The Casita on the Rocks was superb – clean, very very quiet & cozy. The bed was comfortable and I could live in the shower room. Ideal location in the foothills of the San Jacinto mountains – and super close to everything. 20 minutes to Downtown Palm Springs, 20 minutes to Iron Palm Tattoo Parlor, 25 minutes to La Quinta, 10 minutes to Sunnylands, and walking distance to Las Casuelas Nuevas and to The Fisherman’s Restaurant & Bar. Heather & Omar are not only gracious and accommodating hosts – they are probably the nicest people in all of Rancho Mirage. We’ll definitely be back.

The casita was perfectly appointed, clean, quiet and very comfortable. The location was great too... a nice, quiet neighborhood in the foothills but just a couple of blocks from Highway 111, which is the main road through the desert communities, making it very quick and easy to get around. Central location in Rancho Mirage, convenient to downtown Palm Springs and Palm Desert.

This guest house was exactly what we were looking for. You get a private little updated casita with gorgeous views, pool and spa in a quiet little neighborhood it feels like your own private little resort, absolutely amazing value. We will probably plan a trip back to palm desert just to stay here again because omar and heather made us feel at home and the accommodations are perfect.

My boyfriend and I went out for Coachella. All I can say is that Heather and her husband were the greatest of hosts. We were able to come and go as we pleased, they offered us to utilize their pool and hot tub, they were friendly and available. The place was really comfortable and it was much more than we expected. Overall a great experience, we definetly look forward to visiting again!

This is a wonderful little pied-a-terre in the Palm Springs area. I rented it for my daughter and she and her partner loved being there and had nothing but great things to say about their experience. Highly recommended.

Me, wife and toddler daughter had a great stay. Great secluded location in the desert, nice views of hills in the neighborhood. Easy access to lots of shops & restaurants within 10 minute driving distance. Great pool and hot tub! The hosts Heather and Omar were great, very accommodating and helpful. Modern washer and dryer in the private casita was an excellent amenity.

Rusty was such a great host - very accommodating and such a great cook to boot! His home exudes such an amazingly welcoming vibe! Besides the fantastic central location between palm springs and palm desert - the community itself was very quiet, clean and has numerous pools and jacuzzis! In fact his unit is literally five steps to the pool / jacuzzi - maintained at 84F/105F The room itself was spacious with lots of storage and closet space. The sofabed was very comfortable - I have a back problem but never had any issues at all during my stay! However, the bed might not be suitable for two people if one is accustomed to a King size bed. But it was a very nice perk to have your own bathroom and to have free access to washer / dryer in the unit! The best part for me was when he whips out his surprise dinners - it's like having a Michelin star dining experience. I truly enjoyed staying there and will miss the great conversation and company, especially Annie (dachsund). The place was such a great treat - highly recommended!

Very nice place, prime location in Rancho Mirage. The pool area is a few steps from the front door! Easy parking close by. Very clean residence. The place is beautiful. Located footsteps away from the golf course and with a pool just outside. Lynn was very helpful. She gave us suggestions about where to go for a night out in town and made us feel very comfortable. She even gave us some snacks in the morning. I'd love to go back and spend more time with her.

Lynn (and Pete) made our stay over Coachella weekend perfect. The room, and house, was just what we needed after long days at the festival. We booked last-minute and each of us had different schedules, coming and going, and Lynn was wonderfully accommodating. Great private and comfortable room, bathroom and atrium. The house is on a golf course that is very conveniently across the street from restaurants and shops.

Lynn was a wonderful hostess ! She made me feel welcome, showing me around Rancho Las Palmas. and telling me about destination spots and activities I might enjoy. She was accommodating in every way. Clean, comfortable and lovely surroundings. I'd definitely stay with Lynn again.

The private room was very comfortable, well maintained, clean, and a great place to stay. The property is very close to restaurants and shopping. The pool is right out the door or you can relax on the patio outside and watch the golfers go by. Lynn is very cool outgoing and very easy to get along with, we were able to communicate easily by text When she was away from home. This was my first AirBNB stay, so I was happy this was such a positive experience. Would stay here again!

