This place is amazing, the photos don't do it justice. It's very close to both Limón and Portillo, so it has a key location for activities. The green and low environmental impact approach is a philosophy that they carry in the conception, in the smallest details you can notice the effort to be a genuine ecolodge

Albachiara was a little bit of the earthly paradise. Everything was wonderful, well thought out and perfect in execution. From breakfast which was abundant and varied--fruit, pastries, classic egg dishes--to the rooms: spanking clean, sheets and towels changed daily, a well-equipped kitchen, ceiling fans in every room and AC in the bedroom. The pool was fabulous, the staff helpful and amazing, a 24 hour front desk always there for you, a groundskeeper who was truly an artist with the hedges and Jeanelly, our host! Just check out her shoes! Que zapatos! Just what we needed for a mid-winter getaway--the weather was perfect this time of year. I can recommend Hotel Albachiara without hesitation and without reservations.

5 Stars - A Perfect Stay at Boho Villas & Spa We stayed at Boho Villas and Spa for four nights, and it was exactly what we were looking for. Tucked away in a quiet, remote area, it offered peace, comfort, and charm. This is not Punta Cana — and we love it. When we couldn’t get a room for one night, Marcus went out of his way to find us a great nearby alternative. There are only a few restaurants around, but with Marcus and Cristaline’s great recommendations, we found some real local gems. Our room was clean, cool, and comfortable. The pool was wonderfully refreshing, and we especially enjoyed the conversations and company of our hosts. Marcus and Cristaline are warm, thoughtful people who made us feel completely at home. Highly recommended!

Good location, the attention of all the staff is excellent. The place has many areas designed in the comfort of the guests, my first option in Terrenas.

It's something that can't be explained. You arrive and forget about everything. It's a wonderful place and the attention is incredible. It's a place that gives you peace.

Amazing experience, the staff is very friendly, the breakfast was good, the room clean, and most importantly, the views will leave you speechless. It is a great place to disconnect and explore the surrounding beaches.

Great place!

This is a nice little apartment in a hotel on a side street close to Playa las Ballenas. It was simple but nice, with a fridge and a small kitchen. There is air conditioning in the bedroom and ceiling fans in both rooms. By keeping the door between the two rooms open, we were able to keep the kitchen/living room area comfortable. The hotel is only a few minutes walk to the beach, it has a nice little pool, and there is a colmado close by. It was exactly what we were looking for and we would stay there again.

Wow. What a gem. I’ve traveled to over 50 countries and have never experienced a place quite like Urban Boutique, a beautiful decorated coastal rustic boutique hotel. Nestled on a hill overlooking the shore/Las Terrenas, it is the perfect blend between peaceful hideaway and easy access to the beach and town. It’s an easy 5-7 minute downhill walk or 2 min moto ride to the bustling heart of town yet feels worlds away. Room #8 is THE BEST with panoramic views of the coast, sunrise, and sunset. The managers, Oria and James have a beautiful heart for hospitality and truly care about making every guest feel at home. Every room is so cute and unique! And the pool!! So serene yet with the same sweeping tropical hilltop views. Massage services by Gabi provided onsite. Prices are super reasonable. After my first massage I decided to do one everyday - 3 days of massages - pure bliss! God bless Gabi’s healing hands! Highly recommended. Thank you, Urban Boutique team for a delightful stay!

Communication and complaisance was on high level. Landlord offered us additional night due to hurricane Fiona, and also enabled storage of our rented scooter in his basement. We felt really safe here and room was comfortable with air-conditioning. We definitely recommend this accomodation.

Incredible sunsets, clear nights, and awakenings, it’s a beautiful combination of mountains, and beaches; one of the most safety and quiet places where my family has been. Highly recommended!

We got a carefully made breakfast daily. The whole place was actually more beautiful and thoughtfully taken care of than the photos showed. The wifi still had some issues but that was clearly communicated on the front. This will be resolved in the foreseeable future. A fantastic pool, a well-equipped kitchen where you can actually cook for yourself. Definitely value for money. Raysa is a lot of attention to detail. You are within walking distance of Playa Bonita. By car, it is a perfect quiet base to explore the Las Terrenas region, away from the busy main roads.

The girl who took care of us was very pleasant and attentive, I definitely recommend it. It's a simple but inviting place. Thank you Adela for the attentions provided ♥️
