Very good value considering it's in the old forge area. Sled trail is right in the front yard. Gas stations and restaurants are close by. Lorain answered all questions very quickly. I would definitely stay here again.

Lorraine quickly responded to any of my questions via the AirBNB messenger. The house is very close to downtown Old Forge which was perfect. Large lawn and we even had a deer visit and hang out with us one afternoon. You can’t beat the price of this location. Thanks Lorraine!

This is the second time we have stayed at Richard’s place. It was a lovely time! We explored the local holiday scene, went for hikes and hung out. Richard’s place is perfectly located. We got to try the brewery this time and it was a blast! Hope to be back soon!

Great location, Great host, Great house.

As other reviewers have noted, place is of great value and location could not be better. It was so quiet, I never even heard Richard enter or exit the hen I was home. Didn’t get a chance to meet the pup, but appreciated the holiday decor & visiting the Fulton Chain Brewery. Was also great to see such an awesome network of trails for snowshoeing, etc both behind Richard’s home & at nearby McCauley Mountain. I hope to return!

Richard’s place was absolutely perfect for our road trip pit stop. His dog, Zelda is an absolute sweetheart and the space was very clean and private. Richard is just a text away if you need but he was mostly out of sight and very quiet. Also, if you’re around for breakfast stop at Walt’s Diner.

Great place lots of room

The house is large, beautiful and nicely laid out that is perfect for a large groups. This house is the first one in over 10 years of traveling to Old Forge for our annual snowmobile trip that no one had a single complaint about. It is well furnished and set up so it leaves you very little to worry about allowing you to just relax and enjoy your vacation.

Super host! Close to everything in town. Holiday decorations were a very nice touch. Impressed with cable, wifi, game room, large smart TVs in most rooms. I really hope to return!

Ray's place is absolutely incredible!! Staying here felt like a dream...the home was well-appointed with modern yet rustic finishes. We had all the amenities we could've desired and more. Here is a list of things we absolutely loved about Ray's place: - the kitchen! We had a Friendsgiving for a group of 6. The kitchen had all the pots, pans, high-end appliances, seasonings/oils/condiments we needed to host a wonderful dinner! - blankets & linens! Super silky bed sheets, luxury towels, plenty of throw blankets to cuddle up and stay warm. - decor! This place is super stylish. After flipping through the magnolia magazine in the living room it was very obvious where the style inspiration came from :) - Ray! He was extremely responsive, friendly and accommodating. We had some special requests for our arrival that Ray went above and beyond to accommodate. Thank you, Ray! - the location! Super close to downtown but tucked far enough away from the main drag to feel relatively private. Overall, we loved this place and hope to come back again very soon!!

Stayed for a weekend get away with some girl friends. Rays place was awesome, very clean and spacious. Each of the 6 bedrooms was well decorated with comfy mattresses and bedding. We all had our own space yet the common areas were great for spending time together. Would recommend to large families or groups of friends. Basement would be very kid friendly (we had a kid-free weekend).

This was the perfect place for a family get away. The cabin was clean, spacious, and felt very cozy. The views were great. It was right up by the water, just like the pictures. Absolutely stunning in the fall.

We had a great stay at the cabin. Exactly how we expected it. Great for a weekend by the lake with friends or family. Denise was very easy to communicate with and made out check-in/check-out experience seamless.

My family and I stayed at Denise’s place for Memorial Day weekend and had an outstanding time. The location is incredible, great view of a calm, serene lake, and pretty good fishing! It’s really hard to find a place like this so close to the lake. Not only was the cabin great, but there was so much to do nearby. We canoed and kayaked the lake on day 1, then the next day, dropped in off the North Street Bridge and kayaked down the North Branch Moose River into town. We spent the evenings walking the town and enjoying the Fulton Chain Craft Brewery and enjoying apps and taking in the views at the Sky Bar at Tony Harper’s. This is a perfect spot in the Adirondacks with a little something for everyone. Don’t wait on this, book now!!

Every thing about the trip was great , the house was cozy and clean , right on the water , supermarket in town only 5 minutes away had everything we needed even though we arrived off season, the rustic feel of the house with the pine floors and the big king-sized bed in the main bedroom was great, heating system works perfect. 2 kayaks and 1 canoe with all the vests and paddles, games for the kids to play with, I highly recommend it and hope to be back soon.

Amazing Property. Must stay here any time of year!

The Bent Pine Lodge was a great find! We were in Old Forge for a ski race and shared the lodge with another family. All seven of us enjoyed our stay. The main seating area was cozy and easy accommodated our group.