Nice, comfortable place to stay

A dessert Oasis, a true find. I don't know where to begin because I enjoyed my stay at Steve's place so very much. The pictures truly depict the accommodations accurately. Steve's home is like a museum in a good sense. His artwork is funky, eclectic, and Steve is able to tell you about the artists. This is not a stuffy place at all. The home is a true Spanish dwelling. It is bright and cool at the same time. The pool is inviting, and the outside patio is just as beautifully decorated. The room was clean, bright, separate entrance, private bathroom, A/C, fan, and very inviting. Rags is the family mascot; a beautiful chocolate brown Labradoodle that loves people. I would choose this room over a hotel room every time . This place is centrally located near the heart of town, and yet, when on the property, one feels like they are very secluded from the rest of civilization. Star gazing from this backyard was spectacular. I can't wait to come back.

Steve was a gracious host, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of, including preparing breakfast every morning! The guest bedroom unit which included two twin beds, a walk in closet, and a private bathroom made for great accommodations and an overall fantastic stay.

Steve was a very kind and generous host! He has a beautiful home with very nice decor and I had a very enjoyable stay. I had to cut my stay short due to my work assignment ending sooner so I was sad to leave but he sent me off with a piece of crumb cake to enjoy on the road back home. This house is gorgeous, private entrance and bathroom. There is a pool, but I didn't use it. The bed was comfortable and it's very convenient to Rancho Mirage as well as Palm Desert. Steve is hospitable and kind. I highly recommend stay here!

Steve was the perfect host! He greeted us at check-in, provided a tour of the home and told us some of the must sees in the area. He provided breakfast each morning which was so nice! He had fresh fruits, bagels, cereal, tea, coffee, really anything you wanted. During our trip with did a day of hiking/bouldering through Joshua Tree. Steve recommended a massage/spa service he uses. It was much needed after our hike. Throughout our stay Steve made sure we were comfortable and that we were enjoying our time at his home. He really cares to make your stay a great one. I highly recommend staying with Steve.

Fantastic place to stay! Steve was a wonderful host, and answered initial questions quickly. He was available throughout the stay, but respected our privacy as well. He had a solid knowledge of the area, and was able to offer some great suggestions during our visit. Breakfast was great, and the location couldn’t be more perfect. The neighborhood is safe, and the house is extremely quiet. Everything was clean, and the house has fabulous art spread throughout. Steve's place was wonderful. I MOST DEFINITELY want to go back. He was incredibly kind and warm and helpful. He offered great breakfasts, towels, directions--anything I needed. The house was beautiful and in a beautiful, safe neighborhood. You can feel the kindness of the home the moment you step foot inside. It was a wonderful place.

Welcomed by Erica upon our arrival who gave our family of 4 a short tour of the place. The place was immaculate, clean, from the bright white walls without a blemish to the shiny floors you could see your reflection. All the furniture was modern and in great condition from the living room couch and seats to the kitchen table and chairs, everywhere you felt like hanging out was comfortable. The kitchen cabinets were the kind you could gently tap or slam and they'd close quietly with the closer mechanism. Bed sheets felt brand new, towels were provided along with shampoo, conditioner and soap in both bathrooms. Ceiling fans in each room oscillating so comfortably with the AC accompanying the perfect temperature to beat the heat. The ceiling speakers filled the house with mellow tunes of reggae controlled from the music channels on the Directv. The front porch and yard was perfectly shaded in the afternoon to read a good book on the comfy couch. The back yard was beautiful, set with several shaded lounge areas and a bbq to enjoy the day in and out of the pool. We loved the pool rafts and being occasionally doused by the three fountain faucets. We left the house once to get stocked up on food and drink while the rest of the time we had all we needed to get into relaxation mode and forget about our stresses from daily life. Casa River was the perfect house for our group to celebrate a 30th birthday! The home is exactly as pictured and the owners have done a great job of furnishing/decorating... We loved everything about it! The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of pots, pans, and other tools needed for cooking. The outdoor pool and BBQ area were great as well. The pool water was very warm due to the heat, but we actually enjoyed the warm water- especially at night! I would recommend Casa River to any group looking for a fun and beautiful house for their next trip to the desert! Thank you Lalo and Erika for an amazing stay!

