The owner of this log home, Joseph, was very helpful and responsive. I am very picky and I found the facilities to be everything that it claimed to be, a clean, comfortable and fairly new rustic log home. If you are looking for a nice get away from the hustle and bustle of your hectic life and a place to experience rural Maine, this is the place. Rome, Maine is a very cute community and the people are very friendly. I would rent again.

Tranquility on Long Pond is just that. A classic New England view of still waters through a scattering of trees from the screen porch of a spacious and modern Maine log house cabin. We came here to visit friends and relax having long wanted to get away in the Belgrade region. Nestled on Tracy Cove on the north end of Long Pond, there's calm waters to kayak and or row - water craft provided in the summer; in the winter the ice and snow seem to stretch on forever and ice fishing is definitely a thing in the Oakland area. The full size wood stove along with new furnace and baseboard heating keep it plenty warm in the winter. A full kitchen, well stocked and ready to cook and serve meals for a groups up to 6 or more. The three queen size beds and 2 single beds were freshly made and towels provided. Both bathrooms are up to date, squeaky clean with good water pressure and plenty of hot water. Joe was responsive and accurate in all communications and the directions provided the day before arrival were spot on. The house feels larger than it is and is less than a 1/8 mile from the main road. Local services include the obligatory Day's general store with a single (functioning) gas pump, the local pub and grub is the Sunset Grill and a little higher up on the dining scale the Village Inn - all worthwhile establishments to support by keeping it local. We are looking forward to a return visit before too long.

A really beautiful house, very welcoming, immersed in a beautiful nature between forest and lake. Joseph has done everything possible to make the house livable from the first moment, with manual instructions to avoid problems of any kind. Suitable for large families or 2 medium-sized families (up to 10 people). It is a mountain chalet (or cabin) in which we have experienced a sunny spring week. Again congratulations to Joseph!

My husband and I stayed in Joe’s cabin while we were in town for a wedding, and we had a wonderful time. The cabin is tucked away in the trees, with a beautiful view of the lake, and it’s spacious, comfortable, and quiet. We slept well and enjoyed the peaceful setting. Joe is a responsive and thoughtful host. Highly recommended!

Sylvia was very accommodating. She went out of her way to provide me with breakfast that worked with my dietary restrictions. The room is cozy and the bed is very comfortable.

This is a remarkable airbnb-- outstanding for its service, especially for the economical price. It is a small room in a small house, so you need to be comfortable with the comings and goings of the small family and the two big friendly dogs...or if you wish to spend a lot of alone time in your cozy room with heater, Sylvia will respect that as well. The really outstanding part of it is your hostess sylvia, who is more sensitive and attentive to the needs of her guests than practically any airbnb hostess I've seen. She is a native French canadian, speaks fluent french and italian and english,

Sylvia is a very nice host. We had some funny talks and shared our travelling experiences. The room is spacious and homey. The heater is pretty strong and hot. The only thing is the address that means you need to focus on the road and carefully see the intersection. Very easy to drive over the place. Anyway, five stars. Highly recommend！

If you're reading this, stop, and book this place. I too searched many listings, and I too read the good reviews of Kate's place. They are true. This is an amazing experience. Kate's cabin is a modern and very clean space with a view. We travelled from Boston up the Maine coast during the winter, and then down the New Hampshire Mountains. It was a sublime trip with amazing views, and we can only wish we could spend more time there. We had amazing food on the way. The best lobster rolls at Red Barn 30 minutes away and many more other experiences. Snowshoeing in the quiet forest gave us a silence that we have never heard before. Never did we realize the world can be so quiet. You could not hear a thing, and it's a feeling you just have to live for yourself in the winter. That being said, the activities are much limited in the winter, so expect a more quiet and less activity filled stay. Board games and fireplace are excellent touches. One concern: We arrived right after sunset, and it was dark enough that us city dwellers were a little creeped out. Beware fellow city dwellers! I do wish some of the front windows and doors had some screens, since we're not used to an atmosphere so "one" with nature. A couple curtains would really help with privacy and coziness!

