House holiday rentals in Saint-Ambroix

Five stars all around. Communication with Florence was excellent. We asked for a better Weber grill and a brand new one was provided immediately. House is full of character, village is charming. Bakery in the center of town has closed, but there is another bakery further down the road. Small grocery store in the center of town. Second floor (third floor North American) bedrooms could be an issue for those with mobility issues as the stone staircases are steep with only a rope to hang onto. Pulling out onto the road from the property requires assistance to make sure the way is clear. All in all, we would return in a heart beat.

We had an exceptional and rejuvenating stay! The cottage is very well equipped and so pleasant. We enjoyed the pool and the terrace, where the view is breathtaking. We were greeted with great kindness and very good advice for visiting the region. Agnes and her husband are very friendly and flexible. We really enjoyed this stay and I highly recommend this timeless place. Thanks, both of you.

This stay was a real joy, from our welcome by Sylvain to our departure, accompanied by Sylvain's mother; sunny people who make you want to come back! The house centralizes everything necessary for a peaceful stay: swimming pool, deckchairs, jacuzzi, ping-pong table, petanque, super comfortable bedding and conducive to a good sleep, to summarize, it is wonderfully good. The house, while being a few minutes from Barjac, is isolated from any noise or other nuisances, we just listen to the little birds that lull us to sleep. In short, we can't wait to come back next year, but for a longer stay: so many pretty villages and activities nearby! You can book with your eyes closed and without hesitation: you will return conquered. Thanks again to Sylvain, his mom, and our host Michel for this place designed for the well-being of all.

Couldn’t have asked for a better house - ticked all the boxes and was conveniently close to Avignon without being in town. The house was spotless with all amenities thought about. Pool, loungers, outside dining was brilliant. Will definitely be back.

Our stay was perfect from start to finish. The place is beautiful. The garden, pool, sauna, petanque court and house, everything is nice, clean and well thought out. The bedding is extremely comfortable. And Sandrine is so kind! Thank you again for this welcome and this great stay.

The lodge is located in the middle of a beautiful natural environment. You can completely unwind there. We slept a total of 2 nights in the lodge because of our transit and went to explore the area by car. There is plenty to do for those who love sports activities and you can find nice wine farms and cheese shops to take home. The house was beautiful and the interior was well thought out. We recommend everyone to stay here!

We had a great time at this beautiful place. The house is wonderfully embedded in nature. It's very quiet, you only hear the sound of nature, the creek, the animals. From there we had a lot of opportunity to hike with our dog. Banne and the surrounding places are wonderful for those who love hiking or scenery. It was very clean and mega nicely built and furnished. Anne was very kind and discreet, we were able to enjoy this privacy very much. The apartment is well-equipped and has everything you need. The property is lovely and the hosts were very welcoming and respectful and helpful with suggestions. Our only critique would be that the pool whilst lovely is not private and shared with the hosts who admittedly did not use it whilst we were there and if you like me love to cook the oven was portable and a slight challenge to use. The village and walks were incredible and the location near to Uzes, Nimes and Avignon makes for a lovely stay. A big thank you to Pascal and Catherine x

A great weekend in the hanging house Everything was perfect! We are in the city but still in a different setting Everything is provided, the layout of the accommodation is great, there is air conditioning and in the kitchen the basic condiments are also provided The accommodation is without shutters and close to the road but night masks as well as quies balls are provided Personally, we were not bothered by the noise Hosts are responsive and available, we will gladly come back

This place is beautiful and is set in a splendid setting. It's total calm. There are very nice hikes to do in the area. We came at a time when it wasn't very hot with a lot of rain. The heating system is a small slow-burning wood burning stove that we had to provide with wood throughout our stay in order to warm up the space and chase humidity. But this stay was a unique experience.

What a pleasant stay we had at Manon and Claude's, welcoming and caring hosts. The large, slightly salted pool is a real asset. The accommodation was perfectly equipped for us and our 10-month-old baby. We highly recommend this accommodation where you will appreciate Claude and Manon's advice on their beautiful region and share pleasant moments around a pastis ;) Franck and Alexandra.

If you love peace, nature and freedom, this place is fantastic. A beautiful, diverse environment with many hiking trails right next door, but also further away. We explored the region by car and took several walks with the dog. But coming back was always a party, and then we received a warm welcome from Wallace, in a nice, well-kept and tasteful cottage with everything on and off. Admired the starry night from the deck chair and the last night a thunderstorm spectacle as the icing on the cake. Haryhanta provided the delicious and fresh eggs in time and she was there if we needed anything. We highly recommend it and we would love to discover more in the Cévennes at Harryhanta.

A short getaway in the Gard with friends, we stayed with Annie and Pierre, where we were super well received. These are two people who are present but very discreet and welcoming. The apartment exactly matches the description and is very well-equipped. Its location allows you to discover the pretty medieval cities: Aigueze, Montclus, Rochegude, La Roque sur Cèze and the Sautadet waterfalls and many others. I would this property. We were looking for a feeling of "alone in the world" lost in a generous nature, and bingo! All while having the comfort of a well-equipped and warm home. François is very attentive and responsive, very pleasant too. The view is memorable, the surrounding hikes wonderful. We loved the songs of the birds and the river below. We recommend it 100%!

Do you want a stay, which is sufficiently spacious for up to 6 people, in a beautiful area, where a lot of excursions by car can be done to authentic villages, belonging to the most beautiful in France In addition, the hosts are extremely friendly and welcoming, the house was very clean upon arrival. The house is fully equipped with sufficient material for kitchen and bedrooms. There are 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets, a small private swimming pool, more than enough to refresh you and a handsome petanque court behind the terrace. There is a covered terrace : possibility of BBQ even in rainy weather. Also supermarkets and gas stations nearby. In short: Saint-Ambroix is recommended and this stay deserves 4 stars for me. Highly recommended