Excellent experience at Casa River. The house is beautiful, even better than the pictures. Lalo has not missed a beat - he has thought of every amenity you would want to feel as if you are in your own home (super soft robes, fluffy towels, comfortable beds). The house is on a very quiet residential street so if you are seeking privacy and relaxation, this is the place you want to be. We spent most of our time at the pool and thoroughly enjoyed it. This was my first time using Airbnb and I have to say I was not disappointed in any way. Lalo's home is incredibly beautiful, extremely clean and very comfortable. He has thought of every aspect of his guests stay. It is walking distance to the River, or you could ride the bikes provided to. We stayed in the casita for one night and it was the perfect fit for us! They had just installed an A/C for us a little before we came in so the room was at a perfect temperature.The casita was tastefully decorated and so clean. The refrigerator was stocked with some breakfast items for us as well. I wish we could have had a longer stay! George was so helpful to us leaving us a list of things to do and places to eat. Definitely one of my favorite Airbnb places by far!

George and Joe's Casita was fabulous!!So comfortable, so well equipped and since the weather was perfect we really enjoyed the private patio. It's even nicer than the pictures show and also easy to find. George and Joe are wonderful hosts and truly made us feel at home by including some fruit and breakfast items. It was very quiet here (although the bed springs were a bit noisy), very peaceful. The room is as described, and the bed was very firm with great pillows. The directions for access to the unit are a bit confusing, at least until you get there, and then is very understandable. I am not sure how it could be explained better, so just go with it until you get there and it will make perfect sense

I stayed at Rebekah's place for one month, and found it was very comfortable, private, and the photos and description are accurate. Rebekah was also very accommodating and responsive whenever I contacted her with a question. The bed was made up nicely, there were plenty of clean towels, a microwave, fridge, and coffee pot, which I used frequently. The home is located in a very nice upscale guard gated community, and I felt very safe, also recommended for anyone traveling alone. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there, and the privacy of a Casita with its own private entrance was a big plus. Highly recommended!

This was a very nice place to stay, and like the other reviews it was a great location. Large house, very clean with comfortable furniture, with spacious rooms and the kitchen was furnished with pots & pans, etc… which made cooking and eating in easy. Was made aware in advance the spa and pool could not be heated, hopefully that is corrected to allow future guests to enjoy, as it is a wonderful outdoor space to enjoy. The internet was a little bit slow, if you bring Apple TV or Amazon Fire, etc… can cause the playback to buffer a lot, but it was manageable. All in all, was a great place to stay, and a very enjoyable and relaxing New Year’s weekend getaway, and would recommend staying at the property.

My friends and I love this place! Such a beautiful and spacious house. Enjoyed the pool with a great view of the golf course, cooking in the big kitchen, and playing with the air hockey table. Each room had its own bathroom, well equipped with plenty of towels. There's extra pillows, blankets, and an air mattress. Didn't run into any problems. Wish we could've stayed longer!

The home was amazing. Absolutely beautiful! It was in a great neighborhood and the home was right on the golf course. The home was however a little scarce on resources; such as blankets, extra sheets, pool towels, and kitchen necessities. Never the less we still had an amazing experience and if the house wasn't for sale we would love to stay again. Important note the hot tub is NOT heated; this was the biggest down fall of the trip.

This was my first time staying at an Air BNB and Annie just set the bar very high! The house was a dream and had everything we could need or want and more. She was a fabulous host--so sweet and helpful. My family and I were so sad to leave but hope to be back again soon!

Annie is a Gracious host. The home was beautiful and well laid out. She is very helpful and quick to response. The amenities in the house were clean and organized. She also provides board games and many towels for use. The pool is a bit smaller than it looks in teh picture but its perfect if i you are no more than 8 people or so. We still had a amaing time at this gorgeous house and I am sure you will too :)

Have just finished a 3 week stay in Marie's beautiful home. She is just the most perfect host, offering to take me grocery shopping when I arrived and letting me use her sun cream, shampoo etc as I had forgotten mine. The bed in the room I had was the most comfortable bed I had ever slept in. Outside area had a pool with various sitting areas, so you could decide whether to sunbathe or sit in shade. House in a lovely quiet area of Rancho Mirage, but only a ten minute walk to bus stops. I felt so so relaxed there. Marie is there if you feel like a bit of company, and is quite happy if you just want to chill on your own reading or watching tv. I am already planning to come back for a month in October. Excellent location, the neighborhood is very quiet and the hosts are very friendly, I provided all possible comforts, I felt welcome from the start.

