The view was absolutely beautiful and provides easy access to activities within the Black Forest. The apartment was comfortable and roomy. It was a great place to stay.

Quiet area within walking distance to restaurants and shops

Lothar was a very friendly and generous host. We really enjoyed our stay in Pfaffenweiler together with our friends and children. It is a very relaxing environment with wonderful surroundings. For wine enthusiasts: the local wine is absolutely worth trying.

Very nice apartment where we felt completely at home. Nice quiet location to discover other cities and areas from there. Everything was also available in the apartment and also all looked very neat and clean. Apartment was also very nicely remodeled and finished high-quality. Compliments!

A beautiful apartment right in the heart of the Black Forest! ❤️-you will be welcomed with two delicious fir fishes and a bottle of water. The kitchen also leaves nothing to be desired,everything you need. Even the Starbucks capsules for the Nespresso machine;) The sauna is the absolute hammer and lets you relax after a long hike. Also mega pleasant,the rain shower and all the small "gifts" in the form of cream and soaps that are in the completely new and modern bathroom. Radiator with boost function,so that the towel is also plumply warm after showering. There you can only fall into the king-size bed super relaxed and fall asleep in front of the huge TV. The stay was perfect all around. The accommodation was exactly as described – clean, well-equipped and furnished with great attention to detail. We especially liked the quiet location and the cozy atmosphere, in which you immediately feel at home. The host was extremely friendly, easily accessible and made check-in super uncomplicated. Even small extras like coffee or tea made the stay particularly pleasant. I would come back anytime – a clear recommendation for anyone looking for a reliable and charming accommodation!

Our family of four, kids 12 and 9, had a lovely week away here! Fantastic views of the Black Forest, comfy beds, stylish bathrooms, terrace, well equipped kitchen and parking. Hornberg is great for hiking and sightseeing. We hiked through the woods from the house, drove to Feldberg to climb the highest point in the Black Forest and enjoyed a walk to Hornberg Castle. Triberg Waterfall was a great day out, as were the various museums and attractions there. A highlight was Ride and Slide day at Europa Park and Rulantica. Amazing rides, short queue times and excellent theming. We've been to Disneyland and, honestly, had a better time here! We headed to Baden Baden for a walk along the allee and a trip on the funicular to the watch the paragliders jump. We spent the whole of our last day at the Freibad Hornberg, a wonderful lido, local to the house, where our kids played on the huge slide and diving boards for hours. Can't recommend the house and location enough!

Very nicely organised and thought through setup. clean and very packed with required stuff. The treasure hunt for kids was great idea. Loved the home. The location is bit out of main city but that's okay. The place is totally worth it. Highly recommended.

5 stars all around! A wonderful, quaint home. We felt like VIP guests! Nui and Stephan were such kind, helpful and great hosts. An all-around perfect stay and visit. We wish we could have stayed longer and would certainly recommend to all.

I live in Airbnbs and originally booked Claire’s house for 3 nights and extended it two more once I realized how great it is. All the other reviews are accurate about location and quality. It’s full of books and other non-IKEA things that make you feel at home. The apartment, even though downstairs, has its own outdoor space and feels airy You can get into Freiburg very easily by public transport and there are walking trails directly from the house. Plenty to do. Bring a bike if you can. I would absolutely stay here again.

We liked the stay in the Sonnenhäusle very much. The house is quiet and you can start hiking right at the door. We also received tips for hikes, which we tested directly and found to be good. 🙂 The house is well suited for 4 adults and the spacious garden invites you to relax. The communication in advance and at check-in was excellent. The house itself has everything you need and the sauna after a long hike was an absolute treat. We would stay there again at any time!

The apartment is modern, everything looks like in the photos. Fully equipped kitchen, incl. Oven, microwave and refrigerator! We were very pleased. There was a washing machine and hair dryer in the bathroom. It was also clean, and the location is perfect for Europapark visitors. (10-15 min drive).

This Airbnb near Freiburg is a great find. It's clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. It's also in a good location for hiking and exploring the local area.

Very cosy, little appartment in the middle of a beautiful area. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The check-in was a bit messy because the host thought we'd arrive a day later, however, she got everything ready in a pinch! The location is also excellent for those who love a good outdoor-holiday, as my partner and I do. We had a wonderful stay!
