I would like to introduce to you a house belonged to my aunt “Omine”(pronounced oh-me-nay), which has just been beautifully renovated. My auntie was a noted “Shamisen” guitar player and she appeared in many movies and TV dramas. Now her home and its rooms, where she practiced her “Shamisen”, have been converted for a comfortable stay.

Just 5 minutes by walk from subway Imadegawa station. You can stay like you live in Kyoto. We have wooden bath with small garden view. There are wooden deck besides living space, you will have relaxing time at the wooden deck with Japanese traditional style garden "Karesansui "garden view. This house is barrier free. There are distance between Tatami room and wood floor but we can prepare bed at wood floor so I think it is no problem. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

京都駅から徒歩15分弱、そして京都を代表する東本願寺のすぐ近くに位置する「奥の庭」。昔ながらの古風な門を開き、少し細道を歩いていくと、街中にいることを忘れるような、緑に囲まれた美しい空間が広がります。「奥の庭」は、その細道の1番奥に、ひっそりと建っています。伝統的な京都の平屋造りのお家をリフォームしているゲストハウス「奥の庭」は、お家一軒をそのまま貸し出ししております。メインの寝室にはダブルベット、そして畳のお部屋にはお布団を2枚敷くことができます。ダイニングキッチンは坪庭に面し、また天井のガラス窓から入り込む光で、落ち着きの空間を演出。お風呂場には、香りの良いヒノキを使用しております。 Wi-Fi、エアコン、Netflix、調理器具など必要なものはあらかた揃っています。オーナーはオーストラリア人ですが、京都市内在住の息子ギャビンと、コーホストのロクサーナが日本語を話すことができるので、何かお困りのことや聞きたいことなどがあっても安心です。
