The Duplex is well located, in order to carry out procedures in the Ministry of Education and Health it is also very wide, Mr. Antonio is very friendly and helpful.

All good. We forgot boots and Oberdan helped us by sending them to the airport. We really appreciate it. The neighborhood has a lot of traffic, but also many things to do and eat, it is a good spot in the city.

House with a beautiful view in a great neighborhood, also some steps from market, pacetas la salteña (you must have la veggie salteña there for breakfast at least once) and a bit further the teleférico (airy train station of La Paz.

The ideal bedroom, has a private bathroom and a dressing room, the view is spectacular, very bright is an environment that stays warm. Everyone in the building very friendly. Really strategic area for tourists.

Oscar was an amazing host from the beginning. He wrote and asked my food preferences and when I told him i have a gluten allergy, he got me a few different varieties of gluten free bread and snacks for breakfast. He picked me up where the bus dropped me off late at night to make sure I was safe. The room was a lot bigger than the pictures and the bathroom was huge! It was really nice to have a private bathroom in the room. Oscar's house was super clean and very nice and spacious. This place was a lot better than I expected and I was very happy with it. The only thing I would like to comment on is that the bed is extra firm and might need an additional pillow top to make it less stiff. Other than that, the place was great and perfect for a solo traveler! During my time in La Paz I got my phone stolen and Oscar's flat mate went with me to the police station to help file a report since I don't speak Spanish. Both of them went above and beyond what was expected and they were lovely hosts. I cannot recommend Oscar's place enough!

We love the location. We felt very welcomed, Marlene and her son were very nice and friendly, gave us several tips about the area. They helped us with everything we needed including altitude sickness.

Good cost-benefit. Marlene is caring and kind. It is clean, has towel and shampoo, spacious, only the noise of the street at night that complicates for the guest.

The room has everything you need. A big double bed with enough blankets to stay warm, a couch (which I used as closet), a desk, a chair and a TV (we didn‘t use it). We received a quick confirmation and were able to talk to Marlene in WhatsApp. Her answers are so quick, she takes care of everything and when I got sick from altitude, she took care of me with tea as well. We had a lovely stay and absolutely recommend :)

Quiet area, with services and transport nearby. Next to the center (you can go walking in about 20 minutes). The house with everything necessary, very cozy, like its owners, who make you feel at home and help you and advise you in everything that is in your hand.

Absolutely an amazing place to stay. Everything was absolutely clean. The beds were comfortable and had extra sheets and covers. Stylish interior and amazing light and view from the windows. Danielle was nice and answered promptly, and we really liked some of the details such as the water bottles and candy. Also there's every tool in the kitchen but a can opener. Overall excellent experience! Definitely would recommend and come back!

It was a perfect stay in La Paz! We arrived really early in La Paz but it was easy to check-in at the Air BnB because it is in the same building as a hostel. At the front desk you can also leave your luggage, buy some drinks and you can get also informations about all the tours around La Paz. The apartment was beautiful, totally clean and well equipped. Danielle answered to all questions really fast and also booked the Death Road-Tour for us, which was amazing! Would totally recommend it!

I loved Danielle’s place. It’s quite big. Shower temperature is hot and nice. The bed is BIG, and there’s space for everything. I recommend staying for more than one night. The location is perfect, and it’s a great deal for how big and nice the room is.

It's was such a great stay at Marcela's beautiful and warm home. It was prestine tidy, spacious room and private spacious bathroom. Really good location, close to get around to other places in La Paz and close walking distance to the cable cars (which is a lot of fun). Both Marcela and her husband made us feel very welcome, gave us good tips of things to visit and it really felt like we are visiting our family home. Also, Marcela kindly offered us to check in earlier since our bus from Patosi arrived early in the morning. The flat itself is very spacious and very charismatic. Both me and my husband loved staying in this accommodation and would happily do it again.

Asvaldo was a great host. His son greeted us and was very happy to share his local knowledge, pointing out bus stops and local spots. Asvaldo was very quick in replying to questions asked through air bnb and when the lock on our door wasn't working had no problems coming and sorting it out. Overall for the 1 night we stayed it was just what we were after.

