Apartment holiday rentals in Salema

The apartment is located in a spectacular area, the object of many visits due to the fantastic views. The location is exceptional, you can walk to supermarket and beach and there are several areas very close to leaving our vehicle. The orientation of the apartment, without being exactly a first line, allows you to enjoy the sea in a fantastic way from the side balcony you have, very well adapted to comfortably enjoy a refreshment or a coffee, as well as from the terrace located at the entrance to the apartment equipped with comfortable furniture to relax looking at the Sea. The interaction with the hostess has been close and agile from the first moment and the apartment is beautiful, tastefully renovated, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living room with everything you need to relax and the beds very comfortable, in short it seemed a great option in all aspects. We traveled with our pet and had a great time.

We loved staying at Marta’s place. The home was super clean and very comfortable. The rooftop hot tub was so lovely and the pool in the complex was a bonus. It is super walkable and so close to the beach. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at André’s place! He is a very kind host and was great with communication. The space itself is really nice. The balcony is such a plus. We utilized the pool which also had a great burger place/bar at it. Many locals shared that Porto do Mos (the beach that is a 5 min. walk away) is their favorite Lagos beach - we can now see why! Ubers were easy to get to go into town, the marina, and to travel to other places on the Algarve (we went to Luz, Burgau, and Salema - highly recommend!). Definitely book this Airbnb if you want a peaceful stay in a beautiful, convenient location!

Its the second time we have stayed at this apartment, and its just as amazing as the first time we were there. Incredibly location and there is nothing like waking up to the sound of waves every morning. Would love to be back a third time in the future

We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay and loved the apartment. The views are stunning and being positioned adjacent to a nature reserve ensures quietness and privacy. The balcony and roof top terrace are 5 star! The apartment is very well apointed and equipped allowing for meals etc to be easily prepared if one wants a break from the local resturants. I have to make special mention of the very comfortable wide beds - my wife and I have booked accomodation at many different rentals in Salema and our general experience has been particularly uncomfortable small beds. This is quite the opposite at Casa Alvorada. There are a few flights of stairs to climb to get to the apartment from the parking area which is not a problem at all and well worth it for the amazing views. If you are compromised in any way, this may be a challange but Robert John made us well aware of the stairs prior to booking and paying. Would love to stay at Casa Alvorada again, highly recommended!

Cláudia is such a kind and warm Person. We immediately felt at home. The Interieur is lovely and detailed, the view is stunning. She was very easy to reach if questions came up and super helpful with recommendations. We felt very welcome and will surely come back :) - the Cats were a super cute plus. Having stayed locally many times we were thrilled to be based in the midst of it all in Salema. Emma’s place is fabulous. Huge balcony looking out over rooftops and the sea. We were so happy with the view and to hear the waves. Very peaceful. We will be returning to this apartment, we can’t imagine finding somewhere as good at such a reasonable price. Thank you Emma! Highly recommend! The apartment was incredibly comfortable and had all the amenities needed for a perfect beach getaway. You can tell it’s thoughtfully set up by someone who either travels often or stays here themselves.

Absolute paradise. Unbelievable views, impeccably clean, and comfortably furnished. Everything one needs to escape in one convenient location. I have never received as useful and concise check-in instructions as here, complete with video tutorials and a well- written guide with tips for touring Lagos and the Algarve. Superb hosts - highly recommend.

Eva’s apartment was an oasis of calm and the perfect place for a relaxing break. We stayed 5 nights and were so happy we booked! It’s so thoughtfully decorated with everything you can need. The welcome gifts on arrival were such a lovely touch too. It’s in a great location at the Marina of Lagos. It’s quiet with restaurants and bars all within walking distance, as well as a big supermarket. Eva’s local tips and guidebook were spot on and very helpful. Cannot recommend more highly and hope to come back one day!

Our stay was AMAZING! The apartment was exactly as described and was a perfect place for us to relax. As you can see in the photos, it's a 2 story and the deck space is amazing. Loved the layout, the close proximity to the beach, and all the restaurants in the area. We had a car and really appreciated the underground parking as well. Ana was phenomenal with her communication and check-in was very simple. In fact, Ana was incredible with her communication leading up to and during our stay. We were 2 couples and this was a great setup for us. 100% would recommend this apartment, and would love to stay again! Our 3 days in Portimao were super relaxing, which was exactly what we were looking for.

We stayed as a couple for 4 nights at Kirsten’s place. It is a well-designed and clean ground floor apartment with 2 bedrooms, an open living area and a well-equipped kitchen. All fixtures and appliances seem new and worked well. The coffee machine is wonderful. We also appreciated the washer, very comfortable bed and bedding and large outdoor courtyard. Kirsten and Joao are truly thoughtful and responsive hosts. The location of the apartment was perfect for grocery shopping in vila do bispo and for exploring local beaches (including one of our favorites Praia de Furnas 7 min drive). We highly recommend this Airbnb. Great for a long or short stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Roy’s apartment. The location is excellent—just a short walk to the beach—and the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. We’d gladly stay here again and definitely recommend it to others!

Host was very responsive & met us to walk us into the place. The photo for check in needed updating, it’s now at KK’s Thai Massage for a more accurate entrance area, but we rented a car and had free parking right in front (limited but got lucky!) Place was very clean and the balcony was the perfect spot for our morning coffee and resting at night. We walked to all the shops, pleasantly surprised just how much there was to do around! We ate at Terrazo Italian, incredible food! Beach was beautiful, definitely don’t suggest having a large suitcase tho for parking or elevator access :) Otherwise host was super nice, place was super clean & definitely bang for the buck for an air bnb.

The accommodation was one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed at, the views in the morning on the rooftop where unforgettable, the host was very helpful and approachable when needing some guidance, the only concern is that we didn’t stay for longer!! Would 100% recommend

We stayed for 10 weeks at Inna’s apartment, we had one or two minor issues but nothing worth mentioning, Inna immediately sorted our problem, she is friendly, super efficient and her communication was first rate. Loved the apartment, very peaceful and Inna provided everything we needed for a long stay. Would definitely recommend Inna’s place.

The apartment was beautiful and very homely. Stanislava was there to meet me and show me around, there was a complimentary bottle of wine, water and basket of snacks waiting. Could not fault anything at all. Even beach towels were provided. The apartment is very well located for all the amenities, bars restaurants and supermarkets on your doorstep. Bus station is a five minute walk so you can jump on a bus and go to any resort. Train station 15 min walk. Had a really chilled and relaxing holiday.

Everything was perfect! The accommodation was in perfect condition, very clean and close to the city center on foot. The pool is a real plus! I recommend it:)
