Kitty gave clear directions on how to get to the cabin and even personally met us at the driveway so we could get to know our hostess which was so nice. We were a little put off by the idea of a compostable toilet but after experiencing one and how clean and easy it seemed to maintain we're looking into replacing our standard toilet for a compostable one as well! Her cat milo was so friendly, although I'm allergic I couldn't help but show some love...and take some claritin! The landscaping was breathtaking throughout. Can't wait to come back with a book or two to read and enjoy in the garden. Kitty has a rulebook put together which some may find daunting...but if you read through the rules are pretty common sense. We loved her sense of humor and are looking forward to booking again soon.

Quiet, relaxing and quirky...enjoyed my stay!

Kitty and Michael are gracious, kind-hearted super hosts. You will fall in love with the Mushroom Dome; my two friends and I felt at-home very quickly. The location is beautiful, the hosts are absolutely lovely, and the place itself is breathtaking. The bed upstairs is super comfortable and the shower is pleasant as well, with water that warms up right away. The Mushroom Dome is incredibly charming, and hearing about it’s history from Kitty adds another element of awe to your experience. This was my friends’ and I first AriBnB experience, and we feel so lucky to have chosen such a perfect place. None of us stumbled across any issues with our stay, and our entire trip was smooth and enjoyable. If you find dates that work for you, I urge you to book, I can’t imagine anyone regretting this stay!

Kitty and Michael were great hosts! The property is beautiful and it was a treat to see all the humming birds. There are also many places to eat in the town near by. Overall it was a great weekend getaway.

Robin was awesome. Welcoming, hospitable, and just a great person. The view and treehouse were outstanding. The stay includes a very clean shower with towels, body wash, shampoo/conditioner. She made awesome muffins that were awesome to have in the morning as well as having A LOT of drinking water. We stopped at the Summit store just down the hill (short drive) and brought back food to eat with the view. The treehouse had full electricity and a heater. 10/10 highly recommend, great memory.

The treehouse was absolutely magical. On the night we arrived, it rained a little bit but we really enjoyed listening to the rain drops on the tent. It was amazing waking up to the view of the coast. Robin and Mark were awesome hosts! They even gave us a tour of their vineyard.

This place is perfect for a romantic weekend getaway, or a week long getaway. You overlook the water and the path to the beach is a quick 3 minute walk down. The view is unbelievable. You hang out on the cliff, engulfed by the glorious beauty of the forever pounding ocean. Leave your white noise machines at home. The melodic drum of the waves crashing is perfect for bed time as well as meditating on the glorious, sunsoaked deck. Seashells abound in the early morning. The tides bring in some especially fantastic jewels across the coastline.

The Sunset Cottage is the perfect place to unwind and relax on the beach. Gorgeous view and a cozy, quaint space to decompress away from it all! Thanks again Nonie!

WOW. If you're thinking the place is a little out of your price range, ask yourself what does a beautiful unique location on the beach mean to you. Then ask yourself, again, about all the times you might have tried to save a little. This is NOT one of those times!! The breathtaking views, comfy amenities and delicious, refreshing sounds and feel of rolling ocean waves make it all worthwhile. Indulge. Enjoy. You're worth it. You never know what you're missing, but this place is not to be missed. Monie's hospitality tops it all off with a healthy dose of comfort and accommodation.

Amazing little beach cabin! The cabin is set closer to the beach than most. Definitely a plus! It's tucked into the hillside and because of its position among some bonsai-like shrubbery, it turned out to be very private. The view and sunsets are spectacular! The cozy beach motif of the inside is well balanced with a large panoramic window sitting space and the cabin is well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, condiments, coffee, and teas - all the basics. The nights are silent, nothing but the sounds of the waves to fall asleep to. Truly paradise.

One of the best ocean view cottage I have stayed in. Nonie's beautiful nook is a dream come true. Outside patio with BBQ grill adds a special flavor to this place. Her cottage has been thoughtfully decorated with sea shells. Beach access is super easy and the whole unit has a lot of privacy. Simply loved it. Couldn't have found a more romantic place to celebrate our first anniversary.

