Tom and the neighbor Shelly were great hosts. The house was amazing as was the landscape around it. Driveway isn't trailer friendly but there is space at the bottom to keep it. I would recomend it to anyone.

Although I did not have the pleasure of meeting my hosts, Samantha left the house in impeccable condition for myself and my two best friends. We were traveling out that way to go to Steamboat Springs, but the listings within SS were too expensive. So I began looking slightly outside of SS and was so pleasantly surprised and now effectively satisfied with this listing. The loft is beautiful, airy, and the stargazing that's advertised is exactly as wonderful as you'd think. I have never in my life gazed up at so many stars untouched by human pollution or buildings. The bathroom is charming and very clean, and there are windows all over the house. So many that we didn't need lights on in the house, except at night. Their kitty was friendly and not persistent or annoying, but quietly cuddly and grateful for whatever attention we offered. Our beds were comfortable and the kitchen had eggs & toast for our breakfast, as well as being fully stocked with all the necessary items for the dinner we cooked! The forest is truly their backyard as it's nudged up to the house and garage all around. Their yard is composed of wild flowers, wild grasses, and small, wild shrubs. It makes the fire pit situated amongst the trees just behind their house feel like a Disney movie at night. It was so beautiful, and the only thing that could have made our stay better would be meeting the beautiful family that inhabits such a great property. We'll have to come back in that case. Thank you! Our trip was made that much better by a comfortable and welcoming place to stay!

We absolutely loved staying here! Samantha and jimmy were so kind and thoughtful. Their animals are super sweet and daughter is just adorable. They were so accommodating and let us make our own breakfast since we had to get up at 4am. Samantha was so sweet and even got us energy chews to fuel us for our marathon! The space was awesome and the bed was super comfy. We were very comfortable and the house is beautiful and perfect for star gazing. We would absolutely stay here again if the opportunity arose. We had a wonderful time at this dream-like place in this lovely cozy home. We didn't get to meet Samantha, but we met her husband Jonny and their beautiful daughter who made us feel welcome. He gave us great hiking and eating-out tips, and we were fascinated by the way they are living and planning there future adventures. The views from our loft windows were magnificent during the day, and stars and a full moon over mountain tops made our nights even more exciting! I warmly recommend this beautiful loft and amazing people living in it that made us fell like at home.

Samantha was very friendly and welcoming. We, actually, arrived kind of late around 9:30pm and her and her husband Johnny were very understanding and kool about it. They do have a big dog who might bark at first but is very friendly and I think he mostly stays in the basement with them unless outside. The house is super cozy and relaxing. The bed was extremely comfortable and exceed all expectations; definitely much better than you'd get at a hotel. I think it came with at least 6 pillows. I, also, really liked the fact that the shower had two heads which allowed my girlfriend and I to shower quickly together before our day of snowboarding. I highly recommend booking a night with them!

Wow - what a view!! Beautiful, clean space. Samantha was easy to communicate with via Airbnb and gracious about our late check in. I unfortunately did not get to meet her, but Jimmy was a pleasure to talk to in the morning. It was a great spot, we were very comfortable and I highly recommend it!

Beautiful place full of wildlife and off the beaten path. The cabins are clean and well decorated. Very comfy place to come back to after enjoying everything in the area.

This place is wonderful! Becky is a great host and the cabin is nice and cozy! You are far away enough to explore the outdoors and enjoy the quiet but also close enough to drive into steamboat for dinner or other activities. We enjoyed this place and will be back :)

Lovely cabin. Perfect place to stay for a ski trip to steamboat!

We really enjoyed our time at Roxanne's cabin. Great location enjoying the nordic skiing and snowshoeing near Steamboat Lake/Clark and even for heading into Steamboat Springs. The cabin was super comfortable - great kitchen, comfortable living space, cozy fireplace. Out of the way enough to feel like you're getting away from things while close enough to towns to not have to worry about making sure you remembered everything. Roxanne was super hospitable and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay there again in the future!

We had an amazing experience at the Standford Cabin Bunk House. Shelley was a great host. The cabin was clean and had everything you could need. Our dog Ajax had an absolute blast playing in the pond and hiking Hahns Peak. If you are looking for a quiet getaway and love the outdoors this is the perfect place. Thanks again Shelley and we will be back.

Shelly was great. She came and said hello when we were out on the front porch enjoying the view and the abundant seating. The place had lots of unexpected little things like salt & pepper that made the stay more comfortable. Just a little way off the the main road, so it was close to the only local store with gas and other things you may have forgotten. Nice, quiet neighborhood. The toilet & shower were a little out of the way, but that was expected. We'd stay again.

