We had a great stay at this place! The location is ideal – just outside the city center, but easily accessible with a nice (but very steep) 30 minute walk. In the immediate vicinity there is a well-stocked supermarket and a great fruit and vegetable shop where you can shop at local prices – quite unlike the overpriced prices in the market hall of Funchal. There is also one of the best bakeries in the city nearby – a real highlight! The property itself is top equipped, clean and offers stunning views over the harbor and parts of the city with its terrace. Throughout the day you can enjoy sun, including fantastic evening sun. A perfect place to relax – we'd love to come back!

Ideally located accommodation for hiking at the tip of San Lourenço, the environment is very quiet. You can go to town on foot. The apartment is clean and well-equipped. The mattress and pillows are very hard!

It has been sometime since I stayed in a real home-y and cosy house like Betty's. Our whole group (two families with small children ) was very pleasantly surprised by this beautifully decorated home. There were many essentials as well as some offerings by the host readily available. The location(although not very close to the historic center) is fantastic as it is possible to walk to some famous rock pools and a beach, as well as many restaurants, a mall and a supermarket. Would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat.

Mannys place is a fantastic find. Manny was the best host I’ve ever come across, extremely responsive, kindly let us drop our bags before check in time as we had an early flight arrival, he even left some local delicacies for us. The place itself is in a fantastic location, right in the centre so you can walk everywhere yet it was still quiet and peaceful. If we visit Madeira again we’ll definitely return. Just amazing accommodation! Same as in the photos! Very quiet and peaceful. Really very nice host. It is located in a small village about 30 minutes from Funchal and close to everything by car. The place is wonderful for resting. We'll be back.

upon arrival we were very well received by Ana. She explained everything to us and we were even able to arrive a little early at the apartment. She gave us tips for sightseeing, dining, and also told us the nearest supermarket. Ana was at her best!!! The apartment is perfect, there is everything you need even more than we imagined. Thank you for everything! We were able to fully enjoy this beautiful island. And Gabriel spent almost all his evenings in the pool 😄 thank you again from all 3 of us

We spent a month in the apartment and felt at home right from the start. The interior is stylish and decorated with great attention to detail, and the view over Funchal is simply fantastic – especially in the mornings and evenings, a real highlight. The location is excellent – it’s easy to get everywhere, yet pleasantly quiet. The apartment is very well equipped – absolutely nothing is missing. It was also ideal for working: we worked remotely for two weeks, handling large amounts of data, and the internet was absolutely reliable and fast. Miguel is a fantastic host – warm, helpful, and always available. He proactively gave us many great tips and took care of everything with genuine attention. We can wholeheartedly recommend the apartment – and Miguel as a host. Thank you for the wonderful time, Miguel – and hopefully see you again soon!

We enjoyed a beautiful house in a unique location by the sea. With all the amenities you need and more!

The accommodation is great, everything as described and in the photos. It is a bit dated, but we felt very comfortable there. Bruno gave us a very warm welcome and showed us everything we needed to know. When there was a problem with the water pump on the second day, he sorted it out very quickly. We can highly recommend the accommodation.

A lovely property with a beautiful view in a quiet and peaceful part of the island. Jose was very kind and super accommodating to a last minute change we required. We had a wonderful time!

Pedro is the best thing about this place the man is a legend really kind and helpful goes over and beyond. The place is so nice pool is amazing with fantastic views. I can not fault the place. Over three floors we had 12 people in it and didn’t feel cramped. Book this place you will not regret it

An all-round successful stay – we couldn't have asked for a better host! He was super friendly, always available and provided us with many great tips. Communication was smooth and each of our wishes were fulfilled. The place itself was a dream: very spacious, beautifully decorated, with a great view and a magnificent pool. An absolutely stunning space. Janine was incredibly helpful and proactive with setting us up with detailed instructions on how to access everything along with local recommendations. The location was perfect and the space had everything we needed to relax and enjoy beautiful sunsets over the Atlantic after the days hikes. Truly a dream airbnb for peace, tranquility, and amazing beauty. We cant rave about this place enough. So grateful for its existence.

We had a wonderful week in Madeira, which was mainly due to this great accommodation. We traveled as a group of five, four adults and our almost three-year-old son. Yes, the accommodation is very close to the airport's runway, but that didn't bother us at all. On the contrary, for our son it was an absolute highlight every time a plane arrived. The accommodation is super located in our view. A state-of-the-art supermarket is located directly opposite, where you can find everything your heart desires. The airport is only 3 minutes away; one of the few sandy beaches in Madeira (located in Machico) can be reached in just 5 minutes by car; Funchal is 20 minutes away; Pico de Arieiro is 30 minutes away. The hosts are super warm and there is nothing missing there. The accommodation actually looks exactly like the pictures, fantastically beautiful. All in all, a perfect 10 out of 10!

We absolutely loved our stay. The seaside view is incredible and relaxing. We loved the access to grocery and restaurants right nearby and it was nice to be close but not right in Funchal with the crowds. Mariana was the best - met us for check in to show us around and sent lovely recommendations for our stay. We loved cooking at the apartment and listening to the sound of the waves. Don’t hesitate, you won’t regret booking this lovely condo!

We loved our week at Nuno's place! The apartment was lovely and bright, we loved to soak in the sun on the terrace. Nuno is very caring host :) Madeira's air is wonderful, and with the terrace door open, the apartment was always filled with fresh air- so good to sleep like that. The terrace is not too windy as well! Just the perfect breeze blowing by. Definitely would recommend the apartment!

Well located accommodation. Small supermarket and bakery very close. As well as restaurants where you could eat. Everything available for a carefree holiday. Airport and Funchal are less than a 15-minute drive away.

Very clean apartment in a great location close to the grocery store and the beach. Great view over the water. Really nice large patio with furniture in the back of the apartment as well as a little balcony looking towards the water. Street parking is a little tricky if the beach is really busy, be prepared to walk up some hills. Tiago even put together a list of recommendations for the island. We had a great stay!

We stayed for a week with 4 people in a very nice apartment. We enjoyed the 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Ideal for 2 couples. We highly recommend this clean and tastefully decorated accommodation. We enjoyed the individuality of the apartment and the outdoor space . It is up a hill but all good exercise ! The bus stop for the ride to Monte Palace Gardens is close by and makes a lovely day out . Carlos is welcoming and the apartment is lovely and clean .

We really enjoyed our stay here. The view was beautiful and we loved being able to sit on the balcony and listen to the waves. The apartment had everything we needed and was a perfect home base. The host checked us in and walked us through the apartment to show us how things worked which was great. The location was not super walkable to restaurants and such for my parents due to the steep hills, but it wasn't an issue for us and the beach path was great to walk in the evenings. Definitely recommend.
