Kid-friendly holiday rentals in San Frediano, Florence

A beautiful spot in a great location of Florence. Everything is in walking distance, from the train station to the Academia to the Uffizi, this is an excellent place to stay. We are a family of four and we arrived to find the pull out couch nicely made into a bed for our children. The place was spotless as well! The host is super friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!!

Lorenzo was an exceptional host. Very attentive, thoughtful, and full of great local recommendations. He checked in regularly to ensure we had everything we needed. If I could rate this place 15/10, I would! We had a rental car, and the location couldn’t have been better, just a 10-minute drive to everything, with convenient parking right in front of the house. Plus, the garden was absolutely stunning

We stayed at Flora House as a family trip with my parents and had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing vacation. The kitchen is very well equipped, and we really enjoyed cooking meals together with fresh ingredients from the host’s farm. It was a great place to unwind and spend quality time as a family. Highly recommended!

This place is absolutely stunning! Alessandro is the most amazing host- very flexible with our late check in and early leaving time- even brought us a cappuccino at 3:30am before we left! Couldn’t recommend more- we will definitely be back- thank you for the most amazing stay!

A beautiful property to stay in while exploring this wonderful city. We had a very late check in & Matteo & Suzanna were so accommodating. The home is a fantastic place of calm & coolness after a hot day spent in a busy city. Great local places to eat & artisan makers… thank you we loved Flora & would recommend & love to return someday .

Petra is a wonderful host. I've never met another host who provided so many recommendations and insightful information about the surroundings and Tuscany. The place is even more impressive in reality than in photos. The landscape and the sunset are more stunning than in the finest restaurants in the region. The house had everything necessary and was cool in the evening, despite temperatures reaching +40 degrees. It was cosy, ambient, and in my opinion, the best place possible to relax and chill. For those who plan to work, there is good internet and enough dedicated space. Petra's place is suitable for couples and families with kids.

Absolutely loved Lara’s place. The unit is just as described and in the best location in Florence. She has great taste and it feels super authentic and cozy. Lara was super communicative and helpful throughout my entire stay. She also provides amazing local recommendations. You won’t regret booking!

We had an excellent time staying at Raoul’s apartment. The location was perfect with easy access to the city centre and also the lovely parts close to the apartment south of the river. There was so much to do and see nearby, as well as amazing food right at your doorstep. If you’re a bit on the taller side like me (6ft1) then the bathroom and shower will feel snug but it did not detract from the experience. It was quiet at night and peaceful throughout the day with the only time of busyness being the end of the school day. I would happily stay here again and Raoul was an excellent host providing lots of information about the local area as well as responsive.

This was our second time in Firenze, and one of our favourite places to visit. Claudia’s apartment was an absolute pleasure to come home to after a day of sightseeing. In a wonderful location, handy for the city but away from the tourist hubbub, it has several very good restaurants and bars nearby. You don’t have to go far for an authentic Italian food experience, in fact we ventured 20 metres on our first night, enjoying an excellent meal in a fabulous atmosphere just a few doors away. We followed one of Claudia’s many local recommendations for one of the best pizzas we’ve ever eaten on our second night (Berbere Pizza) it’s a three minute walk away. We’ll be trying their sister restaurant in Rome on the next leg of our travels! Claudia’s home is beautifully and creatively presented. It’s clean, spacious and well equipped and Claudia expands the experience with some thoughtful touches that added a genuine warmth. We would recommend her place to anyone and would happily stay again.

We enjoyed staying here during our time in Florence. It’s in a really good location, with restaurants and bars nearby. It is only a short walk into the centre of Florence, or there are plenty of bus stops close by. I Would recommend staying here.

A fabulous apartment with a super historic. I highly recommend this very modern clean and spacious apartment. I was genuinely sorry to leave and will certainly book with Dan again should I return to Florence in the future. Great location, lots of room, accomidated 4 adults with ease. Very clean and comfortable beds.

Check-in was easy. Communication was also easy and I always got a quick response.Filippo and Peter were both friendly. This place is adorable and located in a perfect spot. We were close to many amazing restaurants and could easily walk to all of the wonderful places that Florence has to offer. Definitely recommend!

Perfect in every way. Beautiful place to call home while in Florence. It had everything we needed and more. Sveva had wonderful recommendations that perfected our time in Florence. Coffee and gelato are steps away from the front door. SMN is an easy 10 minute walk, everything that we could have possibly needed was all in walking distance. We loved meeting everyone, and even had an opportunity to tour the museum, which was stunning. We will be staying here every time we come to Florence. Thank you Sveva!

Lucia's apartment is fabulous, spacious, and tastefully furnished. It is very clean and equipped with all comforts. Excellent location Lucia is a kind, helpful and attentive host to her guests.

A perfect stay in Florence. Mattia’s house is not only perfectly located with an amazing terrace but so welcoming with lovely relaxing spaces with incredible views , extremely comfortable beds, and attention to all those small details that make a stay special. We throughly enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend to others.

We had a lovely stay in this great apartment. Daniela met us and was so flexible in communications. The apartment was exactly as described and in a quieter part of town but within walking distance of everything that Florence has to offer. Very close by are plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants - many of which we enjoyed visiting. The bed was really comfortable and it was a bonus to have the washing machine and outside clothes line to dry things off - with added lovely jasmine scent from the beautiful bushes below.

Lovely little apartment, close to everything, very homely feel and lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The apartment is located on a busy road which is quite loud, but to me it made it feel authentic which I enjoyed. Also the apartment does get very hot and the fan is not very powerful. Mattia responded very quickly to all my queries and was very understanding with our check in time changing as our train was cancelled and then delayed. We received a warm welcome and lots of recommendations of local spots and things to do in Florence. Overall this is a great air bnb and I would recommend staying:)