I feel so fortunate to come across this listing...it was the perfect cabin get away, as the other reviewers stated you could not do the views justice in the pictures. I felt as if I was sleeping in the tree tops and the views of the ME mountains were breath taking. Kate has left many very thoughtful touches, to the uniqueness to the cabin and all the amazing work done on clearing trails. Something wonderful to be said about snow shoeing right out your front door to 3 very well marked and maintained trails. It was just the right touch if you needed to get out for a bit but didn't want to drive. Thank you for sharing such a beautiful peaceful place with us!

Michaels cabin on the lake was a great spot for our girls getaway! We enjoyed the beautiful view of the lake and the fire pit while watching the loons. The cabin was clean and had all that we needed.

This was a spectacular hidden little gem. Words and pictures, don't even begin to say or show just how wonderful it was there. My husband and I were beyond happy with our stay there. It was such a wonderful surprise to get the beautiful flowers for our anniversary. We loved the sunrises on both days that we were there and the beauty of nature and it's sounds. There was still some wonderful foliage to see. We definitely want to go back again and hopefully bring another couple with us. And we definitely highly recommend this place to any and everyone, especially if you are looking for a wonderful place for a getaway.

Lovely home by the water! Michael and Karen are outstanding hosts! They are very thoughtful - my husband and I booked for the weekend for a little getaway and they left us a bottle of Prosecco, which we appreciated. In addition, since the water is not potable, they had left us a gallon of fresh water. The cabin itself is beautiful, very well decorated and cozy. Perfect for relaxing and taking time away from the noise of everyday city life. My husband and I love birds, and it was wonderful to find a pair of binoculars since we forgot ours at home. We got to see a couple of loons and a bald eagle! We had a wonderful time and strongly recommend Michael and Karen’s cabin!

This cabin is the quintessential “cabin on the lake.” The decor is rustic but with all the modern comforts of home. The views are spectacular. It is the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway!

Wonderful spot with tons of stuff to do right down the road. The lake is almost right outside the door. The yurt was spacious, cozy, and really easy to keep warm in. The amenities of gas powered stove and grill, ample firewood, and a sink for cleaning dishes made this a great camp out for our kids! We loved canoeing on the serene lake!

The most lovely place to be in nature, no matter the weather . I listened to the waves on the lake as I fell asleep and was able to look up at trees through the sky light upon waking . I encountered a deer as I took a stroll in the woods. The yurt gives me a chance to get rebalanced and feel at peace . I can’t wait to be there again .

Lyn and Bruce are an example of PERFECT AirBnb hosts!!! Communication was amazing from beginning to end. When I checked in, they made it clear that I could call (upstairs) with any questions or if I needed anything. Their basement apartment is quintessential Maine, complete with stunning views of mountain sunrises and sprawling night stars!!! They have thought of everything for the comfort of their guests, including snacks and breakfast items to start you out. If you are looking for a place to stay in the Wilton/Farmington area, look no further. This is it!!!

Linda was an amazing host, she was there to welcome us to the place and was very accessible if we ever needed something.

Linda's place was very cozy and very clean. The bed matress was amazing, both me and my daughter said that we didn't want to get out of for being so comfortable, even for me who I normally like firm mattresses. Linda had thought of everything a guest may need including emergency items such as nail filers, Tylenol (which I was so grateful Linda had thought of), treats and breakfast items. My kids loved the space as well! Excellent host! Thank you Linda!

Staying in “Home away from home” was a pleasure. Our hosts provided everything what we needed so we could fully enjoy our skiing. We hope we can stay at Linda’s place again soon!

