Absolutely incredible cottage - even better in person. This cottage could be enjoyed in all seasons it’s so lovely, we are already looking at dates to return in summer for pimms in the huge garden. Great homely touches added we didn’t want to leave!

Yvonne’s beautiful cottage has everything you could possibly need and more for a relaxing stay. The lovely extra touches (bread, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, eggs etc.) along with the warm decor, blankets, and armchairs made it feel extra special, and we loved the cosy fireplaces. Jonny is an easy-going and accomodating host. He has a friendly cockapoo who will happily allow you to entertain him if you so choose! The house is comfortable and warm (v important during my stay!) and has a modern bathroom with great shower, deep bath etc... The kitchen has everything you need and there's plenty of room in the fridge for your food stuffs... My room was comfortable and served me well as i was in it most of the time working on a script rewrite. However, there's a couple of comfortable communal spaces and Jonny is a friendly chap.... All in all a very pleasurable stay pretty close to town centre and good walks if you fancy...(I brought my hound with me which was also not a problem). I happily recommend Jonny's place for your stay.......

Delicious Food and Sweet Host! My friend is Indian so we had great conversations with our host. I loved making the food and she knew a ton about India so it was fun asking questions. Pushpa did not mind if I had my phone out to take pictures. This is more of a “cook together” with the host than a structured class but I loved the experience. I would come back again :)

Stayed here multiple times and always receive the same warm friendly welcome. Dorothy & John are lovely hosts, their home is clean, warm & with all the facilities needed.

Such a warm welcoming atmosphere and delightful hosts. An easy 20 minute walk to the sea front and shops.

Pushpa's class was fun and interactive. She is so friendly and knowledgeable about cooking. We learned a lot from this class.

Dorothy was the most wonderful host I have had the pleasure of staying with in Southport, demonstrating such due paramount of care in hospitality and customer service craftmanship. Her house is situated in a quiet residential area with good bus connections to the seaside town centre, and the rest of Merseyside and Lancashire. The bedroom and bathroom were pristine and extravagant full of books and entertainment and comes with all the amenities needed including a charging station and the most delicious selection of tea, coffee and biscuits one can enjoy without even the need to pop downstairs to fill the kettle. Breakfast in the morning was the best continental breakfast I had even by British standards, offering more selection of jams one could find than an afternoon tea. Around the house I saw quite a selection of vintage propaganda posters that kept me amused, excellent all round ambient lighting and a very cosy fireplace in the living room not to be tampered. In fact Dorothy's house is not to be treated in light spirited manner, and customers considering a reservation at this place ought to demonstrate utmost respect and the highest regard in manners and etiquette before placing afoot near the premises of a very quiet residential corner of this region.

I booked a coach training at Stanley High School. Louise and Paul’s house is just 5min away from the school. Perfect location for my courses. Besides, every time I went back late from the course or other town, the light at the gate was always on. In China, we have a saying which is “no matter what happened, your family always keep the light on for you.” At those nights, at the gate, it is home. Many thanks to Louise and Paul.

Brilliant hosts and great place. Louise and Paul were very accommodating with my late arrival (traffic). Place is sparkling clean - room very good size - with everything you need. Not too far from center (45mins walk is not far for me) and just few minutes from the seaside. Perfect for me - thank you Guys

Honestly, Louise and Paul are lovely, genuine people. Their communication, patience and understanding was absolutely top notch. I messed up with the dates and they accommodated my change without any fuss at all. They went out of their way to provide room on their drive for me, welcomed me almost as if I was an old friend, and gave me a nice quick tour. The room was spotless and very well presented, and the bed? Comfortable, warm and just all round lovely. I would highly recommend staying here. Both the hosts were amazing and friendly and even directed me to where I needed to be that evening. If I'm ever back in Southport, I know exactly where I will be staying, and it's here

As previous posts have stated, Paul and Louise are terrific hosts. We were visiting friends and family in the area, so really did not spend much time at their home other than to sleep. However we knew if there was anything needed we just had to ask.

We had a great stay at Paula's. Used it as a base to visit Southport Flower Show which was also good. Paula was very accommodating in allowing us to use her kitchen to prepare our picnic lunch to take with us on 2 days we went out & we took our own cereals & milk to have for breakfast & stored some sandwich stuff in her fridge. Bathroom clean & Paula not there all the time so no problem sharing it with her. Worked out perfectly for us & a very reasonable price. Ideal base to explore Southport.

We really enjoyed our nights stay at Wayne's place. The room was really great value for what was included, it is basic but clean & towels, shampoo etc were provided. It is in an amazing location, directly opposite the prom & casino, with plenty of resteraunts around. There is a huge tv in the room too! DVD players, hairdryers & irons are available at reception. The staff were friendly and asked if we wanted to have breakfast for an extra £4/5 but we didn't as we had a train to catch! We would stay again if we were in the area! Thank you :)

I booked this for my parents, they were not disappointed they loved there little breakaway. They said its lovely and quite perfect place to relax and has everything you need and more! Has a real comfy home from home vibe and very stylish. My mum wanted to move in. Will be booking myself to go now!

Luxury accommodation with super hosts.

You can expect a large, lovely furnished, comfortable home. The garden is huge, colourful, not overlooked, with various places to sit out and have your meal if you want to. The guest's room is small but comfortable with a spacious bathroom next door. There are 2 delightful dogs who don't jump up at you, if you don't like that sort of thing. Pat is an excellent host - extremely kind and thoughtful. Nothing is too much trouble. She and her husband treated me like one of the family. They took me in their car to Marshside RSPB site, which is a little way from a bus stop, one morning. There is tea and coffee and soft drinks to help yourself to and whatever you'd like for breakfast. I can't recommend them highly enough.

