Places to stay in Gray
Sunset Haven is a beautiful 3BR, 1.5 bath year round lakeside cottage on Little Sebago Lake in Gray, Maine. It boasts a private beach and water frontage in the heart of Maine's Sebago Lakes Region. Located only about half an hour max from Portland, Maine and the Atlantic coastline, approximately an hour or less from Shawnee Peak and the Sunday River Ski areas, 40 minutes from Oxford Casino, this area is truly a great destination for four season recreation.
Beds: 1 Queen, 2 Full, 2 Twin, and 1 Queen pull out sofa. Working fireplace, wifi, high speed internet and cable through Time Warner. Large outdoor deck with stairs going down to the beach. Master BR and both baths are on the first floor. Two bedrooms up, each with one full and one twin bed. Stackable washer/dryer in the laundry area. Sunset Haven is a NON-SMOKING property.
Truly a Maine cottage neighborhood on Little Sebago Lake. Other cottages *are* close by, although Sunset Haven is surrounded by trees, is set back from the camp road, and still feels private. Sunset Haven is on a good sized lake. In the winter time, the lake freezes, however we do NOT recommend venturing out on the ice, especially if you are inexperienced with frozen lakes.
  • Totally love this place! It's just what a cabin should be - comfy, lots of places to curl up with a book, wonderful fireplace, right on the water. This is our second time visiting in March, and we're so relaxed from the moment we get there!

  • Sunset haven is a wonderful solitary retreat in the winter, with ample internal space and warm comforting character

    Ian2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful home in a beautiful location. Sunset Haven has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We loved the layout of the house, especially how large the kitchen was; where we spent most of our time in as a family. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place or stay here again.

  • Great place. Lots of nostalgic type items throughout the house. Great relaxing space for a winter getaway!

    Wayne2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Spent two snowy nights at this cute cabin in the middle of winter. It was wonderful.

    Denis2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • We stay here every year for our anniversary and hope to do so again next year. It's a beautiful place that lets us get a little bit out of the city and just relax without sacrificing any of the creature comforts we typically take for granted.

    Stephen2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • Spacious cabin, lots of great touches. I'll certainly be back!

    Aj2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • What beautiful rustic cabin that brought back fond childhood memories. The cabin was spacious and well appointed. The location was everything! We enjoyed a quiet and relaxing weekend with our two dogs, hiking, napping and a dinner out.

  • Our stay was wonderful! We had a wonderful weekend full of rest and refreshment due to cleanliness and coziness of this space. Also, if you’re a sucker for a killer view as we are, this is definitely your spot. The owner gives you privacy and the response time for communication was awesome. We would definitely stay here again!

  • Wonderful stay although it was 1 night i would live to stay again in the summer for several days. Kitchen setup was great dishes available, pots & pans allowing us to make a fantastic dinner with a beautiful view of he lake at night. Since it quite warm the night we stayed (40s) Sam allowed us to enjoy her firepit which was the perfect ending to our night.

  • Cute and comfortable place!

    Diana2020-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Sarah's place was impeccably clean and had everything we needed! They provided us with a full pitcher of ice cold water in the fridge and had some snacks on the table when we arrived(very thoughtful). I would definitely recommend Sarah's place and also would consider going back!

    Angela2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • I had a wonderfully relaxing time at Sarah’s place- the land is incredibly beautiful, where a steam meets the pond. I watched the ducks swim in the steam from the kitchen window every morning and evening- and the snowy landscape was perfect. And it was cozy and very comfortable inside! I would definitely stay here again!!

    Al2020-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • This is the second time my husband & I have stayed here and we love it! We will be back again soon!

The Retreat at Crystal Lake Farm is the perfect lake getaway. This charming second floor apartment is in the converted post & beam barn of the antique farmhouse on a working horse farm. It's rustic touches combined with clean lines and modern furniture creates a calm oasis... while the view out the expansive windows across the field to the paddock is serene. The Retreat is pet friendly with prior approval, and no additional pet fee.
This getaway features two comfortable bedrooms, a sleeping loft up the ladder, and full sized sleeper sofa in the living room, making sleeping for 8 a breeze. The large bathroom with laundry included, is spacious and airy and is accessed by the queen bedroom and the hall. The well appointed kitchen with wrap around breakfast bar is a perfect gathering spot for morning coffee or an afternoon drink. The second floor deck is spacious and looks out the back of the property onto the fields and paddocks.
The farm is located just across the way from the Crystal Lake, and adjacent to the Maine Wildlife Park. Just a few minutes from the Village of Gray, groceries, restaurant and shopping are close-by, yet you're out in the country. On the eastern edge of the lakes area, Thompson, Long and Sebago Lakes, as well as a handful of smaller lakes, are nearby.
  • Our stay was absolutely perfect! The location is beautiful and it's great to be able to go out and see the stars at night if you're used to living in area with light pollution. The kitchen and appliances are absolutely gorgeous and worked well for our group of 6 cooking and sharing a friendsgiving meal. The bathroom is gorgeous and all the sleeping accommodations were very comfortable. We will definitely be returning!

    Caitlin2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • It was a great time! Jonathan was a great host and we enjoyed visits from boogie monster!

    Jordan2019-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • The Retreat at Crystal Lake Farm is exactly as pictured except we were pleasantly surprised to see a TV in the LR, although we never had the chance to use it. Having my morning coffee while watching the horses across the field was delightful. Any questions we had were met with fast responses by Valerie. The weather was gray in Gray (cold, wet, snowy and cloudy) for our entire stay but The Retreat was warm, dry, comfy, and bright inside. We drove into Portland every day, even taking the scenic route to avoid the small tolls. The drive was about 25-30 mins. We would definitely book again in the spring or summer - I really want to check out the Maine Wildlife Park down the road, which had closed for the season a week before our visit. We recommend The Retreat at Crystal Lake Farm to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing stay. Thanks for everything, Valerie and Jonathan.

    Sandi2019-11-20T00:00:00Z
  • Great space! Perfect for driving in to Portland. Also feels rural though in a neighborhood - a great spot for a getaway and to relax

    Logan2019-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful stay! Valerie’s place was so cozy and clean, and we had everything we needed for a nice relaxing weekend away. Would highly recommend if you’re looking to stay in the area!

