Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Saint George Island

This place really sets the standard for items that are INCLUDED with a rental! Things were included WELL beyond expected. Pots, pans, dishes, silverware, Tupperware, storage bags, spices, salt, pepper, blankets, towels, kayaks, bicycles, propane(3 bottles!), binoculars, printer, paper towels, napkins, paper plates, etc, etc, and the list goes on and on! How many places have half & half, butter, and orange juice in the refrigerator waiting on you? There was no corner cut anywhere. ALSO...this places was clean from top to bottom. We really enjoyed this place! Thank you for doing things the right way!

We enjoyed our stay at beach baby! Very roomy, nice kitchen with plenty of cookware and dishes, and the most comfy beds! House looks a little different from photos as they are in the process of updating. They’ve done a great job on the front porch and steps, as well as the back deck. The covered front porch and the partial cover back porch are perfect for cooling off from the sun or being outdoors when it rains. The only thing I missed was the screened in part for the front porch but it didn’t interfere with our stay. I’m sure that will be updated soon as well. You can tell they’ve put some love into this place. 😍

Our already special visit became x-tra special among the sweet swaying pine trees of this shaded lovely home, a bird-watchers’ & hiker’s delight. The décor is fresh & enjoyable, kitchen is easy to work in & large screened porch is like an enclosed living room. Jennifer is accommodating, granting early check-in as there were no prev. guests.We enjoyed walking to both the St. George Sound non-swimming waters, lovely to look at from the convenient front porch perches, as much as we liked following the nearby public easement path to the Gulf Shore, where we found empty shells to wash & add to the glass jar collection on a side table. The bed is comfortable, bathrooms are extra clean & views out the many windows are a pleasure. As we toured the island & returned to this wooded retreat we realized how solidly built, with extra features of endurance, this house was created for the family who obviously lovingly cares for it.

Our family of four had a great time at the Skinny Mini. All the rooms were very roomy, comfortable, and very clean. The kitchen had everything we needed and the dishes were beautiful! The couches were very comfortable. There weren’t any beach chairs or umbrellas, so be prepared to bring your own. We only had neighbors on one side, so it wasn’t too bad, but the closeness of the homes makes it very difficult to have any privacy. If you’re traveling with pets, you’ll have to take them across the street to the small green area as there is no grass or any place to take them under the house or behind it. We definitely recommend it!

We have travelled to this area for years and this is by far the best house we have stayed at. Gorgeous house, plenty of space for our big family. We had a blast with the golf cart, E-bikes and video games. Beach chairs were in excellent condition. House was beautifully decorated. My only complaint is they made us leave , I could have stayed forever LOL . Even accommodated a late check out. Communication is top notch. We will definitely be repeat customers . Thanks Darin for the best Mother’s Day a mom could have.

We had a few minor issues with the outside lights and pool light not working. Shellie was very responsive. The outside trash from previous guest wasn't picked up by garbage service until we had been there 3 days. We did mention it. The home is older and could use some updates but it was still a nice place to stay with lots of room for the eight of us. The location is good, pool is nice, loved the screened porches, plenty of pots, pans and dishes, plenty of seating in the living room. Overall, it was good stay and we would be happy to stay again.

My family are returned guest. This home feels like our home away from home! We love the area because it is quiet, not overly crowded, and not commercialized! Beautiful beach that allows you to have your pets vacation with you! You're allowed to have golf carts on the beach which is a great feature. Saved us numerous trips back and forth to set up for our beach day.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cottage. The only negative I would mention is that the fish cleaning table on the dock has no running water to actually clean fish. Other than that the house was great! Host was responsive with communication. She messaged us and let us know we could check in early if we wanted to.

The house was very convenient to alot of places and also fishing along shoreline is possible. Even with just some wading. The pool was nice as well. Our dogs also felt right at home.

