Views and convenience at Snells Beach.

Our space is great for travellers who enjoy wineries, cafes, beaches, walks, a boutique cinema, Matakana market on Saturdays, Morris and James pottery and the variety of places to visit and explore within easy distance. Nearby is the ferry for a day at Kawau Island. The downstairs studio is private but we are close by and pleased to help and chat if you choose. Warkworth has large grocery stores and shopping but we have an adequate shopping centre and local pub within walking distance.

Sun Trap Apartment, Snells Beach

Your own private self-contained 2 bedroom apartment with own entry access, parking and large deck area with fabulous views across the bay to Kawau Island. It is on the lower level of our home but fully independent from the main house and we are mindful and considerate of your presence. The space is open plan with a lounge, kitchenette and dining, seperate bathroom and 2 bedrooms, one single and one queen. There is one induction cooktop, a microwave, toaster, jug and teas and coffee. 

Braemar Cottage - new, peaceful, stunning views!

Braemar Cottage is a fully self-contained spacious unit in the lovely Snells Beach. It has a gorgeous ocean view over Kawau Bay. Snells Beach is about an hour's north of Auckland and perfect for a quiet relaxed getaway. There are plenty of things to do nearby from visiting charming country cafes and wineries, or shopping at the local farmer's markets, or even taking a day trip to explore Kawau Island. If you want to explore or relax closer to the cottage, the beach is only 500m away.

Room @ No. Two

Boutique accomodation minutes from the village. Room @ No Two is a private guest room and en-suite. It has gorgeous sun and relaxing views overlooking lush green countryside. We provide tea, coffee and muesli. There is a small fridge to keep your market goodies chilled. You’ll have your own private access, car park, a lovely bathroom, TV and Wifi. You’ll also have your own seated outside area which catches the late afternoon sun, this is a lovely place to relax and unwind.

Beach and bush haven

Relax with the bush behind you and the ocean in front of you. Try your hand at pizza making too! Close to Matakana and Omaha. Kayak, paddle board and surfboard available on request. This property is nestled in the community of Boathouse bay (recent winner of home of the year). Try out some: Cold water therapy in the safe high tide water or take a yoga mat to the beach and watch the sun rise. 2 sleeper couches available at an additional cost, one person per couch.

Studio @ 66 (66D Matakana Valley Road, Matakana)

66D is a brand new light cosy studio - relaxing and peaceful space! The studio is quiet and private, is attached to the main home...luxury decor with a comfy queen size bed, fully stocked kitchenette, a private separate entrance and car park. Suitable for couples and individuals. Outside seating on deck, nice glass of wine...perfect! A pleasant 3 min stroll to cinemas, cafes, bar and markets and 45 min drive from Auckland CBD.

Matakana By The River

Escape and relax at Matakana By The River, a new guesthouse that overlooks the Matakana River and is located behind the Matakana War Memorial. The property's iconic white gate leads to shops, cinema, bars, restaurants, cafes and the Saturday Farmer’s Market - all within short walking distance.