    Caitlin2019-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommended, amazing place. Clean and quiet. Jonathan was an amazing host.

    Tim2019-11-07T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful, quiet, comfortable, clean, unique space with so much natural light and lots of character!! It has all the necessary amenities a home needs, washer dryer, full kitchen, extra towels, comfortable beds and linens, storage place, and the outdoor space was perfect for my kids to run around and play ball. The kids also loved looking at the horses everyday and getting a chance to pet them too. We also enjoyed the fire pit set up we choose to do on one of the cold nights of our stay and it was perfect!! The home is in a great location, check in was a piece of cake, we received a welcoming greet from Johnathan. He also allowed us to check in a little early when we asked because of our flight arrangements. John was easy to communicate with whenever we needed him he was quick with a response. Over all, we all agreed we would love to come back to stay again at the Retreat at Crystal Lake Farm!!

    Gisella2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • The pictures were exactly the place. Jonathan and his wife were great. The cleaning fee is less expensive than most because you have to strip the beds yourself. Keep that in mind when you wonder why so cheap. Loved loved loved our stay. Definitely going to stay again.

This is a 3 bedroom suite apartment in our home. We live below. Someone is always available should you have questions (our phone #'s will be provided), or if wish to book Spa services on the property (spa & hot tub/sauna services not included w/ rental). Plentiful parking and a large yard. A quiet road right off of Rt 100/202. Located within 30 min of The Old Port, Freeport, Oxford Casino, Sebago Lakes and many wedding barns. Ski resorts within 1-2hr drive and many nearby hiking trails.
We fully remodeled this private apartment and furnished it with new mattresses, New pillows of various plushness, plenty of cookware amenities, towels and toiletries, ect. We have a Hot tub, sauna and massage business on the property and accept appointments either before or after you arrival. We are accessible if you have questions or need help in any way; from starting your car, finding the local businesses or entertainment, or how do I work a smart TV. Service is what we have prided our other businesses on and your booking is no exception. We strive for excellent service and guests at our spa tell us we achieve that goal time and time again. We welcome you to your new home away from home.
Weymouth Road is a beautiful winding road with lots of fields and local characters. I recommend enjoying a walk up to see Mary's house. She is a local artisan who's talent and playful personality is reflected in her property. There are many local trails and scenic attractions as well as Oxford casino, Freeport, Portland's Old Port, golf courses, State Parks and more then will fit here. If you have a particular interest and I don't know of a place I will find an answer. My friends are more well traveled then I.
  • We had a comfortable visit at this apartment. The space was immaculate on arrival. Laurie was a nice host quick to respond. I would recommend if you are staying in the area.

    Stephen2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I enjoyed our stay there. We were looking for a place that was quiet and out-of-the-way. Laurie please attention to a lot of small details that most places don’t put the time into. We also very much enjoyed the hot tub facility.

    Rich2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Laurie was every bit of the super host she is rated and more. She went above standards to ensure that our stay was convenient and comfortable. She even called ahead knowing that local stores would not be open due to our late arrival and provided a full complimentary breakfast of my choosing. The accommodations were extremely comfortable and spacious. We will definitely be returning!

  • Great place to stay! Spacious and homey

    Jennifer2019-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Girls weekend was a blast! We were so comfortable and Laurie took care of everything. And we even did massages and the hot tub which was the best!

    Ellie2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Laurie and Steve are both very personable and accommodating. Their airbnb is spotlessly clean and comfortable. The massages are top notch, and the outdoor hot tub is amazing. Communication was easy and concise. Highly recommend.

  • Sweet place to stay!

    Abigail2019-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Gray is a little out of the way, but close enough for some southern Maine traveling. The Heaven’s Door Airbnb experience is a lovely and lowkey place. The hosts are very hospitable and the space has everything you need plus some thoughtful extras in case you forgot anything! Would stay again! Plus there’s a super friendly cat that strolls around outside!

  • It is a beautiful house and is located in front of a very beautiful lake. It is also very wide and has all kinds of details.

  • Joann's place is really beautiful, We enjoyed the day hanging by the lake and taking some kayaks out on the water. It's a very quiet area which is nice. The house was super clean and spacious. You can see the water from the living room while you enjoy dinner, and the fireplace came in handy for the chilly night. My experience here was great and I totally recommend this place.

  • Amazing place . Everything was perfect

    Justine2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great place! We rented the place with two other couples for two nights. The house was clean, nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The deck overlooking the lake was a great place for coffee in the morning and wine at night! We would definitely come back!

    Kathleen2019-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful space. Lots of room. The kitchen has all one could ask and more. The showers are fabulous! Loved going out on the lake in the kayak. Renters should be aware that the road is fairly heavily trafficked and can be loud at times. We really enjoyed our stay.

Peaceful and private. My home is a country getaway with unique charm and has a feeling like no other. Just voted the safest town to live in Maine, located close to downtown Portland, the Portland Jet Port, Freeport, beautiful Maine beaches, apple orchards, a Gorgeous wedding venue a mile away called Caswell Farm and close to trails for hiking, my home has many options. It's the perfect family vacation destination. It's a great spot for a big family to stay and the rental is the entire home.
This lovely home was built in 1979 with a non-traditional post and beam style, so instead of mortise and tenon joints it is bolted. It has true 12" x 12" and 9" x 9" beams harvested locally. It is south facing and well insulated so the household efficiency is wonderful. We use wood heat with a back-up monitor heater. It is cozy and has everything someone would need for an amazing trip to the great State of Maine.
It is a nice rural neighborhood with nice neighbors and a peaceful setting. The sound of owls at night and crickets during the day is an often occurrence. The location is ideal for a visit to Portland which is about 15 minutes away or beautiful beaches anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes away. Also located near grocery stores and walking and hiking trails. A gorgeous wedding venue is located less than a mile away. Plus close to many more adventures in our great state.
  • Great vibes, would recommend & return back for another trip.

    Harrison2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • What a great stay! We wanted an unique place close to Portland... found it! The house lays out great. The kitchen is well-appointed and the bedrooms allow for some space between guests. The star is truly Amy's style, countless plants, & cozy feel of the house. (bonus: the hosts have thought of everything and amenities abound... towels, laundry, condiments, cookware, etc) We'll be staying here again!