We enjoyed the cabin and was great to hop on the snowmobile trail from! Kitchen was stocked nice and we were able to cook breakfast each day with no problem! Thanks again for a great stay!!!

This home is in a prime location if you don’t desire water front access. There is water all around for a short drive. Old Forge is just minutes from the driveway and Inlet was roughly 15 minutes away. Richard and his family have done a great job with this rental offering many amenities! The fire pit and grill were added bonuses! We brought our own fire wood but if need be there is wood everywhere if you need to buy your own. Bald Mountain is a short drive away for an easy hike and if you want to kayak or canoe, Moose River is a stone throw away as well. We have no complaints and highly recommend!

We had a wonderful experience at the Bent Pine lodge. It is close to all that Old Forge has to offer, spacious, clean, and providing linens, towels and coffee was an added bonus!

We made a quick decision to head to old forge area for a snowmobiling weekend and were lucky to find this convenient apartment for ourselves and another couple still available - location was great, could ride right from the house and driveway was great for the trailer. This is the perfect little apartment to stay in. This was my first time using Airbnb and I was not disappointed. They provided everything you could need except food. They were very quick to respond to any questions. They even made it possible to add an extra night on to our stay at the last moment. The location was amazingly perfect. Right outside of Old Forge so we were able to be close to the shops yet able to have a quiet fire. Everything was so clean and organized. It felt like being home. Richard and Candi were such gracious and amazing hosts. Would definitely recommend to everyone and look forward to staying again ourselves.

This was our first time using Airbnb and we booked very last minute, not knowing what to expect and were really wonderfully surprised! The apartment is in a great location, close to everything we wanted to do. It’s right in town but at the same time perfectly private with a huge backyard frequented by deer. The apartment was incredibly clean and beautifully decorated, not to mention the softest blankets ever! Wonderful amenities and tons of sunshine during the day. We didn’t want to leave!

Great location right on Rte 28 (no wandering backroads to get there!). Beautiful view from the living room to the lake right off the deck. Very nice, well equipped kitchen. Lovely master bedroom. Other bedroom has a comfy sitting area (almost like a second living room). TV, DVR, games to entertain. Great place to stay!

The cottage is in a beautiful location right on a lake with a dock literally coming up to the door. Barb was attentive And made sure everything was up to our expectations and then some. It was a great extended weekend with good friends.

Great location in the forest, as close to Enchanted Forest as staying at the KOA which is what we usually do, but with the comforts of home. Absolutely clean and fresh rustic decor. We had a blast. Dan was super responsive to our questions.

This place was perfect for our family holiday in the Adirondacks. It's ideal for children (we have two little ones and they loved it). The beach is close by and Old Forge is only five minutes' drive. The cabin itself is set in woodland and it was so peaceful to sit on the porch or even just look out the windows. It felt spacious and was decorated nicely. I'd definitely recommend it and hope we'll be back someday!

Dan was a gracious host who responds very quickly to each communication and who solves any issues that you may have with quickness. This house was perfect and a great location. The private beach was very nice and convenient. Loved using the grills and fire area. Great family vacation!

Dan’s cabin in Old Forge was super cute with lots of local ADK touches. Very comfy, lots of cozy blankets with bears on them! Very clean!!! Kitchen well equipped, everything you will need is there. Conveniently located minutes from downtown. Also about 10 minutes from hiking and viewing the beautiful scenery of Bald Mountain. And the host was easy to communicate with and very responsive. We had a great time!

Dan's cabin was beautifully decorated, well laid out with a lot of comfortable bedding and a big kitchen and living room for entertaining and relaxing. Sparkling clean and very comfortable. Dan was responsive and helpful with any questions I had. We enjoyed our stay and all said we would stay there again in a heartbeat!

This house is really great for a family or small to medium sized group of friends. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, the beds are very comfy, the sitting spaces are cozy and the location is right in town so you can walk everywhere. We were here in winter, but in the summer you are also right on the river near a boat rental place. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay again.

Perfect location, a great spot for a weekend away. Mike’s place was clean and spacious.

Mike’s home was a perfect getaway for our six-person family and one dog. We all sat around the spacious table to play cards or lounged on the couches to watch a movie. And, with four spacious bedrooms, there was plenty of room to spread out. We quickly felt at home and comfortable; very easy stay... We enjoyed relaxing in the house, exploring the nearby trails, and we had a great mac and cheese pizza dinner in town. We REALLY enjoyed trekking with llamas at Moose River Farm and night-sledding in Inlet. Perfect family getaway - thanks Mike!!