The heater is a bit loud but keeps you warm. Bring your own movies if you wanna any as there is only a small selection. Other than that it’s a great and wonderful space. Very quiet and private. Neighbors don’t disturb you at all they keep to themselves. Only thing is at night it’s really hard to see the road to turn onto where the house is located so drive pretty slow

Adorable A-frame cabin in a gorgeous forest setting. The back deck was a lovely place to take in the scenery with trees all around and a stream below. Very private and peaceful. The space was cozy but comfortably slept 4 of us, with 2 in the queen bed loft upstairs and 1 on the single day bed and the other on the futon couch (both in the main living room). Cynthia was very responsive with any questions we had during a stay. I would absolutely come back!

Wonderful, quiet A-frame cottage in the redwoods right next to a lovely creek. It is a great place for a peaceful retreat. Cynthia is a great host and very responsive. Excellent hiking very close by at Henry Cowell State Park (huge redwood trees!) and Quail Hollow.

We had a wonderful stay at Cynthia's place. It was in a great location and had an amazing living room view into the trees. Cynthia was accessible and checked in with us, and gave great recommendations for things to do in the area. It was a great relaxing stay and would do it again!

This place is the perfect getaway for couples or solo travelers. The outdoor patio, fireplace and bathroom were the highlights of our stay. Highly recommend for anyone interested in a glamping experience.

Stephanie’s place was one of a kind. It was a great way to get into glamping since the place was very unique. The bed was extremely comfortable and the outdoor bathroom set up alone was already enough for us to book the place asap. I would definitely do it again however would take a car with higher clearance to get up a small steep hill

The bnb is as listed, Stephanie was great about making sure I could find the place. The bath house is just lovely and honestly the reason I booked the bnb. As long as you’re prepared to have basic amenities, it’s an absolutely lovely location in the redwoods where you can escape everyday life.

The outdoor bathhouse is absolutely magical!! I would stay here again just for the bath house. Stephanie also offered great recommendations on local food and was responsive and quick!

Cozy place with amazing outdoor tub

Super cool spot to stay in. I fell in love with the pictures because of the natural beauty of the area. I enjoyed my stay there. I will say the bathroom is not super convenient, but I knew that going in and did not mind at all, but if you’re someone who likes the comfort of the indoors it may not be for you. The location is a bit tricky, but if you keep your eyes peeled it’s fine. I overall really liked it and thought it was a fun and unique place to stay in.

There’s definitely a bit of Storybook to Patricia’s place. From the string of lights guiding you down the driveway to the persistent touches of handmade quality. The property is remote without being too far and makes the most of mountain sunrises.

The views were absolutely GORGEOUS, The hot tub and Sauna were extremely relaxing. Patricia was so sweet. Everything was perfect!

This place is awesome! The setting is beautiful and quiet, far away from any highway sounds. It was a really nice place touchdown after hiking in the Big Basin area or Santa Cruz. And the hot tub was a treat! Ws also got to use the sauna because Patricia built a fire for us( we didn't know how). It felt amaaaazing after feeling chilled from the weather. Pat was such a great host. She made us feel like this was our home away from home. She had some great recommendations on local places to eat , including a place not too far away called Nonno's , where they make delish pizza. It does take about at least 15- 20 mins to get to any bigger town with the windy mountain roads , but we knew that going into it. And, that makes this place special. I would highly reccomend it.

Patricia’s place was even better than the pictures. She is a wonderful person who made us feel right at home, and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable. The sauna was amazing and the hot tub under the stars was a magical experience. Highly recommended!

A nice place to escape!

Beautiful, serene, and picturesque. The hot tub is dreamy and the wood burning sauna was spectacular. The vegetation surrounding the whole place is luscious.

Unique. Beautiful and special, like something out of a story. Not like any vacation house we've ever stayed in.

Stay. Here. Make it a point to spend 2 or 3 days in this remarkable space. The treehouse is amazing, the hospitality is warm, and the opportunity to literally "get away from it all" is priceless. I knew it would be cool. I mean, c'mon, it's a TREEHOUSE. What I didn't know was how a weekend away from the kids could reignite my joyfulness.