    Jay2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • We felt at home the minute we walked into the house. The space is warm and inviting, literally. Amy had the wood stove already going. From the cozy couches to the extremely comfortable bedding we were able to live in complete relaxation for the week. Amy is a responsive and gracious host. If you want a truly rustic getaway in a unique and special house, this is the place to book.

    Katherine2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • We’ve stayed at Amy’s beautiful little cottage 3 years in a row, and we never fail to leave relaxed and rejuvenated. The decorations are so warm and quirky, and Amy’s hosting skills leave us consistently delighted. Highly recommend this space (and the wood burning stove)!!!

    Tom2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay, and Amy is an excellent host! Would definitely visit again.

    Stephen2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • What an amazing home! We spent two days here and had a fantastic time! The house is a converted old barn that is quirky in such we wonderful way. Great kitchen, great living area, great everything! We didn’t want to leave.

    Neil2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • This was an incredible place to stay. It was so unique and well decorated! It was close to Portland and good hiking spots. We loved the custom built shower and how cozy the space was. Amy was super excellent about communication and even helped shovel out our car when it snowed. I would definitely recommend to any one looking to visit Maine!

The view of Little Sebago lake is very good. The town of Gray is nearby and had all the amenities. Overall, we had fun. Highly recommended.

  • Nice spot across the street from the lake. I’d recommend bringing in firewood for the fire pit and wood grilling pellets for the grill. Great looking at the lake from the hot tub.

  • Loved the property. We had a fantastic stay. The house is across the street from the lake but has access 1/10th mile down the road. The hot tub was great and the amenities were perfect!

  • Our family of 9 (8 adults and 1 child) had a great stay! The house was beautiful, clean, and well-located. We had a great time enjoying the lake, relaxing in the hot tub, having dinner on the patio/deck, and sitting by the fire pit at night. We only had one rainy day and took the quick trip into Portland for some indoor entertainment. The lake is a short walk away and we loved kayaking and paddleboarding every day. The host was super responsive with small things that came up throughout the stay.

This quiet and cozy house is located in the woods at the renowned Ten Apple Farm. Centrally located in Southern ME, we're just a short drive from Portland, lakes, ski areas, LL Bean and more! On the farm you can meet and interact with our herd of goats, sheep, pigs and chickens, learn to milk, collect eggs, and arrange on of our famous goat hikes!
Welcome to the Woods House at Ten Apple Farm! The house is both a Maine woods getaway and a farm retreat. Nestled in 17 acres of woods, just down the hill from our farmhouse, this charming Cape was where Margaret's dad retired to after 40 years as an English professor. The decor is part literary lair, part Wes Anderson, with many touches that reference Professor Hathaway's idiosyncratic taste. Set at the end of a 400-foot private drive, with a lawn that gives way to blackberry brambles and woods, The Woods House is quiet and private. Our second-growth woods are perfect for hiking and snow-shoeing, and are great for wildlife watching. Keep an eye out for Mr. Brown, our resident owl, and the family of deer who frequent the lawn at dusk. Guests are invited to visit the farm where we milk our herd of alpine dairy goats twice daily, make cheese, and keep chickens, woolly pigs, sheep, turkeys, a large garden and small orchard. Let us know in advance if you'd like to schedule a goat hike! Find us on the web for more information about Ten Apple Farm. The house comfortably sleeps six in 3 bedrooms. There are 2 double beds and a trundle bed that can be configured to one or two single beds. There is a futon in the living room that can sleep two more, and for very large groups a second futon mattress that can be put on the floor in the master bedroom could sleep 2 more.
  • I can’t find enough words to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at the goat farm. It was a great location for us and what a cute town. We were surprised and appreciated so many special amenities like the goat milk, fresh eggs, the best scones we have ever had. Plus it was such a lovely farm and milking the goats experience was a memorable highlight of our vacation. It has wonderful hospitality and it is an amazing place to stay in a beautiful location.

    Debbie2019-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • Kids had a blast meeting the animals and playing with all the toys in the b&b.

    Karin2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • We had a nice stay at the goat house. The hosts were kind, greeted us when we arrived, and gave us fresh goats milk and eggs from the farm, and even dropped of baked goods while we were out one day. We were in town for a wedding and unfortunately had our whole weekend scheduled with wedding events so we were not able to visit the farm or meet the goats, which was a bummer.

    Katie2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • This was truly an amazing experience. You are an amazing and generous host, full of interesting knowledge. The goats were also delightful hosts, and it was such a pleasure getting to interact with them. (The library was an unexpected bonus, and I wish I'd had more time to explore it.) We loved the experience, and would love to come back someday.

    Gary2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Not only are Karl and Margaret some of the nicest people we have ever met, but our experience on the goat farm was one to remember! We had the wonderful opportunity of a private goat hike, as well as the ability to learn about the goats and their personalities and learn how to milk them! The woods house is a cozy, beautiful little cabin tucked away in the woods. You feel like you are in your own little world. Karl was super attentive and communicative with us, greeting us every morning and letting us know what to expect for the day and making us feel like we were part of the family — and their daughter makes amazing cookies! All in all this location and experience can not be beat :)

    Ashley2019-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time. Our hosts very patiently showed my four year old daughter how to milk their goats which totally made her year. Would definitely stay here again if we end up back in Maine.

    Michael2019-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing experience! We're so grateful to have one of a kind goat experience, a real farm life experience. Can't recommend Karl & Margaret's place enough!!

    Ada2019-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great, cozy place to stay that was accessible for our Nana. We enjoyed the goat walk and learnt a lot from Karl & Margaret.

  • Great location! Short ride to everything you may need and not far from portland! Pond is quiet and Kayaks were awesome! Our dogs were exhausted and we both left very relaxed! Perfect week in Maine!

    Elizabeth2019-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • We loved this beautiful cottage on the shores of a good sized pond. The swimming was perfect, we dove right off the dock, the swim across the pond was just long enough for us to need to catch our breath on the rocks across the way. The kayaks were perfect, an allowed us to go see the heron across the pond. We relaxed on the chaise lounges, enjoyed a fire at night, and were happy to see an outdoor dining area! The cottage was very well equipped, and when we needed anything, Elizabeth was very quick to respond. The location allowed us easy access to Portland and the seacoast, as well as being right in the midst of good walking and biking on the dirt roads. A restful place that accommodated up to 6 of us and has created memories.

