Everything was ok: the bed is really comfortable, the location great, the house has everything you might need. Highly recommended.

Rosa was very welcoming upon my arrival. The apartment building is safe and modern, and the apartment provided everything it said it would in the listing, including a pull-out couch, lovely terrace, bathroom, kitchen and laundry. However, there is nowhere to put or hang your clothing, which was an issue for me as I was staying for over 3 weeks. I found what most took away from my experience was the condition of the kitchen, which was extremely messy, unhygienic, and cluttered, with very little fridge space and no freezer space. Fruit flies were a big issue. I found it very uncomfortable to cook and use the kitchen due to its state, and the apartment is very cluttered in general. As the room is on the second floor and overlooks an intersection/busy road, it was very difficult to sleep and I was often woken up in the middle of the night/very early in morning due to foot and road traffic (even with the windows closed). However, the apartment is directly across from the beautiful botanical gardens, and extremely central to the city (5 minute bike ride/less than 10 minute walk to the university, restaurants, stores, etc). Would only recommend if you are looking for somewhere extremely close to the city centre and university for a few nights.

Rosa is sooo nice and her house is just behind the botanical garden, which means you can walk to the Cathedral and train station as well.

I stayed with Rosa for one night in September 2015 and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room is large and sunny, as shown in the pictures. It is also quiet, not facing traffic. The apartment is situated in the center of town, within walking distance from the train station, the main bus station, all university buildings, and the cathedral. The only thing I would say is that it is slightly farther away from the train station and the bus station than described; it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the train station and 8 minutes to walk to the main bus station. Rosa is a very friendly and generous person. She offered me coffee, tea and even food, and repeatedly told me to make myself at home. I also really enjoyed chatting with her. I highly recommend Rosa and her room, and I will stay with her again if her room is available when I visit Lund.

The room was super nice, and I enjoyed walking through the Botanic Garden to the university. Since I was attending a course at the uni, I had not much energy to do other things or talk to Rosa much, but she seemed really nice. She also left to work very early, so I could use the bathroom and kitchen privately in the mornings (to drink coffee and prepare for classes).

Rosa was very flexible about my arrival and she waited for me with a key. Given that we were both very busy during my stay, we didn't get a chance to speak too much, but she was very welcoming and helpful.

For a short stay, I have to agree that Rosa's place was really a nice one. Simple and comfortable. If you are not picky, this is a right place to go to. Most of the important locations in downtown Lund are within 15-20 min walk. Rosa is a friendly and attentive. I am looking forward another opportunity, maybe this time for longer and more turistic stay.

I had a very nice stay. The apartment is just perfectly situated, clean and with “charme”. The room is pleasant with a very nice view on the garden. Really quite. I felt home, thanks to Mi.

Central, nice and clean. Perfect apartment for a stay in Lund. We talked a bit and I got some good tips, for example taking the train to Copenhagen, wouldn't have thought about it myself... All I needed from toothpaste to a pan was available. I would recommend the place to others.

Mi was very welcoming, showing me the room and how to get in and out etc. The room was small but comfortable and the separate entrance made it convenient to go in and out without disturbing the host. Great location in the center of Lund, with walking distance to everything.

A few dear friends had to rent space at the Birch Knoll when they visited me during a graduation weekend in Lund. They were lyrical about the accommodation, the location and especially the friendly hosts! Perfect under them to enjoy a little extra of town, easy to find, park, etc. Highly recommended!

Birch Knoll is a wonderful house with accommodation on the second floor. There is a large and airy bedrooms with beds, fridge and microwave, welcome sweets and water, soda and beer waiting in the fridge if you need. Great service! The bathroom is fantastically bright and well maintained with shower and even a sauna. TV with all channels in a common room. We walked down to Lund in 10 minutes. We thought the accommodation was excellent for our days in Lund.

The owner welcomed us and informed us on all the many options and possibilities. The appartment was very nearby the centre, on walking distance, in a quiet neighborhood. It was a nice place to stay, chocolate as a welcoming present, and lots of other services. Apart from the sauna, there were a lot of books, and for a number of them you could take them along if you happened not to finish it before leaving. You could make coffee if you liked, and also a bakery in the centre is available for breakfast options. The beds were excellent and the appartment was clean and good to stay in.

We received a warm welcome from Johan & Karin! The room was lovely and spacious and clean, everything was perfect really! The communication about keys&route and other details was uncomplicated, relaxed, polite and cordial. The Wi-fi worked really well, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was big and modern and clean and there was even a sauna we could use! In the evening we sat in the private, cozy living room next to the bedroom and watched TV on a big, new flat screen. The sofas were very comfortable and we could really relax. The room is located in central Lund in a green and lush environment – and it is only a 5-6 minute walk away from Lund Central Station! The feeling you get is that you are so well taken care of. The hosts have thought about all sorts of details that make you feel welcome and that make the rooms feel extra cozy and private. Cordially recommended – 5 stars. I really enjoyed staying in Dan's place. The apartment has character, it's warm and located next to train station. Dan is so friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend for solo travellers for work and leisure.

Dan's place is very central, he is very welcoming and open to others.. kind and warm hearted! Expect a good espresso from him as well :) If you have difficulty sleeping due to slight noises you might have to get earplugs but overall it is quiet.. I would recommend!

Staying at Dan's place felt like being at home. Very cozy room with all one can wish for a shorter or longer stay. Loved the view from the window to the park as well :) Perfect price/location ratio. It was also very nice, that I got the change to leave my luggage and get the keys much earlier than usual registration for room time. Flexibility is appreciated!

Everything was perfect :) Many thanks to Barbro for kindly accommodating my last minute booking and early morning check in, and her mother -a lovely lady - for showing me the place and making me feel right at home. The room and bathroom were sparkly clean (the shower's great and warm and Barbro even provided shower gel, shampoo and conditioner), and the location perfect - just a quick walk to anywhere you might need to be e.g. the central station/cathedral/supermarket. There is also an adorable house cat but it stays in a separate area of the house, though it wouldn't have bothered me anyway. Wifi works great too. All in all a wonderful stay <3

Barbro was amazing! I actually lost my baggage on the way here and she offered me clothes!! If I could give her six stars for amenities and communication, I would. She and her family were very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.
