Waterfront holiday rentals in Hoylake

A very spacious and comfortable apartment in a fab location. Very quiet and peaceful at night, but only 15mins walk to local bars and restaurants. Was an excellent base while attending a trade show at the Liverpool Exhibition Centre (10mins walk).

Thanks for having us in your lovely home, Nicky. Great views from the house, a quick walk to cafes and restaurants and the beach! The house was very spacious, the kids enjoyed playing all the games in the cupboard, and the buckets and spades left out for us. Nicky was extremely helpful giving local recommendations as well. Couldn’t have had a better weekend

Great modern property overlooking the beach and with views of Liverpool and life on the Mersey. The dog loved looking out the French doors to the street and beach below….our garden clearly not as interesting since we returned! We chose this property due to the beach side location but was also easy to access Anfield for the Bruce Springsteen concert (we chose to Uber but train would also have been a good option). Off-road parking with assigned bay was also an added bonus. Our only issue was that we struggled to operate the (very modern) oven but our techno-savvy daughter was able to rescue us before we had to ask for help! A great stay and we shall definitely return again.

Lovely apartment, extremely clean and beautifully furnished. Best hairdryer I’ve ever used (GHD)! We had a little trouble finding the entrance and the lovely guy at check in came out to the street to find us. The location is perfect, so close to Albert dock. We enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the Lapis room. If you are a light sleeper I’d suggest ear plugs as there is a gate nearby for residents that gets opened and closed at night (not too many times though) and early-ish delivery vans. Normal to heavy sleepers won’t have a problem.

Pauls place was perfect for our short stay and set in a beautiful Georgian square. We were visiting for a concert so we were out of Liverpool itself which was more convenient as we had a parking place to leave the car but could combine sightseeing with our trip to Anfield. Paul was so very helpful when it came to public transport, he had our journey mapped out for us and directed us to get our saver pass for all modes of transport there and back from the concert. We even managed a ferry across the Mersey ( why not 😍) Paul was a great host and a great guy. So very friendly and easy to chat to and who goes over and above to help in any way. The fruit, cereal and brioche buns plus milk was a welcomed bonus 👍 Thanks again Paul.

We enjoyed our time "In the Pink". Joanne's place is in a fantastic area with beautiful views and immaculately presented! Every comfort is thought of and we would highly recommend staying here when visiting the friendly, awesome Liverpool.

Lovely hidden gem! Tucked away but so close to everything, we loved staying here. Plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 bigger kids. Beautifully decorated and furnished with lots of additional touches like the very thoughtful welcome basket - very much appreciated. River views are beautiful, especially from the balcony on a sunny morning. We loved our daily wander into Chester via Grosvenor Park or by the river for a slightly longer a scenic route. Jaunty Goat was a favourite for breakfast, and we wandered round the walls to The Architect pub for a nice drink, but so many options within the city. Super handy Waitrose is just across the road. We even managed to tuck our fairly big car into the parking space (we were warned it was tight but it was totally fine with a bit of mirror manoeuvring). Would definitely recommend.

Kevin was a great, responsive and friendly host. The home was like described and even had more. There was ample crockery and cooking utensils. There were the basic cooking essentials like salt pepper and olive oil plus extras. The place was well insulated and the underfloor heating was sufficient even during the coldest days. Very conveniently located with the Co-Op just across the street. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a home away from home.

Cute little English house, cosy and warm on cold days. Ian's a great host who supplied us with bread and milk on our first day.

Great property. Beautifully styled and very atmospheric. Location was perfect for us as was near our friend’s house we were visiting. Alison, the host, was very friendly and responsive. All very good.

The property was perfect for what we needed. We were spending Christmas with family in Chester and this cottage was just a 5 minute drive away. Moira had made the cottage very welcoming. As soon as we entered it felt like Christmas. The property was clean, spacious and cosy! It felt like a home away from home. Parking was great and the host was very contactable if needed. I would recommend and stay here again.

This was a perfect place to stay in Liverpool. On the waterfront and quiet but within walking distance of shops/ restaurants. It is very well kept, extremely clean and tidy. We just stayed one night and didn’t particularly need many of the amenities but it seemed very well equipped. Siobhan was very helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend.

It was my third stay in West Kirby at Kate’s. It’s such a peaceful, tranquil quiet apartment and close to all amenities. I love the fact that it is only a few minutes walk from the promenade area which I particularly love. Enjoy sitting out at nearby cafes enjoying a capuccino in the sun. Wonderful. 👌🙂

Claire’s home is lovely, it has everything you need for a few days in Liverpool. Great location for the Albert Dock and only a short walk from there into town. Claire is a great host, very responsive and friendly. Would definitely recommend the apartment to anyone visiting Liverpool.

We enjoyed our recent stay in Marie’s apartment. It was extremely clean tidy and comfortable. Situated within easy walking distance to the train station and the beach. Would highly recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment in West Kirby. It was spotless and had everything you could possibly need. The view was amazing and we were able to sit out on the balcony. There was enough to do in West Kirby, we enjoyed the walk around the Marine Lake and ate at some nice restaurants. It was also accessible to main roads/ motorways and we also used the train to get into Liverpool, which was easy. We would recommend this as a place to stay, and hope to return one day.

Fantastic in every way, it exceeded our expectations (which were high!). The apartment was stunning, with great thought obviously given to looks, comfort and practicality. Everything about it was generous. Amazing views, peaceful and yet so close to all amenities, buses and trains. A very special place.
