Loft holiday rentals in Salzkammergut

We were in the accommodation as a family of 5 at the end of May. For us, everything was fine, the journey was comfortable and the accommodation corresponds exactly to the pictures and the description. There is plenty of space and we had a great view from the huge skylights. We liked the alternative of being able to take the S-Bahn into Salzburg. The host is very helpful and reliable. We were welcome and very comfortable.

There were four of us in Angela's apartment "Bergfex", as the apartment was very conveniently located to the festival grounds of the Chiemsee Summer. Coordination with Angela in advance as well as regarding check-in/check-out was uncomplicated and she was remembered as an always friendly hostess. The old gendarmerie is a great old house, which has wooden stairs and wooden floors - the house rules regarding street shoes (noise) are completely justified and meaningful, although we have not heard much from other guests and hopefully little of us. We had the attic apartment in the old gendarmerie with modern kitchenette in the large kitchen as well as a nice bathroom. Everything you need in everyday life was available here. In the cozy living room, there is a couch, TV, and a fireplace. We had a few nice days here, even if we left a little earlier due to the canceled festival. Thanks again to Angela!

Easy communication, good quality overall.

We were guests in this beautiful apartment for the third time. We always feel right at home there. The apartment is very clean and well maintained and fully meets our taste. We also always enjoy the fantastic view of Lake Chiemsee and the mountains. Veronika is a wonderful host and communication with her was excellent. Would happily come again.

We had a terrific stay in Ursula’s apartment in Salzburg. The location was great and we were able to Uber around quite easily. The apt itself was perfect for our family (which includes 2 teenaged boys). There was a pullout coach in the office room, so each boy had their own space. We would definitely stay there again when we return to Salzburg in the future. Thanks Ursula!

Thank you very much for a nice stay. Veerle was flexible and helpfull so our last minute booking and late arrival was no problem. Spacious appartment, fully equiped with all we needed, relatively close to ski slopes. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you once again.

Get out of the car and breathe! Cowbell ringing, wonderful air and what a view. Bernd's place is really nice and in an almost absolutely quiet location. The apartment was airy, modern and yet very cozy and a great starting point for various activities. At night, an incredible starry sky awaited us and during the day it was great to watch nature from the large terrace. Here you can wind down wonderfully. Highly recommended.

Hannelores place is situated in a quiet part just a little outside the city center. The view from the balcony was just stunning, and the apartment super clean, really nicely decorated and had more than everything necessary to cook and relax. Its in a nice neighbourhood, just 20 minutes walk from leopoldskrone! Check in was easy and comfortable. Recommend anyone to stay here with the exception of those looking to stay right in the center of town. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We have never felt more warmly welcomed than at our stay at The Peacock. The apartment, freshly restored and exquisitely designed, is the perfect balance between historic integrity and luxurious modernity. Location is quite, secure and very walkable to restaurants, retail shops and the train stop. The apartment is thoughtfully equipped with everything one could possibly want. Location, beauty, a gracious host, this space is exquisite in every way. We were sad when it was time to depart. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.

At the end of our trip through Switzerland & Austria this was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The apartment was right in the town but very quiet. Free parking within 5 minutes walk. Ample supermarkets if self catering is your thing. We would have no hesitation in recommending Tom’s apartment.

We stayed here in the summer and it was 100% worth it. Nearby there were several hiking trails that were easy to reach on foot or with a short bus trip. The Mollthaler Gletscher was beautiful, definitely recommended. The village was quiet, the locals were friendly and there are many cozy restaurants. You can also rent bicycles in the village to discover the beautiful surroundings (do not underestimate the climb back to the village). The apartment was beautiful, cozy furnished and had everything you could need. Definitely recommended to visit Mallnitz, especially in summer!

The house is perfect! Everything you need for some relaxing days in the mountains, close to supermarket/drugstore, also good location for hikes. I would for sure go again and recommend it to everyone.

No lake view, but still a wonderful view and the lake is quickly (about 10 minutes) walking distance. The furnishings leave nothing to be desired, as well as the hostess who had great tips and was always easily accessible. Even though the region is beautiful, our favorite place was the roof terrace of Chiemgauloft. In the main town are an EDEKA, a great beer garden, an excellent ice cream parlor, and there is a bun delivery service all the way to the front door. The property is a good starting point for hikes and bike rides, but also for "water lovers" . We highly recommend visiting Petra.

We would like to highly recommend Irene's apartment. We were there for four nights, a couple with five children and it was just great! The apartment with 4 very spacious bedrooms, 2 toilets and a large bathroom. Furnished and beautifully decorated and full of warmth and family. Equipped with everything you need- kitchen utensils, spices, children's games, bath equipment, washer and dryer and a large service room, inferences in all rooms, adjacent parking to the apartment as well as a nearby playground and a grocery store a minute drive away. Excellent location with very convenient arrival to all the attractions of the Salzburg rope - the longest drive was about an hour. Very simple check in and check out. Thank you so much Irene!

I spent the last three months in this apartment, working as a ski instructor. I have been coming to Bad Gastein for many years. Although its not in the very centre of Bad Gastein, its only a 10m walk there, but its located in the old Bad Gastein with a selection of the best restaurants in the village. So a perfect location really. Also the buss connections in Mozartplatz a few minutes away will take you any place you wish. In summary, I was so happy in this apartment during my stay, and will probably rebook again next time. The apartment is built in the 1960’s, not the most modern, but it had everything I needed. For those expecting super luxury, its not that kind of a place, but you will need to pay 5x more for that!! A well equipped kitchen, even a remote control Japanese toilet ! I loved the rather large balcony, the views of the mountains from the kitchen window (and living room window). Perfect for me, but not so large, so max 2 adults and 2 kids, or three adults.