Lovely treehouse with plenty of space and amenities to make your stay comfortable. Beautiful short hike to reach the treehouse. Only downside was that it was nosier than we expected with neighboring homes running saws, leaf blowers and even target practice... we could see a road and other homes so while it was private it was not isolated.

What a great place! A restorative weekend with girlfriends. Kitchen has great supplies for cooking and Mary Jane is very hospitable.

We had a short but sweet stay at Toni's place. The location is easy to find and Toni left us clear guide ahead of time. We loved the space and found it has all the amenities we need. We didn't get to meet Toni but her cookies were waiting for us at check-in. Will return again the next time we're in Santa Cruz.

Toni was very attentive to ensure we had everything we needed for our two day stay. The apartment was well located, and we had great access to downtown Santa Cruz, the wharf, and the West Cliff Drive.

My wife & I had reservations at Shadowbrook to celebrate our 1-year Anniversary, and just needed a comfortable, private place to stay for a night, so that we could make the most of our trip out of town. Toni's place was the perfect fit for us! The room felt very private, even though it was attached to the house, and the gel-top mattress made for a soft bed. The neighborhood is quiet & safe, and we enjoyed a 20-minute round trip walk to Coffeetopia in the morning. We appreciated that she included a lot of detail in the room description, gave clear instructions for checking in, and communicated well with us throughout the entire experience. Thank you so much!

Toni was the perfect hostess. She’s very communicative and even left out cookies for us. The location is very close to everything.

Booked late because of a power outage at my home. Toni responded very quickly and graciously met me to show me in. Comfy bed, cookies & coffee provided. It’s very close to restaurants and West Cliff Drive.

The studio/cottage is very sweet and had everything we needed. We especially appreciated being able to prepare meals there.

Maria was incredibly responsive. For example, I texted her at midnight the day before our stay asking if we could change our check-in time. She responded immediately and was very accommodating. We loved meeting the hens she lived with, they are very sweet and beautiful. The casita is a guesthouse in the back yard, which is basically a one room studio, but everything is very well organized and it feels like plenty of space. We had a wonderful time and would return if we came back to Santa Cruz.

This little casita is a jewel. The space is small but perfect for one person. I stayed a week this time for a solo writing retreat and the privacy and quiet were just what I needed to work. I love the old Wedgewood stove and could cook all of my meals with food I brought myself. That plus the discount for the week’s booking made it possible to give myself the gift of solitude, with the ocean nearby for evening walks at the end of the working day. Many thanks to Maria and Geoff for keeping this tiny space in good working order, clean and bright!

Maria’s casita is a true escape. Her lovely vintage decor and secluded location makes your feel like you’re in a private getaway! Maria truly goes out of her way to provide lovely touches throughout the house so you are not in need of anything. The kitchen and bathroom are stocked with everything you could want! Sue’s place is a beautiful little big place. She keeps it very clean. Gets a little cold at night but not to worry she keeps so many blankets to keep her hosts covered. I loved how she had everything, literally even down to different types of tea’s in a jar. She gave me great expectations for the next time I use Airbnb. I had an amazing stay for a first timer.

My partner is an architect and has very high standards. He loved staying here and has plans plans to make this his home away from home every time we are in Santa Cruz. The special touches showed up everywhere, from a top notch Jenn Air gas stove, to the exquisite claw foot bathtub. I booked the cottage based on the pics but the actual experience was even better! We loved staying here!! The fireplace was wonderful and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. We used the grill all three nights and met who I assume was Buttercup while grilling. 😁. The house felt very spacious while also being cozy. The location is great; it's a little bit out of town but only by a few minutes.

Ellen’s place was a great location, a block from the ocean and about a 5 min drive to the Santa Cruz boardwalk. It was a fun little neighborhood to walk around! The space was amazing as well! Very comfy bed, all your essentials, amazing bathroom with a heated floor and shower! She even left some chocolates and a few local beers for me in the fridge. I’d definitely stay again. This was the ideal location for us! Loved the easier-than-easy beach access, super cute neighborhood, insanely extensive climbing gym... the room is small but if you’re like us and spending your days outside in Santa Cruz, this is a great launching pad! Note the shared bathroom — it’s not a situation for everyone, but for us was fine, since Ellen was great at letting us know when we could expect her to hop in the shower so we could easily coordinate.