    Anthony2019-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Elizabeth was amazing. The situation of the house on a private pond is just beautiful. 2 pontoons allow you to enjoy the best of the pond with also available 2 kayaks. The house is very well equipped and clean. We were able with its geographical location to easily go on excursions throughout Maine and Mount Washington or the White Mountains or Portsmouth NH.

    Michael2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic place to stay, quiet and fun for our 3 children. The canoes were great and we swam everyday in the lake. Lots to do around the area and quick drive to Portland and Freeport. Highly recommended!

  • We had a wonderful time on our trip. The house had everything we needed. The pond was great to swim in and my children enjoyed the paddle boat. We could not have asked for more!

Our house is nestled on the shores of Hayden Bay on Little Sebago lake. This is a great place for a family to come and experience Maine year-round! In the summer enjoy swimming, canoeing, fishing or just relaxing by the water with a book. The fall here in Maine is also a beautiful time to visit- leaf peeing is prime the month of October! The winter months are also a great- enjoy cross country skiing and snowmobiling on the lake or an easy 45 min drive to the closest downhill ski area.
Our house is located in a neighborhood, Little Sebago Lodges. It is a great place to walk and bike. The Good Life Market is just 3 miles away, where you can get lunch and a great cup of coffee. Enjoy the best ice cream around just 4 miles away at the Mosquito in Raymond.
  • This charming house with a view is as you would expect. There is plenty of room to accommodate a large number of people. The main level is spacious and comforting. Being right on the lake was enjoyable and we loved our stay!

    Brittany2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful and very clean home! This house had everything that you could/would need on a lake. The communication was great from the start and we were very impressed with the amenities.

  • We had a great stay at Wellens's place. The house had plenty of space for everyone and had everything we could need. We loved being right on the frozen lake with amazing views and we were only a short drive away from town. Loved the place and will definitely stay here again!

    Tanner2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • I can not say enough good about our stay here. Hands down the best air bnb experience I’ve ever had. The house is absolutely beautiful with everything you could need to make yourself at home. It comfortably housed our group of 10 for three nights. The view was breathtaking, so much better than I could have imagined. Wellens was such a huge help with every question I had and was super quick to respond. A snow storm hit on our first day and she made sure the driveway was plowed the next morning. Not only was the house full of helpful things but there is a binder on the kitchen counter with a list of local activities and restaurants. I am honestly shocked at the value of the experience for how inexpensive it was. If you’re considering staying here you will not be disappointed. Can’t wait to come back in the summer!

    Kylie2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at this place for after Christmas family time and we really enjoyed watching the sun rise over the lake, seeing the brave fox cross the ice and making s’mores by the fire. It is a great spot for all seasons and we hope to come back to enjoy all the water activities that we can’t do in ice :) we really enjoyed our stay!

Welcome to Birchwood! Birchwood is a completely renovated, cozy cottage. It is tucked back in a quiet cove, with 120ft of lake front, located directly on Little Sebago. This camp has an open (full)kitchen/dining/living area and has two bedrooms; queen size bed and roll away cot in one room and 2 twin size beds and another roll away cot in the other room (there are additional sleeping spaces in the living room). The camp comes with ample parking for family and friends gathering to enjoy the lake!
Birchwood has had a total renovation that was completed in March 2018. It is open concept living with views of the water in almost every room. Birchwood is located on a double lot, so there is plenty of room for large families, large dogs and/or small kids with large personalities.
  • Such a lovely place if you like to tuck away for a bit. My February stay on a frozen lake was amply warm with the heating and extra blankets available and Brandon was helpful and communicative when I wanted to extend my stay and my app had a meltdown. The Purple House cafe and the record/audio equipment store that looked like an abandoned Radio Shack were fun nearby adventure locations. Awesome place!

    Lisa2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot! Our family had the best Thanksgiving.

    Brian2019-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • We loved it. Even out of main fall season... and on an extremely rainy day. Cabin was cozy, clean and such a pretty view. It’s a close drive to everything you’ll need. Recommended.

Lots of colors. Awesome place to come hang out after a long day of hiking or hanging put at sabego lake. I live on a dead end road, so there's not a lot of traffic and its quiet. I have a medium size dog named luna.. Super nice. Its 7 miles from sebago.
My place is warm and accepting. A wonderful place to stay. Really close to sebago lake. Drive in movies just 20 mins away.

  • Our stay at Grant’s felt like home away from home. We basically took over his house for almost 3 weeks and he was kind and gracious the entire time. The bedrooms are upstairs so renters with mobility issues may have trouble. Others should definitely enjoy his comfortable (especially the beds) and inviting home.

    Elizabeth2019-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • We had a nice stay. Grant is great host and suggested several attractions to do nearby. We highly recommend!

    Mathieu2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • The best way to get to know Gray in portland, if you are thinking of enjoying the lake is in a good location to move to those areas, the place is very quiet

    Rublan2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Grant’s house is a classic Maine farmhouse: quirky, rambling, with great period details. I had my choice of bedrooms, and took one with a wonderfully comfy double brass bed and cheery yellow walls. He was an excellent host, warm and welcoming. A lovely respite!

