Staying with Lindsay was a true delight. We were playing at the golf club and the house is only a 15 minute walk. The room is large and the bed supremely comfortable. We didn't use the kitchen for cooking, but Lindsay left out tea & coffee and mugs for us to use which was very nice. We got our own bathroom as well which was fantastic. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when we're next up on the Wirral!!

Lindsay is probably the most welcoming host within the Airbnb universe and I had a fantastic time during my stay. I was down there for work so didn't get a chance to explore the local area but having the beach at the end of the street (20 yards or so) was nice for many an evening stroll! Hoylake also seemed pretty nice with some good pubs and stuff. The room was really clean and quiet with a very comfy bed and the kitchen was very well equipped - Lindsay even left tea and coffee for the mornings which was very sweet! (Separate) bathroom perfect as well with good hot shower. Will definitely be back if I find myself in the area again!

Lindsay's place is a lovely spacious home that is right by the waterfront. Quiet, yet just a short walk to the Main Street. Lindsay's was the perfect host, very informative and helpful, yet due to her studies I felt like I had the place to myself! The top floor room has a large comfy bed and good desk for doing work or study. Perfect spot for anyone doing their courses through JPMA.

Our 2 families enjoyed our stay at your house by the beach. We particularly enjoyed sitting in the front room and looking out to sea. The children had fun playing cricket on the beach!

The host was very welcoming, Deb sent her husband to meet our family to show them the amenities and they were close at hand to answer any questions we had. The house and the front room in particular was great, with the views to the sea and a big enough space for us all t o relax in. Beds comfortable, our needs were met with Deb helping us with a child's mattress and travel cot provided. Bathrooms were stunning a huge bath and very very clean. Location was great 30mins to Chester Zoo and great takeaway choice and local pubs. Lots to explore in the area so would not hesitate to book again! I have to mention that the location on the beach front took our breath away, clean air and a challenge to walk to find the sea, beautiful sunrise/sunsets. Lovely and quiet location and there also seemed to be a friendly community feel to the street we were on.

4 Golfers stayed at North Parade for 12 nights and loved every minute of it. PLaying between Lytham, Cavandish and Conwy Deb`s comfortable home was the perfect base for our trip including drinks and chats at the pub nearby. We highly recommend Deb as a host.

This is a beautiful house with great views over the sea and Wales in the distance. It is on a quiet road and a few yards from the beach. A great spot for quiet reflection, walks or jogging. The shops and restaurants of West Kirby are a short drive away. The house is nicely decorated with comfortable bedrooms and a well equipped kitchen. My family and I loved staying there. We were particularly grateful that the owner allowed us to check in early as we arrived at the airport in the morning. I highly recommend this airbnb rental.

I loved the house , its location is great for exploring other parts of the Wirral, Cheshire and North Wales. Loved the 'home from home' feeling you get staying here. A beautiful home that is immaculate, a bed that is the most comfortable I have slept in and a lovely bathroom that is also immaculate ans well equipped. I was made to feel welcomed and given lots of tips about the area, transport and places to visit. Meols Promenade is close by and is a great place to watch the beautiful sunsets. I would definitely stay here again.

A fantastic place. Lovely room on the top floor with great views across the rooftops. Kevin and his family were warm, welcoming and lovely to chat to. The bed was so comfy ( ended up sleeping for 13 hours !) and the bathroom was impeccable. Meols is a beautiful place and this is a beautiful place to stay at.

I had initially had concerns about staying Meols as it seemed a distance from Liverpool on the map, but it was an easy half hour trip and trains are frequent. Lovely place to stay right on the seaside and the family home is a great atmosphere. I had a nice big room with my own bath on the third floor and couldn't hear a peep from the rest of the house. Nicky and James are great friendly hosts and I don't think you'll find a better place to stay. Meols is on the Wirral Peninsula and is full of history. Check it out.

Nicky and James run a very friendly and welcoming airbnb. Your room and bathroom is on the top floor of their family home. Their children, Maud and Stanley, also clearly enjoy greeting visiting guests which adds to the family cosiness. We enjoyed the 20 minute walk along the delightful sea front into the centre hub of Hoy Lake. We breakfasted in the family kitchen. We had a very comfortable and friendly experience.

A lovely little granny flat on the side of an existing home. Grace and her family worked hard to make us feel welcome (including some complimentary essentials in the kitchen). We asked them to reconfigure things slightly to accommodate our young children, and they went out of their way to organise high chairs, toys, etc.

