The views are stunning and it's just the most amazing setting you could wish for. https://wanderingirishcailin.com/2018/04/28/the-ultimate-weekend-getaway-in-kinsale/ Kinsale quayside Kinsale hosts an annual jazz festival, which takes place during the last weekend of October. Pubs and hotels in the town host concerts by jazz and blues groups throughout the weekend, including on the last Monday of October (which is a bank holiday in Ireland).[34][35] The monumental steel, originally unpainted, sculpture The Great Wall of Kinsale, by Eilis O'Connell and installed in 1988 to celebrate Kinsale's achievements in the Tidy Towns competition, stands by Pier Road and Town Park.[36] Bastion, a restaurant on Market/Main streets, received a Michelin Star in 2020.[4] Chef Keith Floyd was previously a resident of Kinsale.[37] Kinsale is a holiday destination for both Irish and overseas tourists.[2] Leisure activities include yachting, sea angling, and golf. The town also has several art galleries, and there is a large yachting marina close to the town centre. The town is known for its restaurants,[3] including the Michelin-starred Bastion restaurant,[4] and holds a number of annual gourmet food festivals.[5] Historical buildings in the town include St. Multose's Church (Church of Ireland) of 1190, St. John the Baptist (Catholic) of 1839, the Market House of c. 1600, and the so-called French Prison (or Desmond Castle, associated with the Earls of Desmond) of c. 1500. Charles Fort, a partly restored star fort of 1677, is in nearby Summercove.[6] Kinsale, County Cork is all about scenery, stories and surprises. let's start with the surprises, Kinsale is hopping like no place else in Ireland in the cool of an Irish spring. The town is busy with locals and tourists alike, with many French, recently arrived overnight from Roscoff giving a well dressed look, to an already well heeled and presented town. Steeped in stories, the defeat of the Irish in the Battle of Kinsale 1601 changed the course of Irish history forever with the Flight of the Earls (the old order of Irish chieftains) and the arrival of the British planters. But, long before even that event, it was an important trading port on the route to the new world. Landmark taverns and the Dutch style courthouse, where the inquest into the sinking of the Luistania in 1915 was held as well as medieval Desmond Castle still survive as do most of the other character houses in and around the narrow maze of streets that thankfully have not been demolished in the name of progress or greed.... Kinsale thrives on its waterfront location, the galleons which once sailed right up town have been replaced with leisure craft for both sailing and fishing. The Kinsale regatta is one of the longest running in Ireland and as popular as ever. Thirty years ago, Kinsale pioneered the Slow Food Movement with local artisan food producers getting together with chefs to produce the most wonderful food. In fact there seems to be more bars, restaurants and cafes per square mile here than in Dublin and as I say its busy, busy, busy. But the people are warm and friendly and for the most characters like Martin Shanahan who’s mad about fish and is leading a nationwide campaign to get us all back cooking and eating it. You will spoiled for choice restaurant wise and there is certainly somewhere to suit all tastes and pockets. A great weekend destination or starting point on a scenic road trip around West Cork.... 10 Other Things To Do and See in and around Kinsale..... 1 First up Dermot Ryan’s walking tour of Kinsale is a must, tailor made, instantly, to suit the interests and nationalities of the various individuals who show up on the day. Warm, witty and informative, it’s the best €5 you will spend in Kinsale, tour departs daily at 10.30 from the Tourist Office on the quay and takes about an hour. 2 In these days of online everything is there anything better when on holidays than browsing a real bookshop rather than a virtual one and having a book talk to you or fall into your hands as well as a chat with the owner of the Kinsale Book Shop who’ll advise you on the latest arrivals re Irish interest or just a downright, good old-fashioned read, as well as the state of the industry! 3 Followed by coffee and the best lemon meringue pie in Ireland at the Lemon Leaf or a real hot chocolate in Jo’s. I must say I like this kind of niche marketing, it certainly adds to the relaxation element of a pleasant saturday morning shop when my stomach nods in agreement without even having to bother my mind. 4 The Boathouse Gallery with an electic selection of sea inspired images, I particularly liked but couldn’t afford, as usual, the Dee Pieters landscapes of West Cork with their mirror like water elements and bottomless lakes. With a warm Cork welcome from the owner, who knows well you are only browsing and unlikely to buy, well not this time perhaps, but maybe next time? 5 And then there are the stalwarts like Jim Edwards, the Blue Haven and the Spaniard out the road, that have been there forever. There’s a great line up of music most nights throughout the summer, good food and perfect pints all day and plenty of atmosphere all with walking distance of each other. 6 And no shortage of restaurants obviously in the Gourmet Capital of Ireland, cheap and cheerful Crackpots and Brunos to more expensive Finns Table and Fishy Fishy with the Black Pig doing tapas but my absolute favourite is up next? 7 Bulman Pub, Summercove, never was a place more aptly named, location? tick! sunset, if you are lucky? tick! atmosphere? most definitely! great pints, cold beer or glass of wine? for sure! And the best oysters, lobster and seafood you will eat anywhere in Ireland. 8 Charles Fort, after the defeat of the Irish in 1601 the English built this French style star shaped fort at the mouth of the harbour and installed a garrison of over 1000 troops which remained in Kinsale for over 400 years until we got our independence in1922. You can visit by car or on foot, a nice walk out via Scilly, take a Harbour Cruise or Hire a Boat during the summer. 9 Old Head, Kinsale, known as the 'Edge of the World’ at the time, it still looks like that, a rugged peninsula, jutting out 3 miles out into the Atlantic with its famous lighthouse and Celtic marriage stone. It now belongs to private consortium who have developed a world class links and exclusive golf club which is on every golfers bucket list of courses to play before they die
  • Fantastic House amazing views Can't get better views in ireland I reckon. Excellent value for money.

