House holiday rentals in San Giovanni in Persiceto

From a long retired couple... Very enjoyable week's stay during September in Ruth's spacious, clean, comfortable and comprehensively equipped, family oriented villa. Ideal base for local hiking (which we didn't) and surprisingly well located, given its fairly remote position, for sampling good quality nearby restaurants (which we did). Good scope for cultural and shopping trips: eg. Bologna, Faenza, Dozza (delightful) and outlet centres incl. Barberino (convenient and extensive). We found Ruth to be a very welcoming, helpful and accessible host with a ready wealth of local knowledge - a much underrated asset that certainly enhanced our visit. 6Stanco - go for it!

We had the best time! The pool was fabulous. And the pasta night was so much fun!

This house was amazing, we brought our 3 dogs along and had the best time. An extremely private garden and pool with lots of games. She provided all bbq equipment, portable speaker, TVs loads of towels everything you’d need. Dorella was a fantastic host and it’s a really lovely comfortable home. The pool is the big selling point and it didn’t disappoint

Lovely place with spectacular views in quiet surroundings. Perfect for truly relaxing holidays. The house is beautifully renovated (and even better than in the pictures) with lots of space for everyone. There is lots of wildlife including wild boars, porcupine, deer and fox. Watch out for scorpions (normal for the area and not dangerous, but be careful with dogs or kids). The pool is very nice and clean, too. It is possible to do nice walks nearby (good hiking shoes and maybe hiking sticks recommended)

Very comfortable house, clean and large pool. Pietro, despite not seeing him, was always available to respond and give us directions. The only downside is the location. You have to take a nice trip to do some things. But otherwise it's great.

A lovely spacious house, elegantly and stylishly furnished (AB&B photos don't really do it justice). Beautiful tranquil location - apart from the Apennine wolves we heard howling one night (a definite bonus in our book). Lovely walks from the house along the river Dolo gorge, and especially recommend the Golfarone waterfall about 25 mins drive away. A 15-minute scramble upriver brings you to a beautiful pool for swimming under the waterfall. Also lovely local neighbours, who offered us homemade wine and jam. Good local restaurants. Alessandro was extremely helpful and friendly.

Silvana and her Husband were GREAT Hosts!! The place was immaculate and Super Peaceful!!! Best arrangements and accommodations Close to Bologna!! We spent 5 days, Played Tennis and had a Mega BBQ!! Enjoyed the place immensely, Silvana was a SUPER Host!!! Will surely comeback!!!!

The property is breathtaking, with stunning views that make it a perfect retreat. A car is essential for getting around. Our host, Lara, embodied the warmth and generosity of Italian hospitality. Despite pouring rain on our arrival, she greeted us warmly and explained everything thoroughly. She texted us recommendations for the best local restaurants and checked in regularly—not intrusively, but with genuine care and passion for her guests’ comfort. Lara went above and beyond, preparing the BBQ for us, offering fresh fruit as a thoughtful treat, and providing delicious pastries for breakfast on our departure day. I would absolutely stay here again!

Cozy house, well furnished, with spa and gym, equipped with every comfort, everything manages to make even the days of bad weather spectacular! Andrea is always ready and available for any need, he made us spend a memorable weekend. Highly recommended!!

The accommodation at Michele's was extremely pleasant! Immersed in the quiet of a beautiful garden, the house had everything we needed. We enjoyed breathing in the history of the structure and the family through the furniture and furnishings of the rooms, carefully cared for and preserved. Michele was very friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. In the summer heat, it was nice to find a quiet corner cooled by the greenery. See you soon!

A cozy location just outside the city center

Due to a very complicated move I stayed alone at the property, unfortunately going back and forth to and from Bologna Working with animals and the garden, beautiful and fully fenced, it really made a difference The house is enchanting as well as the view that frames it, priceless to wake up to the view of our Apennines. So much silence to feel - especially at night - almost intimidated :-) Beautiful disconnect during which, at times, I was also able to regenerate I had some small difficulties with the TV in the room compared to the channel synchronization, while everything was fine with the one in the room Cleanliness and services offered completely in line with expectations Overall, I would absolutely recommend a stay at this charming structure if you really want to unplug and carve out a space and a moment of just relaxation and rest! Large multipurpose terrace in beautiful and peaceful surroundings, great hosts and communications, great value for money. 30 minutes from small city restaurants and groceries.

If i could give 20 stars, it would not be enough to state what this Torre Riva is all about! Peaceful, private, quiet, ancient, historic! Perhaps the most remarkable place we've stayed! The village below is quiet, the townspeople are friendly. The entire area is a picture. You will feel history. Mario is an absolute genius with how to send the baggage up. The renovations that he continued with, the woodwork! The way up, is only the best part...get in shape. The village is worth the walk within all the alleys. A picture at every step. We returned with the memory of the previous year's experience still alive, and this time every expectation was exceeded. The hosts once again proved to be attentive, caring and very respectful of the needs of the guests. The house is cared for in every detail, with impeccable cleanliness that makes it welcoming and pleasant from the first moment. The location is a real cure-all to get away from the daily routine: immersed in nature, it offers tranquility and a wonderful view. Even with high summer temperatures (35°C), you can comfortably stay outdoors, enjoying a pleasant freshness and regenerating peace. It is the ideal solution both for groups of friends – as in our case, for a reunion – and for large families. We are back and will definitely come back again. Thanks again!

Going there is already a party. Continuing to climb, following the directions, you will eventually arrive at your destination. Then first enjoy the spectacular view. And then to be heavily impressed by the cottage. Super big, and very authentic. We felt like a prince and princess!

We had a really pleasant stay in this cozy apartment with attention to the smallest details. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the fireplace perfectly functional, with wood provided free of charge by the host. The apartment is immersed in the tranquility of the Modena Apennines, an ideal place for those looking to disconnect from the daily hustle and bustle. Nearby are several hiking trails, perfect for exploring the surrounding nature. Sergio and his wife were exceptional hosts: kind, helpful and never intrusive. Highly recommended for a rejuvenating break!

Magnificent historic place, magnificent host: Caterina was always attentive to us, communication was very fast and she is wonderful, without being overwhelming, but always ready to help us. "a heavenly place" is located in a very quiet village, surrounded by greenery. The location allows you to reach Rovigo, Ferrara and the surrounding area in twenty minutes. the apartment is nice, well maintained and very clean. Gorgeous modern space in a great location just a short walk to many sights in the historic city center. The apartment is beautifully appointed. The name of the apartment is Silence House, but we did hear quite a bit of street noise at night. That may have been bad timing as there was a festival in the city center that weekend. We had a rental car but the garage wasn’t available for use - if you need the garage, check with the host beforehand. The host got us a ZTL pass to park nearby, but the timing was bad with the festival and I had to drive around for close to an hour to find a parking spot. The hosts were always very quick to respond to any messages. They proactively checked in with us to see how things were going during our stay. If you want to stay in the city center, this is your modern home away from home.