We had a great time in Meols and Liverpool. The Flat (nothing much Granny about it) was perfect for us, nice, quiet and tidy, beautiful garden. Short walk to the train station and 20 min to Liverpool city centre, trains on time. Even shorter walk to the Irish Sea, very relaxing. An excellent experience. The flat is adjacent to the main house. Excellent value for money, everything was clean and comfortable and worked well. Good strong shower, nice bed, little kitchen where I could prep food for my girlfriend before the wedding we were going to as she is celiac. Oh and the location is handy for the motorway and the promenade. I highly recommend this as a place to stay.

The apartment was perfect! So cozy and lovely, the pictures really do not do it justice. The area is really beautiful and the ocean is right there (also easy access to Liverpool by one train). We got to borrow bikes to get around and we were given great tips by Anne about the neighbourhood. She was also very helpful with any problems during our stay.

Our stay at the Granny Bungalow was excellent. A beautiful modern property. We were well looked after, leaving all essential. Would recommend and stay there again.

What a beautiful place to stay. The room was very spacious and decorated to a really high standard. We were made to feel welcome and have had a wonderful mini break. The attention to detail makes this a really special place to stay. The area is very quiet and it is only a few minutes walk to the beach and about 20 minutes to walk into Hoylake where there are several restaurants and pubs. Kevin and his family were kind and friendly. They taught good places to see around in Liverpool where only locals would know and we were glad to visit there. The place was cozy and quiet, great place to rest and sleep after a long day.

Kevin's place was a great location to get away from everything. If you want to be in the middle of all of the Liverpool action (we didn't), this is not the place for you. Trains do not run late to Meols, however we wanted peace and quiet over the new year, so the location was perfect for us. We particularly enjoyed going on walks along the promenade to neighbouring towns, and it is very easy to catch a train into the centre of town. The room was comfortable and warm- no complaints! Kevin was a fantastic communicator, and answered all of our questions, no matter how silly they seemed. Fantastic Hosts, Great location for a quiet getaway.

It was big and spacious with its own private bathroom. Everything was very clean and of high quality. I couldn't have asked for more friendly people or a nicer visit.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay with Helen over the Christmas break. She was incredibly welcoming and went well out of her way to make us feel at home. Also she looked after us whilst also looking after family and friends who had come to stay for Christmas! The room was lovely, with en-suite, very comfortable bed, and very quiet neighbourhood. I had a enjoyable stay at Helen’s place. Helen and Ken were great hosts, very friendly and great to chat with. The house is only a few minutes’ walk from Meols train station with a convenience store along the way. The house is also only a short walk from the beach. I stayed in a spacious room with a double bed and en-suite bright, clean and well equipped bathroom. Helen prepared a tasty breakfast on the 3 mornings I was there - even when I got up late. Wifi was great. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks for a great stay, guys! Highly recommended.

Lovely nice house, calm area, next to the station at 20 Minutes of Liverpool. Only 1 hour to Manchester airport. Helen has been really nice to us, welcoming us with a warm cup of tea and biscuits. She gave us all information we needed to spend a lovely time there. Helen also served us a wonderful breakfast! We'd definitely go back there! We had a very pleasant night. The host was very friendly and gave us a Hand with the luggages since the flat was on the second floor. He also prepared many maps and Tourist information for us. Nick was a very helpful host. The place is lovely, we were 5 adults and an infant. The rooms are quite big and very clean. We also had a huge bathroom for ourselves and had access to the kitchen and the living room. The place also has secure parking at the back. The location is right in the middle of the town with some very nice restaurants and pubs around. We would definitely consider Nick's place again if we are in the area. Just returned from another enjoyable stay at Nick's place in West Kirby. Nick is a fantastic host always responds quickley to any messages. He is so helpful in pointing out places to visit in the local area. The apartment is central to West Kirby so you feel like part of the community! A few minutes away from the beach and the long prom with plenty of seating to unwind watching the boats on the Marina. The apartment has all the facilities you could possibly ask for, comfortable beds, well equiped kitchen, plenty of table space and seating for all! We are looking forward to our next stay already booked!

Our family of 6 spent a few days in Nick's house. It was just perfect for us parents and the kids. The appartment is exactly as described, or better, and it is perfectly located for a visit in Liverpool for those who do not want to spend the nights in the town center. Nick is a very helpful and kind host. 100% recommendable!

This deceptively large property is in a perfect location close to the station, all shops, restaurants and the sea front. Our hostess Ealine was attentive, knowledgeable and so friendly. Nothing was too much bother. The room was large with a lovely view and spotlessly clean. The shared bathroom facilities were more than adequate with a roll top bath and a separate shower cubicle with excellent water pressure. We didn't feel at all like guests, more like a part of Elaine's extended family. We will,definitely be returning. Thank you for a lovely welcome and stay.