  • Great spacious house with very comfortable beds.

    Charlotte2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • We were here to celebrate a 30th and 40th. Both people ended up having the best weekend ever. I wouldn't do any justice describing the house, it really just is breathtaking. The host was more than helpful in answering all my queries.

    Fil2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • This is an amazing house with unbelievable views. It’s quiet and private and we had a wonderful time here.

    Deborah2020-01-12T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing house with beautiful views. Everything is super modern, and there are lots of spaces for groups to hang out, but also enough rooms to get some privacy when desired. Rooms are very comfortable and clean, making the entire house cozy. Make sure you catch the sunset on the back porch with a nice cup of tea! Kinsale is a great town to spend the weekend away. Lots of great food. Highly recommend The Supper Club. Also full of shops and off licenses to get anything you need. Communication was very easy, which made things fluid. Only complaint was the lack of basic items in the house, such as basic cooking supplies, additional towels for going to the beach, toilet paper and kitchen paper etc. You need to get these items for a comfortable stay yourself.

  • Perfect retreat South of Cork. Ann was kind enough to pick me up from Belgooly, and her son dropped me off at the bus stop on the day I left. The views from the cabin are spectacular and the cabin is cosy. Definitely a great stay for a couple or a single traveler. The dog, Sandy, coming to hang out was a perk :)

    Bri2020-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely stunning location where you can sit on the deck looking out to sea. Cabin itself is basic but clean and comfortable. Ann and her family are warm and welcoming and excellent hosts. Looking forward to our next stay at the Cabin!

    Caroline2020-01-19T00:00:00Z
  • Can’t beat the view from the cabin or cozying up by the fire to read after a day of exploring the area. Ann was a great host and super friendly, and we were also pleased that her sweet dog Sandy gave us a visit one night. Like others have mentioned, Ann gives great directions to the house but it is on a narrow and windy road - best to find it the first time during the day!

    Jessie2019-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • Fabulous location, lovely and cosy with the stove lit. Ann was very welcoming and gave us eggs, bread and milk for breakfast. Looking forward to visiting during the summer months when the evenings are longer

    Jacinta2019-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • Outstanding location with views that are better than seen on-line. Basic as Ann describes it but it’s so comfortable. First time in a long time we have gone without a TV but it was so worth it, hubby and I actually chatted for hours listening to music, haven’t done much of that and it was lively until we disagreed on what was going to be played next lololol

    Eleanor2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is a gem! We spent a couple of nights there. Ann greeted us , and provided local tips for the area. Ann’s dog , Sandy is so sweet...she would greet us in the morning on our way out. We ventured into Kinsale both nights and ate at the Bluehaven. Food was great, service was ok! Our second day was spent at the cliffs of moher, coming back to the cabin was just what we needed. In closing, the cabin is perfect for spending time with your special someone and getting away from the daily routine. Ann provided a memorable experience of Ireland! Hope to be able to come back one day!!!

