We had a great stay at Toes in the Sand. It was even better than pictured. I was originally worried from the photos that maybe you couldn’t see the ocean from the main living floor, but you absolutely can see the ocean from nearly everywhere in the house. It’s lovely. Such a charming house, quiet, beautiful beach, and near enough to groceries, gas, and anything else you’d need. Also, had a great Oceanside dinner at Fish Heads <30 min north! This place is absolutely beautiful! You can hear the waves all night long and the the AC works beautifully! You do need 4 wheel drive as there home is in-between dunes and the parking situation with other Airbnbs cause for some 4 wheel drive action but it's part of the experience and we loved it all! Everyone around is extremely friendly and we were able to enjoy our pup on the beach at all times! EXTREMELY dog friendly vibe! Beware this location is about 30 minutes from more urban city areas BUT there are plenty of local markets and deli's to make your easy! Ice machine is fantastic and honestly makes up for no freezer! We will be booking yearly

This was our second year at Serene Retreat. It’s just such a wonderful place for young children to enjoy the beach. The fenced in yard is great for their outdoor play. We enjoy cooking in the fabulous kitchen and feasting at the table with a view. Better than any restaurant around! Thank you again.

Kite's Inn was exactly as advertised and more. The home is beautiful, well-furnished, and the kitchen was well-equipped. We loved the location with great views of the Pamlico Sound. The House was ideal for pets and small children. The grass yard allowed our dogs to play outside and to swim in the Sound without having to worry about stepping on burs and the beach was ideal for our 1 1/2 year old grand child. The house is easy walking distance to nearby attractions and restaurants. Joshua is a great host who was responsive and proactive with ideas when we had a rainy day.

We came to Rodanthe to relax and that’s exactly what we did. This is the only Airbnb in the Outer Banks that we’ve considered staying at again. This rental house was more like a home which is rare to find at the beach. So many thoughtful extras to make your stay more enjoyable. The outdoor shower was everything. I didn’t use the shower inside our whole stay. The hot tub was clean and heated up quickly. The master bed was very comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the deck talking, laughing, playing games, and enjoying the sounds of the ocean and the breeze. Beach access is right in front of the house which made for a very short walk back to use the bathroom or get a drink. I appreciated having just one flight of stairs to walk my senior dogs up and down to go to the bathroom. The host was very prompt getting back to me and answering all of my questions. We had a slight issue that was out of the host’s control but they did everything in their power to make it right.

Great location and home for our friends with family trip! The pool and backyard was the perfect hangout and the beach was a quick walk away. Very comfortable for 3 families all with kids! Grateful our fur babies could join as well! Travis was very communicative and helpful. Highly recommend this spot!

My wife and I stayed here for a getaway week. The house was very clean and as advertised. We were happy to see a larger couch than in the photos and a TV in the one bedroom. We would come again!

Thank you for everything! The only problem we had was an outside deck blind blew down during the night, but it really didn’t affect the trip and didn’t look damaged..my mom left a note about it I believe…otherwise, great experience overall and would definitely recommend

This is our 2nd time staying at Tiffany’s lovely cottage and it was just as amazing as the 1st time. Great location, very clean - such a wonderful little spot. We will be returning again 😊

Excellent beach getaway on a quiet street with an easy walk to the beach. A quick walk from a local market with everything needed. House was clean, kitchen was very well stocked with everything needed for a stay. Grill was clean and plenty of gas. Pool was clean and private. Plenty of room for parking. Balcony and porch made for excellent evenings. Beach access is close and private. Everything was clean and ready to go when we go there. Hoses and outdoor faucets made cleanoff beach stuff and dogs easy. Will definitely look to rebook in the future.

Our stay at changing tides in the Outer Banks was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning ocean views and the short 30 second walk to the pristine beach. The house itself is a perfect blend of coastal charm and modern comfort, with a fabulous kitchen, hot tub, and very well appointed living spaces. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the thoughtful touches made our vacation effortless and relaxing. The location in Duck was ideal—close to local restaurants, shops, and attractions like iconic duck donuts haha, nearby cute places to eat , yet tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood. The host was incredibly responsive. We will definitely return.