Quaint cabin, beautiful views of first lake and water access. Cabin is not on water, boathouse on water is across street. No outdoor fire pit, indoor fireplace. Host provides many amenities and toiletries. Comfy and quiet, conveniently located near the village. Would return!

Great location I am picky about beds but the queen bed was great. Shower in shed was no problem very clean, it had what you needed. It was worth what we paid to rent it.

The description is very accurate, the only thing I did not take away from it was that the shower was in a shed. But....it was not an issue as I thought it may be, very close to the camp and private. Hot water and pressure were excellent. The only thing I missed was an outside fire pit, in hindsightit worked out because it rained most of the stay. I still highly recommend, the location could not be better.

What a charming getaway in the ADK park! There is nothing like sitting in a hot tub listening to a small waterfall and looking at the stars to take your mind off of the daily grind. The small cabin is clean, well stocked, and Leanne was kind enough to start a fire for us! We hope to visit again soon.

Honestly, I don’t even know where to begin. This house was a magical dream and my family and I had the best Christmas ever. The house was so clean and spacious and when we walked in, Tony had a beautiful Christmas welcome basket for us. So sweet!! The kitchen for perfect for cooking our holiday meals...fully stocked with everything you will ever need for cooking. The view of the deer in the morning was quite a sight to behold. This was really a treat for my family and I and we are already planning our return trip. Thank you Tony for allowing us to create beautiful memories in your beautiful home!

Truly a hallmark movie weekend. The house was gorgeous with all the details from the metal work in the lighting, towel holders, antler chandeliers, acorn lamps and the decorated Christmas tree. The fireplace and the view out the windows of the snow covered trees and deer was absolutely stunning. My mother and sister and I watched movies, played board games and holiday music, shopped in town and went for a beautiful walk down the snow packed road. The house had everything we needed to prepare meals and create a gorgous backdrop for our memorable photos! We will definately be back!! Thank you so much!

We loved our stay at Marcias cabin! Very spacious for our family of five which included two adults, two toddlers, and a preteen. Very clean and has everything you could need. Perfect location just outside of town in a nice quiet area and easy to find. Marcia was very quick to respond to any inquiries we had and we felt right at home!

BEAUTIFUL home! We hosted our family for dinner and had everything we needed to cook & clean up (thanks to the host going the extra mile for us by adding additional items). Sparkling clean, cozy, & a very comfortable bed to sleep in. We never used the upstairs, but the rooms were separate and had their own bathroom. My only suggestion is to bring a bath towel! At the time we booked, they were not provided & we missed that memo in the guide book. With us flying in with carry ons, that was something we were not able to bring. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend :)

Hardly a shack and more of a welcome Adirondack oasis. Spacious and immaculately clean, the home is well stocked with all necessities and enough space for our family of six (four sons ranging from 8-19) and our dog. Close to town and all the local attractions, but a very peaceful setting.

Had a great time with different generations in this home, from age 2 to 78. Plenty of space for all five of us. Located near hikes, lakes, and Old Forge. The furniture is brand new and everything was spotless. We hope to come back!

Great location, minimal traffic, just what we were looking for.

The house was clean and spacious for a larger group of people. It is conveniently located close to town and to several mountains and hiking trails. Kevin and the caretakers of the house were responsive and helpful and provided us with all the information we needed to know. I would book this house again for any future trip to the Adirondacks.

Great accommodations! Check in was very easy and the house itself was extremely clean, spacious and comfortable. It was perfect for our family, as we love being together but also having our own space and this house provided just that. Location,Location,Location!! Easy walk to the hub of Old Forge. Check out the bunkhouse. You will want to spend a night there. Nice and cozy. Hosts are helpful with questions and very eady to do business with.

This place is in an amazing spot. Within walking distance to down town but far enough away to be super quiet. The beach area was perfect for fishing off the dock and canoeing and kayaking. I cannot state enough how great the hosts were and how great their house is. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I worked with Donna and Mike during my stay in their home. They were excellent and quick to reply to any questions. The house is cute and absolutely spotless when we arrived! We were up there to snowmobile. It was nice not being directly on the trail due to noise at night but trail 1 is just up the road about 500 yards. We were able to fit 2 trucks with trailers and another truck in the driveway. There was also a plowed space that could fit another truck and 2 place trailer in front of the house on the road. The kitchen comes well equipped with just about anything you could want. My only tip for future renters is to make sure to bring your linens (sheets, towels and hand towels). We will happily rent here again.

We had a great experience with this apartment! It is central to almost everything in Old Forge, so it was easy to get around. The apartment is super clean and cozy. The check in/out process was quick and easy, and the hosts got back to us fast whenever we reached out. Great value for the area, we would definitely stay here again!