    Maureen2019-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is a delightful get-way dream. Picturesque views of the ocean, beach and rolling pastures. A short drive to wonderful Kinsale. We had a memorable stay with Ann.

    Mark2019-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • The pictures of Ann's Cabin do not do it justice, the cabin is amazing! Gorgeous view and everything you need in a cosy cabin, perfect location, 10 mins from Kinsale - Ann is a great host and we loved Sandy the dog!

  • We had a wonderful stay. Laura is a wonderful host. Although she had to work late, she made a point of welcoming us and gave us some great ideas of places to visit in the area, and the best way to get there. The apartment is sparkling clean, and she had lovely touches to welcome us, such us fresh flowers, coffee, tea, juice and breads with butter and delicious jam for breakfast. We highly recommend staying here.

  • Great place to stay - close to Kinsale but in a quiet, rural setting. Laura and her husband were both welcoming & we enjoyed our time there. Nice tidy space & fresh flowers waiting on our arrival! She gave us ideas on where to eat, where to get our laundry done and let us know where to park so we didn't have to drive the crowded streets of Kinsale.

    Patrice2019-10-12T00:00:00Z

Very nice welcome from the couple, who had also filled the fridge and the kitchen for our arrival and our breakfast.

The place was very clean, the breakfast was delicious and they were always very helpful suggesting activities or places to see during my trip. They are aware that it can be tricky to find the address using GPS so they provide very accurate indications prior to my arrival.

In addition, Daragh was a great host who picked us up from the bus station and provided a list of restaurants, pubs and scenic walks. The view and location of the pod is great, with it being a stone throw away from the amazing coastline and short walk into the centre.

  • THE POD IS THE BEST! Such a fun adventure in the beautiful town of Kinsale. Clean, bright, and homey. We purchased enough materials to create our own charcuterie board and had our own little romantic set up to watch the sunset right from the pod. Wish we could’ve stayed longer! It was our absolutely favorite location.

    Colleen2020-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great location with a perfect view. Daragh was a fantastic host and the unit was extremely accommodating. From the amenities available to the spacious living area. Would highly recommend to anybody traveling through the area.

    Ethan2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great overnight stay at Daragh's. The view from the room is beautiful. We really enjoyed the Scilly walk into Kinsale which was about 30mins and right on the water. Daragh was a great host - accomodating on check in/out and had the place really well set up for us. The fresh baked bread, cereal and other amenities were excellent too. I'd highly recommend a stay at Daragh's and hope to be back soon. Thanks, Christine and Dave

Ann's larger room was available so she generously allowed me to stay there instead of the smaller room which I had booked. Ann provided fantastic local tips and I took all of her suggestions! Dinner at a pub with live music, a walk along the Scilly Path to visit Charles Fort and a drive out to Clonakilty!

The location is perfect for Kinsale walk (7 min) and there is even a parking space, which would be more difficult in the city center. • Traveling through Ireland, we were booking our stays the day of. Conor was very quick to respond and offered better directions than our GPS! The stay was lovely and breakfast with Conor and his wife was a highlight. The homemade marmalade was delightful! Their dog Murphy came out to say hello and is a charming fellow - loves pets and made things feel even more at home. We had wonderful conversation and Conor gave excellent suggestions for how to spend the day! We will be back some day!

  • Hetty is a lovely person and a brilliant host, going above and beyond to make you feel at home and looked after. The bed is extremely comfortable, there’s a coffee machine and teas, thoughtful touches like slippers, local guide books, some chocolates, black-out blinds. She’s really done everything to make the room as convenient and comfortable as possible. I wish I could have stayed longer! I’ll definitely be back!

    Jenna2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Loved staying with Hetty, brilliant host, great local tips and good laugh! Also she was amazing with giving lifts to town if I needed it! Looking forward to staying with Hetty again.

    Elliott2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • I have been in Kinsale just for a weekend. The house is amazing, and Hetty has been very kind and friendly. She picked me up from the bus station when I arrived, and dropped me off before I left. The house is really beautiful, and from there you can easily walk to Kinsale harbor following a lovely walk beside the sea. If I will come back to Kinsale, Hetty will certainly be my first choice for an accommodation.