I can’t begin to describe what an amazing beach house this was. It went above and beyond my expectations. I felt right at home as if it was my own. The distance to the beach was perfect. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet. I was able to take my dog for a few mile long walks around the neighborhood. The sunsets are beautiful as well as the early morning breeze that blows through the screened in porch. The swing on the porch was big enough to sleep on. And if you are lucky you might even get to hear, see and feel the jets fly over heading towards or away from the near by Air Force base. But don’t worry you would hardly know the base was there unless you knew ahead of time. There are many restaurants and a cute little downtown. There is a lighthouse in town and even a Sea Turtle Center. I would definitely recommend Lourdes’ Pink Door Vacay and cannot wait to go there again soon.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The house is very close to the pool and we had the best time on the golf cart and loved how they have a paved pathway for bikes, running and golf carts along the beach. The house was very clean and equipped with everything you could think of! We were so happy that it was a dog friendly beach and house. The best restaurant we ate at was the White Marlin and going horseback riding on the beach was so much fun! Port St. Joe is absolutely gorgeous and I recommend to anyone who’s never been. Thank you Emily for being such a wonderful host! She even did a grocery order pick up for us and had it at the house when we checked in. I give this stay 10 stars if I could!

This place truly was perfect for a family vacation! Michelle is a wonderful host and her home is beautiful, clean and comfortable inside and out. If you’re looking for a private but close to everything place, this is it. Michelle was quick to respond and she took time to check in to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you Michelle for helping to make our time a great one!

Honestly, this is one of the best decorated, most well-stocked, awesome vacation rentals we’ve ever visited. The golf cart made getting to the beach and pool a breeze. You can literally get to both within 2 minutes. The only thing I would have changed is booking for a longer period of time. We will 100% be back!! Loved it so so much! If you’re looking for a getaway in this area, this is THE PLACE!! And Christina was AWESOME!!! I’d rate it and her 10 if I could!!

We really enjoyed our stay at the cape! It was really nice being such a short walk to the beach, and having a private pool was wonderful! The kids really enjoyed the board games, puzzles, and cards! The house had comfortable beds, & plenty of space for our family. The kitchen had ample equipment for cooking meals at home, but also there are restaurants in walkable distance. We enjoyed biking in the state park, which is very close to the house. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the sunsets! This was one of our best vacations to date!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Kate’s home. The house is incredibly spacious, has fantastic ocean views, and is a very quick walk to the beach. It was well-stocked with everything we needed, and Kate was very helpful when we reached out with questions. We can't wait to stay again!

This home was one of the best vacations we have taken as a family. Beautiful view of the bay especially in the mornings and evenings. It was breathtakingly peaceful! We had several children so the pool area was perfect for the littles especially since it is screened in. The older kids really enjoyed fishing off the kayaks and playing on the private beach! We even saw a dolphin. This home has EVERYTHING you need. Really all we needed to pack was clothes. The home was lovely and well kept. We are already planning a second trip! ♥️

If you’re looking for a quiet beach getaway, this is absolutely the place to stay! Loved the area, lots of yummy food, peaceful/not crowded beach, plenty of space for all the family. The host was kind and quick to respond plus his guide was helpful throughout our stay. We didn’t have any issues with the house and hope to visit again in the future. Lovely vacation for myself, my sister and her child, my elderly mother, and my pup!! Also, the outdoor shower was fantastic in helping keep sand out of the house.

What an amazing stay. The location could not be more blissful. The house has literally everything you could want and the view is stunning. I will be planning my next trip as soon as possible. This place is truly special and Rachel is a tremendous host!

Zenghai’s place was fantastic! Check in was flawless and the house was exactly as described. We loved the third floor balcony from the bedroom. The walk to the beach was very close and doable even lugging beach furniture. Zenghai was flexible with us on check-in, very responsive and helpful, and all around a great host. We will definitely be back to stay at his place!

This is the 2nd year that we stayed at The Spicy Pelican and we throughly enjoyed it. The balconies are superb and spacious. The house was clean and ready for us. Especially nice is that the owners have a large pantry off the kitchen in which there are spices, olive oil, and many things that might have been forgotten while packing. All I can say is that you cannot go wrong with The Spicy Pelican. It’s not right on the beach but it is so close that it really doesn’t matter. 5 star review!!

Good things do come in small packages! The unit is a 2 bedroom with comfortable beds and living room area. Also very nice outside areas (front and back) with a privacy fence and even an outdoor shower, washer and dryer in one area and a screened in porch with nice table and chairs in the other area. Nice kitchen area with ample pots, pans and utensils for cooking, with full sized stove, microwave and coffee maker. Living area has a comfortable sofa and large TV. Air conditioning was more than enough to cool the interior if needed. The whole unit appeared to be updated and was very clean. We would definitely return and communication when needed was always followed up with a prompt reply from the owner.

Perfect location for couples. Right on the beach. Beautiful sunsets. Comfortable bed and great water pressure. Will definitely stay here again
