality made this trip complete.

We had an incredible stay at Susan's property. The former caretakers house was immaculate. Super clean, super comfortable, and included wonderfol amenities. Susan was the perfect hostess and incredibly generous and caring to ensure we had a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the pool, walking through the fruit trees, and using the BBQ. The property is truly special and we are so grateful we had a chance to stay there and experience it.

This place was perfect for what we were looking for. We needed somewhere that could accommodate 9 of us, 6 adults and 3 children under 3. The house itself was beautiful, very tidy and had so much space. The hosts Ana and Nuno had thought of the children and provided us with cots, high chairs, children’s dinnerware, and even things for the children to play with. The swimming pool was gated off as described. The location felt really private and quiet, with beautiful views of the sea. We were able to walk down to the local shops and beach of Praia das Maçãs, so we didn’t need to hire a car. Ana was so friendly and helpful before and during our stay. We had such a lovely time here, and would love to come back one day.

Casa Laranja is a lovely house close to lively Cascais, not far from Lisbon. The accommodations were spacious and well maintained. The host was flexible allowing us to change the number in our party and provided early access to the house. The house is used as both an Airbnb and bed and breakfast. Consequently the kitchen has limited items found in a typical Airbnb such as spices and condiments and charges for laundry. On the other hand there are hotel type robes provided and daily housekeeping. We used the fantastic heated pool every day! Note - if you are allergic to cats the house may not be for you as there are two cats who make themselves at home on the outdoor patio.

The place was absolutely wonderful — clean, comfortable, and full of charm. João went above and beyond to make sure we felt completely at home. Every detail was thought of, and his care truly made our stay perfect. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful honeymoon in the small windmill, absolutely suitable for couples. After a short panic, because I said no longer get the bathroom door open (you also have to push it when you open it), we were able to absolutely enjoy the sunset from the treehouse:) Especially the garden is really beautiful and enchanted, a bit like in the fairytale. Only the pool area could be made a little more welcoming. We would definitely recommend it and wish we could have spent even more time there, but Lisbon also wanted to be explored.