    Bella2019-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • Grant is an awesome dude who possesses a rare blend of friendliness and warmth that owes directly to how often his guests end up hanging out with him and including him on vacation events. He is extremely giving and non judgemental which lead to a really comfortable and right at home experience. His bnb is IDEAL for young couples (25-35) due to the atmosphere and open nature of the host. His house is absolutely beautiful and he is extremely sharing. We enjoyed the old style bathtub and amenenties that came with it. He offered to make dinner with us which was really nice and something we looked forward too if we could have stayed longer. We ended up having a fire one of the nights and we hung out for awhile enjoying a really naturally comfortable experience right next to his beautiful front entryway that is decorated beautifully. When you stay with grant, you feel like you’re staying at your buddies house for the weekend, one that hasn’t seen you in years and is just happy to have you around. A rare gem here on airbnb

  • This is an amazing old farm house with big windows, ceiling fans, and beautiful accents. The room is very comfortable with tons of pillows. The hosts are wonderful and so friendly! They made us breakfast both mornings which was an unexpected and lovely surprise. Check in was very easy and flexible. Location was perfect for the wedding we were attending. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

This house is located quietly at the back of the property. It is pet and child friendly. Fencing is provided for even more privacy. It is a large open concept kitchen/living area with one private bedroom. The pull out sofa is queen size with a posturepedic mattress and there is a twin size bed as well. The fireplace is electric. Heating and cooling is heat pump. Smart TV includes your favorite apps. There is an efficiency washer/dryer suitable for small loads.
Patio includes a dual gas and charcoal grill, gas fire pit, patio table seats 6 and a lounge swing.
We are within a half an hour - one hour drive of many attractions. Located slightly off RT100/202 the privacy of being at the back of the lot ensures less noise from traffic. Once the privacy fence is up it is unlikely you will even be aware you are conveniently near the highway that takes you to many fasinating destinations here in Maine.
  • Laurie was knowledge of the area, welcoming to our family, accommodating to our situation, and very helpful during our extended stay (Nov.-Jan.) providing flexible dates/times, prompt snow and trash removal. The house was a good size, clean, comfortable and fully stocked for any length of stay during any time of the year. She also has a very hygienic hot tub for rent on the property as well, to unwind after a long day. I would recommend anyone that needs a weekend away or an extended stay in the city of Grey to Laurie. The city is centrally located and 30 mins from Portland, close to I-95 and just down the road to several delicious quick eats including Nu Brewery, Goody’s Pizza and Manee Thai.

  • Clean, roomy and comfortable space. Nice little patio with privacy fence, gas fireplace, grill and table and chairs. AC and heat worked great. Laurie washed and dried the bedding and towels when needed. Laurie provided coffee and breakfast food!

  • What a wonderful hideaway!! Perfect amenities and attention to guests. Laurie could not have been nicer. The outdoor patio and roomy kitchen are ideal. And the reach-out prior to our arrival to see what we needed in the fridge was beyond what most hosts have done for me in my manhy AirBnb experiences. Refreshing and delightful.

The Tree Yurt is quite literally a yurt in the trees. Surrounded by trees, this is glamping close to Portland and Freeport. Please note: There is a main house on the property which is rented out as well. There is a chance the house and the yurt will be rented out at the same time. The yurt is approximately 200 feet from the house and the only shared space is the driveway, so it is actually very private. Please respect each guests privacy and use the yurt path to and from the driveway. Thanks
Park in the designated yurt spot in the driveway and follow signs through the woods to the Tree Yurt. Surrounded by nature, get ready to relax and unwind in my glamping spot that's as unique as it is peaceful. Located at the base of the stairs to the left is the fire pit area and to the right the outhouse which houses a dry flush toilet. Up the stairs on the deck is various seating areas and the BBQ grill. Inside there is a small fridge and another cooktop. A woodstove makes the coziness pop along with comfy bedding and a relaxing atmosphere. Coming in 2020 will be the bridge to the fairy land where kids of all ages can make fairy houses for the woodland creatures.
A Natural beauty. My area is rural with many trees and woods in between my neighbors and the TreeYurt. I am located across the road from an apple orchard and down the road from another.
  • We had a wonderful stay at the Tree Yurt. The bed was comfy, the fire was warm and the space is so cozy and comforting. Waking up to seeing the trees through the skylight was a plus! Would stay again for sure!

  • I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed this stay! I had to come to Portland for both business and a social visit and Megumi's place gave me exactly what I needed! First of all, the space is very comfortable - it's a full 1 bedroom in-law apartment behind the garage. It's spacious with a full kitchen and bath as well as cable TV! The entrance is private with parking right outside the door and lovely woods on 3 sides. It is so peacefully quiet! Check in/out could not have been easier and communication was prompt and friendly. The space was impeccably clean and the bed was comfortable! The location is about 20 minutes from Portland and worth the short drive when you consider how reasonably priced Megumi's place is compared to anything within or just outside the city. I come to Portland at least a few times a year and will definitely stay here again and again!

  • Beautiful home on Little Sebago ... Heard the Loon's calling daily.. Eagle sightings also. Clean Bright and close to the Lake.

Our tiny little cottage is a quaint, 370 sq ft seasonal home that was built in the 1930's. It sits right on Pettingill Pond with a private dock. It is 35 minutes to Portland, Maine and is a stones throw to Sebago Lake and Little Sebago Lake and many hiking trails. We are 20 minutes from Naples Maine where there is plenty of seasonal activites and many restaurants.
It is important to me that everyone who stays has a wonderful visit! Because of that, I want to be sure to point out a few quirky things about our little cottage, so that I can be sure that our guests know exactly what to expect. This cabin has no separate bedroom. It is all one open space with a large king sized bed as well as a futon sofa that could be used for two small kids. There is no privacy between the futon and king sized bed, so this would not be comfortable for two adult couples. The only shower is an outside shower, and the only heat source is a small space heater. It is truly a seasonal cabin and we love that about it! The cottage is five minutes to grocery stores and anything else you could possibly need. You have many options for hiking, including Sebago Lake land reserve biking/walking trails. We are also 20 minutes to Naples where there is plenty to do with kids, and plenty of good restaurants to choose from. We have two stand up paddle boards and a canoe available for guests to use. Please bring life jackets for the kids. We have a few adult life jackets available.
  • Our second time at this adorable vintage cottage. Very small but perfect for a small group. Hope to visit again.

    Patricia2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • A great little cabin on a very sweet pond, super beautiful to swim around in, 30-40 minutes from Portland depending on traffic and really nice neighbors. Definitely recommended for a quiet get away!

    Grace2019-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • If you want a vacation in heaven, this is it. It’s so exquisite, and absolutely perfect for two people. The water is lovely, the neighbors are very nice, and Jill and Marcel are amazing hosts. Lots of local grocery stores. Chipmunks, robins, muskrats and all of that good stuff. Did I mention how nice the water is? Because, really, it’s amazing. Well stocked kitchen. Between the super deluxe hot plate and the grill, we were set. Two (small) refrigerators and a freezer kept us in great shape, and it’s astonishingly aesthetically pleasing. Marcel is an architect and designed the most charming bridge to the deck and a lovely outdoor shower This house is an utter delight. Honestly, next time I would rent it for a month, I cannot recommend it highly enough. I feel privileged and honored to have had the chance to stay at such a well loved and historic home.