This was my first airbnb experience and my husband and I were absolutely thrilled. The property was breathtaking and exactly as described and pictured, except in real life it's even better. Shelley was kind, informative, and absolutely lovely. Her hospitality was amazing, and she thought of EVERYTHING! You literally can come here, with a change of clothes and be happy. Her pups were awesome, and it was so nice to be able to travel with ours. The bunkhouse itself is cozy, and beautifully decorated. The bed was comfy, and having a camp fire at night was perfect. The property is gorgeous. Upon arrival we were met with the most glorious sunset, s'mores, popcorn, coffee for the a.m. ( VERY important), and home bread. Seriously?!? Just perfect.

We had a wonderful time here at the one room bunkhouse. My son and his friend spent hours at the little pond fishing. They caught a bunch of fish and even a beautiful golden trout. All were released back for the next eager fisherman. The view is amazing! Shelly provided everything, including smores for enjoying around the fire pit at night, while the boys played guitar.

We had a great 3-night stay at the Bunk House. I agree with everyone's comments-Shelley has thought of everything! The views are amazing and you are very close to state parks, hikes and beautiful drives. Our dog had a blast too! It's all the fun parts of camping but add a cozy cabin and comfortable bed!

Shelley's place was absolutely perfect! The house is well maintained, the bathroom is exactly as described, and Shelley didn't leave out a single detail. Without a doubt the best airbnb place that we have stayed at.

Shelley was such a sweet heart I am obsessed with the bunk house! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a getaway. The photos on this ad do not do justice! The place is magical. Shelley had fresh flowers and muffins upon arrival and made us feel very welcome. The town of Clark is wonderful! We went dancing one night at the local bar and all the locals were more than helpful when we were trying to find places to fish. This was my first Airbnb and it was so easy and totally worth it!

I can not say one bad thing about our stay!!! it was absolutely perfect. truly felt like home. Tom & Kris were unbelievable hosts. from the welcome brownies to walking our dogs while we were skiing. I've never felt so at home so far away. this is the place. you will not be disappointed! oh and the pictures do not do it justice! one of the most beautiful homes in the area. about 15 minutes away from the ski hill made for the private spot away from the hustle and bustle of town. the view from the deck is breathtaking. the picture window off the master bedroom was the most unexpected surprise. the private hot tub was well maintained and the house spotless! Spacious home, well equipped kitchen, very comfy bedrooms, clean everywhere, three full bathrooms, hot tub, amazing view from every window and great deck. Our group consisted of 8 adults and 3 children. We brought pack-and-plays for the children and everyone was very comfortable. We had a fabulous time.

Of all the vacation rentals I've rented, Kris & Tom's was our favorite. Kris and Tom's place was beautiful and the views were amazing! Kris & Tom were the most friendly I've ever encountered. Kris even walked her dog with me and my dog. I hope my travels take me back to Steamboat Springs so I can stay at their place again.

Great neighborhood and house, we had a great long weekend. Everyone was impressed with how well stocked the kitchen was. Also, we especially enjoyed how dog-friendly Tom and Kris are.

In short Wow, and incredible. Tom and Kris are great. The house exceeded expectations. The pictures don't do it justice. The view from the deck is beautiful, kitchen is great to cook in and loaded with everything you need. The knives are even sharp. The beds are so comfortable , the neighborhood is quiet and make sure to use the hot tub. It's a cool experience sitting in the hot tub at night while deer graze 10 years from you. This was our first airbnb experience and I can say enough good things about the Corls and their house.

My family stayed for 6 nights for my parents 50th anniversary. We had an awesome time! The view of the mountains from the deck was pretty amazing, my parents greatly enjoyed sitting out and eating breakfast or bbqing.

Kris' place was perfect for us (family of 5- with 2 dogs). Everything she described- and the view was incredible. We spent every evening out on the deck enjoying the sunset and starts. Most impressive was how well stocked the place was; we have rented a lot of vacation units- and far and away- Kris had the most items provided (particularly the kitchen). Really appreciated what Kris did to make us feel at home- we will definitely be back.

Louise and family were so easy to stay with. They really have a great apartment in a beautiful area of the country, yet close to town. They were quick to reply, helpful with tips about town and activities, and friendly. Louise went out of her way to make our vacation all we had hoped for.

We enjoyed or stay at Louise's place. It was close to town but in a rural setting with wonderful views. The space has wonderful high ceilings and combined with the bedroom and bathroom, it was spacious and cozy for our family of 4. The hosts are upstairs but their noise is very minimal and non-invasive. They were welcoming and very easy to get along with. The furnishings were comfortable and there is everything you need for cooking, media for movies/TV. The main bed is very comfortable as is the sofa bed. Plenty of hot water, instructions for the unit, ideas for visiting the town, etc. We recommend Louise's place.

This basement apartment is about 10-15 minutes out of town but is a good value for the price. It is spacious and would be a good place to stay with kids. The kitchenette was well enough stocked to make simple meals. Host and family were very pleasant and accommodating.