We had such a wonderful, relaxing vacation staying at Nina's place! The view is spectacular, right on the water, and the site is within driving distance to quite a few hiking trails with stunning views (we did French Mountain, Round Top Mountain, and "The" mountain trails) We took a canoe trip out to Oak island and paddled right past loons. Another day, an eagle flew past and roosted in the tallest pine at the point of the cove for a while. My oldest son was transfixed, and kayaked right out to the bottom of the tree to have a closer look. I swear the eagle was looking right back at him. The kitchen had all the supplies we needed for cozy dinners in (we brought the week's worth of groceries with us, no large store nearby, though Day's store in town has almost anything you need in a pinch) and we had family card games by the woodstove every evening. I was able to read an entire book and catch a nap or two, we found time to do some watercolor paintings, and just have really high quality screen-free time together. The bunk rooms were practically custom made for our two boys and two girls The entire family was over the moon about the entire experience. Highly recommend for a nice family getaway!!!

Nina's lake house is just simply wonderful. Her house has lots of loons decorations from the lampshades and tiny models of loons to full on beautiful pictures of loons. You can also clearly hear the loons at night while in bed with a full view of the lake and sun roof that gives you a look at the pines. Nina was extremely sweet from the very beginning, she called us to make sure we got in properly and suggested a few things that we can do around the area. There were lots of kayaks and paddle boards etc which we were free to use. We got lost in the lake on the day of checkout but Nina and her help were extremely nice and understanding about the whole business. I would highly recommend!!

This was our 3rd stay at this cottage on Echo Cove and whether its been just the two of us or we've had a few of our children with us, we relax the minute we walk in. Its a beautiful quiet setting right on the lake and the cottage itself has such welcoming, comfortable public spaces. Naps in the window seats can't be beat! Its really a perfect spot to come recharge your batteries.

Stayed at Erica’s place for a few nights and had a very pleasant stay. Plenty of privacy as the house is basically split into two parts. I used the house as a base for skiing Sunday River/Sugarloaf and for some snowmobiling. The TV was nice to have to sit back and enjoy a movie at the end of a long day. Kitchen and dining room always available for coffee/tea and for cooking your own food if needed. Erica was extremely hospitable and nice to talk to. Can’t beat the friendly cat as well, who is always looking for a warm body to cuddle with. Great spot!

Super great stay perfectly located around the mountains and farming spots with a quaint down town. Their home was so adorable. Entire loft to yourself. They go by a pick up after yourself policy that I wish I knew before hand. Aside from that it was peaceful and beautiful and their amenities were fabulous. Amazing book collection and games

Great spot for a weekend getaway!

Perfect hidden cozy place to get away from the nouse

We loved every moment of our stay! I don't think I have ever been more relaxed. You'll be surrounded by trees and water and wont see a soul while you're there. The nightly train, the acorns dropping, the call of the loons, the hissing & popping of the wood stove and fire pit are some of the coziest sounds ever. The propane camp stove worked like a champ. We brought it outside on the deck railing for some outdoor cooking. The water access is very private so we ended up skinny dipping. We did yoga on the deck, bush whacked through the woods, explored the train tracks and just breathed in the clean open air. We drove a Chevy Volt and were just fine on the road. We went 5mph and carefully maneuvered the car over the roots. This is a tranquil spot to relax and expand into nature if that is your cup of tea. It was definitely ours.

This was my second visit to John's cabin and it was even better than what I remembered from my first! I arrived a bit later than anticipated and ran out of sunlight before finding the road in, John was super quick to respond to ensure all was well when I reached out to him. The driving trail had a few sticky spots and ground clearance would have been helpful, but I just took it easy in my car and didn't have any issues. Everything is exactly as listed and described (minus the gas grill in the pics— bring charcoal!) so there shouldn't be any surprises. I would agree with the suggestion of bringing whatever you think you'll want and need as if on a camping trip and you should be golden. Pro Tip: A strand of battery-powered LED lights adds a lovely ambiance when it gets dark. Or just let the stars do the work! :) I find John's place to be a great balance of quiet and secluded while still having the convenience of anything you may need within a close driving distance if necessary. I would highly recommend it if you're looking to comfortably step back from civilization for a bit and spend some time in nature.

