We stayed for two nights but honestly wished we stayed for more, the place is stunningly beautiful, it really felt like a home away from home albeit within walking distance from the beach, quite literally a few steps over a dune. It was comfortable, modern and spacious! The area around is breathtaking and we even managed to see a few dolphins frolicking nearby! We will definitely come here again!

Sonkwas is an incredible spot. We'll certainly be back. It's right on the beach, and the design, furnishings & location are hard to beat especially at this price. Think this is a great spot either for small families, or for two couples wanting to spend a quiet weekend away on the beautiful West Coast. Most beautiful sunset I've seen in my life. A true gem. The hosts were great, too. Excellent comms and very helpful recommendations.

Such a beautiful situation right by the beach, just open the door and walk down the sand. House was very comfortable and had all we needed. Duncan was super helpful on arrival and throughout. Would definitely go there again

We had lovely time. The weather was a little chilly so the heated pool was a bonus. Unfortunately my daughter got ill during our stay but the house is located around the corner from a doctor surgery which was really great, and even though we did not get an opportunity to go to the beach, the bar area with pool table/table tennis/darts and the board games in the house kept us entertained. Good selection of entertainment on the TV too.

The villa is absolutely superb. It's located in prime position right by the water in serene and beautiful Jacob's Bay and has the most incredible patio to enjoy the view and beauty of South Africa's West Coast. The house, and particularly the patio, is extremely well designed and maximizes the enjoyment of the property. The house is easily one of the nicest in the entire estate. The decor and style is perfect and captures the West Coast vibe. The view and particularly the sunsets and starlight made it difficult to believe that I was only 1.5 hours away from Cape Town. The villa is well fitted with indoor and outdoor braais/barbecue, extremely comfortable patio furniture, a covered swimming pool and the garden is lovely. This is truly a special place and my entire family loved it. It's going to be difficult to find a better place to stay than this on South Africa's West Coast. I couldn't recommend this more highly and Michelle is an incredible host. Perfect 5 star rating from me.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful beach house. The ocean views from almost every window were absolutely breathtaking, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere throughout. The home is equipped with high-end appliances, quality bedding and towels, and a great braai area that made our evening extra enjoyable. Everything was thoughtfully prepared, and it truly felt like a home away from home. We’ve made special memories here and would love to return!

What a beautiful location, right on the beach, most magnificent sunset views!! Hearing the waves and feeling the breeze all day and night were so relaxing. This place ticked off all the boxes with spacious rooms, lovely outside areas and a cool pool to dip into while enjoying family and views. The downstairs suites were a bonus with fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds, coffee station and sitting area which made for some quiet, relaxing times for guests needing some separate time or space. Definitely a place to recommend!! From the description and pictures on the posting, easy booking, responsive and friendly host to experiencing all that Paternoster offers, this place was tops!! Most memorable: the beautiful sunset views!!

Absolutely great place, so central, really relaxing, had a Braai on the patio the first night. I had a seminar at the Skate Park on Saturday morning. Very homely place, I will highly recommend it.

We had a great time at Robert’s place. A perfect getaway. Perfect for a large group. Layout of the home is great with all the rooms having en-suite bathrooms. Location is excellent, right on Main beach and very close to good restaurants. No need to drive anywhere. The slipway for our boat was also just down the road. We will definitely be back.

Booked it for my adult children, and they had a lovely time, unit was beautiful, very close to a lovely beach, shops and restaurants. Host was very welcoming.

What a wonderful time in an immaculate home at the beach front. Beautiful views over the ocean whilst playing card and board games (provided) with the family. Extensive library to read from and a kitchen VERY well equipped with lots of pots, pans and serving plates. The bed linen were clean, comfortable and high quality.

We had a wonderful stay. The house has charm and lots of character. We felt at home right away. We were surprised by the size of the house and how extremely well equipped it was, especially for large families. The cleanliness was irreproachable and the garden and yard neat and well maintained. We had a wonderful stay at Claires The apartment was sooo comfortable. Loved the heated mattress pad with the cool weather. We enjoyed the beautiful waterfront, a delicious restaurant next door and close proximity to The West Coast National Park. I would love to stay at Claires again

Great place right at the beach with everything you need. A restaurant and playground next door, and ice cream shop across the street and other shops & restaurants are only a couple of minutes away by car, including the incredible venue Die Strandloper.

Absolutely pristine place, beautifully and tastefully decorated with every little thing thought of. Great view, fabulous location within very easy walking distance of beach and excellent restaurants. Highly recommended and will definitely stay here again.

We had an incredible honeymoon getaway at Noetzie in Dwarskerbos! The house was perfect, with everything we needed for cooking and braaiing. The location was ideal, with the beach just a short walk away. We loved being close to restaurants and nearby towns, and the drives were short and scenic. We're already looking forward to returning! This place is just amazing, beautifully decorated, has everything you need for a holiday at the beach. Kitchen is well supplied, we cooked at home a couple of times. But there are several good restaurants you can walk to. Surf rental is right around the corner, which was very convenient! Communication was so easy, Gia was very helpful! We (family of three) definitely want to come back!

Carna is a very friendly and welcoming host. The apartment is beautifuly decorated with thoughtful touches and the view from the kitchen and lounge is amazing. It is a very short stroll down to the beach- the location cannot be better.
