House holiday rentals in Saint-Jean-du-Pin

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

The Atelier is a truly exceptional place to stay. It is a unique, beautifully styled property in a wonderfully peaceful location. Staying at the Atelier allows you to completely unwind surrounded by nature whilst being close to fantastic places to visit, like Nîmes and the Pont du Gard. The pool was very welcome on a hot day! Yolène is a wonderful, very responsive host, who has created a very special place to stay. She gave us great recommendations for local restaurants, shops and fêtes when we arrived but completely respected our privacy after that. We would definitely recommend the Atelier to our friends (in fact we have already done so!) and hope to have the opportunity to return one day.

Jean Michel's accommodation is independent of his house itself. House on one level. Jean Michel is very caring and considerate, with fluid communication and a good welcome. The accommodation is impeccable. Good bedding. Great well-maintained pool. Jean Michel is a good source of advice for activities to do.

Estelle is a very kind and responsive person. Very good welcome. The accommodation is quiet, peaceful, with a beautiful garden. We loved our little stay

Our stay was perfect from start to finish. The place is beautiful. The garden, pool, sauna, petanque court and house, everything is nice, clean and well thought out. The bedding is extremely comfortable. And Sandrine is so kind! Thank you again for this welcome and this great stay.

this house hidden in nature is the ideal place for nature and peace seekers. it is big enough for a large group without neighbors to hear or see any thing. a real recommendation in the hills of france

Functional accommodation, quiet in the countryside but not far from everything. No neighbors, Frédéric is very responsive. Thank you for your hospitality, we'll keep the address!

My parents stayed in Stéphane's place and had this to say: "He was such a kind, helpful and mannerly host. The accommodation was excellent, really comfortable and clean. He left us teas, coffees etc. He checked that we were happy with everything a couple of times without interfering. He was most accommodating. He has a swimming pool which is lovely and clean. The gardens are amazing with small rock and pebbled pathways, trees and grassy areas. There were a number of villages within driving distance which had anything you might need to buy and lovely areas to explore. We have stayed in many Gites and AirBnBs over the years and we both agree that this is the best one we have ever stayed in."

Good communication with Elisa and Alexandre and the apartment is really quiet, with a small garden and all amenities (air conditioning, washing machine, tv...) for 2 people. Our doggie was also able to enjoy the garden which is a real plus. Our week was hectic but I was always able to have our hosts by phone or text. Just provide a duplicate of the keys in case you forget:) I'm thinking about coming back if I'm still around!

We had a great stay at the magnanerie du Monteil. The place is quiet and charming. We were able to benefit from Lydie's many tips on activities (hiking, canoeing, swimming in rivers, visiting charming villages, lunch in good restaurants). A perfect stay!

The property is lovely and the hosts were very welcoming and respectful and helpful with suggestions. Our only critique would be that the pool whilst lovely is not private and shared with the hosts who admittedly did not use it whilst we were there and if you like me love to cook the oven was portable and a slight challenge to use. The village and walks were incredible and the location near to Uzes, Nimes and Avignon makes for a lovely stay. A big thank you to Pascal and Catherine x

An excellent place to stay. Isolated house but at the same time very close to Alés, and excellently located to visit various points in the Cevennes. If you're looking for comfort, peace, greenery, this is the place for you :)

great stay in a really beautiful place. The apartment is very well designed, spacious, bright, the pool and its environment are a real gem and make you want to stay there. we enjoyed ourselves! Véronique and Christophe are very attentive, caring and attentive while remaining discreet. A perfect little house to escape to! Ideally located in the Cevennes, super quiet, decorated with great taste and well equipped. With extra pool and beautiful pétanque track... And hosts available, responsive and very friendly!

We were looking for a feeling of "alone in the world" lost in a generous nature, and bingo! All while having the comfort of a well-equipped and warm home. François is very attentive and responsive, very pleasant too. The view is memorable, the surrounding hikes wonderful. We loved the songs of the birds and the river below. We recommend it 100%!