The pictures on this site do not do the Home justice! It was in a quiet residential area, it was clean, communication with the owner was clear and pleasant. To be honest the four of us that stayed in the home didn't want to leave :) we will definitely be coming back to stay here!!

Chris's condo was everything we hoped it would be and more: the ultimate pad for a peaceful, relaxing family getaway. The neighborhood is VERY quiet, and utterly pristine. Gardens are beautifully manicured and well tended. Chris's back patio opens right onto the golf course - the perfect spot for a relaxing evening drink and meal, and the front patio under shade is the perfect spot for a leisurely breakfast. Everything was totally spotless and drawers and cupboard equipped with everything we needed and no clutter. Beds comfy and good sleep guaranteed! We enjoyed strolling around the golf course, visiting neighboring Splashtopia pool complex (complete with a lazy river) for fun times with the little ones (but very busy and probably costs extra - I believe you have to buy passes if not staying at the hotel but access is no hassle. We had friends who passed their extras along). Clean swimming pools for residents of the golf resort are dotted about the neighborhood. Hot tubs looked enticing but we did not have time to use. Chris communicated everything we needed to know in advance and access codes etc were easy to manage. Loved everything about our stay and can't recommend more highly. Thank you Chris. It is a great place to spend time with family. House equiped with everything you need, place is very beautiful and clean. All furniture is new and comfortable. House is bigger than it looks on a pictures, so you will have a lot of space. Community has a few pools, which is nice, because my family was always able to find a private one. Community is very beautiful, green and has a lot of flowers, neighborhood is quiet. Location is great, close to the mall, restaurants, shops and Omni resort, where you can get a day pass to kids waterpark. It is best to stay there for a week, because just weekend was not enough for us. Thank you, Chris for our great time!

Very quiet location. Photos don't do it justice. Great layout for two couples or family with two kids/teens. Lots of pools, golf, driving range, and a small gym. Loved that it was walk-able to restaurants and entertainment. Short drive to additional restaurants and entertainment. Owner was extremely prompt and very kind in his communication. I would definitely stay again.

We just had the most relaxing and peaceful summer vacation here. Doren was the perfect host with a really well appointed home, containing, really, all the luxuries one might want to make your stay feel like living at a luxury home away from home. The lot itself is very large, with really well laid out and mature gardens and pool area - which gives you a real sense of high living, and being in a very high class of neighbourhood, you feel at once both relaxed and secure to get on enjoying your vacation from the moment you arrive. Plenty of great restaurants and stores nearby, we also particularly enjoyed home life -the fast WiFi with Cable, the Pool and Hot tub, the tranquillity of cooking at home and eating on our own patio undisturbed. Doren even has a rather nice acoustic guitar on hand, and a kitchen with many basic essentials for cooking. Top marks. We will be back again. Wonderful experience. Thanks Doren.

Doren was extremely helpful and responsive to any questions that I asked him. He always answered really quickly. He met us at his house and showed us around and explained how to use the spa etc. He was lovely and told us just to make contact if we needed anything during our stay. We travelled with our young twins and through communication Doren appreciated that we were looking forward to the outside space so he brought a badminton set for us to use plus more soft balls for the boys to use in the pool. The house is just gorgeous! Plenty of space for us. The pool area is amazing and so spacious. Doren has 3-4 pool floats which were just great for lazy days by the pool. Fridge had water and juice Cartons in and also a little snack basket all provided by Doren which was very much appreciated. Likewise Doren arrived with some flowers which was so thoughtful and lasted for the duration of our stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils you would need with condiments provided although we took our own. Best to check in prior to going to the supermarket as all the essentials were already there. As we planned on buying a bike for the boys to practice outside as there is so much space, Doren actually brought 2 adult bikes down so that we could use them during our stay. As we didn't plan on taking the bike home after Doren took it to a local guy who fixes and donates bikes to those less fortunate and he took it to him which was just lovely to know someone will be getting use out of a 1 week old bike. Doren seemed very knowledgable of the area and gave great advice. Maps and tourist information was all laid out ready for our arrival and Told us the good places to take the boys. The local restaurants are easy to reach by foot and even with the boys at their slow pace only took 15 mins the promise of cheesecake may have been good fuel. We felt perfectly safe walking back at night, there was plenty of lighting down the street. I would definitely recommend both Doren as the Host and the property as the photos don't capture just how lovely it is!

