We had a great stay at this place! The location is ideal – just outside the city center, but easily accessible with a nice (but very steep) 30 minute walk. In the immediate vicinity there is a well-stocked supermarket and a great fruit and vegetable shop where you can shop at local prices – quite unlike the overpriced prices in the market hall of Funchal. There is also one of the best bakeries in the city nearby – a real highlight! The property itself is top equipped, clean and offers stunning views over the harbor and parts of the city with its terrace. Throughout the day you can enjoy sun, including fantastic evening sun. A perfect place to relax – we'd love to come back!

We loved our stay in Antonio’s apartment. It was extremely clean and spacious and had everything we needed and then some. It even had a parking garage for our car. I appreciated that Antonio provided plenty of coffee, soap, shampoo and even laundry detergent. That was really nice and convenient. I loved sitting on the deck overlooking the gorgeous ocean view drinking my coffee or sipping a glass of wine. It was so relaxing! I highly recommend booking Antonio’s place. He is a superb, kind host and will go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and happy.

Manny and his son met us in the evening to welcome us to the apartment and run through the equipment and everything that we might need over our stay. The apartment was a ' breath of fresh air'...quiet and cool with the fantastic balcony....but less than 2 minutes to all the places of interest shops bars etc .. Ir was my first Airbnb abroad and others will have a lot to live up to! Manny checked in...but gave us privacy and the chance to unwind...canm0t recommended it too highly!

Great place! Stayed here as a group and had the best time. Great location, stunning views from the patio. Walkable but not directly in the mix of the city. Easy check in & check out. Clean!! Would highly recommend.

We had the best stay at the apartment and it was better than we could have asked for! Very spacious and peaceful and has everything you could need. Mariana was lovely showing us around the complex and let us check in a little early as well as provided us with suggestions for restaurant and things to do in Madeira. She was always available if we had questions. The apartment itself was stunning and modern with a large balcony and view over the pool and ocean. Very clean and spacious throughout and faultless. We are already planning our next trip to Madeira and will definitely be staying here again!!

Betty is the top host! She welcomed us with open arms. Very fast to respond, friendly and helpful! We were able to check out in the afternoon and enjoyed our last lunch at home before leaving for the airport. The view of the mountains is breathtaking at day and night time. The apartment is absolutely huge. It was our 3rd visit to Madeira with our elderly mum. She got beautiful bedroom with en suite bathroom and walk in shower. Betty also got an armchair for mum so she could relax on the balcony. We had such a comfortable and great stay! highly recommended!

Miguel’s place was perfect! The apartment looks exactly like the photos. It was clean and well equipped. The view is unbeatable, and the outdoor space was such a nice addition. Miguel is incredibly friendly, responsive and helpful. I highly recommend staying at his place!

We had a great stay in Madeira and the apartment was fantastic, located overlooking the sea, next to a shopping centre and restaurants but away from the bustle of centre of town The instructions were clear and helpful and they provided a really helpful guide to the Island. Maria also was very responsive on messaging and when we had a Wi-fi issue got somebody to sort it very quickly We would certainly return and have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to anybody else

What a wonderful place to stay and for us perfect location to explore beautiful Madeira. 6 of us stayed for 1 week, the accommodation was perfect with various areas to spread out. We spent most of our evenings around the pool side, playing games and soaking up the views. The home has everything a family would need to enjoy your stay. Local shops, cafes and restaurants 10min walk up hill. Fully recommend if you are able to take a 1 day jeep tour of the island as Madeira has some spectacular scenery, valleys, mountains, villages and locations to explore. Contact with the host was effortless and always quick with responding. We loved our stay.

Everything you needed was there. The accommodation is stylish and clean. The host was always available and quick to respond.

The house was a wonderful place for us and our family. Plenty of room and the kitchen was very well equipped. The view was spectacular and the pool and patio were an excellent spot to relax.

We had a lovely stay in a beautiful, pristine, peaceful home. Well equipped kitchen. Maria has thought of everything. The outside space was really great, plenty of space to enjoy the pool along with the outside kitchen BBQ. We walked to the botanical gardens which was 10 minutes away. Two small supermarkets and bakery 3 minutes walk from the house. We walked in Funchal several times and caught a taxi home. Lovely climate and beautiful surroundings.

We really enjoyed the accommodation! (family of 6 people) This one is well located, a beautiful view, very peaceful and private place. It is very well equipped, heated pool (for €30/day), barbecue available, very spacious and clean. Which makes it a great value. We recommend it!

An absolutely stunning space. Janine was incredibly helpful and proactive with setting us up with detailed instructions on how to access everything along with local recommendations. The location was perfect and the space had everything we needed to relax and enjoy beautiful sunsets over the Atlantic after the days hikes. Truly a dream airbnb for peace, tranquility, and amazing beauty. We cant rave about this place enough. So grateful for its existence.

Our stay at Jorge’s place was fantastic and we would highly recommend it to any active travellers. The accommodation was just perfect. We felt safe, comfortable and relaxed when there, although we were mostly out exploring the wonderful island. The parking can be tricky but if you were like us and out from 5am and back at 3pm, parking was never an issue, although tight spaces (I recommend getting a small hire car!). 30-40 minute walk to the centre of Funchal and 15-20 bars on the way! The local bars and restaurants were all good but our favourites were Horta and Mau Fetitio if you want excellent food and service. We wanted to go to Il Basilica but they were fully booked most nights. The day trip to Porto Santo is great, very worthwhile and very relaxing but not a lot going on. We went to Pe Na Agua which was really good. Hiring e-bikes is highly recommended. The mountains reputations speak for themselves. Parking at Arieiro gets busy from 5am and costs €20 for the day. Plan well.

The beautiful location was a real highlight, boasting amazing sea views from the balcony that we enjoyed every single day. The lovely swimming pools on site were a fantastic bonus, perfect for a refreshing dip. Our hosts, Mariana and Ricardo, were so welcoming and helpful, always on hand to answer any questions and offer local tips. The great wifi was a practical plus, and we loved that the apartment was within walking distance to the main shops, making everything so convenient. The apartment was perfect for our family, a great base to explore the island. Well equipped for a family though we only used for breakfast, eating out in the many local restaurants . The bakery downstairs is fabulous , serving breakfast, lunch and snacks..

We stayed for a week with 4 people in a very nice apartment. We enjoyed the 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Ideal for 2 couples. We highly recommend this clean and tastefully decorated accommodation. Impeccable apartment, very clean and consistent with the description. The terrace is simply magnificent, with a beautiful view. Everything is well arranged, you feel comfortable right away. We are delighted with our stay – a real pleasure from start to finish!
