This was a perfect getaway for my husband’s birthday! It was so tucked away and private! We loved having a large deck to sit out on and there was a small bbq to cook at! It’s super close to restaurants within a 10 minute drive and the Santa Cruz Beach boardwalk is roughly 15-20 minutes depending on traffic! Jodi was very responsive, and gave us very clear instructions for everything! Incredible stay, and highly recommend!

⸻ I had such a wonderful two-week stay at the farm. From the moment I arrived, everyone was incredibly friendly—especially the sweet little black cat named Teva, who wore a green collar and quickly became a favorite companion. Toni was so kind and responsive, always making sure everything was just right. The farm felt very safe and peaceful throughout my stay. Being in a cabin on a farm, a few bugs are to be expected, but it wasn’t an issue—I came prepared with essential oils, which worked well to keep them at bay. The cabin itself is cozy and compact, but the many windows let in so much natural light that it felt bright and open. The shower was great too—good water pressure and ventilation, though it might be a bit snug for some. Overall, it’s a lovely little escape—close enough to San Jose for convenience, but with a feeling of peaceful seclusion that makes it feel like a true retreat.

We had a great time in the mushroom dome. I recommend reading everything on the listing page. There is a compostable toilet that kitty explains how to use, if you’ve never used one before, though you might be a little shocked. I recommend keeping the bathroom door shut when you are not using it and keeping the bathroom window open for ventilation. Also, the spare bed downstairs most likely can’t be used by a person who is over 6 feet. It fit me perfectly. Overall, the place was well stocked. Things were clean. The patio was our favorite spot to hang out. It was wonderful waking up to the redwoods in the morning. Kitty’s property is very cute and well maintained.

What a gem! We loved the space and it was perfect for our family of 5 and our dog. What an adventure. Bei was an amazing host and so friendly and helpful! If you want a peaceful adventurous stay, Bei’s home is the place to go!

Enjoyed funky decor at Liz’s place, being a quick easy walk to the beach, bed very comfortable. Only quibble was we couldn’t get door code until we arrived & one light bulb needed replacing. But overall we were very happy & would return. Enjoyed patio & privacy.

Jon and Amanda were amazing host and super friendly. They responded really quick and were very helpful from the time we arrived until we left. Loved the scenery from the windows, the view from the patio, the lights at night look amazing, the fire place felt really cozy. Would definitely want to get that experience again at the Fuselage!

The location is a destination in and of itself! Gorgeous property with cozy and homey furnishings. The linens were fresh and smelled so good! Beautiful views everywhere you look inside the suite. They event out pillows in the bench next to the window so you can gaze and watch the sunset. My favorite part is the garden swing next to the orange tree. The hot tub is luxurious as well—great for a couples retreat or break from the busy city

My partner and I had a wonderful stay here! We were greeted by our host Emkay and he even grabbed a cart for us to put our belongings in for easier transport! The cabin was cozy and everything we needed was inside! The property is beautiful and we enjoyed taking our Cat down to the creek and exploring. Our hosts left us a bottle of wine and it was such a great final touch to end our anniversary trip 💙 Thank you Emkay and Lara for such great hospitality! What a wonderful stay! We loved feeling so far away even though we were so close to town and the coast. In proper winter fashion, we stayed cozy and cooked hearty meals. Any cooking improvisational moves we needed to make, Patricia was there to help us out. The persimmons, the fairy lights in the rain, the chatty chickens—it all lent to a beautiful stay. It was a genuine pleasure to meet Bear Haus! Really a lovely person! The two “haus me” homes (MicroHaus Pro and the M1 Pro) that we stayed in are exceptional in every sense of the word! I can’t wait to go back!

I really enjoyed my time at George’s cabin. It was so incredibly peaceful. The room and the bathroom were very clean and smelled great. The bathtub is amazing, and I loved taking a bath every afternoon. My phone is att and it worked a little for texting, but that’s it. And I loved that. It was great to be removed from the world, but also able to quickly drive to so many great locations. I went on a hike within 30 minutes of the house every day and all were beautiful. George gave me plenty of space, but I did get to meet him, and he was so friendly and kind. Totally recommend this place!

We were looking for a special place for our 40th wedding anniversary and this cottage far exceeded our expectations! it was simply beautiful! and our hosts were incredibly helpful. we hope to return again

What a lovely space!! Michelle’s place is about as cozy as can be with a very peaceful backyard setting that felt more like a private retreat. Comfy bed, nice kitchen, large tv, and a wonderful bathroom setup made for an amazing stay.

Beautiful neighborhood, large property with beautiful view out to the garden and back yard. Michele was very helpful and welcoming, which is such a breath of fresh air as many hosts are not as personable and kind. It was a comfortable stay, I got some work and visiting done. The neighborhood is gorgeous, in the rolling hills, and extremely quiet and peaceful. I really appreciated the privacy and quiet to work and rest.

This place was so lovely! Surrounded by beautiful trees and the sounds of the creek made for great writing spot. Also, great hiking nearby. The A-Frame is adorable and nicely decorated. Sweet spot!!

We were lucky to find an opening for the dates we needed it for. Everything provided for the 3 of us visiting. Very quiet neighborhood - you just have to pass through several businesses to get to the place but once you are the property, it is peaceful and quiet. Love the attention to detail, and the walkway lights were all solar powered and triggered by motion detectors and they all worked flawlessly. Check in instructions were missing in Airbnb page but a quick message to the host and I received a response immediately with the necessary information. very responsive host. Thanks for everything.