This place was better than expected. The host is sweet, thoughtful, and quick with responses. The place is cozy and very clean. It has most of what you will need with small thoughtful touches. Close to everything we wanted to see and do. We didn't travel more than 10 mins to the beach or to downtown. I would stay here again.

This place is so cute and cozy. It's tucked away in the hills of Santa Cruz, close to everything, and just a perfect location altogether. She let me know that it was small, but really, bigger than a hotel room with a well-stocked kitchen and a beautiful patio area. Much better value than a hotel, clean, and had everything my family could want for a weekend getaway. I would recommend, and I would stay there again.

We loved our stay at April’s! The place was clean and was just spacious enough for 3 adults and 2 children. Our couldn’t stop talking about the shower. The overhead shower was relaxing. The Cal-King bed was big and comfy. We would definitely rent this place again when we visit Santa Cruz!

Everything about the cottage was so nice - high quality new appliances in the kitchen area, nice furniture, and a really comfortable bed. The location is ideal - walking distance from pacific ave and the boardwalk. Overall excellent.

This is a real nice place to stay, a full kitchen, separate bedroom, nice bathroom, super quiet and private.

Centrally located to everything you could ever want in Santa Cruz. Private entrance and your own private deck makes it feel like royal treatment. Everything been recently renovated, and the cottage has a small, fully functional kitchen, complete with stove and dishwasher. I stayed for a week and I was extremely comfortable. The owner lives onsite and makes a wonderful hostess!

A nice quiet place, close enough to town if you can walk 10 blocks or more. My new favourite place ro stay, the bed is amazingly comfortable. A sweet little kitchen that worked so nicely for our breakfasts and warm ups. Was so cozy and warm when we came in from a day out. Loved it so much. Carla, we'll be back.

The check in for this space is super easy and Cynthia is very easy to communicate with - she answers quickly and efficiently. I needed somewhere to stay after I moved out of my apartment before my flight out of CA and this was perfect. Enough space that I wasn’t cramped but not too much, and it was spotless. On 7th this space was perfectly located for all of the errands I needed to run and close to 1 for the airport run. The location allowed me to avoid most all traffic. Everything you need is in the space and it’s a nice oasis with the gate and patio - feels like home!

This was the first Air bnb vacation my boyfriend and I have ever done and it was truly a 5 star experience! It’s super clean, well stocked with everything you may need including a fridge, and a microwave. The bath tub is super comfy and clean, definitely recommend.

Very modern yet welcoming spot to stay in Santa Cruz. Not super close to the beach but situated in between any activity you might want to do. Terry's place is connected to the suite however, there is a private entrance and she is a very quiet neighbor. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

Not much to say other than FANTASTIC. This airbnb was hands down better than the 4* hotel we'd stayed at in San Fransisco. Bathroom is a BIG PLUS. We'll try to book it again next time we're in Santa Cruz Steven and Kevin

Terry's Zen Retreat is one of the nicest places I've ever stayed, and I've stayed in many, many kinds of accommodations. The fixtures and furnishings are absolutely top of the line, so the place feels like a treat. The space was comfortable and spotlessly clean. All the amenities and extras were so thoughtful. I changed some of my plans for Santa Cruz because it was indulgent and wonderful to just stay in and relax in the room. I so highly recommend this place. I really hope I get to return soon.

Easily accessible neighborhood. Modern design with many thoughtful details. Water fountain, new and clean floors, countertops and furniture. Be aware there are a lot of rules that need to be followed on your stay. Overall nice little hidden getaway.

The place was close to everything. We rode our bicycles everywhere for a few days. It was a 10 minute ride to anywhere you wanted to go. Highly recommended.

Barbara's bungalow was perfect for the two of us. It was spotless. The bed was super-comfortable. Barbara provided very soft sheets and luxuriously soft towels. The kitchen has everything you would ever need. The unit is very quiet, and has beautiful furnishings with such an artistic touch. It is centrally located and close to the beach, hiking, grocery stores and much more. It has a private patio with lovely landscaping. She also had fresh fruit, snacks, oatmeal, coffee and tea for us when we arrived! What a nice touch! Barbara responded immediately to any question I had. We give this property our absolute highest recommendation!!! Thank you, Barbara for such a nice stay!!!

