Ehemaliges Fischerhaus über zwei Etagen mit privatem Innenhof. Architektonische Highlights im marokkanischen Stil. Gelegen im schönen, alten Ortskern von Salema. Der ausgezeichnete Strand ist weniger als eine Gehminute entfernt. Vom Eingang aus gelangt man in den offenen Küchen-, Wohn- und Essbereich mit Blick in den oasenhaften Innenhof, der mit hochwertigen Steinarbeiten ansprechend gestaltet ist. Ein kleiner dekorativer Pool (nicht zum Schwimmen) rundet das behagliche Ambiente ab. Mit einem Buch in der Hand und den Füßen im kalten Wasserbecken lässt es sich hier an heißen Sommertagen herrlich entspannen und in aller Ruhe Kraft tanken. Das Bad mit Doppeldusche und Dusch-WC befindet sich im Erdgeschoss des Hauses. Die beiden offenen Schlafräume im Obergeschoss sind ausgestattet mit jeweils einem Queensize-Bett unter der gemütlichen Dachschräge. Jeder Schlafraum hat direkten Zugang zur Sonnenterasse mit Loungemöbeln. Herrliche Nachtruhe, man hört den Wind in den Palmen und entfernt die Brandung. Die Gäste haben Zugang zu allen Bereichen, da sie das gesamte Haus mieten. Für alle Fragen sind wir erreichbar (Mail und Telefon) und haben Leute vor Ort, die das Haus betreuen und behilflich sein können. Im Umkreis von 100 Metern befinden sich Restaurants, Bars, Shops, Verleih von Kajaks und Stand Up Paddling und ein Fischverkauf direkt nach Fang. Salema ist ein charmantes Fischerdorf, vom Strand aus werden Ausflüge mit dem Boot angeboten. Im Hinterland lockt der Gebirgszug Monchique mit heilenden Quellen. Weitere Aktivitäten sind Reiten, Yoga, diverse Wasser- und Freizeitparks, Wassersport wie Segeln, Jetski oder Surfen. Am Cabo de Sao Vincente lassen sich wunderbare Sonnenuntergänge erleben.

In the village you can find a bar (pool tables), local restaurant, delicious pizzeria, hip and healthy vegan brunch restaurant and a mini-market. On the first floor, we have two double bedrooms, one with a balcony facing the street and the other with a view of the sea and village, and another bathroom also with a shower. The house is located on a one-way street, so you have full access by car to the house. There is no private parking, but there is a free one 200 meters from the house.

We spent 2 wonderful weeks in Nan and Sue's very cozy and top equipped house. We love to cook and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Including hand blender! The furnishings are very cozy. We felt extremely comfortable and will be back for sure. The area ( end of January) is very quiet. The village no longer offers a shop, which can be compensated with shopping in the neighboring village.

All our expectations were met, we felt very comfortable in the apartment throughout! We didn't miss anything in the spacious apartment, it was very clean and we were very warmly welcomed and said goodbye by Francesca. From her we also received valuable tips for things to do (hike, boat tour...) and restaurants! The location of the apartment is really great, the beach of Salema is beautiful and just minutes walking. We would have liked to have stayed longer and would love to come back!!

Such a lovely villa in beautiful Salema…. Would definitely recommend but don’t want too many people coming to this unspoilt and authentic place. Zoe and Carl were so welcoming and Zoe went out of her way to help and look after us. Thank you so much for hosting us !! We will definitely be back xx