UNBELIEVABLE stay at this beautiful cabin. My boyfriend and I got a nice little getaway to unwind and relax. He was skeptical with the no electric or actual bathroom but that ended up being our favorite part. You're really forced to switch up your daily routine. The road to the cabin comes up quick so you really need to keep your eyes open but when you find it you’ll know. Will 100% be back. Enjoy your stay!

Great place! I’m not sure how people could find anything to complain about. If you’re careful driving down the dirt road, you’ll arrive at an awesome little cabin overlooking the water. Great fire pit and deck to relax on. 5 stars!

Check in/check out couldn’t have been easier (despite us arriving late and leaving very early), the bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was clean, cozy, and easily accessed with a bathroom attached. Nicely renovated home on dead end street, perfect for sleeping in. Super cute and friendly cats...don't worry, they won't wake you up. I have allergies and had no problem with them here, the home is very clean. Also so warm and cozy on a cold night!

Michelle's place was great. Everything was clean and organized with plenty of beach towels, bath towels, games, and dishes. The bed was comfy and the decor was cute. We really enjoyed the large screened in porch and the little floating dock on the water. It was nice to play cards, read, or have a couple drinks on the porch without getting bothered by bugs. We saw quite a few loons and enjoyed hearing them in the evening. Sandy and Jeff were very nice and helpful fixing one problem we had quickly. Suggestions... bring water shoes as there are leaves, rocks, pine needles and such when entering the water. If you have kayaks/paddle boardsbring them too. The lake was so peaceful and calm!

The home came with amazing detail and tips. The property was absolutely perfect for a getaway. The lake it is on had great fishing and little traffic. Would recommend.

The pictures don’t do this place justice! We really enjoyed staying here. It’s nice and kid-friendly, and the hosts were very thoughtful in the amenities they provided. We enjoyed swimming off the dock most every day, and the screened in porch was perfect for relaxing in the evenings. We definitely recommend this place! My only suggestion is make sure to print or screenshot the important information, like address, WiFi password, etc, because you may not have phone service once you arrive at the cabin to look the information up!

Randell and Pamela’s place was amazing. This cabin is so cute & was perfect for the four of us to sleep after a long day of skiing! It was right in the middle of sugarloaf and sunday river so it made for the best of both worlds. The photos do not do this place justice- it is SUCH a awesome little cabin with plenty of space for everything even with its size! The sunrise view in the morning was also amazing. While we stayed, we got some awesome local tips from the hosts & found a cool brewery in the woods for some apres ski pizza & beer with live music and good people. The price of this place was GREAT & it had everything we needed & more! Would definitely come back & would recommend to stay!

Randell and Pamela's place is great! Cozy and comfortable and with a great view in the morning. It is a wonderful place in the winter and would also be a wonderful place in the summer! We were headed to northern Maine and it was a great halfway point for us that was easy to get to and not too far off the main drag.

I have been driving through Maine since 2015 and noting its beauty and the hospitality of the people. I wanted an opportunity to stay in one of those tucked away homes in the woods. After 4 years of drivebys this experience and home is what I was wanted to experience. I loved the garden, frog pond, grounds, and the unique architecture of this wonderful and cozy home. Friendly people were everywhere we ventured. I only wish we had time to enjoy one of those lakes in a canoe and a church service. I will fondly recall this place and the open roads when I am back in the city fighting thru traffic.

The Skep house was amazing! What an interesting and thoughtfully crafted home. Libby was a great host and the garden was so peaceful for a weekend away.

The place is full of unique character, with a collection of bird nests to clocks, pillows, and antiques. You are surrounded by nature, the soft sounds of the creek, and once in a while, you will hear an owl at night. I slept mostly in the den that is surrounded by screens, which made me feel close to nature and in the early morning, I spent my time writing in the gazebo. Libby and AO are quite a delight. AO works in his workshop that is in the front yard and Libby is easily reached at any time. You are close to Farmington and Belgrade. Augusta and Hellowey only 40-minutes away.

