SYR second floor studio and first floor book nook in detached carriage house next to owner occupied home. Private. Modern. Authentic. Near SU, downtown, and hospitals. House backs up to beautiful Elmwood park and our family garden. Perfect for 1 or 2 (potentially 3). Great for coffee, book, and nature lovers. Stairwell to apartment is narrow and could be a challenge for some. Access to fenced private family garden if you like. We are often around and outside but the apt is very private.

Our stay was amazing, 10/10! Even though we only stayed for a night, we were very impressed! We came for a concert at the amphitheater and Idania’s place was close by. The place is the cleanest location I’ve ever stayed in. Not a single spec of dirt could be seen! There was milk, yogurt, and cold water in the fridge, along with a loaf of bread and cup-o-noodles. Though we didn’t use them, we were impressed by their availability! The bathroom was immaculate and had everything you could need (shower products, sanitary products, toothpaste, q-tips, and shower caps!). Even a bidet! Towels were pristine and felt high quality. The beds were surprisingly comfy and the bedding was soft and cozy! We loved the big bean bag chair. The temperature was perfect for us and didn’t need adjusting. We barely heard any sounds and felt very at home with plenty of privacy. Though we didn’t go out back, the back yard looked lovely. We were truly impressed with Idania’s place and would stay again!

Check in was a breeze, i am satisfied with my stay. I had the twin room. The bed was comfortable and had a smart tv which was greatly appreciated. There is a Tops supermarket literally a 3 minute walk and you can see it from the kitchen window. Guests did respect the quiet hours so that was also good. The kitchen was clean and very organized with specific area for each room that was labeled so everyone had their own cupboard, & area in the fridge. Laundry was good too in the basement. Overall I would come back but next time I'll try for a bigger room. The entire family was very welcoming and ready to help in anyway which was awesome. thank you so much :^)

From the moment I arrived, Taina made me feel welcome and cared for. Her hospitality, kindness, and attention to detail made my long-term stay comfortable and enjoyable. The space was clean, cozy, and had everything I needed for an extended stay. The location was perfect, and its proximity to public transport, local shops, hospitals and universities. What truly sets Taina apart is her genuine care for her guests. She went above and beyond to ensure I had a wonderful experience, and I’m so grateful for her generosity. I needed to extend my stays she helped without problems, and she always asks what can she do to make my stays unforgettable .If you’re looking for a peaceful, well-maintained place don't look no other places . 😆 i didn't get my wine or champagne though.