    Giampiero2019-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • If there is one thing you must do in Kinsale, it is to stay with Hetty. Seriously, this was the best place I have ever booked and Hetty was such a saint. My friend and I had an unfortunate experience in a hostel and booked with Hetty at the very last minute and it is the best thing that has happened to us on our trip thus far! Hetty’s home is beautiful and is worth way more than the nightly fee she charges. Hetty was also an incredible host, and gave us many local suggestions for Kinsale. We were seriously upset to leave Kinsale and Hetty! If we ever travel back, we will definitely stay with Hetty again!!

    Ashley2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Hetty has two rooms, one of which is a suite, very comfortable and tastefully furnished, generous and very hospitable, she picked me up at the bus station and drove me to town several times where she knows everything @ and then it is a very interesting woman! In short, an address to recommend and a very good value for money.

Just 15 mins drive from Cork airport and 5 mins from Kinsale, The Plum tree Cabin is surrounded by the beautiful Irish country side. The cabin is a tiny home nested in Jagoes Mills, overlooking our green Irish rolling hills and it is ideal if you are visiting Kinsale and starting or finishing your holidays. Kinsale is one of the most beautiful towns in Ireland and it is also the start of the fabulous Wild Atlantic Way.
The Plum tree Cabin is a wooden building. It is small and cosy. The downstairs holds a kitchen and living area, as well as a generous bathroom and a storage room. The upstairs loft has a double bed, and it is typical of a tiny house with a steep step ladder as access. The Cabin is independent from the house and it has its own courtyard with table/chair and stone bench to enjoy outside the long Irish summer evenings.
The Kinsale golf club is only 2 mins from here and the Mill Wheel pub is just down the hill from us. Jagoes Mills is one of the historic sites of Kinsale. No far from here a couple of decisive battles were fought back in 1601 that determined the history of Ireland. It is a quiet and beautiful area convenient to those travelling and wanting to experience the real rural Ireland.
  • The (not so tiny) tiny house is amazing! We loved staying there and felt very at home. Everything is new and clean. Piluca is a very nice and welcoming host who offered us help and recommendations.

    Amelie2020-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed at Piluca's place with my brother and boyfriend at the end of a week long road trip in Ireland. We really did save the best for last. Not only was the cabin itself super comfy, clean, and beautiful, the location was awesome and Piluca was probably the friendliest person we met in Ireland. She gave us GREAT local tips on Kinsale which we are thankful for because we would have missed out on that otherwise. We also loved playing with her dog Rafaella. It really did feel like a home away from home for a day, and I definitely recommend staying at Piluca's place if you plan on visiting Kinsale.

    Nicole2019-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • I can't say enough good things about the Plum Tree Cabin and the host, Piluca. She offered a very easy check in and her directions made getting to her place a breeze. The cabin itself was adorable! We wished we could've spent more time there! Piluca also had really great suggestions on where to go to dinner and great things to do! We loved every second of our time in Kinsale!

    Julia2019-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • The plum tree cabin was the perfect place to stay to finish off our trip to Ireland. Kinsale is a beautiful town and we wouldn’t have known about it if we didn’t stay in our lovely hosts cabin. We will certainly come back to this lovely hidden gem!

The location is close to downtown Kinsale and easy parking. I really liked the shower (perfect for someone tall like myself), and my wife loved the nespresso machine. We slept soundly and never had an issue with any noise. This was by far our most comfortable airbnb stay!