No wonder Andy is a super host. Instant communications. Spotless, lovely house in a very quiet street. In fact the whole area is upmarket, quiet and safe. Easy and free street parking. There were nice touches in the room. Water, huge fitted wardrobe, wide-screen TV with Prime etc. Dressing gown, very comfortable bed with high quality bed linen and towels. Bedside lamps and a reading light. The door locks. Huge shower with light sensors in bathroom for late at night. Andy is a genuine and very kind and friendly host who can't do enough to make you feel welcome and provides a homely atmosphere. Gave directions and lots of tips about the area. The train station is walking distance as is the town. There's an Aldi, several pubs and takeaways nearby. Excellent value for money and location. I can't recommend Andy or his wonderful house enough. Everything was perfect. Thanks a lot Andy for an exceptional stay.

Great location for a visit to Southport. Really central and everything is walkable. Flat was very clean and had everything we needed.

We had a great time at Lui's place. All we needed, clean and tidy with a great shower. The flat is really central and close to amenities and station with direct trains to Liverpool. We didn't have any problem finding a parking space outside overnight and during the day we parked for free 15 minutes away from the flat. A great convenient flat, we'll surely be back if we ever come in the area again.

Really lovely place to stay and a wonderful host.

Angela is a very gracious and accommodating host. The space is very clean and updated. The toilet room includes a towel heater (bonus). And the beds a very comfortable with big fluffy covers. The Gardens in the front and back are beautiful. The rooms are pretty quite. Overall my wife and my Two Aunts thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect for our needs to visit a few sites in Southport and a quick jaunt for the day in Liverpool (including parking tips from Angela). We will definitely be back if we are in this area again!

We had a lovely 3 night stay in this apartment. It was so spacious and beautiful. Having our breakfast provided made life so much easier and there was an excellent selection. We slept very well (as did our little 2 year old) would highly recommend!

The entire top floor felt like an apartment that was private. An amazing house. Very spacious, clean and relaxing. Angela was lovely host. We will stay there again when next in Southport.

I stayed overnight in Southport and wanted somewhere comfortable and quiet. I really hit the jackpot with Clair. She was the perfect host, and this was the perfect space - a large, comfy bed, seating area, SkyTV, en-suite shower-room and lots of thoughtful touches that you might find in a quality hotel. Everything was spotlessly clean, and decorated to a high standard. Clair brought me a lovely continental breakfast in the morning, with a bowl of fresh fruit, croissants and a yoghurt. She even gave me a lift to the conference centre. Highly recommended.

Clair is an amazing host and went out of her way for me and my partner, our room was gorgeous, clean and very comfortable, great idea having a lounge area, Clair made so many lovely little touches like wine and j20 in the room, amazing tea and coffee, and the pillow spray before sleep was lovely, breakfast was great and we really felt at home! Neil was a great host and very patient and understanding as it was a last minute booking and I arrived late due to travel. He also had lots of local knowledge. We spent three very comfortable nights at the cottage. It was quiet and warm, the shower was powerful, the bed great and the facilities all we might have hoped. Churchtown itself was a lovely surprise too and we recommend a “Remedy” breakfast. I hope we will be back !

Stayed three nights over Christmas whilst visiting relatives. This is excellent accommodation two full bedrooms with two ensuites. Plenty of room for four people to relax in comfort.

Strongly recommend this house. Great facilities and really central location. Anne’s communications were first class and her attention to detail was very evident.

Lovely spacious and cozy space, located a few minutes from the Centre. Anne was on hand to help us check in and checked up on us to see how we were. I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else when I go to Southport from now on, amazing!

We had a lovely stay at Rogers place. It was very clean, tidy and modern. The facilities where really good, a lovely comfy bed and towels provided. A lovely welcome from Roger and Marie and an ample breakfast provided. Close to shops, bars, restaurants and the sea front. Great to be able to leave the car in safe off road parking behind private gates for the whole of our stay. Recommended for couples or a family will definitely stay again when in the area.

Fabulous stylish property with exceptionally clean rooms and lovely en-suite shower. Roger and Marie were welcoming and hospitable hosts giving us space to enjoy a lovely help yourself healthy breakfast included in the room costs whilst also offering great tips on where to eat. We would fully recommend their Air BnB and hope to return. Don’t understand the previous comments re neighbors dogs we didn’t hear them at all.

The apartment was very comfortable with very modern decor and all the amenities you could need and incredibly close to the town centre, so I could leave my van in the allocated car park and not need to pay to park in the town centre. Though I only visited the roof terrace out of curiosity to see the views, I could tell it would make an amazing breathing space and change of scene on a busy business trip in warmer weather. What stood out for me though was Jenny's incredible service. I'd driven a long way and she was able to juggle things so I could check in early, and when I experienced unexpected noise disturbance from the apartment above, she pulled out all the stops to address it and was in touch frequently to check if things had improved. This is a rare level of service in my reasonably extensive experience as an Airbnb guest and really stood out.

Lovely place 😊 The host: Jenny went out of her way to make sure everything was up to standard for my stay. Always kept in touch and replied to all my messages super fast. Not only that, but she also provided me with: tea, coffee, bread, butter, sugar and milk, as I arrived late and didn’t have time to go to a shop. The listing: One of the most beautiful cosy places I have stayed in. Super luxurious, clean and amazingly comfortable. The area: Very calm and pleasant area, minutes away from the town center, shop and train station (with trains going to Manchester and Liverpool )

Lovely décor, very clean and more spacious than expected for a studio. Bed very comfortable. Located a 10-15 minute walk from the centre with many shops, bars, restaurants.

Everything was like it was described. Free Parking, beatifull house, near Southport's center and the beach, and Roger and Mary were so kind to us ! I certainly recommend it !