It was a beautiful place to stay! At night deer will come sleep in the yard. The traffic on the road out front was not bad. No disturbances. It was perfect! I would deff stay again!

We had a wonderful time during our little weekend get away in Old Forge. Lisa’s apartment was perfect for us and right in the middle of everything so we could walk everywhere. We definitely recommend this space!!

We enjoyed our stay. We were in town for my son to show his boat in the Antique and Classic Boat show and the location was perfect to walk to the waterfront and reception. It was great to have space to leave the trailer and bring our dog as well! We also enjoyed being able to walk in town and the Farmers Market on Friday! We would return and recommend!

The pictures don't do the home justice, clean, beautiful adk decor and personal touches and in a perfect location to access old forge, hiking, first lake beach, great restaurants, enchanted forest, etc...Great size, we had 6 adults and 5 kids and with the extra downstairs living space and a huge tv (w/ wifi, netflix, tv on demand, tons of movies) the kids had their own space while the adults hung out on the outdoor porch or back fire pit area. Plenty of space and a great kitchen to make meals with all the dishes and appliances you'd need, just bring your spices! Don't forget your dish towels and bathrooms towels as they aren't provided. Having laundry is great! We made friends with many of the deer, they come right up to you and keep your eye on the milkweed next to the driveway because the butterflies there are amazing. We had a great few days and wish we could've stayed longer! Thank you for opening your house to us!

A wonderful camp in a beautiful setting. The view of Old forge pond are incredible. There are many things to do in the area and plenty of nightlife if you wish. Not too much land to play games outside or have a fire if that is important to you. The cabin itself is incredible with modern appliances, granite countertops in kitchen and an Adirondack theme throughout. The furniture is top shelf and there is internet and cable for rainy days. A wonderful place to spend your vacation. Ryan very responsive and a great host.

Place was beautiful and clean.. dock right on the pond perfect for fishing kayaking. Has everything you need coffee pot, toaster, crock pot, pots and pans, washer, dryer and dishwasher all the conveniences of home. Parking was alittle tight only 3 vehicles would fit but lots of parking in town if you have company. Short walk to town where there is a park, movie theater, water safari and shopping. My only warning to future guests is there are a lot of stairs from the deck to the water wouldn’t be good for elderly or handicap.. Ryan was a great host got back to me via text almost immediately with any questions and did not intrude on our time at all.

Great value. Close to the action (within a mile) of Old Forge but far Enough away that it was private and secluded even though there are Neighbors on either side. Didn’t do much outside the house as there was still considerable snow on the ground. Ryan was very attentive and reached out to ensure we got there alright and again to check in to make sure everything was in working order. Place was spotless and the work they’ve done to the house is just the right style for an “Adirondack cottage”

Great place to stay. Very nice cabin with an awesome view of the lake. We were able to access the snowmobile trails right from the cabin. Easy access to the town of Old Forge. Ryan was quick to respond to any questions we had. This will definitely be a cabin we will stay at again on our next snowmobiling trip.

We love Old Forge and finding Ryan's Camp Rosie was lucky for us! The camp is conveniently located close to town. We love to ski at McCauley Mountain which was also easy to get to in under ten minutes. As winter visitors, I can't comment on the lake access, but the views of the Old Forge Pond leading to the Fulton Chain of Lakes was a spectacular sight to wake up to each morning! The new furniture and beds were all very comfortable. This spot is indeed the heart of the Adirondacks, and a treasure in every season of the year!

Very nice place to take your family Lots of room and great location

This is a beautiful home with all of the amenities we needed. It is set up great for two couples. Great location to hiking, xc skiing and snowmobiling. Owner was responsive and helpful.

The house is perfect for a winter snowmobiling getaway. Just outside off the village and less than 1/4 mile to the trails. Plenty of room to spread out inside, couldn't have been better.

It you are looking for a spotless , homey, warm and comportable home this is it. A quite location not far from old forge . Everything in the description is true .

Great camp in the Old Forge NY!

Camp was extremely clean and had everything we needed... Well equiped, cozy and a great location.

Gorgeous space, great location, Kelsey was an amazing host! We had a great time. We hope to be back!! We highly recommend this place :)

Awesome host and beautiful camp!

Outstanding cabin in a great location. My kids loved the cabin, paddling around the lake, and nights by the campfire. The kayaks, SUP, and canoe are also a huge bonus. Hopefully this place stays out there for rent for years to come, we would love to come back again.

This was a great ADK getaway!