Osvaldo received us very kindly, showed us all the accommodation and recommended many places to do and see, his house is very well equipped, on the stairs he has maps of the city, schedules of urban buses, supermarkets, and others. In the room you have a notebook with the basic information of the city! Highly recommended. The bed has many blankets not to be cold!

Lucia’s place is beautiful and conveniently located next to the bus terminal and red/orange lifts making it extremely easy to get anywhere and everywhere. Absolutely enjoyed my stay here, would definitely recommend!

Lucia is a sweet host. Her room is a nice rest pit from the crazyness that is La Paz. Short 20 min walk to center for shopping and 5 min walk to the terminal bus station which is an advantage. The bed is more on the soft side if you are someone who likes a hard bed (like me), but i slept a full 8 solid hours so can't complain. I would definately stay here again. Gracias Lucia.

As the name suggests, Lucia's house is a real oasis! It is beautifully decorated in an oriental style. You come in and feel super comfortable from the first second. This is not only due to the furnishings but also to Lucia who greeted me with a hug. Lucia is a very open, friendly, helpful and warm person with whom you can have good conversations and who will always make you laugh! I really enjoyed my week with her and would go back to her anytime! Simply great! :)

Me and my boyfriend arrived in La Paz 5:00am, it was an hour earlier that I told Andres I will be arrived. It was little hard to find a place, but Andres was outside waiting for me where taxi drop us, it was 5:30 in the morning, I really appreciated him. The place is pretty close to bus terminal but I recommend you to take a taxi or mini bus (super easy to get it, only $b2) coz it is very steep to get up to place. I am a person not really good with cold weather, for me the house was little bit too cold. Everything I needed was provided, Andres was always there to help me. Even bathroom in the room was super good :) I really enjoyed to stay with his place!

The place is nice, and Andres is friendly. It’s a bit far away from the center but the view from his living room on La Paz is amazing. There are so many vans to bring you to the center in 15 minutes.

We loved staying at Miryam's house, he is a great person and his house is very beautiful. Miryam was awaiting our arrival to receive us and show us the room and spaces of the house, he welcomed us with great kindness and a plate of fruit from his trees. The house is very well located, it is clean, the room is private and it is a perfect place to rest. There is wifi, hot water and you can use the spaces of the house such as kitchen, dining room, etc. There was a problem with the WiFi while we stayed, but Miryam gave us a chip with internet megabytes so that we could connect without problem. Fantastic little apartment close to Rodriquez market. The check in /check out was flexible and Riack was very friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. Quiet and relaxing place overall, I would definitely stay there again!

Lovely little place that has everything you need. Riack was very responsive and helpful. Also the shower is pretty good, which is an exception among the other airbnbs and flats that I've visited here. It's a 15 minute uphill walk from the main streets, which is worth bearing in mind if you've just flown in from sea level.

I couldn't recommend this place more. I needed somewhere quiet to work - I teach English online and its really important to have a strong wifi connection. I never had any connection problems during my stay here. Beyond that the apartment itself was so lovely to stay in. For one or two people its spacious, has everything you need to cook, not too far to walk to and from town (if you're okay going back up the hill on the way back), plus a beautiful view of the city. It really felt like a little home away from home and I ended up extending my stay. Riack and Laura were wonderful hosts, really helpful and friendly. Thanks so much!

Great location, two blocks from the Plaza de Armas, and not far from the Plaza San Francisco. There are many restaurants, cafes and clubs around. The closest teleferico I found was Obelisco. The studio is comfortable, with a good shower and a heater. The double bed was comfortable, but it wasn't exactly flat. The internet is fast and stable. The kitchen was fully equipped and functional. There is an inner city and sky view, on a clear day you can see Mount Illimani over a ridge (doesnt happen so often in rainy season). This is Centro La Paz, so you should expect to hear car noise and beeping during the day, it will start around 7am but does peter out around 10:30pm. The apartment is not facing the main road. The hosts were responsive and helpful.

