Located in the town next to Narai-juku, Nakasendo's post town, a historic town that has flourished as a region for lacquerware from the Edo period. It was selected as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings, and was built in 1931 in this town, where lacquerware shops are still lined up. Limited to one group per day without meals, you can use the entire house. I think the charm of Hirasawa is the unforgettable beauty and abundance. It would be nice if you could stay like living in this old town, such as reading, walking, local sake (sake, wine), and sleeping slowly. There are no screen doors in an old house in the valley of the mountains, so natural creatures may come in during the warmer months. The 93-year-old building is not polished in detail. Miyama House is a guest house made by renovating an old wooden house that was no longer in use. The entire house is rented out, so families and groups of friends can use it as if it were their own home. Meals are not provided, but you can enjoy cooking in the open kitchen where everyone can gather. The exterior of the building looks old, but the interior is stylish when you open the front door. The interior is finished with natural materials such as wood and plaster, and the insulation is perfect, making it a safe and comfortable space. The reason why we made it so carefully is that we are carpenters who specialize in wooden architecture. We've created an ideal space with a sense of fun, and we'd love for you to experience it. We want you to have a relaxing time, so check-in is from 10 am and check-out is by 3 pm. You can stay up to 29 hours. You can also use it with your pets. However, due to space constraints, please limit your pet to a medium-sized dog, and use a cage during your stay. Please refrain from letting your pets run loose in the room or leaving them alone in the room.
