The stay was beautiful and a nice quiet environment. Not at all touristy and unspoiled. You definitely need a car.

We had a gorgeous stay here with our toddler. The house had everything we needed for traveling with a child and was complete with toys, beach going needs like towels, umbrellas, and beach toys, as well as a crib and high chair. We borrowed their bikes and explored town and loved visiting the gelato place that’s around the corner. At night, we listened to the frogs in the rice paddies behind the house and loved watching the bird life during the day. Getting to the beach was quick and easy and we spent two days there. Martim’s cabana overlooking Portinho da Arrábida is truly something special! Nestled in a private garden filled with flowers, fruit trees, and so many butterflies, the cabana has breathtaking views of both the mountains and the sea. It feels like your own little sanctuary in nature. And if you feel like a swim, the beach is just a short walk below. The house itself is spotless and beautifully decorated with a mix of cozy country cottage charm and nautical touches. I especially loved how you can open all the windows and enjoy seamless indoor-outdoor living. There is so much light and fresh air throughout! I appreciated that the layout gives everyone a bit of privacy, and the beds and linens were incredibly comfortable. Martim and his brothers were so warm, responsive, and helpful. They really made us feel at home. Thank you for such a relaxing and special birthday trip!

With these two negative points, limited parking options and busy noisy street, the apartment was perfect. Great location and tastefully decorated. If we didn’t have appointments at some wineries that were 30 or more minutes away we would not have needed a car, it would be a 10 out of ten.

10/10! The host was very pro active and the house was perfect. We had an incredible weekend at the house where we highly enjoyed the pool and the whole garden with it's amenities like the bbq and table tennis. Highly recommend this place if you want an authentic, yet luxurious place for a bigger group that wants to spend some quality time together in the sun.

You honestly have to see it to believe it! The house is such a treasure. We stayed as a family of five, 3 boys ages 9,5 and 4 years old. They did not want to leave :) João was an exceptional host and went beyond to be sure we had everything we needed! Great restaurants just a few minutes walk away and supermarket 5 minute drive away

We spent a few days at Alexandra’s place and it was exactly as described if not even more. Extremely well equipped house in a stunning location. We spent days swimming in the ocean, nights admiring the night sky which is stunning in Porto Covo. The house itself is super cool yet very practical. We really loved our stay!

This apartment was very comfortable, and it was a great location. Check in and check out were also very easy, and the apartment was extremely clean. There was an issue with the hot water, but the hosts fixed it immediately. The hosts were very communicative as well. I definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay in Lisbon. The home was beautiful and comfortable. The hosts were incredibly communicative and responsive. Bruno sent many personalized recommendations based on our interests. Having the pool was incredible after long day of sight seeing. Private, quiet, but also steps away from great restaurants and landmarks. Don’t hesitate to book!

An absolute gem! The view is breathtaking! Airbnb is equipped with everything you need! Petter is a friendly and overall great host! If you are traveling with young kids this is your go to spot! Not only kids can run around but pool is so great that there is a lot of shallow area for them to play in! We would highly recommend this place and can't wait to be back soon!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The view was amazing and the apartment had everything we needed. We spent a lot of time on the balcony relaxing and enjoying the view. Location is a bit out of the way but was not a problem to drive/walk down to town. Recommend having a car :)

A cosy little apartment in a great area of Lisbon. The apartment has everything you need, including a balcony with a beautiful view. The neighbourhood is peaceful, lots of restaurants, cafes and coffee shops within walking distance. The only downside is getting up and down the stairs to the top floor of the building, especially with shopping or luggage (great cardio though!)

Nestled in one of the most charming and upscale areas along the Portuguese Riviera, we were just a short walk to the beach, the scenic promenade to Cascais, and fantastic restaurants and cafés. Whether we were enjoying a morning coffee on the terrace or watching the sunset with a glass of wine, the setting was pure magic. The host was equally impressive — warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. They provided thoughtful recommendations and made us feel right at home. Extremely nice apartment and well equipped with kitchen and bathroom supplies. Location was 5 minute walk to grocery store and 2 bus stations within 1 minute walk. Balcony was wonderful to enjoy morning and evening. If you enjoy walking, closest beach is 10 minutes away. Thank you for sharing your home. Would book again if i make a return trip!

We stayed there as couple for 4 nights. We had the rooftop apartment and it was even better than what we imagined from pictures. All amenities are spotless and at different level - like you would buy for your own place. We liked specifically the private parking and lemon trees at site. We felt like Villa didn’t match with its surroundings. Even though it had a spectacular view over the port, location is not a typical city center. A short Uber ride is sufficient to get you to the city though. We would definitely come back and stay here. We loved it!

The apartment is lovely, clean, well-equipped, and even more spacious than expected. The location is close to bustling neighborhoods, but the building itself is very peaceful and quiet. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time. From the apartment, we could visit many beautiful places and it is still very quiet and private. The village is only 4 minutes away by car and it is also very nice to eat something there and spend time on the beach. The hostess provided us with everything necessary and was not intrusive. We will be happy to come back!

We spent 2 weeks in Jose’s apartment with our 10-month baby. Everything went well, the place was cozy, clean and safe. The real highlight was the marvelous ocean view from the spacious balcony. Jose was very helpful and gave good recommendations via messages. There was a calm and relaxing atmosphere in the apartment, with just the equipment needed for a little family. The apartment and the view are even better than they look in the photos. Overall Jose’s place and Sesimbra gave us an unforgettable holiday, and we miss it already.

The apartment is fantastic, like staying in a piece of history. Wilfried has taken great care with the renovations and has also kitted out the apartment with high quality bedding and toiletries. Kitchen is really well equipped and Wilfried provided a vast array of coffees and teas. The rooms and bathroom layout worked well for us, a family of five with three grown-up sons, so everyone had their own room and slept well. The location is perfect, very central and easy to walk to most attractions or use Uber for going slightly further out. Its in a busy location with a lovely atmosphere. We weren't troubled by any noise - the trams and bars also close relatively early anyway. Wilfried is great and pro-active communicator. Everything was clean and Eugenia was a delight to meet. Thank you, we would love to stay again.

This has to be the best place to stay in Lisbon! Located right next to the highest viewpoint in Lisbon, you can admire the view everyday you come back from a day of sightseeing. Even though it’s high up, It’s definitely walkable, we did it a few times. But if you have luggages, it’s just as easy to get to by using ride share app or taxi. Joana greeted us on the day of check-in, suggested a bunch of restaurants, and places to see, which made our trip planning so much easier. The apartment is well furnished, kitchen is fully equipped, and tastefully designed. I could not imagine a better place to stay in Lisbon.