The space and location are lovely! Everything is gorgeous and the garden is a great place to walk around in! Highly recommend this house for a quick stay!

We loved the house! It was super comfortable with everything you would need and then some more like games and coffee! The yard and deck looked like it would be a lot of fun to use in the summer. We would definitely go back there. Communication with Justin was easy and fasttt when we had questions. We met one neighbor even who was so kind! Highly recommend!

Took a trip up to north pond to Justin’s cabin to ice fish. It was perfect for me and my buddy’s to have easy access to the lake and a warm dry place to sleep and eat. No running water but we made the best of it. Nice place to rough it for a couple day’s. The wood stove works great!!!

Wonderful wood cabin on the seven lakes region of Rome Maine. Close to hiking and mountain bike trails. Well appointed home with great hosts!

Sarah's house was beautiful! Everything felt very comfortable like I was staying in my own home! If you want privacy this is a great place. We had a great time fishing on Long Pond, caught tons of sunfish right from the dock! Also caught some large mouth bass and a couple of perch! The dock was very convenient for our boat and Long Pond is gorgeous! Right from your dock is nearly 20 feet deep perfect for jumping in! It is a bit far to your nearest grocery store but Flyingpond Variety has alot of stuff! We enjoyed Days Store in Belgrade which has an ice cream parlor that you can boat to as well! All around this was a great vacation and would return in the future!

This is a beautiful cabin in a quiet, serene location on Ling Pond. If you want to get away from it all, this is it. The cabin is nicely furnished and very clean. The sunrises from the 2nd floor deck are lovely! Large open living area on second floor and 3 bedrooms & bathroom on first floor as described. A truly awesome place.

This is a beautiful home, I wouldn't describe it as a "camp". Everything you could possible want or need is in the kitchen. The host even left some k-cups and snacks for us. The home is very open with high ceilings and just lovely! There are some views of the water from the deck, but this home does sit up high on a mountain. The pathway down is long and steep and you will get your daily exercise coming back up, but once down by the dock the view is spectacular and the lake/pond is just amazing. We hated to leave this little bit of paradise. You can rent a small boat with engine across the water at Castle Island Camps which we did for 3 days, which allows you to go to Days store in just a few minutes.

Beautiful views, peaceful surroundings, kind neighbors and the locals are extremely friendly and helpful. Our favorite was the Old Post Office Cafe (Breakfast & lunch) and for a fabulous meal The Village Inn & Tavern in Belgrade Lakes! We shopped at the Flying Pond Variety Store. Their bakery had great breads & pizza!

Stay was perfect. The house is on a hill providing a perfect of the sunrise. The hike to the private dock is steep however Sarah informed us of this prior to our booking which we appreciated. The kitchen was well stocked and left us needing nothing. Sarah was very accommodating and quick to respond any questions that arose during our stay. Thank you for some amazing memories!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is nicely furnished and very comfortable. Excellent dining facilities. Comfortable table and seating and every cooking utensil you might need. Beds have nice linens and are comfortable. We hope to stay again soon.

Host was friendly, and very responsive. The location and accommodation itself worked great for a weekend skiing in Maine. Room was clean, comfortable and very warm, with access to everything needed on a weekend stay. Would definitely return on future trips!

Great location, just a few minutes outside of downtown! If you're in the area for a few days this apartment is much more spacious and private than a motel, perfect for parents visiting their kids at UMF! Bob & Kathy responded quickly to any inquiries we had, very accommodating!

This was our second time at Tir Owen and we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere just as much this time! The setting is perfectly secluded and scenic. Pat has made some updates to the interior which show his pride of ownership and were a nice touch! Nearly everything you could need is provided. We hope to return again next year!

This was our Second trip to Pat’s, so it was exactly what I expected, wanted, needed! We so hope to go again next year! Pat thanks so much! Cabin is a dream, water is amazing, we had a few visitors during our two week stay, and when not kayaking, canoeing, or just swimming , we cooked on grill, and sat by fire pit. Hammock was always a great spot to nap.