Very good location and comfort of the apartment, very complete, the only drawback that really was not a problem as such is that it is on the 4th floor and there is no elevator. But all the rest exceeded my expectations.

Enrique and Ely rent the ground floor of their home. You live on the upper floor and are always available. There are several rooms, bathroom, kitchen and living room are shared by the guests. Everything is very spacious. In the living room there is a heater. Everything is pleasant "homely" (como en tu casa).

One of the best airbnb experiences in we have ever had in South America. Enrique & Ely are very nice and helpful. The room we stayed in is big and bright. Everything clean. The kitchen is well equipped. The shower is always hot. The house is up on the hill, but central located. I would recommend this house for everybody.

We really enjoyed our stay at Enrique and Ellys apartment. The apartment is spacious and we loved cooking in the well equipped, big kitchen, relaxing infront of the heater in the living room and enjoying the sun in the garden. The location was perfect for us, as it was just an 8 minute walk to the Sopocachi teleferico station and a 5 minute walk to restaurants and supermarkets. Enrique and Elly are both very friendly and welcoming people. They went out of their way to help us when we needed anything.

Super indicated. The location is very good. You are not in the middle of the confusion of the central region and yet you are close to many things. The facilities are great, they think of every detail from our arrival until the time to leave. Ely was very helpful and patient and gave us great directions so that the time of our stay was the best possible. I strongly recommend.

Really spacious and confortable place in a calm neighborhood. It's a little bit of a walk to the center (25 mins or so) but not too far from Sopocachi cafes and restaurants and only 10mins walk from a "teleferico" station (yellow line). Also, Ely and Enrique are really friendly and always ready to help. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed our stay there, Raul gave us a lot of tips about the city transportation, this place has a laundry machine which was very nice. The only issue was that we didn't had towels, he told us "there is towels in the closet", perhaps the cleaning lady forgot about them, unfortunately we realized that in the morning, he doesn't live there, so we couldn't ask for one, also because we were leaving that same morning, we stayed only one night there. But overall was a good place to stay. I'll definitely stay there again, I'll just make sure that the towels are there next time:)

Large apartment super well placed with a breathtaking view of La Paz from the top of its 14th floor! The kitchen and the washing machine were super convenient for us! The host was very flexible on the arrival time! The only small flat roof, it was a little cold but nothing insurmountable.

The apartment is just great. Huge rooms, equipped with everything you could need and the view from the different balconies is absolutely brilliant! The nights are a bit cool due to the lack of central heating (as is usual in La Paz), but the two small mobile heaters have provided a great remedy. Unfortunately we didn't meet Bernardo personally, but his mother welcomed us warmly in the apartment, showed us everything and gave lots of tips for restaurants etc. There was also a welcome pack in the kitchen with cookies, tea, beer and even altitude sickness pills. All in all: it couldn't be better :-) We will definitely be back when we are in La Paz again!

Bernardo's place is very spacious, I mean very. It has a huge balcony which is divided into a few sections, where you will see the beautiful landscape of the city and the night view is amazing too. There are 3 large bedrooms with double beds, 3 toilets and a huge living room/lounge/dinning room, the largest of all Airbnb's I have ever stayed. The rooms are clean and well equipped. Bernardo's brother received us and he was very kind, showing us around and explained how to use all facilities. Bernardo, his brother and brother's son all speak good English which is very rare when you travel around in South America and especially with Airbnb owners. It is particularly helpful for someone like me who hardly speak Spanish. This is the best Airbnb apartment we had stayed during our entire South America trip. Thank you Bernardo and your family!

Gilmar, despite our ignorance, advised us of everything we needed and brewed excellent tea on arrival.

Gilmar’s place is centrally located in La Paz. Our stay was short but he replied pretty fast to our inquiries. Also there’s an option for breakfast for 20BOB each, it included fried eggs, tea, plenty of milk, bread, jam, butter, fried sausages. He left me put my dinner leftover in his fridge. Make sure to look in G Maps for Plaza Gilberto Rojas because our taxi driver was wrong about its location and insisted to leave us about 1km away. Once there we tried to connect to his WiFi, cause no one seem to know the street name where the place is located. The signal was poor, but after many attempts it worked. His street is right next to the plaza, there’s a sign with the name of it on a house. Bathroom is just for you. Water pressure and heat were fine. We had keys for the house and the bedroom. Fair for the price!

