We loved our stay at this charming farm! The beauty and tranquility of this place is beyond words. The houses on the farm are beautifully decorated and the host was super welcoming. The highlight of our stay was definitely the chance to disconnect from daily life and simply enjoy nature. We visited the nearby villages and hiked to the top of the Serra da Estrela, which was an unforgettable experience. We spent our days exploring the vast lands and admiring the stunning views of the surrounding countryside. In the evenings, we kicked back in the hammocks, enjoying the mountain breeze and the sound of birds chirping in the distance. The local cheese was a real treat, it was one of the tastiest cheeses I've ever had! All in all, our stay at this farm was an experience we will never forget. We returned home feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. I would highly recommend this farm to anyone looking for a natural getaway. Thank you so much for sharing your little slice of paradise with us!

Space super clean and welcoming, quiet area. Mr. Ricardo was very attentive waiting for us to check in after the agreed time due to an unforeseen situation with our daughter. The house was super well equipped and we were offered coffee for the machine, which we appreciate! Super recommend it!

We had an amazing time at Fernando’s place! The scenery is beautiful and the house was perfect for the relaxing trip we were hoping for! The locals in Valhelhas are so friendly and fun to be around. Our stay in this small village was fantastic! We can only recommend Fernando’s place!

Mr. Carlos received us very well! Super friendly, showed the whole area along with the activities included in the stay! We also get to know local restaurants as well as activities to be carried out in the area! We love and plan to return in a short time!

An excellent stay, couple and two children plus a dog... huge space for everyone, beautiful and well treated... nothing was missing in the house, everything you need is equipped and utensils for everything, huge loungers, swings and the dog can walk around without a problem, even for those who want to have a large Pet ZONE and can lock the dog there if they don't want to let it walk around, it wasn't our case but if necessary even that detail is there. I recommend it

This appartment is very spacious with 3 bedrooms. Fully furnished and a big covered balcony. There is street parking ($) if you need and it is not expensive. As the appartment is on a hill, you have to be prepared to walk up and down! Close to grocery store and lots of restaurants.

Bucolic and isolated site with its own access to the clean water stream. At the end of the day, two Serra da Estrela probably attracted by the smell of the barbecue 😆

Absolutely lovely! The apartment, patio, pool, and gardens felt like a little slice of paradise. The housekeeper, Rosie, went above and beyond to make us feel at home. She brought out toys for our daughter and invited us to have fruits from the garden. Thank you, Rosie!

Everything was perfect even the small details. We felt like we were in a 5 star hotel. The inside and outside of the property were really well maintained and the swimming pool was an added bonus in a hot sun weather’sday! Incredible stay at Pedro’s place. Pedro was wonderful, helpful and very responsive. He gave us great recommendations and was extremely kind. The place was incredible. It is about a 30-40 minute drive from Coimbra. Our babies loved the donkeys and dogs on the property. Would absolutely stay again!

Julien and his team created a wonderful place of peace here, with a lovely team and beautiful atmosphere. Everyone is welcome, it's paradise for both, adults & kids. People with dogs also find the perfect place to stay here. Optional breakfast and dinner felt like coming together at a friend's house. We loved it! Great stay (apart from the weather). The hosts and Ms. Isaura did everything to make the stay pleasant and family-friendly. A big thank you to them and it is with great pleasure that we will return. For a first experience, we are delighted.

Casa de Manteigas is a perfect base to explore the fabulous Serra Da Estrela. Deceptively spacious, very comfy bedrooms and plush new bathrooms. The balcony means that you can sit outside with a glass of wine or a cup of tea and enjoy views over the village. We would highly recommend and plan on returning.