My family (me, my husband and 3 teen/young adult children) thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The paddle boards, kayaks and canoe were awesome to have available, as well as the life vests and other floats. We used them everyday that we were there. The fire pit was also a "must have" on my list of necessities when choosing a cottage, and this one is perfect. There are lots of outdoor chairs, so we didn't need to bring any camp chairs with us. We enjoyed an evening fire every night, and coffee on the porch every morning. (I brought coffee filters, but there were plenty there already!) The hummingbirds that visit the porch were delightful. The cottage kitchen has everything you need, so to don't have to worry about bringing any cooking utensils or paraphernalia with you. And I was happy to see that there was foil, sandwich bags, etc there. (I realize that these may have been left over from previous guests and may not always be there, but it was a pleasant surprise. Also, we "paid it forward" when we left, leaving a few items like that for the next guests.) The location is great for going into Old Forge. We didn't walk it, but easily could have. It was a 3 minute drive to public parking for the shops, restaurants, movie theater, etc. The cottage is small and therefore you don't have a lot of privacy, and one bedroom it's extremely tiny, but otherwise it was perfect. Just exactly the quiet, peaceful vacation my family needed before we all head off in different locations for college, with, etc. Jill was great about answering my questions!

Location is fantastic and the kayaks, paddle boards and canoe were used repeatedly. Adults, kids and dog alike enjoyed the dock and the view. Hoping to be back next summer!

This is a great little house in a perfect location directly on the lake. It has so many items included, too much to list, but we were pleasantly surprised by all the amenities. Great for a family looking for the Adirondack experience! The host (Jill) responded very quickly to our questions...

This cabin is fantastic! Great location, beautiful view, outdoor equipment provided. Very clean and well equipped with everything. Would definitely stay here again!

This charming cabin is in an attractive spot on the lake, just outside Old Forge. The cabin is homey and well provisioned, with good-sized porch overlooking the dock and lake. The highlight for us was the great selection of boats (canoe/kayak/sup) available to us in the boathouse. The living room is very cozy. The bedrooms are small though, and a minor complaint is that the bedroom and bathroom doors, if you can call them that, are thin and flimsy. But all in all a very pleasant cabin to use as a base for exploring this wonderful area.

Great place

If you're looking for a place to stay in Old Forge, this place is perfect. It's only two minutes away from all that Old Forge has to offer. It's really easy to find and the stay was comfortable. Ron is a super nice guy and very accommodating.

The house is easy to find, super comfortable, and in a great location! Lots of gorgeous wildlife, walking paths, shops and restaurants in the area, as well as close proximity to the lake. Ron is great as well! We loved our stay and would stay again.

Paul is a great host, and has a great apartment and very convenient to locate restaurants and easy walk to downtown

I stayed here for an extended period, and everything was wonderful. This apartment has great access to the village of Old Forge, and is close to all kinds of fun activities, including hiking, fishing, canoeing, etc. The host is great; he a did a lot above and beyond the call to make sure everything was in order. I highly recommend this for the solo person or couple who needs a base camp for your Adirondack adventures.

Beautiful home! Pictures do it no justice. We had a group of 11 and had plenty of space! This is a great place to stay and relax!

Great location across the street from first lake with nice views! House was perfect for our stay with friends and family. The patio and fire pit were a favorite space for a cup of coffee in the morning or fire in the evening!

5 star stay at a 5 star vacation rental. The pictures of this home do not do it justice. The home is well appointed and accommodates large groups very well. The outdoor patio has a firepit and there is a large L shaped covered porch to get out of the sun while enjoying a fantastic view of 1st Lake. There is also a beach and available dock space directly across the street (we were able to fish and dock our rental boat for a few hours there). The owners are very responsive and provided recommendations on where to eat and things to do while in Old Forge. We look forward to another enjoyable and relaxing stay next year.

We really enjoyed our stay in old forge at Cosmina’s house, especially having a child under two. The house is very child proof and there is even a high chair and baby gates. You can request a pack and play but we brought our own. The beach is just down the street and easy to get to. We enjoyed breakfast on the large patio watching the boats go by every morning. The fire pit is located right on the patio and was perfect to hang out at night while the kids slept. You were close enough that your monitor worked and far enough away to still play music and talk with friends without disturbing the kids. There’s a large driveway with parking for 3-4 cars. It is so close to the water but nice that it’s not right on the water with the kids. They share a dock space right below the property with their neighbor. He was nice and had a cute dog! We went fishing off the dock and there was also a fire pit down there for the boys to go hang separately at night. The place is clean and the communication is great! We even got a welcome gift from the Schulman’s! Thanks for having us!
