As an artist, I'm deeply interested in aesthetics. I think I've succeeded in creating a beautiful, restful venue for relaxation. The queen size bed overlooks a bird sanctuary over the Valencia Creek watershed. The kitchen includes a fridge stocked with goodies, toaster oven, microwave, coffee pot, French press and cooktop for light cooking. You're welcome to use the oven/stove in the main kitchen with prior arrangements. A backyard gas barbecue is available for heavier cooking (or if you're planning to cook fish!) Hairdryer and shampoo are available in the spacious private bath. Thick terry robes are provided for your comfort, and beach towels and chairs if you decide to spend some time on one of our beautiful beaches. There's a large flat screen smart TV complete with Netflix. Lots of reading material and a writing desk are also here for your use. You have a private entrance with a coded entry. I share the front house with my partner and our two dogs. We'd love to meet you and perhaps share a cup of coffee or a glass of wine (depending on the time of day!) but will also respect your need/desire for privacy if you prefer. I'm happy to provide any information or amenities that will make your visit more comfortable and enjoyable. This home is close to the beautiful beaches of the Monterey Bay Marine Sanctuary and the Forest of Nisene Marks, just a mile from Aptos village, south of Santa Cruz and the Boardwalk and north of Elk Horn Slough and The Monterey Bay Aquarium. Parking is easily available on our quiet cut-de-sac. The flagstone path to the left of the property will lead you to a gate and your private porch/entrance. Provide a 4 digit code before you arrive and I'll program the entry for your convenience. No keys to hassle with. Public transit is available one mile from the house. Uber is a popular alternative in our area. We're just minutes away from a thriving downtown scene complete with music venues and restaurants, shopping, art galleries, and the SC Beach Boardwalk. Whale watching, kayaking, cycling and hiking trails are also just minutes away. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, or those looking for a quiet retreat.

We are surrounded by a 35 acre tree farm, so it's very private, yet close to the silicon valley! Our property has a standby generator so we are not affected by power outages.

Completely private In-law unit with extras needed to make it cozy. Snuggled between Scotts Valley, Felton, and Santa Cruz it's near Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park, 1440 Multiversity, and Mount Hermon Conference Center yet less than an hour from Silicon Valley. Edens place was very welcoming and had personal touches not seen in other airbnbs. The navigation instructions were easy to understand and Eden was quick to respond to messages. Wifi was easy to join and the bed was comfortable. If you're looking for a weekend getaway I would highly recommend this place!

Gail place was very suited for my husband and I stay. I initially chose Gail’s place because of the reviews! And I was not disappointed. It’s charming and located in the hills, so if you’re looking for modern and metro this is not the place. However the space is well kept , intimate and has everything you could need! ( I am not exaggerating). We even managed to sneak one more activity into our trip because Gail’s place came stocked with local fruits , items to make breakfast so we didn’t have to go out for breakfast . Not to mention a wide array of healthy snacks and toiletries for for use . The room was equipped with everything . Could have easily stayed 48 hrs in the room without leaving . Everything works and works well. Would definitely come back to Gail’s place. It was convenient stay to view the sites off route 1. I recommend 10/10

Robin was amazing from start to finish, even giving us a tour of her beautiful vineyard along with the cute pups as well. The treehouse was something to talk about and was an epic stay! The sunset was spectacular and seeing the fog under you because you’re so high up was something to experience. Robins so welcome and shows so much love to her vineyard and her family! 5 stars without a doubt!

Annie was always available to answer any question. She was very nice and we could tell she wanted us to really enjoy our stay. The views were amazing, everything was very clean and we felt right at home. I celebrated my 60 th Birthday day with Family and some friends just for a few hours and they all loved the place and some were interested in possibly staying there sometime themselves. Needless to say, I highly recommend this place. Thank you Annie for providing me a wonderful Birthday weekend.

We only stayed for a few nights however the environment was beautiful just as pictured. We were given a walk through the property, the hosts were friendly and helpful making sure all questions were answered during check in. 10/10 very beautiful I would highly recommend.
