House holiday rentals in Saint-Privat-des-Vieux

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

We had an exceptional and rejuvenating stay! The cottage is very well equipped and so pleasant. We enjoyed the pool and the terrace, where the view is breathtaking. We were greeted with great kindness and very good advice for visiting the region. Agnes and her husband are very friendly and flexible. The property is lovely and the hosts were very welcoming and respectful and helpful with suggestions. Our only critique would be that the pool whilst lovely is not private and shared with the hosts who admittedly did not use it whilst we were there and if you like me love to cook the oven was portable and a slight challenge to use. The village and walks were incredible and the location near to Uzes, Nimes and Avignon makes for a lovely stay. A big thank you to Pascal and Catherine x

An incredibly pleasant place, a peaceful and bright environment. It was a real pleasure to stay in Alexandre's house: the rooms are spacious and pleasant, the outside perfectly maintained and Alexandre's welcome perfect, knowing that he was able to be very flexible with the arrival time. this house hidden in nature is the ideal place for nature and peace seekers. it is big enough for a large group without neighbors to hear or see any thing. a real recommendation in the hills of france

The lodge is located in the middle of a beautiful natural environment. You can completely unwind there. We slept a total of 2 nights in the lodge because of our transit and went to explore the area by car. There is plenty to do for those who love sports activities and you can find nice wine farms and cheese shops to take home. The house was beautiful and the interior was well thought out. We recommend everyone to stay here!

A rejuvenating stay in this little cocoon, totally in line with the photos, and relaxation assured in complete discretion thanks to the jacuzzi. Charming and warm hosts who welcome us with great kindness and a bottle of fresh rosé in the fridge 🙏 We had a great time in this cottage and highly recommend this choice, which delighted us for this enchanted break.

Great stay in this very comfortable accommodation in which we immediately felt very good. Marion is very welcoming and available! The bedding is extremely comfortable and the accommodation is well equipped. The calm of the place is refreshing. We had a really relaxing stay. I recommend it!!

We had a very good long weekend in Gil and Katy's chalet. Everything is done to facilitate our stay and we were very well received (cold drinks and ice cubes available upon arrival). The chalet is clean and comfortable, the big plus of this stay: a real unlimited jacuzzi We'll be happy to go back!

We had a great time at Claude's place. The house is very well-equipped, everything is thought out for the comfort of travelers (high quality bedding). It's best to have a vehicle to fully enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Unfortunately we were unable to enjoy the outdoors as much as we wanted, due to the capricious weather and voracious mosquitoes. Claude is really a real plus in this rental, very welcoming, good advice, while remaining discreet, which allows you to enjoy the stay in peace. The small touches (bottle of rosé, olives from the garden) made us very happy and were more than appreciated. We highly recommend this listing!

We just spent 15 days and the good weather was at the rendezvous, for those looking for calm and tranquility is the ideal place! Christine and Philippe are welcoming, warm, available and concerned for the well-being of their guests. They were good tips for sites to visit, both in the Gard and in the Ardèche which is barely 10 km away Many places to visit including the Pont du Gard, the Pont d 'Arc and the Ardèche gorges by canoe, the Aven Orgnac cave, the Sautadet waterfalls, the Nîmes bullring....) The house is well equipped and local shops are in Barjac 3km away We had a great time!

Marie-Lucy is a wonderful host, very welcoming and who knows her region well. She advised us very well to find beautiful hikes and also on local specialties to taste, and where to find them. Regarding the accommodation, the Clédette is a pretty little house full of charm and well-equipped, located in a quiet area in the mountains, with a very beautiful view. A really soothing place, we will be happy to come back!

Friendly and warm welcome from Hélène, despite the rain. Very nice little house, very well thought out and organized, in a quiet area. Directions to easily find food merchants. Small welcoming touches, homemade products: cake, cottage cheese, Cartagena jam, and also kiwi . We were "at home". Coming for a wedding, we did not have the opportunity to see Hélène again during the weekend, but if needed we knew that we could reach her by phone. Address to keep?

A haven of peace! Tastefully decorated home. The bed is very large and very comfortable. Functional accommodation and corresponding to the listing. The hot tub is a real plus!! There were 2 of us with a dog and everything was suitable (closed gate and spacious grounds).

Ann was so lovely, she gave us the best recommendations, she was very warm and welcoming! Her house is so peaceful and beautiful! We had the best weekend at Ann’s!
