House holiday rentals in San Saba

This was a wonderful place to stay. The bathrooms and kitchens were beautiful. (Well stocked and clean.) There was a fantastic, well-lit, cozy area to read, and plenty of privacy for our family. We hope to stay here again each time we visit our family in Bluffton. I cannot wait to stay here in the summer to enjoy the pool. My favorite thing about this home was that there were not any bugs or cobwebs. They keep this home incredibly clean!

Wonderful weekend get away with extended family! We enjoyed the water, fishing, swimming in the pool and hot tub and playing games inside. The beds were super comfy, the house was well equipped and so beautiful!

Thunderbird Lodge is a great place to stay for large groups. The unit has 5 bedrooms and a big common area. The kitchen has a lot of counterspace. The area is about 10 minutes from Burnet.

Great house and the view was amazing. There wasn’t anything close but to do unfortunately and due to the lake being so low, there was no real lake access in the area. The only close food place down the street was closed the whole time we were there. House offered a lot and was very comfortable. There wasn’t anything close construction going on across the street and next door that took away from the peacefulness but that is no fault to the owners. We enjoyed ourselves with what we had. It was nice to just getaway. The pool and pool house was a hit with my kids. Overall it was a nice stay.

Absolutely loved our stay at Debby’s place for our wedding anniversary — 5 stars all the way! The home was beautiful, with stunning views of the Texas Hill Country and a relaxing in-ground pool that made it feel like our own private retreat. The location couldn’t have been better — just minutes from horseback riding at Thunder Horse Outfitters, wine tasting at the incredible Torr Na Lochs Vineyard & Winery, and top-notch steak at Junction Prime. We also had a delicious breakfast at the Blue Bonnet Cafe and enjoyed charming local shopping at Old Oak Square. Debby was a thoughtful and responsive host. Highly recommend for a romantic getaway or relaxing Hill Country escape!

My family and I had the best time here! Super cozy and private, it felt like a true escape. The location was great, tucked away but still close enough to town. I loved the thoughtful touches and how clean everything was. Highly recommend for a comfortable and relaxing stay!

We absolutely loved staying at this private little oasis on the lake. Girls trip was so fun! It was one of the coolest rentals I’ve been in!! We absolutely loved the pool and the views. The pool has the perfect amount of sunlight and shade and was absolutely pristine despite being surrounded by trees. I can’t recommend this stay enough. Thank you to our sweet responsive hostess. We’ve shared the rental link with friends who will likely be booking here in the near future!

Place was way more spacious in person. Very close and walkable to the cafe and restaurant. The feel of the place was so comfortable it made the stay amazing. Had the perfect small town country feel. Would recommend to everyone and will use this place again. Very unique and has some old town history.

Our stay at Leaning Oaks Ranch in the 1893 farmhouse was absolutely delightful! It's a sweet escape, offering a rustic and quiet retreat. The location, tucked away on a cattle ranch down a dirt road, provided the perfect peaceful atmosphere, yet was still conveniently close to town. We especially loved our mornings sipping coffee on the porch, watching the cows graze nearby. It was a truly unique and charming experience. We also enjoyed drives and walks around the property, spotting cows, deer, jack rabbits, and armadillos! Margaret was a gracious and welcoming host, sharing the fascinating family history of the property with us. Would love to return, especially when the wildflowers are in bloom. Highly recommend this gem for anyone seeking a tranquil and authentic ranch experience!

Great place to stay for a getaway with a beautiful view from the back porch. House was clean, comfortable, and is located in a quiet neighborhood. Host was attentive and sent all the information I needed ahead of time. I would definitely stay there again on a return trip to Burnet in the future.

Our experience was memorable. The home was beautiful and spacious, plenty of room for our family of 10. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed the outdoor activities and scenic views from pickleball to trails by the river. We even got in some hog hunting. The communication with John was great. He was very responsive and helpful with any questions. Access to the ranch required traveling on some unpaved roads but it was well worth the drive and made it very private. Highly recommend this rental, we will be back.

We love it the place was so big and had plenty of to on down time for the kids! Fish was fun for the boys the caught several! If you looking for a nice gate away definitely recommend going here and stay in this home!

We had a wonderful stay! Cindy was kind, communicative, and very responsive throughout our visit. The home had everything we needed—the kitchen was fully stocked, and every detail felt thoughtfully considered. The decor was eclectic and charming, giving the space the feel of a loved and lived-in home rather than just a rental. We especially enjoyed the juke box, pool table, and relaxing patio seating. Clear instructions made check-in and navigating the home a breeze. Highly recommend for a cozy and unique getaway!

We experienced an unexpected AC break down but Ward sent a technician out immediately in an attempt to fix it quickly.. unfortunately it was out of anyones control and had to wait yo be fixed but he reimbursed us for fans/portable AC unit to cool us down quickly. We really enjoyed our stay and it was very peaceful! Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay by the lake. Peacefully remote, but perfect walking distance to the lake and driving distance to state parks in every direction. We enjoyed the outdoor space and watching the local wildlife, especially in the evenings. The house was clean and well equipped. Comfortable and nicely decorated. Everything worked as expected! We would go again!

Check in was a breeze! Upon walking in we immediately saw the incredible view! The home was clean upon check in and smelt lovely. Has everything you need to use in the kitchen, comfortable beds and plenty of clean towels. It was a perfect home away from home to relax and enjoy the views and lake. The host was very responsive and great at communicating. I highly recommended and will be visiting again!

Our daughter’s wedding at Hidden River Ranch brought our party of 5 to the area, and this place made the event extra memorable. We had one lunch at nearby Torr Na Loch, and also ate a picnic out on their deck. We appreciated all of the thoughtful touches by Nathan & Gaby — gorgeous views, beautiful linens and decor.

Very clean and updated home with all the kitchen and bathroom items you need. Hot tub and portable fire pit. Also had a couple kayaks though with the water being low, it was a few mins walk to the actual waterfront. Deer every evening. In all it was a nice week relaxing and visiting with family.

We all enjoyed our stay at asks house over Easter weekend. The lake is beautiful and the property is very quiet. Walking in the neighborhood in really nice too! The house exceeded our expectations and was easy to find. DJ was easy to get ahold of and very friendly. This property offers a lot of outdoor activities for every age.