    Jenny2019-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • Marcel's cabin is absolutely lovely. It is cute, quaint, serene, and just a good place for the soul. Their cabin is small but adorable and has plenty of room for a nice trip. The location is just about a half hour outside of DT Portland and is located right on the shore of the cutest little pond/lake. They allowed us to borrow their paddleboards and it was just so fun to cruise around the pond. The outdoor shower is AMAZING! The bed is super comfy. I honestly will be looking to go stay at their cabin again as soon as I can. It's truly wonderful.

    Jennifer2019-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing stay at the cottage. Everything was as advertised, and the pond exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed paddleboarding, sunning on the deck, and grilling. The cottage itself is very cozy and perfect for a couple's trip. Highly recommend!

    Hanna2019-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • This very little place is quaint vintage and simple. Right on the lake and basically unapproved since 1935. We loved it for all these reasons but may not be for everybody.

    Patricia2019-06-11T00:00:00Z
  • What a gem! I can’t wait to go back!

  • Very cozy cabin! Thankful we got use to this place for ice fishing this weekend. Dan was super responsive and left us breakfast for the morning. Would use again for sure. Will consider using again in the future for sure!

    Meghan2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • This home was quaint, private, comfortable, and perfect for a small family. Dan made us feel welcome by decorating with a bouquet of flowers and bagels and cream cheese in the fridge. He was readily available when needed, and very personable. We couldn’t have chosen a better host and home to live in temporarily. With Dan lending us his home, it allowed us to find our forever home, and buy us time. I couldn’t thank him enough for allowing us to stay there, and offering a safe and comfortable home. While we did not get to go ice fishing, we did get to view the lake turn to a deep freeze, and see families pile on the lake to fish. The sounds the lake makes as it turns to ice is amazing. Something I’ve never heard before: The experience is something to remember. Thanks again for everything!

    Melissa2020-01-15T00:00:00Z
  • Very tidy and lovely AirBnb house equipped with everything you need. A comfy bed and nice living area. Waking up to the view of the lake was beautiful and worth it. Dan is a great host and was very responsive We had a great stay!

    Nicolette2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • A group of four of us stayed here for the weekend and it was the perfect space for two nights away. Such a pretty view out the master bedroom and the house has to coolest decorations. Dan left us some bagels and cream cheese for breakfast.. such a thoughtful touch! Definitely would recommend this place for a weekend away and we’d absolutely stay here again if we’re back in the area.

    Taryn2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Cute getaway with great views overlooking the lake. Close to Lewiston and Auburn and not too far from Freeport. Great lake with plenty of room to explore.

    Kevin2019-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • Dan's house is cozy, clean and personal. Right by the lake, and complete with a fire pit this was the ultimate Maine gettaway. I truly feel like I found a gem in this space.

We have never stayed in a tiny house before this one and we enjoyed it immensely. If you’re staying in the area, I would highly recommend this house a great option.

    Andrew2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Just as pictured and described! Cute little space to crash and recharge. Everything was clean and check in was a breeze. Tarsha was lovely to communicate with.

  • Great place to close to everything yet still hidden.

    Michael2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • The WiFi is unreliable if you need it yo work well you have to go outside closer to the house, I sat in the car to write emails. To be expected there is an odor with the port-a-potty. The shower fluctuates very hot to very cold can be a challenge. Overall the tiny house was a great experience and i thoroughly enjoyed my stay there just know what to expect. Definitely drive out to Portland one day!

The ideal getaway in the heart of Sebago Lakes Region. One of a kind, end of a private road, no traffic here. Sleeps 8 comfortably (2 queens, 4twins) with a living area large enough, too. Feels like your in the wilderness yet only 2mi to town or 20mi to Portland.
Very Private, Open concept with catwalk to loft, sunrise and sunset covered porches. Play some crochet, volleyball or frisbee in the yard. Pour a glass of wine, light a fire in the Russian fireplace, chiminea or fire pit. Relax in the claw-foot tub or play the organ in the living area. Gas cook-top and oven to cook up a gourmet meal. Two closed door bedrooms and one open loft. Enjoy the seclusion, the only neighbors visible from the property are the trees, turkeys or deer, and I saw some rabbit tracks the other day. But, definitely not isolated only 2 mi to an abundance of shopping/restaurant options or 20 mi to so much more in Portland.
Nice and private but, not isolated. The closest neighbors visible from the cabin are trees, and occasional wildlife. Enjoy a 1/4 mile stroll down the hill , cross Mount Hunger Shore Rd to the public boat launch to Little Sebago Lake. Sneak to the Peak for some day or night downhill skiing. Hiking trails are right out the back door as soon as the snow starts to fly, access for cross country skiing ,snowshoeing and snowmobiling. If your in the mood for fresh seafood..Bob's Seafood is right on 302 just before the turnoff.
  • This cabin is great for some rest and relaxation! Very inviting and secluded! I look forward to a return visit in the future.

  • What a wonderful place! We will definitely go back. Very private, beautiful setting. The house is really comfortable. Great fireplace and lots of thoughtful touches throughout. A great place to get away and recharge. Wonderful cross country skiing nearby, too. Highly recommended!

    Marla2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • we came during Christmas time and there were Christmas decorations and even a tree to capture the holiday spirit. The indoor and outdoor firepit was amazing. The only thing you should know before coming is the stove in the house is really old and runs really hot. Be careful when trying to open the door and make sure to check your food every so often so it doesnt burn. I hope we can make it back and stay again

    Hannah2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic home with everything you can imagine to make your get away enjoyable. Clean, well stocked and MaryJo is a doll. Highly recommend. We had a wonderful time visiting with family in the area over the Thanksgiving holiday.

    Lori2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • Mary Jo's place is absolutely lovely. Just enough off the beaten path to feel secluded, while still close enough to anything you'd need to get in a hurry. The pictures of the place really don't do it any justice, it's incredibly spacious yet surprisingly cozy. The roaring fire helps, of course! Close to Portland if going into the city is your thing, but far enough away for the people like me who are trying to get away from the city! I wouldn't hesitate to come back!