Full disclosure, our trip was taken over by falling ill the day of arrival and utilizing the space for recovery for the remainder of our stay. To that end, this review reflects our unexpected needs for recovery during our stay. Barbara was extremely communicative in every way. She checked in for our arrival time to best provide us with a convenient means of unloading via temporary use of the driveway. As a note, updates on your estimated arrival time will be appreciated. There was a bit of a mix up on payment of the $98 tax in cash upon arrival so be sure to place the cash in the envelope and the envelope into the black mailbox outside the bungalow door immediately upon arrival. Two individual space heaters were provided and much appreciated for our recovery. One is a radiator space heater, the other is a fan space heater. We found the fan space heater more effective and continuously moved it around with us in the unit. We always carry an extension cord and power strip with us and made good use of it to extend the reach of the heater. The unit had nearly everything we needed and Barbara quickly accommodated with anything else. We ended up requesting the following: new dish sponge, strainer, peeler, chopping knife, additional toilet paper, tissue box, and replacement garbage bags. A small pot and several pans are provided. Though I’m sure Barbara would have provided one had we asked, we brought our own large pot to make a big batch of soup. About halfway through our stay, Barbara offered to provide a fresh set of towels which we gladly accepted. A couple things to note for future guests: Ants do sometimes enter the unit. Traps are placed outside but just something to keep in mind. Wi-Fi hardly works in the bedroom so anticipate using it more in the other parts of the unit. The fire alarm will go off when cooking since there is no stove hood in the unit. To alleviate this, we would keep doors and windows open while one of us would fan the fire alarm while cooking. Also there is no dish drying rack which would be helpful if you plan to do a lot of cooking and dish washing but I’m sure one would have been provided if requested. Overall our stay was pleasant. We very much enjoyed the back patio when the sun was shining on it. Parking wasn’t a problem and the proximity to various attractions and necessities is phenomenal.

Kerstin’s beach cottage was incredibly clean and thoughtfully designed. The bed was ultra comfortable (on the firmer side, which I loved) and many little touches (pour over coffee, night light) won us over even more. We didn’t get a chance to meet her but her communication and the self check-in process made everything easy as the ocean’s breeze. We would definitely stay here again the next time we are in SC! Very nice space with everything you could need (space in closet and drawers, electric kettle, basic toiletries, TV, etc.)! Kerstin spotted us wandering slowly up the driveway and directed us toward the room. It is a bit tricky to find—glad the sun hadn’t set yet!—but she does a good job of describing the location in her check-in instructions.

Nice little place for good value. It's basically a master bedroom and bath connected to their house (a door separates you from the rest of the house and you enter via the back screen door). Location is cool - within walking distance of the ocean and the Wharf/Boardwalk/beach. Would stay here again.

This is about as close to the beach and the boardwalk as you can get, while still being quiet, calm, and safe. The place itself is stylish and homey, and we loved all the personal and thoughtful touches. Kendall was responsive and easy to communicate with.

Kendall is such a great host! The Wave House is a cute and cozy loft property that is perfect for any beach lover. We were greeted personally by Kendall and shown all of the features of the house. Everything was so well decorated and sparkling clean! The bed was so comfy and the whole space has such a warm feel to it. We made use of the kitchen for breakfasts and having a kettle was a nice touch. The plates and cups are beach themed with shells and starfish which add to the feel of staying at the Wave House. Being walking distance to the Boardwalk was exactly what we were looking for. Of course there are other places to stay near the Boardwalk but nothing we could find offered as much as this cozy place. We hope to be Kendall's guests again!

Kendall’s Wave house is a must-go-to spot in Santa Cruz! It is a prime location for a weekend at the boardwalk and the design+color scheme is all the indoor beach vibes you could ask for! Kendall is such a sweet host and it was a pleasure to meet her and stay at her place. The Wave house is hard to leave and I am already thinking of when I can come again for a girls weekend!