  • Bernadette's place is very nice, a short drive away from the Cork airport which is handy if you are arriving late. She kindly allowed us to check in late in the evening which was also great. The room is spotless and the bed was very comfy. Finding her place was a bit tricky at dark, but if you follow her instructions there should not be any problem. Self contained annex consisting of bedroom with adjoining shower room and a separate sitting room with kitchenette for snacks. Town is a 5-10 min walk away down Winters Hill. The property is in a quiet, much sought after area of Kinsale called Compass Hill, ( top of Winters Hill), with mature gardens and parking just outside the gates. Check in times: 4- 8pm. PLEASE send enquiry if later check in is required. Sorry, no early check ins are available due to previous guest check out/cleaning.
Lovely, newly refurbished private guest apartment with it's own entrance. The apartment is a part of the lower level of my home but sectioned off therefore no shared indoor spaces for guests. The area is cosy and bright and my house is set in a quiet area near town (5 to 10 minute walk), with established gardens for a relaxing stay. My dog Curly is also available for cuddles! Please note that we are on a hill, not difficult for most people of average fitness, but if you are someone who drives everywhere, you can drive down town in a minute. Compass Hill is an area of lovely green spaces, with property selling at a premium due to its pretty, peaceful placement, but also close to town. It is considered to be one of the best address areas in the town precinct.
The house and property is set in lovely mature gardens right near the Compass Hill scenic walk. It is a quiet peaceful area with the bonus of being a short walk (5 to 10 mins) to town. We have plenty of parking in the quiet laneway, which is a bonus as Kinsale has very narrow streets in the historic part of the town. You can walk downhill to town in a few minutes or drive if you wish. I chose my home for its quiet location close to town so please make sure you are happy with its location before booking. Kinsale is a historic town with very narrow streets, so most larger homes like mine are hard to come by within walking distance of town.
  • Great location and wonderful space. Rose and Curly were gracious hosts!

    Debbie2020-03-05T00:00:00Z
  • Roses place is perfect for both a short or long trip to the south or Ireland! It has everything you need to be in your self contained little bubble. The perfect location for a walk into Kinsale or drive into Cork, you will not be short of things to do. 100% recommend staying here!

    Kyle2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • This place was great! Lots of extra goodies for snacks and breakfast. Coffee machine was a great help in the morning. Comfortable bed and great shower, Rosemarie was thoughtful and put our towels next to the warmer. She was so sweet to make sure these Florida kids were warm on a snowy Kinsale night! Location is great, just a 5 minute walk downhill to town. Even the walk back up wasn't terrible. The bathroom is attached to the bedroom, but has a pocket door to the hall/living/kitchen area, no need to be squeamish.

    Megan2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • I had the best little stay, my favourite Airbnb to date!! I adore the decor Rosemarie chose, the location gives you an amazing view while walking into Kinsale (only 5/10 minutes), the little finishing touches meant a lot from the host. Curly is the cutest little thing and welcomed me with open paws! I would definitely stay here and recommend! Thank you!

    Charlotte2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • Great welcome, great place, very very charming and well decorated. Perfect 10 min walk from the center of Kinsale. We loved it!

    Marion2020-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • Rose and her dog were extremely friendly. They provided directions into town by walking and were able to answer questions via the app when needed.

    Kristin2019-12-24T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful place a short walk from town. Rosemarie is an amazing host and her space is just as great. So many nice extras (tea, cereal, bread, fresh fruit, milk, tons of bathroom products) really make this stylish place stand out from the rest. Communication was easy, would definitely stay again.

    Tess2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • Blown away of all the little extra touches. Amazing little house with close walking distance to town center. Very warm and helpful hostess. Highly recommend - like a Home away from Home :)

  • We had the privilege of staying in this beautiful accommodation when we travelled to Kinsale to attend a family event nearby. Pat and Susan epitomise all that is great about Airbnb. They genuinely enjoy hosting guests and sharing their wonderful home. Our bedroom was spotlessly clean and very tastefully appointed, as was the en-suite bathroom. The following morning we had a tasty, and fulfilling, breakfast which really set us up for the day. The house is located in a very quiet, safe residential part of Kinsale yet only a short distance from the town centre. I highly recommend this delightful home (and these friendly, welcoming hosts) to anyone looking for a restful, quiet, relaxing place to stay. We will be back!

    Mary2019-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • Pat and Susan were unbelievably welcoming. They showed us around the house, gave us time to settle in, and offered us a drink and a chat. We very much felt like we were staying with family. They went out of their way to cook us a full traditional Irish breakfast and it was delicious! The room was exactly as advertised and was very beautiful and comfortable. There were fresh flowers around the house in the kitchen and dining room and bedroom. Pat and Susan absolutely made our trip to Kinsale worthwhile. Really. They were beyond hospitable. We miss them already and are looking forward to staying with them again during our next visit to Ireland.