    Mike2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is full of character, a bit quirky and incredibly homely and comfortable. Thoughtful additions and great communication from the host. This suited us very well and we had a great couple of days here. The open fire was very welcome.

  • Location, hospitality, stylishness all exceeded my expectations but what really got me were Natalie & Jahn themselves. Stay here because you'll be amongst shy and thoughtful artists who fill the spacious cottage with the muted melodies of guitar and dreamy singing behind closed doors. Being around them (as fleeting as their appearance is out of respect for you) will make your heart happy and enrich your stay in one of the most beautiful areas of southern Maine.

    Leona2020-02-29T00:00:00Z

  • Natalie, Jahn, and Dunkin were amazing hosts. We had never stayed in an air bnb where the hosts also lived, but this was a pleasant surprise. They were down to earth, fun, accommodating hosts. We spent our last night hanging out with them singing, playing the guitar, and talking on the deck. We will definitely stay again and also stay in touch with these amazing, talented people!

  • if you can, make sure to book this lovely space. it’s a really sweet and spacious place with so much sun and charm. i was able to travel everywhere without a car. it’s a quick uber/lyft to portland or just take the bus that stops three minutes from their place. they have a schedule. it’s super easy, cheap and brings you into the center of portland. my bed was so cozy and the shower was great. coffee and bagels and cereal in the morning, they even managed hot coffee when a storm knocked out power to the entire town. so thoughtful and warm, i felt at home and slept like a baby every night. if you can, book this for a maine stay and say hi to dunkin for me. :)

  • We were blessed to be at Peggy and Brent's little Perfectly Imperfect cabin in the woods when the October Bomb Cyclone hit the New England coastline. They made sure we knew the weather forecasts, supplied us with extra water and flashlights and when the power went out their neighbor gave us access to his generator so we could make coffee. We felt well taken cared of. We were without power for 12 hours, unable to cook so Peggy provided a picnic that we all enjoyed. The little cabin is well supplied with everything we needed, including some nice extra touches.Thank you so much for providing a pleasant place to weather the storm. Kathy and Michael

  • My boyfriend and I spent four cozy nights at Nick’s place. It was rainy and grey for a majority of our trip, but that didn’t stop us from enjoying the beautiful view, the warm campfire, and the snazzy outdoor shower! The king bed was extremely comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the pellet stove kept us toasty. Neither of us had ever used a composting toilet, and by the end of our trip we were talking about wanting one in the future. We hated leaving, and would love to go back!

    Genavieve2019-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • The house is super cozy and has a full kitchen and microwave. We only stayed the night but we plan on coming back as the house is right by a river and Nicholas and Abigail provide a canoe for daytime adventures. Thanks so much, this place is an awesome little getaway!

  • The hosts hospitality and kindness was next level—it far exceeded the hospitality I’ve ever experienced, even at fancy resorts. I was looking for a secluded place but not totally in the middle of no where to stay to be “one with nature” but also be able to explore Portland. This was perfect in every way. From the little home, you can’t see any other properties which is so amazing. Just beautiful trees and amenities to enjoy like a fire pit, indoor fire stove thingy (forgive me idk the name), and the water is right down the hill (the private dock with the canoes were our favorite touch). It’s very private but the hosts live about 500 ft away and were always quick to respond if we had any questions (like restaurant reqs). TBH, I have hardly ever left a review for anything in my life but our stay was so great and the hosts were so gracious that I had no choice. I literally left our stay saying “wow I guess humans don’t suck” after Nick dropped everything to help us with car trouble. Thank you so much!

    Caroline2019-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • The space was the perfect combination of a camp and a modern living space. The hosts were responsive when needed and it truly felt like our own private space!

    Samantha2019-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • Cozy spot in the woods very private

    Katie2019-10-11T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful spot that is super comfortable and well done with some rustic touches. We really enjoyed the provided fishing poles and cooking supplies. The toilet took a little to get used to, but it was otherwise a seamless stay! Thank you so much!

    Cailey2019-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stayed . We really enjoyed the river, the birds and nature surrounding us!! We absolutely recommend this house! Thanks for everything Nicholas!

  • The location for exploring Maine is perfect. I’m a regular visitor to Maine so was happy that it was so close to all I hold near and dear. Quiet and off the beaten track yet only minutes from great exploration. I highly recommend and will be back myself soon!

  • Comfortable, sparkling clean, quiet, and private.

    Faye2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Sandy and Jerry were incredibly responsive, and their home was lovely! Even though I didn't have the opportunity to meet them, they left little notes with advice about the area around the suite - so nice. Their place was exactly as listed - private suite even with my own entrance to the home. Check in and check out was a breeze, and Freeport is a lovely, lovely town. I would certainly stay with Sandy and Jerry again, and I would recommend their place to anyone I knew.

    Amelia2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • The place is adorable!! Really comfortable, located in the middle of the woods, beautiful views but easy access to downtown Freeport and Portland with the car. Hosts are accommodating and thoughtful! Would definitely come back!!!

  • Very clean, private, and comfortable lodging. Close to everything including Brunswick and Portland. Thank you, Sandy and Jerry, for a wonderful stay.

    Lynn2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • I loved my stay at Sandy and Jerry’s. This was my first time using air bnb and it was a great experience. I am used to staying at hotels and this was better! They provided so many nice touches, like coffee creamer and breakfast bars, that made it extra convenient. I was on a solo get away so I really appreciate how their setup allows 100% privacy. I did not hear them once! The location is great - a very quite and seemingly safe neighborhood with people out walking and enjoying their day. Sandy and Jerry offered to let me check-in early to avoid driving in a snow storm and also shoveled out my entrance walkway and put salt to melt the ice. Very thoughtful and kind. Very comfortable bed and awesome pillows. 10/10 and will be staying again!

    Sara2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Cute and cozy space super close to Portland and coastal Maine towns. The big yard was great for our doggies. We ate breakfast at nearby Maple’s every morning (got the tip from another review)—so yummy!! The heat works really well and very quickly! Overall, a great stay!