Caroline's is a historic, cheerful, well loved, peaceful home. We enjoyed sharing breakfast and learning about the area, eating her amazing homemade jam with our continental breakfast, and touring her lovely gardens She was clear, helpful and our room was light filled and comfortable with a view of the ocean in the distance. We would be happy to return!

Caroline is a wonderfully friendly host and shares lots of valuable recommendations. Her beautiful house is perfectly located to walk downtown or to grab an Uber bike and easily get to other parts of the city. If you can do without a kitchen, like waking up to beautiful sunrises with a view of the ocean in a very quiet yet centrally located place, Caroline’s is the perfect place for you. I stayed for almost a month and would return again in a heartbeat to stay in a place that felt like a home away from home. Thank you!

Veda’s place is a great place and space in the west side of Santa Cruz. It’s a very short walk to West Cliff drive to stroll along the beach. Stores, shops, bakery/coffee, restaurants are very nearby. Downtown and UCSC are short drives. It is located in a nice, quiet, safe residential neighborhood. The space inside is welcoming in design and function; spacious kitchen and living room, plenty of bed space and privacy, nice shower and bathrooms. The patio space in back has plenty of space, seating, and a very good gas barbecue. The house provided the perfect place for 4 lifelong friends to visit and reconnect. It would also be excellent for families or multiple couples.

The house is awesome, a few blocks away from Westcliff and the ocean, quiet cute street, cafes and restaurants in walking area (Westside), large kitchen and hangout area, great patio, we loved our stay! Thank you!

This was our 3rd family trip here. I love how the rental is set up for success— games, tvs, laundry, lots of blankets and towels, and a very well equipped kitchen where most of the plates and glasses are break-resistant (great feature if you have little kids in tow or even if you don’t!). Great location— the kids love going on early morning walks to the nearby park or a few blocks to the (inactive) train tracks, and it’s a short drive to the boardwalk.

Out of all of the Air Bnb’s I’ve stayed in, Jenna’s place is by far, my favorite. The space itself is airy and open, thoughtfully decorated and smells like an Aveda store which I personally loved. The furniture is comfortable, with lots of different places to sit and relax. The plants in the apartment add life and the energy in this space just cannot be beat. The bed is comfortable, and the bedding provides the perfect amount of warmth for a good night’s rest. I really loved how the fireplace in the apartment provides all of the heat you need. The bathroom had lots of space to place your own toiletries, with some left out for you to use. I really appreciated the personal touches, such as the note that was left for me, the fresh flowers, chocolates on the bed, granola and yogurt in the fridge and the bottle of wine Jenna left out. It really added to the peaceful, welcoming vibe that I felt the entire time I was in Santa Cruz. Check in and check out was easy and Jenna was super responsive and friendly via text. Located just a few minutes from UCSC, and close to lots of great coffee shops and eateries, Jenna’s apartment is definitely a great place to call home if you’re visiting town. Thanks so much, Jenna! I can’t wait to come back!

I absolutely LOVED staying here! As soon as I opened the door, the house felt as if it was welcoming us in. There is a super homey feel to the decor - books, unique pieces of artwork & comfy blankets, there was a bottle of wine & chocolate, tiny chocolates on our pillows & a bouquet of flowers with a nice welcome note encouraging us to help ourselves to the tangerines on the tree outside (we DEFINITELY took advantage of this!). While there is no oven, we found that using the stovetop sufficed and it gave us an opportunity to explore the restaurant recommendations they provided (Ristorante Avanti for the win!). I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of care Jenna put in to making sure we had everything we needed - keeping in close contact, responding very quickly to any queries we had, giving solid recommendations - and also providing extra tidbits throughout the house (oatmeal packets with fresh granola & berries on the side, quality teas & coffees, popcorn for movie nights, etc). For the ladies, there were also a ton of quality hygiene/care products to utilize in the event you forgot your own, even a straightener & curling iron! I didn't use these but it was nice to see that they were provided. Really, I only have two small suggestions for improvements; First, some sound proofing or something along those lines so that the heels (above the bedroom) and the garage door/car doors (right next to the bedroom) aren't as loud. Secondly, there is a staircase covered by a large curtain that leads up to a door with access to the rest of the house. Although it wasn't a huge deal, for a bit more peace of mind, it would have been great to be able to lock the door from our side of the house. Overall, we cozied up pretty quickly and found that whether we were sitting on the patio enjoying mimosas or curling up next to the fire with a book, we felt relaxed and at home. Santa Cruz was awesome to explore and we enjoyed the restaurants and activity recommendations that Jenna & Gavin provided. We'll definitely visit again!

