Family-friendly holiday rentals in Saint Peter

An excellent location for easy beach access, great restaurants and incredible sunsets. This is a wonderful property with super amenities and very comfortable furnishings. We enjoyed the layout of the house and the ability to sit outside in the sunshine and relax. The pool and tennis courts were steps away, but never noisy and the community was peaceful and a great place for a vacation. The monkeys wandering around were a real bonus! Carl and Marcia were very friendly, helpful and responsive. Highly recommend this location for spending time in beautiful Barbados. It was our first visit but will not the last.

This was my first time staying at an AirBnB in Barbados after several visits to either family members or hotels while visiting the island. My entire family (wife, 2 kids and my mom) were all highly impressed as were friends and family who visited us. The pool was perfect, the beach was amazing and listening to the waves on the balcony became a way for all of us to find peace and quiet. The security was friendly and informative. Our host Jameela was an ANGEL! We have many travel struggles getting to the island and she was always responsive, supportive and helpful. The cleaning lady was so friendly and did an awesome job. We will definitely be coming back the next time we are back in Barbados!!!

We stayed at 204 Mistle Cove for one week. The location is right in the heart of Lawrence Gap with all restaurants and amenities within walking distance. The apartment itself is just as advertised, although the view is actually nicer than the pictures. The main room sleeps with a broadview of the ocean and the calming sounds of waves. The patio is spacious and perfect for breakfast , lunch and dinners in front of the ocean. My daughter loved the pool and the ocean front was a lot of fun with the high waves. A calmer and longer beach was only a two min walk from the apartment at Dover. Overall, we had everything we could have needed here, and would easily stay again if we go back to Barbados.

Jeff and Vicki's place was perfect! It is on the slower side of the island so it was great for relaxing and enjoying each other's company. They were extremely responsive and left some snacks and a few beers to get our vacation started. Amazing views of the ocean! Looking forward to staying again when we return.

Great Apartment in the beautiful Sugar Hill Resort. Aparment was exactly as per the photos. Fully Equiped with extra towels, beach towels, kitchen equipment, dishwasher/washing machine/dryer etc We love the location, albeit we always hire a car and i feel you need one staying here if you want to visit the beach and restaurants on a daily basis Would 100% recommend this Apartment. Special thanks to the Property Manager Kavell who was always messaging to make sure everything was ok or if we needed anything. Brillinant Stay on what is an amazing island

Enjoyable stay. Met fantastic people sharing the same block. Nice to hang around the pool and chill. Beach is 2 mins walk so easy to get to and the sea is a stunning turquoise blue.

What can we say “what a beautiful home you have “we can’t wait to come back, we loved everything above it , thank you for sharing , the decor is such a delight and the complex is so beautiful the pool the clubhouse the tennis and of course the icing on the cake the padel .

Lex’s place had it all. There is a beautiful beach right outside the back door, it’s walkable to a grocery store, several cafes and bars and the Friday fish fry. We also could grab busses right outside the house to get to Bridgetown for more beaches and restaurants. Walking around felt safe (well lit) but of course be aware of your surroundings and the cars wiz by so be aware of where the sidewalks are. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space. We loved how there were lots of towels and pillows! The only thing to prepare for is that the second bedroom gets traffic noise so maybe bring earplugs if you’re sleeping in that room.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Paolo was extremely helpful and friendly with great recommendations. The house is on a cute gated street across the street from a great surfing spot. Walking distance to Miami Beach which is a pleasant beach with a ton of shade trees. Oistins local fishing village is close enough to walk. For more lively area a quick jaunt to Rockley beach by car. For us a quiet walk to the surf and beach was ideal. Paolo must be one of the friendliest hosts we’ve had! The house was spacious and serene. Kitchen had all the necessary items. Can’t wait to return!

We had a wonderful months stay in Elizabeth's cottage. We felt at home as soon as we stepped inside. The kitchen was very well equipped. Super comfy beds and lovely bed linen and plenty of towels. It was extremely clean and we loved the outside space. The locals were so friendly and we always felt safe. Elizabeth's Dad, Tommy was near if needed and Heather did a wonderful job cleaning each week. Had some great chats ! Missing the sunshine and having breakfast on the veranda. You can see the sea from the cottage and be swimming in 5 minutes! There is a great fish market at the end of the road where the fish is so fresh. We visited last year and stayed in a hotel but staying in a cottage for us was so much more enjoyable. We did hire a car as we wanted to explore the island but it's not a necessity. Thank you, Elizabeth, would love to return in the future.

One of the best stays I’ve ever had. This treehouse felt like a modern treehouse tucked into nature. Open, airy, and deeply peaceful. Every detail was so intentional, creating a space that invites you to slow down, breathe deeper, and truly escape. At the same time, it felt like a home away from home. Cozy, refreshing, and unforgettable. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. Delroy and his family are very welcoming, helpful & easy-going. Definitely would stay again!

Zeema and Paul have been extremely nice, welcoming and helpful. They gave us so many recomendations and tips to help us have the best few days of holiday. They had a last minute cancellation in one of the better studios and they upgraded our room free of charge. Great hosts, would definetely recommend and would come back!

Quiet, beautiful spot on the south end of the island. Great, private view of the beach and mangroves from sprawling gardens. Occasional monkey visitors. Practical kitchen with needed equipment. Good ac in bedrooms. Giant sliding door for the main room. Strong WiFi in office and most of house and immediate deck (occasionally unstable but think that’s island issue). 15 min to grocery store. Most higher end restaurants and resort beaches on northwest coast 30 min+. Short walk down to beach - rough not swimmable but beautiful. Host was the most helpful we’ve ever had with Airbnb. Helped with all kinds of activity / reservations (for a nominal fee).

