Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Saint-Étienne-du-Grès

Visiting for an EVJF between girls, we had a wonderful stay in this house in paradise. The accommodation is as described and faithful to the photos, a cocoon in a green setting, peaceful and quiet, perfect for a Provencal break. I thank Florence for the flexibility of schedules and the smooth and easy communication. Would definitely stay again in this beautiful place!

STUNNING VIEWS, especially sunsets. Daily breakfast in the garden is a highlight. The garden is magical and the village is fun to explore. Francois and Maria are gracious and generous hosts. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay and Sophie was a wonderful host. Fantastic location (quiet and 5-10 min drive from Gordes). The villa has been newly renovated and made for a lovely place to stay. Would recommend and visit again. Great base to explore Provence!

Frédérique listened to our needs. The place is beautiful, located close to places to visit. The house is typical of the region, offering all comforts. The pool, pleasant, for cooling off. A place close to everything, but quiet. We had a relaxing vacation, thanks to the wonderful garden.

Wonderful experience! Safe, clean, cozy. Well-furnished (we were able to cook full meals.) Lots of storage for our things in the bedroom and bathroom. Great shower. Good supply of towels (including washcloths which are so rare in Europe.) Absolutely private (fenced), darling lawn and garden. Matilde & Jeff live next door with their two children. They gave us complete privacy but we liked knowing they were there for us if we needed them. We especially liked parking right in front with only a step or two up to enter the cottage. We also appreciated the washing machine. Easy access to the center of the St. Remy village with its many restaurants and shops. St. Remy was ideal for visiting Avignon and Arles, both only about 30 minutes away. If we are lucky enough to return to Provence this where we will stay!

We’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnb’s, and Catherine’s apt is our absolute favorite! We loved the spaciousness—the rooms were larger than we expected and the balcony was huge. Bed so comfy, bathroom squeaky clean, kitchen and dining room just right for the two of us, lots of places to sit and relax. We felt so at home that we didn’t want to leave. Catherine’s directions were super easy to follow and her recommendations for restaurants outstanding. It was our first time in Menerbes and we fell in love with it. We will definitely be back!

Very nice accommodation, quiet and tastefully furnished, everything was complete (even a barbecue), we lacked nothing, many activities at Stéphane's (swimming pool, billiards, ping pong, bowling alley, board games, nothing was missing) very nice property. Stéphane, Aurore and their daughter are very nice, friendly and very caring people. We felt as if we were with family, I highly recommend living this experience, for me of all the AIRBNBS I have done so far Stéphane and Aurore are the best in the ranking, the rating goes beyond 5/5

We had a lovely stay in Sandrine's place. We loved the decor of the apartment and its overall feel.The pool was great too! Sandrine was very responsive and helpfull throughout our stay and she even offered us a lift to the centre of the town when no taxis were available. We would love to come back one day!Thank You Sandrine!

Very nice accommodation, clean, spacious, perfectly equipped and close to all shops and activities. Charlene is very responsive and has good tips. Close to free parking lots, but often unavailable in the evening. However, there is a large parking lot opposite the train station, just a few minutes' walk away. The accommodation is not very naturally lit because it is on the ground floor and located in a narrow alley, but this did not upset our stay, which was very pleasant in this accommodation in the heart of the historic district of the city.

Staying in this ancient building with renovated suites was a quintessential Avignon experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the space and the location just off Place de l'Horloge. Vanessa provided clear instructions for check-in and we had no other needs to contact her about during our stay, but I am confident she would have been available and responsive. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean & beautiful, and the open living space was perfect for our 3-night stay. We were so happy to be there on a Saturday so that we could enjoy the street market with local artisans and vendors! :) Would stay here again if ever in Avignon. Loved staying in the old city and finding small cafés on narrow Rues to enjoy Spritzes or a meal or even a morning croissant.

Clean place is as advertised. Entry and exit independently thanks to the key box. Sandrine is very responsive to any type of request. It was perfect for our weekend.

Jeremy was very helpful, super responsive and his place is very clean and spacious. We loved having an air conditioned place and it was walkable to the town center and train station. Only downside is the stairs but I had a pretty heavy checked bag and still managed it just fine. Would definitely come back to stay at this place again anytime I’m in Avignon.

Very fresh and nice little apartment, with perfect roof terrace with sun all day. A plus with both sun loungers, lounge furniture and small dining table, with room for different types of hanging on the terrace. Comfortable double bed. Great shower. We are super happy with our stay!

Fabienne’s apartment was delightful with beautiful furniture and a great kitchen and amenities. Everything was of a very high quality, terrific shower and lovely area to relax. The building was lovely and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Nathalie’s place is a gem in Provence. Walking distance to Avignon old town and within reach of all things needed from restaurants to places of interest. We had an infant and the apartment suited him in terms of crawl space and crib area. The parking in the building was super convenient to have a car and explore Provence. Nathalie was super flexible with a late night check-in and even helped me retrieve socks after I had checked out. Overall definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to explore Provence/Marseille area.

Excellent place, very clean, well distributed and nicely renovated department with a lot of utensils and its own private parking spot. Thierry was very proactive, responsive and super kind, he waited for us and showed us the place. The hosts also let us arrive before our check in time.

We felt very comfortable in Thierry's apartment. Thierry welcomed us very warmly, explained everything, gave us great tips. The apartment is located on a property that houses other (holiday) apartments. The whole property is very well maintained and wonderfully planted. The pool was very refreshing, and especially important for parents: fenced! Thierry's apartment is superbly equipped! There is really nothing missing! It's also great that the larger apartment next door can also be rented through Thierry and you could also spend the holiday there with friends or family. The location was also very good for us. You could be in the center of Saint-Rémy-de-Provence in about 20 minutes on foot. It takes 5 minutes by car and you can easily find a parking space - unless it's a market, then you should start early enough! All in all, we had a wonderful vacation at Thierry's and would love to come back!

Zahra El Kassimi was very kind and helpful. The apartment had everything we needed for the ten days we were in Avignon. The apartment was very centrally located, just next to the old papal residence and only a 5-minute walk from the main street. The apartment had 2 air conditioners, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. It was over 30 degrees in Avignon, but the apartment was cool and nice. Everything we needed worked perfectly in the apartment and we had a great time. We would recommend this apartment at Mrs. El Kassimi's to anyone visiting Avignon, who wants to stay centrally and have a short distance to almost everything in the old town. Lise and Bjørner

We spent a night at Coralie and Romain's place. The bedding is very comfortable, the apartment spacious and quiet. I have read some comments about the VMC. If you close the doors to the bathroom and toilets, you can't hear it. We had a very good exchange with Coralie, who was very welcoming. There are all kinds of shops nearby; Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is a charming little town. I recommend Coralie and Romain's accommodation.

This (too short) stay filled us with happiness. We were first very pleasantly surprised by the attentive and warm welcome from Marie, then won over by the comfort of the apartment and the garden (with pool). On a scale of 1 to 10, I’d rate Nathalie’s place a 15!! It’s simply amazing! I have never been in a more beautiful spot! The apart is so comfortable and beautifully furnished, the bed is great, wonderful rain shower. I look forward to being back!
