Apartment holiday rentals in Santa Barbara County

The condo was clean comfortable and quiet. The location was convenient to walking trails shops and the beach. Amtrak is a few blocks away for easy trips to Santa Barbara. I would definitely recommend Melinda’s condo in Carpinteria for a great beach vacation.

We thoroughly enjoyed this sweet town of Carpenteria and Pam and Paul’s place was a wonderful place to enjoy it. The beds were very comfortable and was accurate in the pictures. We didn’t have a car and thoroughly enjoyed walking the town, beach area and salt marsh. Very quaint and picturesque setting. We loved seeing the Amtrak California Surfliner train and platform for people to board. On another visit we hope to explore more of the coast via the train as it snugs the coastline. There are multiple stops during the day and seems a fun way to do day trips elsewhere when having more time. Thanks for a great stay!

Nice &cozy place , close to everyone and everything we’re interested in visiting while we are here. Place , has it all for us for a long or short visit . We were even surprised by a pull out sofa bed that proved to be very comfortable that our grandkids wanted to spend the night with us .

My family and I took a birthday vacation trip to Santa Barbara for my daughter. We stumble upon Carpenteria, with the condo, being i kept searching for a larger place to stay at a reasonable price. The location was perfect, it next to the beach, the small town with the strip of shopping and eateries and breweries, was not expected. The drive to SB, was not too bad, just a mere 20 min drive, we were able to spend the day out at SB and comfortably drive back to our place of stay. Vacasa was fast with responses, when needing to communicate. Thank you.

D’s place was welcoming, comfortable, quiet and private. I loved having my own bedroom suite to come home to each evening after a weekend workshop. And D was wonderful to visit with when we crossed paths. I would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I had a fantastic stay in Carpinteria at Jennifer's and Tommy's who also have the sweetest dog called Cub. The bedroom was cosy, had enough space and an extremely comfortable bed. Bathroom was immaculate with toiletries available if required and water pressure was brilliant in the shower. Jennifer and Tommy gave us plenty of fantastic recommendations for local restaurants, places to visit and all other amenities. They could not have been more helpful and even kindly ensured after a night of enjoying the local brewery provided us with some much needed water and painkillers in the morning! There was plenty of free parking that was close to the property and the area felt very safe. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Carpinteria and were sad to leave as we wished we could have spent more time enjoying all of the beauty and delights of the area. Our accommodation felt like a home away from home! Thank you again for such a memorable stay!

This may be the cleanest and neatest place I’ve ever stayed at. It looks like it was either just built or just fully remodeled. We felt like we might be the first people to have stayed there after the remodel. I almost felt guilty taking things out of the pristinely organized drawers. This place is also very convenient if you have older folks with you, since there is an elevator from the garage and one of the full bedrooms is on the floor without any stairs. We had a few minor questions and the host responded within a few minutes to resolve them. The place is right next to the freeway, as in you can see the cars and almost touch the sound wall. We were pleasantly surprised that there was almost no noise when the windows are closed There was a small convenience market half a block down the street with surprisingly good freshly made Mexican food

Heather was by far one of the most gracious, kind, and communicative hosts we've ever experience on any home sharing/rental platform in the last 10 years. Her place was immaculate and had everything we needed to feel right at home, plus extras. The thought put into her home, making sure we were comfortable, and generally making us feel welcome was above and beyond. From cozy blankets, a beautiful tea and coffee selection, luxury bath and kitchen products, to very personalized recommendations based on my profile, our stay at Heather's couldn't have been any more wonderful. Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation with friends...and even letting me back in after check-out when I left my phone inside. :)

We had a great time at Elizabeth’s place. The location was perfect. Walking distance to unlimited restaurants, bars, beach etc. Elizabeth was very responsive and her check in/out instructions were flawless & easy. The Airbnb was very comfortable and spacious for 4 adults. We cooked dinner one evening and had all amenities we needed to do so. We had a lovely time!

5++ stars!! This place was absolutely amazing and our family (2A, 2K- 10, 7) enjoyed staying here and would definitely book again next time we’re visiting relatives. All amenities were thoughtfully included to make our stay comfortable, right down to the beach tar wipes (which we needed!) and the delightful Wes Anderson coffee table book that we enjoyed reading. Location - Moments to the freeway, and the rest is all walkable- three blocks to the beach, short walk to the pier and On The Alley for a delicious bite and eight minutes to State and the Funk Zone. Grocery store and a pub are conveniently around the corner. House - As others have mentioned, the sound does carry from the other units, but wasn’t a huge issue for us. We found the beds to be a bit soft and a clothes drying rack would be useful, but otherwise no complaints. Property is spotlessly clean, includes a good quality beach set, extra towels/linens, full sized laundry, parking and lovely outdoor patio/bbq area.

Danielle’s place was perfect. The location was really great close to the beach close to town. We never had to get in our car to do anything it’s adorably appointed and she was a wonderful communicator.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house was clean, cozy and fully stocked. We spent lots of time on the porch enjoying the view and watching all the happenings on the beach, talking to neighbors and the staff at Slappy’s next door and our evening campfires. We will definitely be staying here again! There are 2 parking spots in the garage ideal for smaller cars or SUVs and a lot across the street that charges $20 a day where we parked our Tundra.

We enjoyed our time here very much.. . It felt welcoming and cozy from the moment we arrived. Suneetha is a fantastic host she is very responsive, friendly, and puts so much care into making her guests feel comfortable. It was truly a great experience. Thank you Suneetha!

The stay at Lara's place was wonderful. The apartment was spotless and exactly as described. The location was perfect, the host was very responsive and the artisan loaf of sourdough bread was an unexpected and delicious treat! We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Santa Barbara!

We had an excellent time at this airb&b. We walked the beach every morning and saw a big group of sea lions that were very fun to watch. The sunsets we saw were insanely gorgeous. We highly recommend this lovely condo. You won’t be disappointed! The hosts were very communicative.

Comfortable place in a quiet complex with private entry to the beach. Convenient location to explore the area from.

William was great to work with and we loved the place. Easy walk to the beach and we had the whole beach to ourselves. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there!

Small but efficient for us two. Great location in Carpinteria. We usually camp at the state beach but opted not to this year. Had everything we needed. Pool and spa were great. Complex was peaceful and other residents and office staff were very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking in gated lot and the spots had plenty of room for our truck and there were bike racks inside the parking lot for locking up our bikes that we took. We only used our vehicle once it was too dark for bike riding, otherwise we biked or walked. Husband fished everyday for several hours while I got to sleep in, relax, watch tv, or walk up the street for shopping. Farmers Market on Thursday was great for buying fresh fruits and veggies and flowers.

A wonderful spot for our getaway in Carp. The place was clean, quiet and just steps from the beach which was perfect for our visit. Great communication from the host who was proactive and responsive. Would recommend highly…cheers!!

Our family had a wonderful time at this space. The unit was comfortable, spacious and very well stocked. We enjoyed the short hike along the bluffs to watch dolphins and seals. We spent hours on the wonderful beach steps away. The comfortable heated pool and hot tub were a great way to end the day. We would love to return one day.

Nice, cozy condominium. Close to the beach and the private gated parking was awesome. We even enjoyed the pool daily. Loved walking to the beach daily. We would stay here again in the future. The kitchen was very well stocked for our needs. We were able to prep food for my son’s PhD graduation party which was held in Goleta. The refrigerator was large enough to hold the food. Great host, great location, fun stay. Highly recommended. Jumped on the surfliner Amtrak and took our kids to the Santa Barbara Zoo. Hung out on the beach just down the road from the apartment. Awesome time!