This is a lovely quirky little flat in a fabulous area. It's a quiet street that opens out onto the sea with great walks and family cycling along The Wirral Way only a few minutes ride away. The flat is well appointed with modern and practical facilities. We found the beds super comfy and the shower/ bathroom facilties were great. Carol was an exceptional host, we arrived fairly late when picking up our keys due to a lot of traffic but Carol stayed in constant contact and was very understanding. When we arrived and received our keys we felt extreamly welcome and at ease from the get go. She showed us everything in the house and had bought us some essentials such as bread milk and eggs. She showed us how everything worked around the house and gave us a run down of where everything was in the surrounding area. She was on hand to help with any issues we had over the weekend and replied to messages extreamly quick. Carol is a lovely person who couldn't have done more to make our stay any better. They house itself was a beautiful place very homely and perfect for what we was looking. It matched the images and description perfectly, if we are ever planning another trip up to west kirby this will 100% be the place that we will be staying.

We stayed in this beautifully appointed top floor apartment in this lovely house in Hoylake for a week in January. The house overlooks the Royal Liverpool golf course at the front, with wonderful views from the bay window in the living room and the top bedroom, and over towards the sea at the back. Situated in a quiet residential road. alongside a wealth of charming period residences, the house is a pleasant walk to Hoylake village the railway station. Giving easy and speedy access to Wirral and Liverpool and straightforward links to Chester and Cheshire. The self-contained apartment has been beautifully restored and renovated in charming, spacious accommodation. The kitchen is perfectly well-equipped, with stylish tiling and wood flooring. There are three very large bedrooms, furnished in period style, a large airy bathroom and a comfortable lounge. All of this ranges over the top floor, with a split level hall and is entirely self-contained from the main house where Clare and Henry live with their family. Clare is a fantastic host who did everything to be helpful before our arrival. She and Henry then went on to be exceptionally helpful in every way. Clare left us breakfast and other essentials (possibly more than should be expected) and everything we asked for was provided. The service rivals that of most top hotels. The Home is on the sea, with a lovely view. Walking distance to town. Lovely accommodations with charming and gracious and warm family. I hope to have the opportunity to return!

The flat covers the whole of the top floor and is decorated to a very high standard. The living room is a stones throw from the 17th green at the Royal Liverpool Golf Club and the views over the links towards the Dee estuary are spectacular. From the master bedroom you can see Hilbre island to the side and to the rear the Irish sea. Hoylake town centre is just down the road with West Kirby just a 5 minute drive. Clare and Henry are very hospitable and really made us feel welcome. Best holiday rental we've had, highly recomended.

Our host, Claire, made us feel welcome from the moment we booked through to our late evening arrival. She introduced us to her delightful young family, recommended places to eat, and see, and couldn't have been more supportive in ensuring we had a comfortable stay. The top floors suites of rooms (bedroom, bathroom, sitting room and kitchen) were very well furnished and clearly recently refurbished with taste and great attention to detail. Every requirement was anticipated and addressed. We couldn't have found a better place to stay in Hoylake and would definitely book this Hoylake apartment again if we are revisiting the area.

I booked the house for my Dad's 70th birthday party and we stayed 4 nights. The host (Joanna's mum) was extremely welcoming and showed us around on arrival and answered all our questions. Joanna was extremely helpful when booking via email as hosting a party remotely was quite daunting and I had a lot of questions!! It was a lovely space and easily accommodated 45 people. The house itself is immaculate and very spacious, easily accommodating 5-7 people. The bedrooms are lovely and beds very comfy. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with cooking utensils and basics such as tea/coffee and had large work surfaces which made cooking for a party quite easy! The cooker has a gas hob and electric oven, and there is full use of the fridge and 2 large freezer draws. The upstairs bathroom has a bath with shower attachment and the downstairs bathroom (through the kitchen) has full shower facilities (electric). The stairs do not have a banister and are open so may not be great for small children unsupervised, however, our family coped. Stairs to the attic room are narrow (unsuitable for elderly guests) but the room is lovely and spacious with large window and double futon. Downstairs, the sitting room is at the front, with a lovely large flat screen TV with SKY, and comfortable sofa suite sitting 5-6 people. The dining room seats 6 people around a large table with a further table in the kitchen which seats 3 people. Outside is a walled patio area with large table and 6 chairs. The area is quiet even though the railway is close by and we all slept very well. It is conveniently situated close to all amenities (Sainsburys, bakery, butchers, pubs, restaurants etc.), 2 mins walk from the local station and 5mins walk from the seafront. The Bakery does cakes made to order if you are holding a party and both The Ship Inn, Monte Carlo and Lazaros Greek Taverna can be recommended for food all within 5 mins walk of the house. All in all, highly recommended!