Very cute, rustic “camp” right on flying pond. The location is perfect. Watching the lake from the screened in porch or from a fire in the fire pit is the perfect end to a day on the lake fishing or swimming. I will definitely return.

We stayed 4 nights at this amazing cottage directly on Great Pond. It was sparking clean, quiet, and the perfect selection for a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The host was super responsive on any questions, and had great recommendations on things to do, and places to eat. We will definitely return!

I’ve stayed at numerous places and Britt was by far the l most accommodating and best host I’ve ever had. So quick with her communication and her hospitality was unmatched, she had a special gift waiting for us when we checked in which was such a nice touch. Also the book that they put together for all the visitors about every single detail about the house and the area was so convenient. It will be the first place i try to rent again in the area.

As a native to Central Maine, I know the Belgrade Lakes and the area quite well. Britt's cabin definitely exceeded my expectations and what you typically find for rentals on Great Pond. Not only was she immediately responsive and helpful when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the house but the cabin itself was beautifully kept and up to date. Selfishly, I was almost reluctant to tell you how great this experience was because I want the cabin all to myself next year! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Such a beautiful cabin on Great Pond. Britt is a wonderful host, and the cabin is comfortable, clean, and in a great location on the lake. We spent our time swimming, fishing, playing games, and having campfires. Would recommend this place for sure!

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. It was a beautifully decorated classic Maine Cabin!! Just what we had hoped for. The lake was so fun, kids enjoyed swimming, boating and water skiing!! Hearing the loons was so neat. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with us, we loved it and hope to come back next year!

Our family had a great time at this camp. The exterior and interior of the camp is beautiful. The lot is secluded and mostly shaded. Western views with sunset. Large area of the lake for water skiing and tubing. Exactly the kind of quiet rental we were looking for.

Donna’s cabin was the perfect place for my partner and I to stay for a weekend visiting the nearby college Colby (less than a 20 min drive!). The views of the place are lovely, situated on the pond. It was extremely peaceful to wake up and step outside to breathe in the crisp, autumn, Maine air. The home was perfect for us, for our 2 day stay. We could certainly come back again, perhaps even with additional guests, since the second bedroom had 3 beds in it. Thanks, Donna!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Griffin’s Roost for an anniversary weekend away and it was perfect! Donna was a great host, along with her co host Mark. Check in was very easy and they were accommodating to our arrival time/responsive to questions. There was plenty of firewood for fires down by the water and the view was stunning with lots of the fall colors. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you’ll need for cooking in. Lots of trails for possible hiking near by. We did the Round Top Trail with our puppy which was a nice easy hike. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Donna’s home was amazing for our family. Our son and dog loved playing in the lake and we loved the secluded feel of the home. Would go back again and again.

The perfect getaway. Mark was very responsive and helpful. The location was beautiful. Kayaking, fishing, swimming or just sitting out by the fire pit at night - a great getaway with my family that we will cherish. Beautiful cabin with lots of character right on the lake only 15 minutes from New England Music Camp (NEMC), so it’s an *ideal* location for camp drop off/pick up weekends! *Very* responsive, helpful, friendly hosts. There were 2 kayaks right out the back door by the water, ready to go—life jackets and paddles as well (kept inside). The wifi connection, cooking utensils, fridge, microwave, stove, and dishwasher were awesome. Big TV in the living room—our son LOVED that it had Netflix. He binge-watched the entire Season 3 of Stranger things in 2 days! Oh and ladies, the master bath isn’t “fancy,” BUT the shower is a good size and it has a built-in SHOWER BENCH at the end!! (So, plenty of room for all of our products and a spot to prop up our legs while shaving!). Yay! :) Thx for letting us stay at your home Mark and Donna. Really appreciate your hospitality.

Griffins Roost on East Pond is an oasis. Situated near a boys camp, it was private, and the loons called out daily. We had so much fun in the kayaks! Having the one and a half baths was a plus and the kitchen was perfect for cooking lobsters and late breakfasts.