    Josh And Tammy2019-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • Pat and Susan’s place in Kinsale is a delight. I really feel they were the kindest, most welcoming hosts that I have yet encountered on AirBNB. We were a bit lost as the sun had gone down, and Pat helped us find our way. They then greeted us with a glass of wine and a pleasant chat. Breakfast was above and beyond expectations and because it was Peters birthday, they helped us celebrate. They represent what AirBnB should be.

    Naomi2019-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • If you're respectful you can expect the best welcome from Pat and Susan.

    Rose2019-09-16T00:00:00Z

  • The room is really great. You feel like you are with good friends. It is quiet but at the same time only a few steps away from the city center. If we ever go to Kinsale, we would stay at Pat and Susan again anytime. Both were so welcoming, we had a nice evening with you and a really great breakfast. Google maps led us to a wrong address, but we found it by phone after all;)

About Kinsale Originally a medieval fishing port, historic Kinsale (from the Irish, Ceann tSaile – ‘Head of the Sea’) is one of the most picturesque, popular and historic towns on the south west coast of Ireland. Kinsale is in County Cork in the province of Munster and just 25km from Cork City and Cork International Airport, and is the gateway to scenic ‘West Cork’ and the start/finish point of the ‘Wild Atlantic Way,’ the 2,500km coastal journey from Kinsale, Co Cork to Inishowen, Co Donegal. Visitors to Kinsale are captivated by its beautiful setting; its long waterfront, yacht-filled harbour, narrow winding streets and brightly painted galleries, shops and houses. The impressive fortifications of Charles Fort and James Fort guard the narrow entrance from the sea – giving clues to its rich history. There are a number of guided walking tours (including an evening Ghost Tour!) available and plenty of information at the Kinsale Tourist Office in the centre of the town.
  • We had a fantastic stay with Denis and Geraldine. Brilliant friendly hosts with so many great recommendations for food and exploring the local area. We loved meeting Dexter the dog, and curling up by the fire! Very easy drive from Cork airport to find the house, and in a great location. Two gorgeous rooms in the beautiful house, sparkling clean bathroom, lovely breakfasts, and very good value. So much to see and do nearby. Will definitely be back!

  • Denis and Geraldine deserves an 11/10 rating. We had an unbelievable experience staying in their home. Their hospitality was out of this world and the personal touch they provided was something you won't experience anywhere else. Rooms were spotless and very comfortable and we were woken with the smell of fresh coffee and croissants. Highly recommended if you are visiting the Kinsale region. You will definitely not be disappointed and leave with a smile on your face.

  • Great place in a beautiful town. The rooms are closer in quality to what you'd expect from a boutique hotel - which was a nice surprise. The restaurant/bar downstairs had probably the best oysters we've ever had, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

    Andy2019-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • Just what we needed. Exactly as it says on the tin, and right in the centre of a lovely gourmet town.

    Rebecca2019-11-24T00:00:00Z
  • This place is conveniently located for walks in the town center and more than met expectations. The food downstairs was also excellent.

    Sylvia2019-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I were looking forward to staying in a traditional style B&B over a pub for the fun of it. We were not disappointed. Jim Edwards is just such a place. With a nice pub and restaurant. The menu was good, the food was good, the drinks were good, and the service good. Check in was easy, ask for the key at the bar, however when we got to our room we found it reeked of smoke. It seems the last guest smoked excessively in the room. They were quick to apologize and put us in another room. Thank you so much. We felt bad for them, as they were still trying to air out the room when we left 2 days later. Ireland is smoke free in buildings. If you must smoke, please step outside!

    Dan2019-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • We slept in a nice room, had everything we needed. The Pub Jim Edwards offers lovely food.

    Silvia2019-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • Great location!!!

    Amanda2019-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Prime location. Excellent restaurant. Friendly people. Highly recommend.

    Justin2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • The Jim Edwards guesthouse was an excellent place to stay, right in the heart of Kinsale, and surrounded by bars and restaurants. The room was exactly as advertised, and the staff were very friendly. We were given a key to our room as well as a key for the exterior door in case of late arrival at night. The staff also looked after our bags as we arrived earlier than the check in time. I would highly recommend Fishy Fishy for dinner, and the Blue Haven and/or Hamlets for drinks.
