Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Sainte-Catherine-de-la-Jacques-Cartier

We had a great time. There are many activities in the surrounding area: visit Île-aux-Coudres (30 min.), hike to Mont du Lac des Cygnes (30 min.) and shopping in the town of Baie-St-Paul (10 min.). The beds were very comfortable. The common area is very bright and the small balcony is well oriented to enjoy the sun. A small point to improve is that we would have liked the grass surrounding the outdoor fireplace to be cut as it was long and did not make us want to go there. The description of the chalet accurately reflects what is there. We recommend this cottage!

This was the third time we rented the Black House and it's starting to feel like a home away from home. Proximity to the cross country ski trails is fantastic and the house is spotless, cozy and the kitchen is well stocked! Stéphanie is incredibly responsive to all messages and very friendly in all communications. highly recommend!!!!!

We were so pleased with our stay! Chalet with a very nice view, warm atmosphere, lots of equipment for cooking. Very clean and tidy place. Lyne is very available to answer questions, she responds very quickly and seems to care about the well-being of her hosts! Highly recommend:)

Strong recommendation! Isabelle's cottage, a converted schoolhouse, is charming, peaceful, and comfortable. The house is extraordinarily well-appointed, with everything you need, particularly in the kitchen. The back patio is a serene place to have a coffee, watch the birds, and enjoy the view over the empty fields. You will need a car. We drove to Québec one day and Ile d'Orleans the next - it's about 45 minutes to each.

Beautiful!! The house as well as the outdoor space were perfectly adapted to our needs as we travel with our two shepherd dogs. The kitchen is well equipped and comfortable for 4 adults. The photos and description are as promised. The host is friendly and quick to answer our questions. Access to the river and proximity to walking trails are a plus!! We highly recommend:)

A delightful mix of old house (hand-hewn beams and squared-off logs for walls) with new renovations (modern bathrooms, comfortable beds, very clean, etc.). The neighborhood is not particularly beautiful, but we were looking for proximity to the Mont St. Anne xc ski trails and this home is perfectly located for that, along with a small grocery store and gas station a couple hundred meters away. It is both cozy and comfortable, and we will gladly come back again, potentially with other family friends as the house has three apartments and would easily house a large number of people. We absolutely loved our stay! The hosts thought of everything — from fully stocked dishes and cozy bedding to coffee and thoughtful snacks waiting for us when we arrived. The space was spotless and beautifully decorated, and the grounds were immaculate. We met Holly during our stay and she was so sweet. Although we didn’t meet Nadine in person, she was incredibly responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again — it truly felt like a home away from home.

A lovely place to enjoy peaceful time with family or friends! We stayed in early June, and the neighborhood was beautifully green and picturesque. The home offers a stunning view of the hills and is tucked away in a quiet, private area. It was clean and well-equipped with almost all the amenities we needed. Marie was very helpful and responsive, which made our stay even more comfortable. Conveniently located about 30 minutes from Old Quebec and Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier, we had the chance to explore both the city and the national park. Highly recommended!

The spa and pool table were fantastic additions that made our stay even more enjoyable. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Clean space as described within walking distance to all Quebec City attractions. Parking spot is small so we opted to leave the car in the garage and take Ubers or walk to the Old City. I think overall good value compared to staying in a hotel, however be aware there is a homeless shelter one block away where a number of homeless people are milling about on the sidewalk so walking home at night from the wrong direction was a little sketchy. Not a problem for four adults but not ideal if traveling with small children in my opinion.

Romantic stay for a weekend of trail competition about 15 minutes from the chalet! The temperature darkened the event, but the chalet fully consoled us! The host accommodated us without hesitation for a slightly earlier arrival than expected. Beautiful cozy/warm place, very clean and special mention to the comfortable bed! The spa was more than appreciated by our bruised bodies after the race. We plan to return in August for another event, this time with our 3-year-old son who will love the outdoor play module. Hoping the temperature is right to enjoy the lake! :)

Beautiful place my family really enjoyed staying here.

We had a lovely stay. Despite the intense cold, feeling the warmth of a good wood fire makes you forget everything. The location is perfect, the place is quiet and there is plenty of land to play the hairball. The cottage is clean and well-equipped, we did not miss anything. I would recommend it in a second.

Me and me friends loved it so much it was hard to leave. The perfect Little place for a Little get away.

This was our second stay. It’s a great location about 30-40 minutes outside Quebec City. Lots of room for the kids to run and play outside with a beautiful porch set up overlooking the back yard. The kitchen was very well equipped. The beds were comfortable, house was very clean. Access to the lake is a very short walk. Johanne and Jean were very attentive and live just down the road. Tous étais parfait! Merci et a l’année prochaine.

Beautiful chalet with direct access to a lake. Tranquility and not too many mosquitoes. I would rent this cottage again. The master bedroom is a big wow with the bath.