Doren's house is very well situated, close to everything yet on an incredibly quiet street. The outdoor area and pool is particularly lovely. Definitely pay to have the pool heated- at least in March! Doren only charges for actual cost and it would be a real shame to have this beautiful pool be too cold to use. (We had friends staying elsewhere where the pool was not heated and it was way too cold to enjoy.) The third bedroom is quite small and has only a sofa bed. The other two bedrooms have queen size beds. This is a great house and we really enjoyed it.

This place was a perfect setting for our break in California, a real home from home. Everything you need is here from kitchen basics to inflatables for the pool! Host was Fab! And gave us great recommendations on local areas! And the map was great too! We would definately love to return! Thanks Again! :-)

Doren is the perfect host! Everything was well arranged and taken care of. Plenty of amenities in the house, a fully stocked kitchen indeed, lots of towels for the pool and things to play with. A beautiful big barbecue with even a full box of delicious hamburgers in the freezer. What more could we want? The house is very clean and nicely decorated. Beds and sofa are comfortable, so is the garden furniture. The details for entering and locking the house, the internet access and the brochures with tips for places to visit, all very well prepared. No hassle, no worries, just relaxing :) Greatest place to be when you're in the middle of the desert!

This lovely home and fabulous yard is within walking distance to great shops and restaurants on El Paseo drive. Doren provides lots of great information about nearby amenities - he suggested some great hikes. It was nice after a long day of hiking to come and relax in the spa and pool! The house was very clean and even had a few necessities such as coffee, condiments and spices that are really nice extras!!

This was my first experience with renting from airbnb. I always read the reviews before I travel. Every review for Vanessa and David were great. This was a very special trip for me, because I was surprising my husband. We are from San Diego, and I wanted to have a weekend get away. I purchased tickets to see an artist performing at the Westin Mission Hills, and Vanessa and David's condo was less than a half mile away. From the moment I contacted Vanessa to make the reservation, she was very prompt in responding to answer my questions. The reviews said that there were many extras in the bathroom, as well as the kitchen. I had forgotten to pack our shampoo, and there was a big bottle of shampoo and conditioner in the shower! The pantry and refrigerator had some great things to use. There is also a basket on the kitchen counter with a binder that has all the information that you need about the condo. There are also travel guides for Rancho Mirage, as well as Palm Springs, and surrounding areas. We did have a minor issue, and Vanessa actually called to talk to me, rather than text. The condo is decorated very nice, and it really felt like our home away from home. I feel that by having a 12:00 check in and 1:00 checkout, we got an extra day. If you are thinking of coming to the area, I can say you would be very happy to stay at Vanessa and David's condo. The only thing that would have made it better, is if we could have met them! I truly feel that really care about making their guests feel at home and want to make sure their stay is great.

This is a beautiful home that delivers exactly what is advertised. David and Vanessa are extremely helpful and attentive and are a pleasure to work with. The home has very comfortable beds, with an updated bath upstairs, and a huge TV downstairs. I highly recommend their home if you are in the Palm Springs area and need a place to stay.

Vanessa and David were fantastic! Their follow up throughout the trip and hospitality from the start made this years Coachella one to remember. Their home is located on lush greens of a beautiful golf course with a community pool steps from their door. Stay here and you will not be disappointed.

This was my first time staying at an Airbnb & let me say that I am so thankful we stayed at Vanessa & David's instead of a hotel (or anywhere else for that matter)! My boyfriend & I came out for the weekend to get away. Their home is in a beautiful community & is in an ideal location. I was at awe when driving through the gate! It's so close to everything! Their home was extremely clean and beautifully decorated. It was a home away from home! The bedroom was nice & big. We brought some groceries up & it was nice that we were able to share the fridge. Although they weren't home during our stay, Vanessa was easy to reach via text (she is so sweet!). I really wish I could've met them and their dog Luke. We would stay with them again!

Nice home with modern style. Very clean. Meet Vanessa on check and then never really saw either host again. Very private. Communication with Vanessa was very good. Would stay again.

They were commendable hosts, who were flexible to my schedule (I was attending a multi-day conference at a hotel nearby). The room was clean and comfortable.