Shelli's place was perfect for what we needed- a quick get away with our pooch! Everything smelled clean on arrival & we definitely had our privacy while we were there. The outdoor shower was perfect after a windy sand blasted day at the beach! Thank you for your flexibility on check in & check out!

What a wonderful place to stay! All around such a great spot for some time at the beach! Everything is exactly as described. With the incredibly easy walk to the beach, seriously breathtaking views all around, convenient location to restaurants/shops and great communication from the host, I couldn’t recommend this place more! You won’t regret booking here. We can’t wait to come back!

We loved Hygge By The Sea! It was a lovely one story home (one flight of stairs to access the house as is usual for the OBX) that fit our family perfectly. The house was spotless and so comfortable. We loved the laid back vibe and everyone felt right at home. Its location ocean front can't be beat.

We just got back today. This home is absolutely perfect for a quiet getaway. Sit on the couch, at the dining table, wake up in bed, wash dishes….wherever you are in this home, you will have an ocean view!!!!!!! Richard was very responsive and attentive. We travel down to OBX 2x a year and this will definitely be the place we stay! Rodanthe has that small town feel and just perfect for those that do not want to be around the crowds. Step right off the deck and onto the sand. Walk the beach and enjoy the sounds and views. Sunrise, sunsets? You get both in this home from every room! We loved our stay and will be back this fall!

This home is beautiful. The layout provides privacy and lots of opportunities to spend time together as a family. There were many extras that made us feel so at home: tons of spices and a fully stocked kitchen, beach cart, chairs, etc. We loved having our coffee on the deck in the morning listening to the ocean. In the evening you can see the sunset over the sound of walk less than five minutes to a park and watch it hit the horizon. Sarah and Victor were quick to respond and clearly put together a space with guests in mind. Plus the most comfortable beds in any vacation property I've ever used!

This is our third time staying at Diane’s place and it was wonderful as usual. It’s always refreshing to experience the quiet atmosphere and peaceful surroundings. Great place to relax.

Perfect in every way! We can't say enough about Beverly & their wonderful beach house! We felt right at home immediately. The house is beautiful, clean & extremely well stocked. Right on the beach & also very close to the sound also. The neighborhood is peaceful & the street is quiet. The house also has really nice decking on every level & is gated so it's very safe for the K9 kids & would be for human kids also:) The freight elevator makes bringing supplies, groceries & luggage very convenient. Beverly & Frank definitely thought of everything and are very friendly, gracious, generous & responsive hosts. We can't think of anything to make it better. We've been coming to OBX for years & this is definitely our favorite place. My husband and I and our fur babies had an amazing time & very much hope we will have the opportunity to come back next year. Look no further than Beverly's place! There can't be anything better:)

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful beach home! The space was spotless upon arrival—truly one of the cleanest and most well-maintained vacation rentals we've ever experienced. Every detail was thoughtfully considered making it feel like a true home away from home. Our host was exceptional—organized, responsive, and clearly takes great pride in both the property and the guest experience. You can tell this home is lovingly cared for, and it made our time by the ocean even more relaxing and enjoyable. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, well-appointed beach getaway. While we were on our way to Arlene's house she contacted me to let me know the street and driveway were flooding due to the high waves. She said if it was too hard to get in, her husband would take us to the house in his truck. We were able to make it in but it was a very kind offer and went above and beyond! Arlene's house was comfortable with an amazing view. A lot of the beach had receded away due to storms which made walks on the beach difficult at times but the view from her decks made up for it. The only thing we could have wished for was a bit more yard with less tall prickly vines to walk our pup and to walk thru to the beach due to the driveway and road being flooded. All in all, we had a WONDERFUL time and I would come back again. Thank you Arlene for your very fast responses and offer of your husband's truck to get in! If we come back to the area we will absolutely see if your home is available again.

such a cute little town very family friendly and everything is walkable so you still get your steps in. house was great on the canal with a nice public path to the beach a few minutes away!
