Holiday rentals with beach access in Saco

Absolutely charming, beautiful place with everything you can ask for!

Normand and his wife were simply amazing. From the eggs and snacks that were waiting for us when we arrived to the homemade cookies on our check out. The place was very cozy and comfortable with tons of toys and games for kids and adults. Normand was very accommodating to any request and even helped me chase the puppies when they accidently got out. I would highly recommend this!

The Old Orchard beach house was perfect for our family of four. Just steps from the sand and a short walk to the pier/restaurants/amusement park. Jean was very friendly and helpful-everything we needed was in the house-we would definitely stay again!

Beautiful location just outside of Portland. Host was very nice and communicative, would recommend staying there!

Loved our stay! The airbnb is located above a restaurant, so parking in the assigned spaces can be a bit tricky if you arrive at night, but still no issues as we parked in a restaurant spot until we could move the cars later. The location is great, walkable to town and the cliff walk. The inside was more spacious than we anticipated from the photos and it was so nicely decorated! Would definitely come back! The side door was a bit tricky to lock, so I’d recommend only opening if you plan to use the little porch area with the full wall opened up.

Loved the location. Less than 20 minute walk to everywhere we wanted to go, and in most cases only a 5 minute walk. The home was comfortable, clean, and quiet! Appreciated having a designated parking spot, too. And the local beer waiting for us in the refrigerator was a lovely welcome to Portland! Thanks to the hosts for a great trip!

Great stay! Easy walk to the beach and a few shops. The space had everything we needed and more. Beach towels, chairs, beach bag, and toys were available for our use. Easy checkout. The place was cozy and comfortable.

Scott’s place was just what I needed. His place was very spacious with plenty of counter space and a nice walk-in shower. The normal size refrigerator was also a plus. I am a travel Nurse, so the location was perfect. So perfect that I re-booked to stay again.

We were here for a work trip so unfortunately didn’t get to use much of the house or explore the area. The backyard was great during one of our breaks though. Lani was very flexible and was quick with communication. The only thing we didn’t realize was to bring any kitchen/food items we wanted - coffee, water, etc.

This is a great place to stay, 5 mins walk to the beach and about 20 min walk to the center.

This was our second year staying at Don’s and it was great as always! Beautiful space, clean, updated, and well stocked kitchen/linens. Location to the beach can’t be beat and all the beach things you’d need are available for use. Don and Sue are both wonderful and we look forward to future stays.

We loved the place. I hesitate to give it too good a rating because that might make it harder for us to get a reservation in the future. It was just the two of us and we never left except once to buy groceries. The unimpeded panorama of sea, sand and sky 24/7 is unique to this property, which while being lovely and comfortable, seems to exist only to provide a front row seat to savor constant everchanging spectular of sea and sky. We were there in off season, and blessed with crazy good weather. But I am sure it is equally delightful whenever you are lucky enough to be there. Kudos to Aimee and her vision of in creating this treasure of a place. I LOVE that there is no porch railing. Never add one. THanks, Aimee.

This is our third time staying at Stacey's rental because we love it so much! It's the perfect size for our family and our friends to spend the weekend together. The proximity to the beach is fantastic and there is a ton to do just a short drive in any direction from the house. We look forward to our stay and are always sad to leave!

My stay was very nice and relaxing at Katie’s Airbnb! She was very easy to communicate with. I had a little difficulty with checkout and returning the keys but Katie messaged me back quickly to resolve the issue. Her home was very cozy and right next to the beach. I went with three other girlfriends as a little get an away. The pull out coach/ bed was pretty small so maybe keep that in mind. Lovely stay! Thank you!

We had an awesome long weekend stay. The place was beautifully remodeled with everything that you could need and more. The cutest details and beautiful finishes. We loved that it was a dog friendly house with a dog friendly beach right out of the back door. Our dog Timber had the best weekend swimming. The water in the bay was much calmer for him to swim vs the ocean waves. It unfortunately rained 1/2 of our stay but we were able to cozy up by the fireplace and enjoy the inside just as much as the outside. We will definitely be back next year for a longer stay! We enjoyed our stay! The place was very clean. The hosts were responsive and helpful. The train does go right behind the place at an intersection. The horn is very loud, which was hard for our toddler. Just something to consider if you’re traveling with infants/toddlers. Overall, would definitely recommend!

Great place to stay if you want to be close to downtown but with a larger, comfortable space. The place is exactly as described, exceptionally clean and tastefully decorated. No dollar store products here! The ground coffee and half and half really made it feel like we were staying at a friend’s home.

We had a wonderful stay over Memorial Day weekend! The location here truly can’t be beat-walking distance to everything Kennebunkport has to offer. We loved that the property was pet friendly and well stocked. The property itself was exactly as described with very comfy beds and a well stocked kitchen. We would absolutely stay here again. Robert and Janette were incredibly responsive with our questions and recommendations and had clear checking and checkout instructions. A true gem of a weekend getaway!

Julie’s place was very nice and very clean. The location was great, right across the street from the ocean. The kitchen was well-equipped and there was even a small basket of treats. Julie responded very quickly to any messages we sent. We would highly recommend this place.

I went with a couple of friends for a relaxing weekend in the fall. It was lovely to have the beach so close by! We took a short day trip to Ogunquit where there was quite a bit of activity; lots of shops and restaurants to check out. Coming back to Melissa's place was cozy and relaxing. Since this was off-season, it is pretty quiet in the area. I felt more comfortable taking a stroll to the beach in the evening with a friend but would be hesitant to go alone. Despite that, we got the weekend we wanted: peace, relaxation, the ocean, things to do nearby, and a place to stay that was quiet, cozy, and clean. Thank you Melissa!

Perfect little place for a weekend away near Portland!

We only had two nights at Dave’s place but wish we could’ve stayed longer. The decor was great and matched the Maine vibe while it also had all the modern amenities an Airbnb needs. Only ten minutes into the centre of Portland and very close to the beach as well. We didn’t use the kitchen but it seemed to be fully stocked. The washer and dryer were also very much appreciated. Would definitely recommend!