Karen’s place in La Plaz is both a good economical and geographical choice. The apartment is not situated in the city center - but - within short distance, downhill, to both nice squares (Plaza Espanya) and the new (quite fantastic) public cabin line (Estación Teleférico Sopocachi, M.De Cervantes, La Paz, Bolivia). Beoynd this Karen is a great host, she has a lovely dog and even if my flight was delayed by 4 hours she still made her best to stay awake and welcome me. If you add this to the price, this is a great catch for a few days in La Paz.

Karen is a great host and her dog is just lovely! The appartment is clean and has everything you need. All that with an awesome view on La Paz. It s a 10min walk to get to Pz. Espana and a bit more to come back because the street are very steep but a minibus will take you there in a minute ;) I really enjoyed my stay at Karen's! Thank you for everything!

Incredible view of La Paz in a super quiet neighborhood. Public transport at the door and a walkable distance from the cable car. The location catered to my specific needs and Karen was super attentive with city orientations :)

Located in a quiet area, this is the perfect place to rest after a long day walking around to discover the city. Karen is really nice and friendly. She will always give some nice tips and advices about the city. I enjoyed a lot my conversation with her. I really felt at home during my stay. This is definitely a place where I would like to come back if I were to come to La Paz again.

Antonio is absolutely great host! He invited us for a Bolivian style breakfast, gave us a lot of information, and helped us a lot. The room was clean, has enough space for two, and well-furnished. Of course it’s located in a safe area. the only things are that it’s difficult to find his apartment and that wifi is very weak in the room. Anyway, i highly recommend you to stay here!

apartment: big, a lot of kitchen utensils, central location. wifi was fine but inside the apartment it worked only right next to the entrance door and outside the apartment in the stairway. overall a nice apartment with everything we needed. Antonio as a host: He was extremely hospitable, gave us food and beverages, responded to our requests and questions.

This is a fantastic apartment. The view is incredible, it is a panoramic view of La Paz, on a clear day you have a perfect view of the iconic Mount Illimani. I stayed in Centro and on the other side of the valley and you don't get a view as good as this one. The location is great, practically in Sopocachi which has to be one of the best neighbourhoods for quality restaurants and bars. It is a 15 -20 Bob taxi ride into Centro. There is a supermarket a few blocks away. The apartment has all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay. You couldn't ask for more from the hosts, they really try hard to make sure you are enjoying your stay, and were very friendly.

We arrived at dawn, they worried about waiting for us and that we arrived well. Both are very friendly. As for the floor, the view is incredible, it has all the services working well. The area is quiet. We were satisfied.

Staying with Priscila and Marco was like staying with family, they went above and beyond with tips and touches, highly communicative and just made our stay a home away from home. So much so we will be back! The view is just amazing and we really didn’t want to leave the apartment, close to everything you can need and more, walking to the city, markets, amazing coffee shops and the cable car. Highly recommend staying if you’re going to La Paz.

It's been a fantastic time for Ely and Enrique. The apartment is very large and comfortable. It has a kitchen that has everything and the bathroom has a shower with hot water. In total there are three rooms in the apartment. Ely and Enrique live upstairs, so anything is fenced in to help. They are very kind people. They helped me with many things, for example freeing my cel and even let me participate in a family tour the weekend. I can recommend staying with them :)

The nicest hosts you'll ever meet!!!! They were super friendly and very very helpful, especially on my 1st day arriving when my 'direct' bus wasn't so direct and I arrived hours later than I originally told them I was going to arrive. Enrique and Ely also live upstairs so if you have any questions they were only happy to help. Their house is located in a great area of la paz, close to the yellow teleferico, super markets, mini buses and even a language school. The house has 24 hour hot water, a very well equipped kitchen and a big living room. The room itself was very comfortable, well lit and had lots of storage.