    Maria Isabel2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Tami's place is a perfect getaway with fabulous amenities. You have everything you need here for a relaxing stay. Loved the layout of the kitchen and living area. Comfortable bed too. This is a great location for a visit to Portland, a 15 minute drive away from this beautiful spot. Highly recommended. Thanks Tami.

    Barbara2020-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend Sean and I stayed in this Airbnb for 11 nights while he was up from Georgia to visit. Out of all the Airbnbs we've stayed in, this one was definitely the best value for our money. It was well decorated, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the washer/dryer was a huge plus. There was plenty of paper towels, shampoo, dish soap, blankets, towels, and even condiments. Something that we were concerned about though was the electronic doorknobs' ability to lock. We were able to open all three doors to the suite after we thought they had been locked. However, I've always known Yarmouth to be a safe area so I wasn't super worried. Overall, we would stay here again. It's a nice location with many ideal spots close by and we were super grateful to have help shovelling out my car. Thank you!

Chill on the porch after exploring a scenic local walking trail and soak up the serenity of this breezy blue and white hideaway. Striped oars, starfish, smooth shells, and ocean scenes blend with shades of teal and aqua for a thoroughly calm space.
    The entire space. It’s private
The property is close to Portland, Brunswick, Lewiston, and Augusta. There are beaches and scenic trails nearby, as well as Route 1, which hugs the ocean. The White Mountains are also within easy reach for adventurers.
  • We had a lovely stay and would recommend to others. We'll definitely stay again.

    Miryam2020-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • Marcia’s place was spotless & the pictures accurately depicted the space. Marcia greeted us upon arrival and was very welcoming. Nice touches included a welcome board with our name on it, basket of oatmeal & snack bars, local area guides/restaurant menus, and large selection of coffee K cups & teas. The location worked out well for us 50+ minutes to gardens aglow & ~36 mins to Portland.

    Betty2019-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Cute and quiet place centrally located! Worked out perfectly for our needs. Marcia communicated quickly with check-in procedures.

    Tammy2019-12-21T00:00:00Z
  • Despite its previous excellent reviews, we were delighted to discover that Marcia’s place exceeded expectations. She was highly responsive from the moment of my first inquiry, and made it a point to welcome us personally. We had every single thing we might have wanted or needed — and more. We also appreciated coffee and other basics for the kitchen, special (and well-marked) touches such as extra pillows and quilts, and an incredible bathroom set-up (best ever in any airbnb in which we’ve stayed!). While still at Marcia’s, we hoped to book a return, but the optimal dates in summer were already gone.... We will try again, and in the meantime grazie mille.

    Marie2019-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely space! Marcia provided everything we needed to feel comfortable and at home.

  • Loved it so clean so nice

    Caleb2019-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • We absolutely loved our stay at this place! It immediately felt like home, and the little details did not go unnoticed or unappreciated. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, granola bars, and oatmeal. Very thoughtful items to include in the kitchen. A very clean atmosphere, spotless. The mattress was unbelievably comfortable, and the neighborhood was so quiet that we were able to sleep through the night for once (both nights of our stay!). Before staying here, I had no idea how disappointing my own water heater was. The shower stays nice and warm and heats up quickly. For a chilly November stay, me and my joints were pleasantly surprised by how warm it stayed inside! Thank you so much for our stay, I recommend this to anyone looking for accommodations in the area!

  • John and Cindy’s place offers a wonderful winter weekend getaway! The space was cozy and relaxing and the muffins and cookies Cindy makes are absolutely delicious. John and Cindy were very warm and welcoming hosts. We had a great time exploring the surrounding area on snowshoes with our 3 month old.

    Kate2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • John and Cindy were amazing hosts - we can't recommend this hidden gem enough. They greeted us with a warm welcome, lots of information about the house and the area, snacks, and treats for our fur babies! We had plenty of privacy, but knew that John and Cindy were available if we had any questions. The space was perfect for what we needed - it was clean, cozy, and warm. The DVD and game collection was a great touch, especially with the tea selection! The view of the lake was beautiful, and on top of everything else, we were greeted in the morning with delicious homemade blueberry muffins. This is a wonderful place to stay with lots of little details to make you feel comfortable and at ease.

  • This was the Final stay for the end of my 25th birthday weekend. We were in Wells Beach area prior to that, and the night before departure, I checked the weather for Gray Maine the next day, it was going to be pouring!!! I messaged John and Cindy, at about 8:45pm, and without any hesitation, they were so kind to let me reschedule my stay to this past weekend. (Thank you to both!) This weekend the weather was absolutely perfect. Being first week of November, We all jumped into little lake sebago aside the water temp being near 40 degrees. yes, cold. Scenery in this area especially with the location, is more than spectacular. Enjoy the fire pit while you have it,kayaks, the chairs in the backyard facing the lake, the Zen you feel on this property makes it so much better for the value. It is welcoming from the start. John and Cindi were so helpful due to the factor of having no kitchen. We made food while enjoying the outdoors until quiet time (9pm), we were lucky enough to see 3 deer. Pictures of the property on the website are amazing, but not justified unless seen in person. This place is a hidden gem. Check it out for yourself. Until next time. Dean

  • We were having a great time at John and Cindy’s place. They are really nice and have a really nice place. The place is very clean and we’re really comfortable stay at John and Cindy’s place. The view is amazing! Unfortunately, we didn’t have time try to do the kayaking. Highly recommended and will definitely come back :)

  • We had a wonderful night at John and Cindy’s place. They were both welcoming and made our stay easy. The upstairs was perfect for our family and we enjoyed the lake view. 😁

    Anna2019-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • John and Cindy were amazing. My wife and I spent a few nights in their suite and it was perfect. The house has great views of the lake and it’s back in woods a bit which we really appreciated. The location is great as you are less than a hour from Portland but far enough away to not see any city life. Tons to do in the area. John and Cindy go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable during your stay capping it off with cookies each night! They even provided something for our dog to sleep on...did not see that coming!! Highly recommend John and Cindy’s suite!!!

    Slade2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • What a beautiful location on the beautiful Little Sebago Lake! John and Cindy are warm and welcoming hosts who greeted us, welcomed our dog, and then left us with lots of privacy and comfy amenities. A great way to see new views of inland Maine!
