Luxurious castle penthouse suite near Zell am See

We have been 16 adults and one toddler and the place was super child friendly and safe. It is definitely perfect for big groups to stay together as you feel totally private in the place. Location wise perfect to visit different ski slopes each with 15 mins drive, located very central. It was a very nice gesture to get fresh milk in the morning. We definitely want to go back there again.

Wonderful apartment in the castle hotel. The apartment is clean and spacious. Everything you need is there, even the kitchen is very well equipped. Quiet location and yet you are very quickly at restaurants and in the shopping street. It's also close to supermarkets. Top location to the Mondsee and nearby for some hikes. We would come back to stay here!

The Rauchenbichlerhof is an imposing listed castle, with its own Baroque garden, which was first mentioned by name in 1120 and in which the former mistress of the French Emperor Napoleon I lived in 1831.

It was a wonderful stay with fresh eggs and milk. The entire host family is very friendly and accommodating. Old listed castle lovingly modernized and renovated. Very recommended.