My daughter & I greatly enjoyed our stay at Peter’s airbnd. We loved the flowers, monkeys, and the peaceful atmosphere. Peter is a wonderful host. He had a driver pick us up from the airport. We gave him a grocery list and he bought our initial items which made it much easier for us (of course we reimbursed him). Then he made our first dinner for us and answered all our questions. We loved the movie nights- we watched movies sitting in an old pickup with movie projected on wall. He even made us popcorn. The best part was the pool onsite available for the other guests in the compound.

We had a fabulous 2 week stay at La Canoa. With 6 of us there was plenty of space and we loved hanging out in the garden and on the veranda. We especially enjoyed the wildlife in the garden and the direct beach access. The kitchen was great, fully equipped and clean. Chris was a great host and swiftly responded to any questions we had. Having never visited Barbados before we could not have asked for more. La Cabane, the closest restaurant to La Canoa, serves the best food in a perfect location. (walking distance) We loved being by the harbour and rum distillery, there was something quite unique about this location. I would recommend hiring a car if you are staying here although we used the buses, we also explored further afield to the East and South coast Thank you Chris for providing such a wonderful place to stay in Barbados.

The Cottage was as great as the location! The pool and hot tub were our favorite amenities. The rental has all the necessities; two rooms were air conditioned. The kitchen is small but has everything you will need for preparing meals. Bring coffee supplies, espresso machines are rare on the island! There is gated, off street parking for a rental car and the beach is a 3 minute walk where you will find a gas station, which has lots of essentials and a few groceries, restaurants and bars. The location on the island is ideal if you’re looking for a quieter, west side beach spot with a local feel. Speightstown, our favorite spot, is a short drive or taxi / bus ride and has a grocery store, shopping, great restaurants (Local and Co), beach bars with music and a small town Barbados feel. We’ll be back!

Marcia the host is fantastic - very responsive and helpful. We stayed at the villa for the second week of our vacation as we had 2 kids (3 year old and 4 month old) and our family friends were joining us with similar age kids - the place worked very well for us - leveraging the communal pool, the garden area and tennis courts daily. The private plunge pool was also a hit with the kids. The beach is within walking distance though we preferred to drive back down the coast (10min) to explore other beaches and restaurants. Gated residence gives an element of security and privacy though Barbados is typically very safe.

Roseanne is a wonderful and gracious host who made us feel right at home the moment we arrived. She checked in with us through the app within minutes of our flight touching down. We got a little lost, thanks to Google Maps taking us down every secondary road possible to supposedly save us time. If I had just stuck with Rosannes directions we would have been fine. The apartment was clean and tidy and looked just like the description. Comfortable furniture, a television with a good selection of channels, a beautiful dining table and chairs, several outdoor seating options and of course the good sized private pool. We even had a few Monkeys come by to say hello when we we're sitting on the pool deck or swimming. Beaches and shopping are less than 10 minutes away if your up to renting a car. Roaeanne is an absolute pleasure to deal with, and is a lovely person to get to know

We had a wonderful 10-day stay at this lovely four-bed townhouse in Mullins while attending a family wedding at the Sea Shed. With eight adults in our group, the accommodation was perfect—spacious, comfortable, and well-suited for a group of our size. Beatrice, the housekeeper, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is ideal for the beach —just a short walk - and we really appreciated the access to the Royal Westmoreland Beach Club. The free sun loungers were a real bonus, and we enjoyed several nice lunches there. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this townhouse for anyone looking to stay in the Mullins area. It’s a great base for a relaxed and enjoyable holiday in Barbados.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb! The property is located in a beautiful and secure community with 24-hour security and free parking right outside the unit, which made everything feel safe and convenient. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, adding a personal touch to the experience. The Airbnb was well-stocked with plenty of towels and included maid service on Tuesdays and Thursdays. One of the highlights was the water taxi service, which took us back-and-forth from our back patio to both a great restaurant and the private beach access. In my opinion, this beach is one of the best on the island—peaceful, clean, and with calm waters perfect for swimming or lounging. The community also provides free lounge chairs and umbrellas, which made beach days hassle-free. Snorkeling at the underwater rock shelf just offshore was a wonderful experience. I swam through schools of vibrant fish—it felt like being in an aquarium! All in all, this was a great Airbnb experience.

Our favourite place to be in the world! Amazing staff, helpful, friendly and treat us like family from the time we arrived until check out. Beautiful accommodation as always, we can’t wait to come back. Thanks you Andrew, Javon, Olivia, Trevor and Janine as well as the amazing Pauline who looked after us so well.

Great holiday, the location was very relaxing and never busy around the pool. The location was a 2 minute walk to the main road to catch a bus to go north or south to towns or beaches. Easy walk to Mullins beach and a closer beach is a 5 minute walk. The Rubis minimart & gas station is a 4 minute walk which is convenient and on the way to Mullins beach. We are already discussing a return to this location and maybe bring friends and get a 2 bedroom unit.

Absolutely fantastic. Location ideal for both Gibbes and Mullins beaches as well as Sea Shed and Larry’s restaurants. You’ll need a car for shopping with Jordans in Speightstown minutes away and has all the basics you’ll need to get going. Laura helped with a delivery from Massy so we had provisions on arrival. Paul on site to keep the pool pristine and help with any questions we had. Cannot recommend this place and the people who run it enough. If you stay here you won’t regret it.