The private suite was open and spacious, the view was beautiful, and Louise was a great host!

If you are looking for something the is family friendly then this is the place! We enjoyed how convenient it was to town!

Alayna's place was wonderful! Such a gem! It was large and comfortable with two VERY comfortable beds in one room and nice sitting area with sleeper sofa in another. We woke up to the peaceful scene of cows and horses grazing on the hill. Picture perfect setting! Alayna was a great host and provided just the right amount of amenities to make it a comfortable stay. The unit has a fridge, microwave and Keurig with coffee and tea, as well, which were really nice to have available! It's also conveniently close to downtown Steamboat. All around great! Great suite-style rooms only a 10 min drive from town. Private since it has its own door through the garage without having noise from other parts of the home. Great value compared to other homes close to the resort - would definitely stay here again for future trips!

Where should I even begin.. This is the BEST experience ever! The host is super nice, the wife keeps checking on us to make sure we can find their ranch house ok. And they did give us very specific detailed instructions ahead time. Place is nice cozy and clean, they have a mini fridge,a microwave and a K cup in the place, also plenty of drinking water. The host stocks a good variety of coffee,tea, hot cocoa,even apple ciders!!! Waking up with a great view, and their cute horses on the ranch is the best feeling!

Very easy booking, nice private space. Was clean and cute. Loved being further out of town and having the beautiful views in the morning. Was great for my boyfriend and I to relax and unwind, but would also be great for a close group of friends or a family since there were [plenty of spots to sleep.

Alayna's suite was an absolute delight. Beautiful views, tasty coffee, and two comfy beds were just what we needed. (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps is not helpful to find her house, but she has videos prepared for you and it's actually quite easy to find your great night's sleep just outside of town.

Alayna was very nice and and a gracious host, great communication, and Grandma Sally was adorable to greet us upon checking in. A beautiful, clean, warm place to stay. We will most certainly be back!

We had a wonderful stay with Sam. Her place is a quick, convenient drive to downtown Steamboat. Our room was big and the attached bathroom was super spacious. The bed was the best!!!! And the shower stayed nice and warm. Her two dogs are super sweet, and they made our stay feel extra homey. Sam is a wonderful, easy going host. Great experience.

If you don't like lovable dogs, don't stay here. Otherwise, it is sweet and comfortable, open and relaxing. I soaked in the tub, sat and read by myself, slept like a dream, and felt right at home.

Just had an awesome weekend hitting the slopes and staying with Sam! Loved her set-up--super nice home, cozy furnishings, and a great master space on the main floor. Spacious master bathroom as well. Communication was quick and easy with Sam throughout the whole process. Slept great, enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings, and location was an easy drive just out of town. Super comfortable!

Sam was a great host! Very welcoming and provided everything for a great stay. The room is huge and the bathroom is incredible. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub in the snow after skiing. Overall, awesome house, great room, excellent host...we would stay again for sure!

Staying with Samantha was great! The hammock was so comfortable I almost fell asleep in it after about five minutes. The overall feel was very relaxing. She has a great meditation/yoga space and the decoration was right up my hippie souls alley. On the flip side, you can tell Samantha has a fun side and had great recommendations for food and happy hours. And on an unrelated note, the bathroom is awesome and has a ton of natural light, which I personally love. It is a little outside of town, but you really get to see all of Steamboat by having to drive to the other side of it!

Nicole had a wonderful home. The location was close to the slopes and to the downtown. I liked how it was separate from the rest of the house. I would highly recommend her place!

Nicole was great in communicating everything we needed to know upfront. We were there mostly for skiing, but she offered to help with any information or suggestions we might want. The space downstairs is very private and comfortable. The separate living room was real nice to have. Lots of room and it was great having the mini-fridge and microwave.

This is a lovely space in a great location. Very close to downtown and about a 10 minute drive to the mountain. The space itself is very comfortable and well furnished. Nicole and her husband Mike were great hosts. Very friendly and communicative. I would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to steamboat.

Nicole and Mike's place is very comfortable and looks just like the pictures. Mike was very friendly when we arrived and showed us around. The basement feels very private and we had a large amount of space. From their home, it was very easy to get into town as well as travel around Steamboat Springs.

We had a wonderful time! The accommodations were comfortable and we had a very pleasant stay. Our schnoodle really enjoyed the back yard! Looking forward to returning next season!

We had a great stay at Lucy's place during a weekend getaway. We found Lucy to be a generous host who made sure we were comfortable and felt welcome. We will happily stay here again the next time we visit the area. Gunner (her dog) is great too!

We really enjoyed our stay at Perry Mansfield. This cabin is very rustic and cute. It felt like a mountain getaway while we were only 10 minutes away from downtown.
