What a beautiful home and a fabulous pool , many an evening was spent around it , we were totally relaxed after our stay and would highly recommend Our hosts were really accommodating and vet helpful and at the end of a message and were quick to respond . The area was lovely with fields around and easy to travel to different locations A fabulous family holiday was had by us all

Quintessential French Country We could not recommend a place more! We absolutely loved our stay at Celine's listing, which was perfect after a few very busy days in Paris sightseeing. We enjoyed the slower pace, the beautiful pool, the private BQ seating area, and the indoor space was perfectly decorated and suited our needs well. We're in France 12 days, and this was by far, the best leg of our journey. Be sure to take Celine's restaurant recommendation - it was the icing on the cake. And Celine was the best hostess we have ever met! Charming, in every way.

A beautiful moment of relaxation after a long motorcycle ride. Swimming pool, fountain, lights, pleasant and well-arranged natural space. a much appreciated breakfast to start the day. i recommend it.

It was a pleasant stay and close to Bordeaux and even closer to cute towns along the river like Blaye. Lots to see and many wineries nearby as well! The accommodation is exactly as described and well worth it for the price.

Accommodation true to description, welcoming and flexible host. The place is close by car to the supermarkets and the city center of Jonzac, and the subdivision is quiet and pleasant.

Cozy and fresh place in a secluded area. Self check-in went as smoothly as possible, the hosts are responsive and friendly. This time we only stayed one night, but we would definitely be back in the future! Also, we got to pet a pug in the yard! That’s a plus too :)

Jane was the best, most helpful and most reliable host I have ever encountered. She helped me retrieve left behind luggage by spending hours on the phone with DHL and the car rental office where my luggage was left. Jane’s property is in a stunning location, surrounded by wheat and sunflower fields and as I am an artist it was perfect. The house was beautiful and spotlessly clean, decorated with excellent taste and thought to every detail. It is located about 25 minutes from Angoulême, a small city with excellent restaurants and shops. It is also in easy access to many small and pretty villages like Auberterre Sur Dronne. I highly recommend staying at Jane’s in Champagne-Vigny. I highly recommend this property

This was one of the most amazing, if not the most amazing, air bnb experiences I have ever had. First, the location is incredible. You feel like you were placed in the middle of an ethereal countryside with nothing but rolling hills, the sound of birds, a gentle breeze and an occasional hello from the hosts smiling sweet dog Ella. Second, the house itself is exactly like the pictures on the listing, if not more beautiful in person. You can tell Sara has worked as a designer because the interior decor is stunning. Everything is so comfortable and clean and forces you into a state of relaxation immediately. Lastly, Sara herself is an angel. She will do anything in her power to make sure your stay is as peaceful and stress free as possible. I have never had a more helpful yet non-invasive host on Airbnb. If you are looking for a magical retreat into the gorgeous French countryside I couldn’t recommend this place more. I would plan a trip back to France simply for this air BnB. 1000/10!!

We were greeted by Florence who was lovely and accommodating. The accommodation is PERFECT for both adults and children. We spent the weekend there with young children who were able to play safely in the garden. The house is very clean, the linen smells good... and to all this is added a decoration and renovation done with great taste. Thanks again Florence

A truly unforgettable stay! This private, spacious boathouse was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we were wowed by the unique character and thoughtful design—especially the stunning bolted ceiling that give the space more charm with a touch of grandeur. The bed was comfortable, making every night restful and serene. The bathroom was great with a big walk-in shower, and heated floors were a luxurious bonus we didn’t know we needed! Everything was spot on, blending comfort with a sense of adventure. If you’re looking for a stay that’s both cozy and strikingly unique, this is it!

Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

The accommodation is very nice, well arranged and tastefully decorated. Everything you need is available, with real attention to detail. The terrace, with its table and sun loungers, is also a real plus! The only small downside: the tenants downstairs are quite noisy.

Very good stay. The house is functional, clean and ideal for 5 people. Jean François and Corine are welcoming and available hosts. Close to the JONZAC spa, so very well located for us. We recommend it.😉

Modern, comfortable, functional and carefully decorated cottage. Both bedrooms are sufficiently spacious and equipped with storage. The cottage does not lack anything. We particularly appreciated the calm and attention of Melanie and her partner to have turned on the air conditioning before our arrival on a day of great heat. We'll be back.

We loved our stay at David and Jerome’s place!! They were both extremely helpful, friendly and responsive. The property is beautiful and peaceful, whether having your morning coffee in the garden, an afternoon swim in the pool or an evening hot tub. Would highly recommend to all future guests!