Beautiful home, wonderful hosts, perfect location!

Our stay at Jenna and Gavin's beautiful apartment was just perfect! We've stayed in a lot of AirBnBs over the last 8 years and we felt this was in the top 5% of nicest places, with wonderful amenities that went above and beyond, and super helpful hosts. The place was so well-appointment, and Jenna and Gavin left so many thoughtful touches, like wine and chocolate, yogurt and granola to enjoy, and well organized, fresh cooking supplies like olive oil and spices. It was extra special to enjoy fresh citrus they had picked for us from their trees right outside! We especially enjoyed how comfortable the bed and the linens were, and the apartment was so cozy. It was chilly and we enjoyed the fireplace every day, and took advantage of the bikes to ride along the West Cliff Drive path, which was a lovely perk. From a location perspective, we had a rental car and everywhere we needed to go was within 10 mins or less from the house. We highly recommend this apartment and would absolutely stay again when we next visit Santa Cruz. Thank you Jenna and Gavin for such a relaxing and beautiful stay!!

Me and my hubby loved this place. It’s had a great location, only 40min from Monterey. Checking in and out was a breeze. Also loved all the amenities it had and the aquarium passes were a plus. Definitely recommend and would stay here again.

Georgia was so great in communicating with us before and during our stay to making sure everything is perfect! We even made the mistake of booking a day late of our arrival and luckily, she came to the rescue for an early check in. This location is without a doubt the best we’ve ever had in Santa Cruz. Right down the street from West Cliff Drive, best for long walks and sunsets. Quiet neighborhood and no outside distractions. The room has a mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave and even a Bluetooth speaker which was used quite often. Fit to our expectations all around and then some. Thank you Georgia!

Great experience in a great location. Easy to get around downtown and lots of transportation available. A bit of a set back with getting our rental car forced us to use alternative means to get around but it couldn't have been easier. Dianne was super helpful and welcoming. BEST AIRBNB in Santa Cruz , CA !! Cute clean very secure compared to where we live the area was very calm and quiet ! The Amenities at this BNB were outstanding ! Definitely a perfect couples getaway spot ! Also the bed is amazing and soooo comfortable!! This was amazingly priced and such a great place for our getaway ! I definitely suggest this place !!!

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights during a trip to UCSC. Admittedly the area is rough (as accurately described in the host's description), but once you get in to the unit it's fantastic. The noise was nowhere near as bad as I expected. Even on Friday/Saturday night you really couldn't hear very much once you're inside the unit. The unit is fantastic-- you can tell they take a lot of pride in the space. There's tons of thoughtful touches throughout (extension cables below the TV in case you need, printed directions on how to reset the heater in case you need, extra blankets if needed, etc). It was very clean, had lots of silverware/plates/etc, full size refrigerator, etc. The unit is on the small side, but really feels cozy. We had a great stay and would recommend to anyone!! Thanks so much!

A good place to stay while you visit the area.

I enjoyed my stay in Bright and Cheery Living's place. It had everything I needed for a comfortable stay in a very convenient location. It's situated next to a donut shop and near to a main thoroughfare so earplugs are important to have on hand at night. But the room itself feels snug and secure. I slept very well on the comfortable bed.

One of the cleanest and coziest Airbnbs at which I've stayed. The host is very communicative and friendly, and he lives on-site to help with any issues. The shower is divine! Nice free standing gas stove in the living room cranks out heat. The space has plenty of light and immaculately clean. We loved the location, close to downtown but also numerous natural food stores, restaurants, and mountain biking trails.

The house was very clean and accommodating. The location is really close to the beach but the photos kinda indicate that it’s a little like walking directly out the door into the beach. I didn’t realize it’d be a short walk, which was fine. I think I would’ve preferred a little clarification. Anyway, the water heat and pressure was spectacular and there weren’t any surprises which I like.