We came to stay for four days while our boys attended a local basketball camp, and we had a wonderful time. The home feels very much like a camp - with a beautiful, updated kitchen complete with modern appliances - and the views of the water were so pretty. There were plenty of beds for sleeping, and the two bathrooms were a definite plus for our family of five. We loved that we had waterfront access and yet were still less than ten minutes from the downtown area. And despite the fact that neighbors were nearby, we never heard them - we did, however, hear the loons each morning and evening! Overall, it’s a beautiful spot at an incredible price, and both Donna and Mark were wonderful hosts. We’re looking forward to returning again!

What an exceptional host in a wonderful B&B ! We were treated like King & queen with a heartwarming welcome , all for our comfort and an excellent healthy breakfast ! We definitely recommend the place !!!

The friendly greeting and delicious breakfast definitely added to our visit in Belgrade. Lots of nice touches in the room - extra lightbulb, attractive decor, shampoo etc. in the bathroom. The location is excellent - a hop, skip, and jump from downtown Belgrade Lakes.

Jeff and Tami were extremely helpful and friendly. The location was convenient to walking to town and to the lakefront. The house is welcoming and cozy.

We stayed at Wings Hill for one night at the end of our week long trip to Maine. We were in Belgrade Lakes to play golf and the location of the Inn was perfect! It’s right across the street from Long Pond which has a great sunset, a very short walk to Day’s store which has great sandwiches & ice cream, and about 3/4 mile to Belgrade Lakes Golf Club. Jeff & Tami were great hosts! They are so sweet and have thought of everything you might need for your stay. The Arbor Suite was perfect, the bed was comfortable, the room was spotless, and the private bathroom with claw foot tub was really nice. Jeff & Tami brought us some awesome cookies and iced tea upon our arrival, which was a nice touch. Breakfast and coffee on the front porch the in the morning was delicious! We look forward to staying at Wing’s Hill Inn again next time we are in town.

We were so happy with Wayne's cozy cabin. The view of the lake is breathtaking and you have everything you need within a 15minute drive. The cabin itself has a real homey feel, with a fireplace and loft. Wayne is quick to respond and very helpful.

Been coming up to the Belgrade Lakes for 20+yrs and this did not disappoint. The loons at night were incredibly peaceful.

This place is a little sick of heaven!! The view is breathtaking, the lake is clean and so incredibly quiet! We were so sad to leave when our time was up!

Wayne's cottage is in a lovely location - a peaceful escape with plenty of natural beauty. This is a classic, rustic Maine lake camp. Be prepared for the sounds of loons, frogs and birds! We saw heron, hawks, and bald eagles. The swimming and kayaking was great. We had such great weather, we didn't venture much from camp, but chose to enjoy our days floating and paddling in the sunshine. It's Maine, so bring your bug spray!

Cant beat this place.. sparkling clean, much privacy, and the price is un heard of for your own place with air conditioning and 2 tvs! Gary is a perfect gentleman and very helpful towards his guests. I actually booked his place the day of arrival and showed up un expected, Gary dropped everything he was doing to get the place ready and make sure he could accomodate me my wife and the dog. A+ rating deffintely reccomend the place, also perfect for dogs

It was so comfortable for the two of us. Had its cute oddities that made it interesting and enjoyable. The Hosts were amazing and did not seem to be bothered when we bothered them. Had information for the area and offered info as they found out our interests. The internet service was very good and not slow. Very clean. Had all the utensils needed for cooking on the stove or out on the grill. I would definitely go back.

Will definitely stay here again if I'm in the area. Highly recommended.

A quiet, pleasant out-of-the-way retreat in a beautiful setting.

Clean and thoughtfully appointed. Checkin/out was easy and hosts were prompt in their communication. The trails on the property connect up with larger snowmobile trails that lead to north pond & other local landmarks.

You can expect such a gorgeous view and perhaps THE most relaxing time while at their cabin! My husband and I loved our time there and we cannot wait to return.
